My Complaint to Mr. Ajay Bharti (V. P. Complaints) Dated[protected]

I hold card NO: [protected] since Aug-2006 issued in name of jaydip s tambaku and an add on card in name of my wife sangeeta j tambaku which was cancelled in April 2007
I would like to bring to your notice that despite paying all my outstanding bills within the due dates since the card was issued to me i have come to know that there are several reporting's to CIBIL against my name from your bank on both the cards.
Also since December 2008 despite depositing my cheques in time I was being charged late fees on my account and i've been trying to resolve the issue with your customer care executives since May 2009 to no effective result.
Due to this i cleared all my purchase out-standings in Oct 2009 deducting all the late payment fees and finance charges billed to date since Jan 2009 and paid by me in to-to with a hope that the matter will be resolved.
I'd request you to please look into the matter at the earliest and clear the CIBIL reporting at the earliest.
I'm attaching hereto the payment history details downloaded from SBI card website for your reference.

Further to bring to your notice that how low you have stooped, in your bid to extract monies from clients. Pursuant to my mail in December I'd received a call form one Mr. Rohit Bali on[protected] at 10.00 am to attend to my complaint. I explained him my grievances and asked him to check the record of my payments. He agreed that I'd had indeed been penalized despite making all the payments on time. He requested me to make a payment of Rs. 1200/- and assured that he will attend to my complaint within a week. I reiterated that I've cleared all my purchase out standings vide my payment of Rs. 8000/- in September and I do not owe any thing to the SBI Cards.

He still requested that as gesture I pay this amount and assured me that my complaint will be attended within a weeks time. In good faith and being convinced by his talks I agreed to pay Rs. 2000/- and immediately deposited the payment. I still have to hear from this gentleman person of yours who showed so much of false concern to settle the issue and convinced me to make a payment. I feel absolutely cheated. I've even mailed you the records downloaded from your website itself stating the cheque dates.

Since then there has been no communication on your part to settle the issue hence I stopped accepting the statement's sent by you since January 2010. This is where you started playing tricks. Despite rejecting to accept the fraudulent statements outright and the same being reconfirmed by a call from your side you people started sending sms that the statement has been delivered to my address on so and so date.

This went on till March. Then from April onwards I used to just get sms that the statement has been couriered to my address but the courier never came to my address for me to reject. Now comes your next trick up the sleeve. I started receiving calls form your executives again for payments. I once again explained him all my issues and even informed him of my conversation with Mr. Rohit Bali. He informed me that there is no such record of my conversation. This infuriated me and i refused to speak any further to this executive of yours. After two days one more executive of yours this time a lady called up and again started asking me to make payments. I refused that any payment is balance on my side and asked her to attend to my complaint. She again asked me to tell her what my grievances are. Do you think I've no other work and just keep repeating my issues every time your person calls up who as it is has no intention to resolve the matter but only interested in knowing when I'll make the payment.

Now this is a real innovation since last one week I'm getting calls from your call center and no one speaks from the other side.

I see all this i.e. sending sms's the blank calls as a desperate attempt to build up a case against me that despite repeated attempts from your side to resolve the matter and delivering the bills to me I'm not responding and intentionally defaulting. Please note that on two occasions I've recorded your blank calls.

Please Please be aware that you are not dealing with any common person who will get intimidated by your tricks and trades and will go any length to fight my cause. You have already spoilt my CIBIL record and I'm seriously contemplating filing a consumer complaint but my busy schedule is working to your benefit or I should have done this long back.

Hope you get the message LOUD and clear and stop all the jugglery at the earliest.

SBI Credit Card — INTEREST ON LATE PAYMENT

I HAVE BEEN ISSUED SBI CRDIT CARD AS LIFE TIME FREE CARD, AND I WAS USING THIS CARD AND MAKING REGULAR PAYMENT WITHOUT MISSING SINGLE DUE DATE FOR 3 YEARS
I RECEIVED RENEWED CRDIT CARD WITH ANNUAL FEES AND WHEN I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE CELL, I HAVE BEEN RUDLY TOLD THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY SO I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL BE PAYING THE BILL WITHOUT ANNUAL FEES AND REQUESTED TO DISCONTINUE THE BIIL.
SUBSEQUENT BILL WHICH I RECEIVED WAS WELL AFTER THE DUE DATE AND THIS HAS HAPPENED FIRST TIME. SO I AM VERY MUCH SURE THAT THIS HAS BEEN DONE DELIBERATLY.THIS BILL ALSO I PAID ONLY TO THE AMOUNT EHICH I HAD SPENT DURING THE MONTH.
AFTER THAT I HAD RECEIVED THE BILL FOR INTEREST WHICH WAS KEEP ON INCREASING

    Dear Sir,

    This is to bring to your information that I was not issued a Customer Letter from SBI Shrirampur Branch. I m a Savings Account holder (A/C No.-[protected]) in Shrirampur branch. I required a customer letter informing since when I have been holding the account in there branch for a Sub brokership application. First the Branch Manager asked me to bring an application. But when I wrote an application and went again, he simply refused to issue the letter. And also started yelling at me and one of my collegue as we asked him the reason of not issuing the letter.
    I am very much unsatisfied by there behaviour.

    Hope you can help me out with issue.

      sir i am having saving account in state bank of india rly rd branch code 4397 and i have depoiste cash in apka bazar meerut branch. when i get ernty in pass book the bank deducted the charges of rs 25 per cash dep.entry and rs 10 for entry in pass book how can bank deduct these charges as the bank is cbs branch and i make these transaction if the same city on the out side city please kindly do the needful

      I have a saving accoutn with State Bank Of India. They charge for all transaction which are donw from non home bank. If the bank is centralised then why should a customer charged for filling the passbook or depositing the amount from non home branch. Then what is the use of centralised banking if we have to pay for all transaction with the other branch.

        Dear Sir,

        I used to hold an SBI card no [protected] around 3 to 4 years back. This card was discontinued by me, as I was not happy with the services recieved by them.

        To brief you on the matter, I used to receive statements on my SBI card very irregularly, this was hampering my activity of keeping track of my payments being done as I hold several cards. Quite a no.of times I have complained about this calling SBI call centers., but the situation did not improve and I used to receive subsequent statement with late payment fee & penalties, where I had not received the actual bill on expense. Not only that , there were not a single drop boxes around to drop these payment cheques, even the SBI ATM centers would not except the credit card payment cheque. On calling the call center, they would arrange for a pick up. This was always not suitable for me as I was a frequent traveler. All other cards that I hold had a tie up with SKYPACK collection boxes. I was told that SBI did not have any such tie up. With all this confusion I decided to cancel my SBI card. Therefore I called up the call center and put in a request for cancellation for which they replied that this card had a outstanding, therefore I asked them to send me the relevant missing statements & I would clear the expense actually incurred by me and no penalties would be paid as it is not my fault if SBI had problems delivering statements on time. They told me that they have logged the request and the required statements would come to you in a week. After this also the statements did not arrive for 2 weeks and I had to call up again. After which I received a set of 7 statements. Based on this I arranged cleared the complete outstanding on the actual expense incurred by me (after reconcilling the same with the SBI call center executive) for Rs 14765.77 thru cheque no 000069 drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank dated 17.08.06, against the outstanding reflecting in the last statment of Rs 23506.53.This cheque was collected from me from Indore, were i was travelling and I was promised that this account would be closed and settlement letter would be subsequently malied to my residence.This was explained to Ms.Shibani who had called from SBI - Delhi, who promised me look into it and clear the account. Since then I recieved no calls nor any statements, hence I believed that the matter was closed.

        But since past few month, I started receiving calls again to clear the outstanding on my card. Also they again started sending me the statements again, which i have not recieved for last few years. I have started recieving calls from SBI - Cards Mahim Branch from different officers each time asking me to clear the outstanding which they communicated to me is some Rs 40,000 + or we will have to sort this out in Court were you will have face a lot of problems of hiring a lawyer and attending to court When I communicated that the account was settled and the matter closed a long time ago. They informed that it is not so & there is still an outstanding. Even after giving the reference and arranging give them the copies of the those statement thru which the account was closed, they disagreed and asked me for the settlement letter and also went to extent of very rude and threatening behavior. The mistake from me would be that, I didnot follow up for the settlement letter then, when I had made the payment, as i beleived the matter is laid to rest and never had a past experience in handling this type of issue. The lady who spoke to me for the last time introduced herself to me as Ms. Anita who informed me that, we would now meet in court. Since then I have recieved 2 notices from some Delhi based law firms..

        I hold more than 6 to 7 cards of various reputed banks since last 15 years and have never faced this kind of service and behavior ever.This is why I am writing to you guys for help..

        Credit Card SBI — Not Receiving Statement only receiving threatening calls

        From the Month of December 2007 I have not received my Credit Card Statement and I have received call from your collection department that your payment is due and you have to pay Rs. 2300/-. In connection I deposited regular payment of Rs. 2300/- every month without any transaction with SBI I have deposited all these payments by cheque from Canara Bank. In view of the above everytime your representative called and said my payment is due there is no statement then how can I know that my payment is due and how much every month you people are charging late fee from me now from the last month I deposited 2280/- on 29thMarch 2008 and the cheque is cleared from my bank on 2nd April 2008 after that I am receiving threating calls from your collection department and I also received a threaten letter from your office that you people write there that you block tthe card and case refer in legal department for initiate appropriate legal action against me to recover the aforesaid dues with interest and other charges.

        Now I am assisting you that what you want you do you go to leagl or anywhere am also going to CONSUMER VOICE, CONSUMER COURT AND WOMER CELL AND ALSO IN POLICE STATION FOR LODING A COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU AND YOUR COLLECTION DEPARTMENT PEOPLES FOR HARRASING AND THREATING ME.

        Sir,

        I am also a user of SBI Credit card. After setelment with bank about payment, I had Paid all amount with cash to SBI. 2 Months Later I had received a Statement from SBI Cedit Cards That I have outstanding of Rs. 574/- for immidiate payment. How it is possible ?
        The settelemt Latter & Cash Receipt of SBI is with me.

        Sir, Suggest me That What Can I do about it

          I am asheshwar das an ex serviceman retired from indian air force on[protected] as group X now called as diploma holder and opened pension account in SBI air force station tughlakabad account NO. is [protected] my PPO no. is 08/14/B/[protected]. as per GOI letter no PC/10(1)D-2009 (pen/pol) dated 08 mar 2010 revised pension should be as follows according to pension wing of indian air force basic pension-7206 ,dearness relief @ 35%-2522 dedoction of commutation 1108 ,pension in hand 8620, but i am getting only 8072 regarding this I have submitted written complain on 08 july 2010 at branch bank and then on 12 august 2010 at SBI chandani chowk (CPCC)ref. No. 33 but till now i am not getting revised pension.

            This one is as clear as a crystal glass but still our education loan was rejected by one of the largest bank sbi. My son got admission in china for mbbs in Anhui medical university which is fully recognised by MCI (medical council of india). We applied for education loan (4 lakhs) on 22 sept 2010 and we got assurance that we would get loan within 24 hours all the documents were attached and verified by the head of branch. On 29 sept 2010 our loan was rejected on the following basis:-
            "We rejected your captioned proposal received on 29/09/2010 for the reasons mentioned below:-
            instant instructions contained in e-cir.PBU-PERSONAL LOANS SL. No:789/2008-09 dated 31.03.2009 state that "medical courses in countries of the erstwhile USSR, china, nepal, and other countries not recognized by medical council of india will not be covered.

            This was the written rejection given to us by Mr. surjit choudhary....as mentioned clearly in the above lines that recognised universities by MCI are covered and mine is covered too then on what ground they have given us the rejection letter.

            I took an education loan from SBI in 2003 for an amount of Rs.2, 25, 000/- and they cleared two dd worth Rs 1, 27000/. After my entry into the final they stopped all the remaining amount saying that i had arrears ...
            Till date i couldnt finish my course... they completely led to a heck of a situation till date ...

            I got myself recouped and started doing BBA and finishing MBA by 2013 April 2013, these idiotic bank people have been sending me notices saying to pay an amount of Rs.2, 93, 000/-...

            They are saying it now that i have pay the interest from the date 2003 itself...

            If they say this .. why the hell they are terming it as EDUCATION LOAN...

            PEOPLE THESE BANK RELATED ISSUES HAS CAUSED SO MUCH OF TROUBLE ALL THROUGH MY EDUCATION ..HAD SPOILED ALL MY CAREER...

            NOW I HAVE GOT THE PROBLEM OF HYPERTENSION(BP) AT THE AGE OF 26 ITSELF...


            I AM NOT AN IDIOTIC STUDENT TOOOO...

              Sir,

              I complained in this forum on 22.9.2010 but till date nothing has happened. Inspite of paying me officiating of scale II for 2 years and 9 months, they have paid me officiating of scale II only for 68 days. The Branch Manager, SBI, Berkheda Branch, (2375), Bhopal has not even bothered to check the records and in a hurried and absurd manner paid only 68 days officiating so that higher ups get satisfied that officiating has been paid and matter resolved. But the matter has not yet been resolved.

              I again, through this forum, request the chairman Shri O P Bhatt to look into the matter and ensure that I am paid my lawful dues of remaining 2 yrs and 6 months odd.

              If I am not heard and my problem is not resolved then I may consider some other ways to get my lawful dues.

                With Refrence to Mutual Fund Folio Number 6177809.

                I have send dully signed document to your office ,two month back to transfer the mutual fund amount in my NRO AC. My courier has been received at your office.

                As per your suggestion I sent signed request application and Cancel Bank Cheque to transfer the Amt in my ICICI NRO AC.

                Application sent by Courier First Flight DXB190839 and received on 31st Aug at your office.

                  The recovery department has recovered an amount of Rs.1905/- from my FD of Rs.20000/- for outstanding payment of Rs.250/-(Card Fee) and Rs.805/- (some purchase on 12th May).

                  I informed the Bank that I did not receive any bill/purchase voucher or reminder for these payment at my residence or by any other means.

                  On my repeated inquiry with the Bank Authorities today i.e. on 1st Sept. I was told over phone that the recovery department has done this as per the terms and conditions of the Advantage Card.

                  I wish to know can SBI recover such outstanding payment WITHOUT SENDING BILLS/VOUCHER/PAYMENT INVOICE/REQUEST OR REMINDER?
                  Secondly, is SBI not boud to inform its client about such action taken by the recovery section till the client approaches the bank after two/three months?

                  Kindly take up this matter to the concerned authorities and advise me accordingly

                  CARD IS ATTACHED TO FD WHEN INTEREST RATES GO HIGH BANK DO NOT GIVE PREVAILING RATES AS FD CANNOT BE PRE CLOSED UNTIL LIEN ON FD IS REMOVED IT IS STUPID TO HAVE SUCH CARDS WHEN ALL DUES ARE PAID BY CUSTOMER.PROCESS OF LIEN ALSO TAKES ONE MONTH.THEYY NEVER PROCESS TO HAVE HIGHER INTEREST EVEN YOU CREDIT DUES ARE ZERO
                  NO ONE SHOULD OPT FOR THIS CARD.
                  I think if bill statements did not reach on time then one should have called up the helpline informing them of not receiving bill statements. Bank revokes the lien on fixed deposit only if customer has not made the payment for more than 90 days. Calls and reminders are also sent for making the payment to the customer. Only when after all this follow up, customer has not made the payment then only outstanding amount is deducted from one's fixed deposit. Such cards are a good way to utilize 80-90% of your FD money which is dead beat considering its frozen and earning interest. Same money can be used on card for making routine/specific/online/offline purchases where customer gets a payment window of max 50 days and minimum 20 days to make the payment.

                    State Bank of India — transaction failure through ATM

                    On 22 nd of december i withdrew the amount of 1300 Rs. from SBI ATM located at V.V.S. Shopping Plaza sector 12, vasundhra, Ghaziabad.The above mentioned amount was not delivered to me though it was debited from my account.

                    I have given the all details regarding this matter at my SBI branch Akbarpur (Ambedkar Nagar, U.P.) on 23 rd december but the matter is still unresolved.So you are kindly requested to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

                    Dear Sir,

                    Myself as Jai Prakash Pandey (worked as Production Manager in M/S PARLE PRODUCTS PVT LTD, GAGANPAHAD INDUSTRIAL AREA, HYDERABAD) From March 2008 to December 2008. My account no – [protected] and date of issue is 26.03.08.
                    Currently I am transferred to Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), in M/S PARLE PRODUCTS PVT LTD, (Varanasi) and continuing the same account as usual.

                    Sir on 30.04.09 I gone for money withdrawal in the evening to the nearest ATM centre from my residence (ATM ID-S1AN[protected], TIME 18.56 Pm (in Varanasi, U.P.), but due to power failure suddenly monitor gets shut down and the filled withdrawl amount (Rs.15000/) didn’t come out from the ATM machine, but when I checked the mini statement in the same ATM once it is rectified by the technician (around 1.5 hours later), it is showing a deduction of RS 15000/ from my saving account, which actually I didn’t receive.

                    I am sending the photocopy of my Passbook and the mini-statement.
                    Please take the immediate and necessary action in this regard and credit the same amount (Rs. 15000) at the earliest after the verification.

                    Hi Sir/Mam,

                    With reference A/c #[protected] on my name Harpinder Kaur.I withdrawn Rs. 8, 500 on 01.08.09 at 12.15 am via Canara bank ATM from Dwarka sector -12 show balance not available. That time my total available balance is Rs 13, 784 also I received massage from my cell that I "Debited INR 8, 500 on 01.08.09: Total Avbl. Bal is INR5, 284". I want detail of my all transaction. Kindly send me transaction detail as soon as possible.
                    This is very much disapponited, I already face this problem twice in 3 months. If every time this happens to me than i would like to withdraw my Account from your bank. I hope to back my money on my account as soon as possible.

                      Madam,

                      I am shocked whenever I received your bank credit card statement during last month claiming annual renewal fees of Rs. 750.00 plus taxes; again I have received this month statement levying late payment charges plus taxes, total dues Rs. 938.52 against the credit card no. [protected] in the name of V Goel, 159A, Pocket-F Mayur Vihar, Phase-ii, Delhi-110091(My Residence)

                      I have to mentioned here that I have never hold your bank card viz a viz never used this card for any purchasing.

                      Further you have levied renewal charges without my consent to continue or not, this is a forceful act from your side to give the card to any body without his written or even oral consent.

                      It is imperative to mentioned here that I am holding two cards one with citi bank and another with ICICI Bank since last 8-10 years regularly but I have never defaulted any payment against these cards or even never delayed for single payment of the cards.

                      In last I may request both of you, to cancel this cards and delete all unjustified dues against me and also communicate me at the earliest because your act is totally unlawful, unjustified and conceive.

                      In case, affirmative action not taken by you, then I shall be force to take legal action against you as well as your bank before the court of law/ consumer court and RBI.

                      File a case in banking ombudsmen against sbi, and a defamation suite in courts and demand compensation for mental harassment and don't forget to add criminal conspiracy by sbi against you for extortion of money by unlawful tactics.

                      This you can do only if you do not hold sbi credit card

                        MYSELF ABHISHEK CHATTERJEE AND I WANT TO INFORM YOU THAT I AM REPEATEDLY HARASSED BY SBI CREDIT CARDS PEOPLE OVER PHONE.I HAVE CANCELLED THE CARD 4 YEARS AGO AND STILL THEY ARE ASKING ME TO PAY SOME REMAINING BALANCE WHICH I HAVE NEVER USED.
                        NEITHER ARE THEY ABLE TO GIVE ME ANY STATEMENT.I STAY OUTSIDE AND THEY ARE REPEATEDLY HARASSING MY OLD PARENTS AND INSPITE OF GIVING MY NUMBER TO THEM,EVERYTIME NEW PEOPLE CALL AND USE ABUSIVE LANGUAGES TO MY PARENTS.

                          Dear Sir,

                          One of GESBI sales representative contacted me in the 1st week of august 2010 to opt-in for SBI Credit card.

                          I am working as a Project Manager in a MNC Company located in Ahmedabad. As per this sales representative, GE SBI has selected my company to give SBI Credit Card with 1st year credit card charges waived off to the managers having salary more that 60k. And if, I spend more that 50,0000 /- in first year then 2nd year fee will also be waived off.

                          And as per this sales representative, I am fulfilling all requirements to get the GESBI Credit card with 1st year credit card fee waived off. I have submitted all asked documents to this person. Since 1 month, I haven't heard anything for my application. I contact the GESBI Credit card support no with the form #. I came to know that my application was not submitted. And then I have started to follow up this sales representative. And then my application was submitted.

                          In this week, I received the Credit card along with credit card yearly charges bill (Approx. Rs 600). I received bill first and then credit card. I tried to contact support. They give me ExpressIT support no and currier no. I tried to contact appox 15 times to ExpressIT. I never get success. And each call charged me STD charges for waiting on IVR to talk with support guy.

                          Now, I have 2 options
                          1) To cancel this credit card
                          2) To waive off credit card charges as GESBI sales representative told me. I contacted to the same sales representative to understand the same. He asked me to give CC # (mentioned on bill) He will request to waived off my credit card charges as he told while I opt-in. I provided my CC no and then he was in touch for 3 days. Now, he is not picking up my phone calls.

                          I had another bad experience with GESBI. I had applied approx. 1 year back. I had never communicated for my application rejection. Now, I have doubt that my application were submitted by that sales representative or not.

                          I am also using Credit Card of other bank. I never had such bad experience. Now, I have big ? for GESBI sales representative who provide wrong information to get the business. And I hope you understand that it will spoil the credibility of this company.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am one of the customers of the Bank. I was supposed to drop a cheque at the Drop Box at the ATM. when I went to one of the ATM near Perambur Ryl Stn there is no such facility and I went to near by SBI Bank ATM there is also no such facility. Immediately I went to the bank itself. There one of the staff told not to drop the cheque before office timings and we are cleaning so don't drop the cheque. I went to my office near Manali. There Drop Box available (chinna Mathur near Kalyana Mandapam 2nd Main Road) but the security told that we don't have key to open. so I gone back. After that I went to ATM which is near my House, (Korattur near Post Box Bus Stand) there also the same story. So If this is the condition of the Bank How can I refer your bank? Take immediate action.

                              On 15 th August I used SBI ATM Turner Road, clement Town , Dehradun to withdraw Rs.1000=00 using HDFC Debit Card two times and found the display on computer as YOUR TRANSECTION IS COMPLETE. I did not get money as well as the slip.
                              The complaint lodged to the HDFC Bank and the bank received the documents from SBI as the transection is valid. I approached again the HDFC Bank to get the vedio cliping which I have not yet received.

                              Kindly suggest.

                                    i m an account holder of sbi chawani br kota.my a/c no is [protected]. in sep 2010, the final balance is being shown all wrong .on[protected], i simply checked my balance in icici atm at ucil colony turamdih sundernagar tatanagar jharkhand and did not withdraw any amt , but they say rs 3500 /_ withdrawn. i have the atm slip with me. the respective complaint lodged vide no at [protected] on[protected] but they say it would take time.

                                    this is a great harassment to me , i m an average earner n require money badly for my children .

                                    the officials are not only corrupt but cruel, too.

                                    pl help me sir.

                                      We are working with SBI Corporate center as a Management Trainee. We got Campus Placement.
                                      All the employees who are permanent Staff are treating us a Peon, They are using nonprofessional language with th female employee, when we opposed they say you people are just a peon for us
                                      If we need a cup of water if we say to peon then peon replies Jaa kar khud le lo, main thumare baap ka nauker nahi hu...

                                      Please Save us.....

                                        I Capt Sanjay Patyal have a a/c with SBI, Mandi Branch, Himachal Pradesh (A/C : [protected]). On 06th of Sep 2010 I used my ATM card (connected with above mentioned A/C no.) , at the ATM MACHINE which is located inside the AEC CEntre campus, pachmarhi, MP. I was trying to withdraw Rs 2000/- , but when the request was being processed, the current went off, and everything stopped at the same time, and cash did not come out of ATM MACHINE. Soon I went to another nearby ATM and took out a mini statement. But, mini statement showed deduction of Rs 2000/-. I reported the matter to the SBI branch manager next day and also lodged a complaint regarding that. I had sent one photocopy of this complaint to my SBI branch at Mandi. now today it is 28th of Sep 2010, but no action has been taken from either of the banks. And wenever i speak to these bank people they sey that they are helpless, and cannot do anything.
                                        I feel it is somthing which is not right.
                                        please help me regarding this issue.
