[Resolved]  School Of Open Learning Delhi University — Degree doesn't issued to me

Dear Sir, Good Afternoon

My name is Jitender Kumar, s/o Shri Dharampal Singh Residing A- 130, Main 25ft. Road, East Gokalpur, Meet Nagar, Delhi-94.

Sir, I've done graduation (B.A. pass) in 2007 by Delhi University. My SOL NO. is[protected] and Degree Roll No. is 9269288.
I want say that The Degree is not issued to me by University Management while The Assistant Registrar Dr. O.P. Sharma told me that Your Degree Send to you on 8th October 2010 by speed post. As a proof a photocopy given to me of this speed post series by University Management Its speed post No. is ED[protected]IN, but when I tried internet to know about particular of my speed post data, there were no any entry registered into. I'm totally confused that what I do? I couldn't get my degree till days on same day 16 July 2011.
Sir, I hereby requested to you that please take some action in this matter, from which I can get my degree.

Hi Sir,

This is true in my case also. I have done Bcom (Pass) from SOL in the year 2007 and still waiting for my degree. Infact I did MBA after that and have got the degree for it . Also, the people sitting on the counters are very rude . They rarely answer to our quereies and behave in a very unfriendly manner. I studied and reside in South Delhi but for degree I have visited North Campus twice but did not get a very positive answer from them.Still waiting for the same. Would request you to please intervene in the same and get the degrees released on time atleast within 2 yrs of completion otherwise there is hardly any use of it .

I am also very disappointed with the same case. I did my graduation from SOL in the year 2009. They said that they posted my degree on 02/14/2012 which i still didn't get it.They said it was not returned as well and also never delivered to me. I was given the speed post id for which i searched in net which gives no search found response every time i entered this ID.I was told to go to the nearest post office for further inquiry, I went to 3 to 4 post offices near by and no search found as per post officers. What am I supposed to do in such cases.Why certificates are not kept with the university. What if it gets lost. My friends studied from delhi university like hansraj college and after 5 years she went there and got it so easily. Why we have to suffer so much for just short span after the graduation. What am i suppose to do now. This certificate means a lot for me and for every students. Why it is handled so poorly? The people at counter are not there for help but to jump on next student who is standing in the queue so as to lessen the queue as fast as possible without ever realising how does it feel to stand in a queue and when your times comes they just give us a single one liner, which serves no purpose.

I know if i place my problem here you can help me better. Please do the needful and kindly look into this matter as fast as possible because i know there are lot many like me who have suffered and who will suffer in future.

Hi Sir,

I am Rahul Chhabra, SOL Roll No[protected] wanted to complain that this year i have given my all BA Prog - III exam papers and was not absent in any of the papers.

After checking the results for B.A. Prog - III, i can see one ER in C 119 paper due to absentism but i was not absent and gave my exam and it was very good paper

Request you to kindly check my paper again as it spoiled my result and my exam center was at 131068 GOVT Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya Bankner Narela, Delhi - 110040, Exam roll no 6625690

Above all issues are true, SOL failed aleast in one paper for maximum student due to student paid fee for again examination. I think it is buniess trade of SOL, if student give better paper then they failed. if student pass degree in six year, how can so his degree and apply for any good organisation. They play with student carrer. Maximum staff are very rude and not proper listen of student query.

I am Purnima, I have also face the same problem, I have complete my graduation B.Com (Pass) in year 2001. Till today (27th april 2013) I did not get my degree. Many times i have visited south campus as well north campus no one is there to give you proper response.

Kindly look into these matters on priority, Why this is happening with degrees.

Hi All,

This is not new with SOL. I have completed my Graduation from Open Learning Delhi University. However, I never got my degree from them and when I visited SOL Office the first thing they said me that "Abhi Tak so rahe the". I was out of india and I came back last month and now I searched and found I don't have my degree with me so I visited SOL Office and they told me that the Degree is already posted and if you did not get it, It is not our fault, now you have to request for a duplicate certificate and Pay Rs 600/-. Paying Rs 600/- is not a problem, but my question is why should I pay when i did not got at the first Place, And there should be a system where the person should be informed via email or phone that your degree is posted via speed post and this is enquiry number and you can contact on this number if you did not get a response within this period of time. This is just playing with Student's carrier. Please advise me what is the next step I could take in order to get my Degree certificate.

hey friend go to online RTI website if your complaint is not answered and not resolved. Online RTI is useful to get response from these colleges go to online RTI website and ask question, complaints and problems .Now uninversity of delhi is online under Online RTI website and you can file RTI online the .The University of delhi is public authority under department of higher education and you can file RTI from your any debit card at RS 10 if you don't now how to file RTI you can go to you tube videos and search about how to file RTI offline and Online .also to be noted that the school of open learning comes under university of delhi and if you file RTI online to university delhi about school of open learning they transfer your question to school of open learning so my friend this is very great now you can get response and your complaint get resolved from RTI so go for RTI and please tell others about RTI.
