Smart Card issue.
The southern railways has introduced ATVM(Automatic ticket Vending Machines) based on Smart Card technology for suburban tickets in chennai.
Its very useful to get tickets in a fraction of second than waiting in long haul queues. Railway smart card is very useful and it very important in this modern life. But if smart card is not working or not sensing in the ATVM machines, we are struggling lot to change the smartcard. I have one smart card with the balance of around Rs 100/- The card was not working and I am trying change the card for more than 3 times waiting in long haul queue in Trivellore Railway station. But still I am able to get the new card. Each time I am getting the same message from booking staff that ‘Booking officer is not available’.
Kindly take action against the booking officer and help me to get the new card with the previous balance. My old Smart card Number is SR 0023424.
