I'm Porko. Residing at Marai malai nagar. I used to travel to my office using suburban train. Since my wife's office is also located near my office, we both used to travel on the same train. This incident (Eve teasing) by an railway employee happened on Apr,02, 2013. An railway employee was travelling on the same train and staring at my wife for a very long time. When he was asked, he brutally says some words which can't be entered here. All the railway union employees travelling on the same train was supporting him and was trying to defend him...I'm not sure whether the train is only meant for railway employees and they can do anything incluing eve teasing...and which should not be questioned. Is this the situation for a women in tamil nadu to hear all these bloody stuffs and keep quiet and travel in train??? I'm posting this to make others aware of our hectic situation..Thanks.

    Dear Sir
    I have been issued a two wheeler parking pass at the Power house gate of Trivandrum Central Railway station and I have been renewing it on a monthly basis and using it for the last two years. But this month the new contractor denied to renew the pass. First week he said that the pass distribution will start by week 2 only. On 2nd week he told that the passes,are distributed and nothing is left out and will try next month. I feel that he is cheating us by providing the pass to only few to whom he favours and trying to make good amount of money out of it. Kindly help me renew the pass.

    i am resident of prem nagar iwant to compaint that parking providers of sadar bazar do not provides the entries to cyclists and do not make any passes for them and they must provide toilet rooms but cant be accesed

      My Reference number is 771278. I am working in railways (ICF). I was a member of Southern railway employees co-operative credit society at Chennai-3. I have requested the society to close my account due to my personal problems by the year 2011. As per the extender procedures, my account has been closed in 2012 and settlement was made. But in that settlement, one month membership contribution was not included and Dividend for the year 2011-12 also not given. kindly arrange to settle the pending amount please.

      SIR, my father is a railway employee, and he is going to retire on 31th may 2013... he is not with us he also having illegel affair with a lady... the lady also railway employee... i was here that the lady giving guidelines to get the settlement without my mother and my mother didn't sign in the PPO book... i dont know how to stop this kind of things and also they are planning to get the CO-OP socity share amount also please tell me me how to stop this Sir, this is my humble request who are seeing this post suggest me please...

        Hi Sir,
        I am travelling in local trains(Chennai Central to Arakonam Route) regularly for more than 2 years.Now-a-days there is lack of facilities inside the train.Lack of Cleanliness,Lack of Power Supply in the trains due to which fans and lights are not working and the trains looks untidy even outside and inside.Sometimes the train drivers forgets to switch on the power supply also due to which more suffocating problems arises in the crowd.Many fans in the local railways does not work at all due to which mental problems occurs. I Kindly request you to sort out those problems and provide us a good working railways

          One month back I have purchased a Railway Time Table from Srirangam Railway Station.
          When I went through the same the same for searching the train It is found that 16 pages from page no 57 to 62
          is missing . When approached the Srirangam Railway station they simply said that we have received all the books like this and we can not replace the same and added that you have to verify all the pages before leaving the counter.

          But it is clear from their statement that they are well aware of the fact and and known on that they are selling the same and putting the blame to the buyers.

          Kindly help to solve the same

            Im Syed KajaMohideen B , my friend travel today afternoon by Train from Trichy ( TPJ ) to Maiyalduthurai @ 1.00PM , he purchased the vada inside the train on that vada he identified a " peace of nile " . He shocked on that spot his age is nearly 30 so he identified easily , if suppose any kids taken that vada definitely some problem will come.

            Sirs / Madam , Kindly check the food preparation department before dispatch to peoples . Food is more important Kindly check and do needful..

              Sir, This is C.Ravi from Nellore i was travel from Secunderabad to Nellore in Train No.12760, Charminar
              Express , 26.08.2012 with my family members my reservation ticket PNR No.[protected], and bearth No.S5-17,LB and my wife PNR No.[protected] and bearth No.S5-1,LB now in complaince that i am unable to travel from Secunderabad to Nellore becasue of the Toilets when i was went to the Bathroom in my compartment that is too worst to see and use and same way the toilet door is also not working properly when i was in the bathroom the aldrop is also (Lock) not working some ladies are entered in to the toilet when i was sitting in the toilet that time i feel very shy this is very bad condtion of railway board, the concerned persons are not taking necessary acction if suppose in my place you think any women is it corrct or not you think like me and as a indian this is very negligency of attched the old compartments (not working) and taps are leaked the water is fully leaked no body is taking carrefully about like this coaches . the was stagnet at shink in the proper bathrooms when i was in toilet.
              Now i am requesting you please the railway department don't put like this coaches in future for like me passengers
              and also i am requesting you take proper necessary action concerned staff whom are cleaning the toilets the persons are intimated to concerned officer and immediatly change the Bathroom doors and Taps
              like This is was happend for our Indians, nobody will accept this as a human being and this is not good for us to travel from any where
              please try to understand what i was written and take necessary action give me reply for this i[censored] r an Indian.

                I am a regular traveller of Venad Express and Parasuram Express. I travel from Ernakulam to Chengannur on weekends and return on Mondays. Invariably I travel with reservation in the Second Class D1 coach. However, I am really at loss of words for the casual and inconsiderate attitude of the Railways.
                2. There is no marking that D1 coach is a reserved coach and people enter it at will. Most of the time, the coach is too much crowded and one has to fight with people claiming one's reserved seat. There is no checking by the TTEs as they prefer not to inconvenience themselves. I do not wish to comment on the cockroaches and the cleanliness of coaches which are far from satisfactory.
                3. Can there not be a decent reservation compartment like Jan Shatabdi? Can there not be proper marking and barring entry o[censored]nreserved passengers? Can there not be proper checking by the TTEs , RPF etc.? Can there not be surprise visits by the DRM or other senior officers to ascertain the state of affairs? Railways are only taking money and are least bothered about extending quality services to the public. They are waiting for public to get violent or judiciary to instruct. Absolutely poor governance.

                  I am a regular commuter of MRTS between Taramani and Chennai Beach rly. stations. Recently the vehicle parking area at Taramani has been shifted from its original place to near by the station. There is no proper parking place there. More over, the approach road to the station is completely damaged with lot of potholes and water stagnation due to the rain. Vehicle users, especially bikers facing lot of difficulties while riding (day and night). In addtion to this, there is no proper lighting on the road. I request the railway authorities to shift back the parking area to its original place atleast till the end of the rainy season. Hope you will take nacessary action immediately......T.Sunil Kumar, Thoraipakkam.

                    Ignored first class in tirupathur Exp

                    We are the commuter from tiruvallur to chennai.
                    It was shocking that without any prior intimation the existing first class coach in tirupathur express was removed and no alternative coach was provided.
                    While informing to the station authorities a sticker with F1 Was placed at a last miniute. Since a General coach was converted into Firstclass and the compartment was already occupied with second class holder all the firstclass holder were traveled by standing.
                    Even worst from 16-08-12 a unreserved comprtment was converted into First class.Pl see attached photos, for your reference. There is no proper ticket checking & identification mark in the alloted compartment both inside and outside for the people to understand which class is that particular compartment.

                      I travel between Velachery & Chennai Beach in the morning and in the reverse direction in the evening. After the recent train timing changes , the departure timing from Velachery is 7:55 AM , 8:10 AM , 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM. The peak crowd has to board one these trains which includes employees of non-government offices, school students & teachers, College students & teachers. There is a train once in 15 minutes and there is a gap of 20 minutes between the 8:10 AM train and 8:30 AM train. All the school students board the 8:30 AM train and this train becomes overcrowded and till Mylapore it is overcrowded especially in the ladies compartments. Since most of the passengers are children it may lead to minor / major accidents to entrain / detrain a crowded train. Please try to do consider one of the following suggestions (a) Introduce a train at 8:20 AM (b) arrange the 8:30 train with 9 carriages so that it can accomodate more crowd.

                        I am a senior citizen, i had booked a ticket to my hometown recently online, after filling all the details,when i saw the final sheet ,i had got the upper birth,being a senior citizen its very difficult for us to occupy the upper birth.This has happened many times.
                        There should be some provision for Senior citizens so that we get only lower birth else the ticket should not be booked.
                        Its my humble request on behalf of all Senior Citizens.

                          lots of problems happen in train and no trace of authorities in my years of train journey, you cannot spot a single police in any station to talk to, the stations facilities are used maximum by beggars and no body to question, you can see few people permanently settled on platforms at the ends of the station, with kids begging and throwing a mess, dog menace is at the peak and cannot stand at ticket counters due to dogs lying down and it makes giir noise when you go near it, all toilets are beyond usable condition even the pay and use ones...and not to mention the crowded train which has not been cleaned for ages and its become a business place for beggars and small time vendors not to mention the differently gendered people, its practically hell inside train where one has to travel with 60% of people who have no tickets with them and jump out from back door once stations arrive, no trace of authorities to fine them at all, once in a year or two the checkers come and people pay fine normally rs.100 which they readily keep as fine money if caught, what a system, good amenities and facilities in the hands of wrong administration, they are unable to manage this poor guys find a better system that works...buying a ticket at station in another hell with 5-6 queue's each 50 meters long ... in b'lore city station... so sad... employ more contract staff to man stations and compartments... instead to paying handsome to a few... take help from IIT's and consultants and NGO's if you cannot arrive at a solution... all the above is resulting in crimes....

                            I was travelling with my family in a train 16702 on 27 june 2012 from Karaikudi to Melmaruvathur by reserving the tickets. I was having confirmed tickets. Coach : S6 seats 35,40,48. But when I get enter in to train at karaikudi, my seats 40, 48 were occupied by someothers. When I told them abt my resrvation, they were refusing to vacate by quoting that they have been alloted that seat 39 & 47 in RAC. Two peoples were alloted in 39 & 47 and they are not allowing us to sit. They were asking us to go for the berth directly. I have to sit until 10pm. where can i sit? I could not understand why railway issuing resrved tickets and creating discomfort to the passengers.Myself and my wife was standing upto 9.30 pm until TTR comes and he is also asking us to sit 3 people in side lower by adjusting. Really I was wodering how the railway dept is asking a passenger to adjust by exploiting their money? Really it is not correct. I am expecting the clarifications from railway.

                              I observe that the Southern Railway stations particularly in and around Chennai is not been maintained properly with no proper seatings, sign-boards, unclean platforms, tracks very unhygenic and the trains not cleaned regularly.
                              I have generally seen these are well maintained in South Central Railway where maintenance has been outsourced to private agency. Why can't the SR do the same ?

                              Please bring back the glory of SR as well maintained Railway zone in India

                              Kottaiyur Railway Station(KTYR)is not been maintained properly.Station master not giving respect to the passengers and station master not announcing about the delay train or cancelled train.by this my father lost 200 rupees.so please take severe action on him.

                                IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR OF THE TICKET COUNTER STAFF

                                I am the regular user of the railway from Coimbatore Junction to Tiruppur for that purpose I am buying a monthly season ticket of Rs.190 but to-day (09.04.2012) at 09.15 hrswhen I was approaching the counter by standing in the queue for about 10 minitues and behind me is just 2 persons, the ticket issuing lady staff at the Counter No. 4 without name badge on her told me to come after 10 am for season ticket as it is not possible to issue...

                                I usually travel during week ends to chennai from bangalore. I am residing in Mylapore. So, I usually catch a MRTS train from Park Town Station. When ever, I am trying to get the ticket from the counter in Park Town Railway Station, they asks for change. Even though the ticket cost is Rs.5 the person asks for the change. Every time I give him change regularly. Last week when I travelled to chennai, I didn't have the change and I gave him Rs.10 currency note. For that, he used abusive words and slangs and said that he don't have change at all. He asked me to wait till he receives change. So, I waited for some time. And after some time he throwed me the balance Rs.5 from his drawer(which is already existing when I asked for the change for the first time) and used abusive words for it. Since the person is very old(around 60-65), I can't argue with him. I am writing this mail with pain hearted. Can this forum take severe action against these kind o[censored]seless ppl in Government offices.

                                Thank you once again...The issue was reported to the above mail address and considered as severe.
                                The Chennai MRTS is getting crowded everyday. The number of people using this service is ever increasing. Requesting to make all 6-car trains to 9-car trains. This will ease the crowd before someone dies.
                                Also, the MRTS stations are very dirty and stinks all the time. There are stray dogs which may get violent sometimes. In the issue of public safety and hygiene the officials must take the responsibility to have the stations cleaned regularly and make it safer.

                                  I have travelled on 6th of January 2012 in Brindavan express (train no. 12640) from Banglore to Chennai in Coach C2, seat no 46 & 47. Which is a AC Chair Car , I found hundreds of cockroaches, throughout the compartment. I hope it is Indian railways duty to clear all the insects in the compartment. May i request you to kindly do the needful to keep the all indian railways comparments neat and clean. Provide the passengers a comfortable journey.

                                  I live In Chennai, the region of Southern Railways. There was a huge train accident which occurred 9 months ago at Vyasarpadi jiva railway station...but even now the damaged train is still lying near the railway track without any removal action. I saw few tourists taking photos of the damaged trail lying near the track and passing comments on the poor maintenance of our railway department. I was really ashamed of that... Being a true India this is my first step to rectify our mistake by escalating this situation to all of your notice. Its in to your hands now to be a good Indian.... pls...do the needful action to get that damaged train removed from Vyasarpadi Jiva station.....
                                  thats called india because the head of the department are busy with politics and they are running from their moral responsibility
                                  I agree with worst maintenance of coaches in south bound trains which I had experienced in a short span of one week now. I really wonder how a government department can function so irresponsibly. Shame on them

                                    I am a frequently travelling person in Train from chennai to coimbatore & vice-versa.I like to share My disguisting experience in South to North Trains like Raptisagar & Guwahati Express etc.Once i booked a ticket in Guwahati Express from coimbatore to chennai and i am waiting with my mom at 11pm in station.I Really shocked to see that the reservation compartment was fully occupied & the persons are standing over the foot board.Not even a space to have a breath.With no other option i get in to the train & none of the guys have a reservation ticket they all r open ticket persons & my birth seat was occupied by 5 persons.Even if I show my tickets they are not responding to move away.I complaint to the TTR who came there in between the dense crowds with much difficulty to check our tickets is reserved or not? Doesnt it look like a shame? But the TTR ask us to adjust.Y this partiality between southern & north trains.I am complaining this in behalf of all the passengers who had this experience.So please take necessary actions to solve this Issue.

                                      I traveled from Chengalpattu to Trichy along with my wife j. sulochana, daughter j.malarvizhi, son j.arul on 26/12/2011 by T.No. 16127. The travelling ticket was booked thro` TATKAL system. During travel, the chief ticket inspector asked me to show the original voter ID card but i show the photocopy of that one. It was rejected and then i show my wife`s voter ID card photocopy but was rejected. He insisted me to show the original voter ID of mine which is printed on the travelling ticket. I explained him that as a senior citizen I am not in position to carry any original documents as there is chance to lost it or may be theft. But all are rejected and he told me to pay the fine of 1960/- or otherwise face the criminal action at the railway court at some station after the Villupuram junction.
                                      We are travelling in emergency to trichy and to be return to kanchipuram immediately. So I am compelled to pay the fine of 1960/- without doing any wrong. Please do needful action to make the refund of the penalty amount.
