HI This is Madhu,
I got Duplicate note of 500 from ATM which located in opposite Lalbanglow at HYD, I Face lot of problem due to This, for whom i complaint this .

no body having any responcibility even in banks i had drawn 1000 from sbi atm and i had deposited in my personal account in same bank they dint accepted the note
and they tored it they are telling we are not responcible for it if i talk to manager he scolded me he told me he wil call police i list my 1000 rupees no body having responcible for that to whom we should we ask i had the chart slip of what amount drawn from the atm i can put a case on that bank

yes i have seen 3 duplicates notes of 500 with my colleague. Unfortunately he recieved them from sbi atm. i would like to ask prakash that the listed serial numbers are only this. Thank you for listing them.

I have one more question "did rbi released any list of serial no.s for duplicate notes.? Please reply because every one do need this info.. :)

Today on 13.10.09 I withrow money from SBI atm (hazrat ganj main branch lucknow) and later I found that my one note of rs 1000 is duplicate what should I do.

I think lot of people are facing this problem.

I am surprised that SBI is not aware for that. some step should be taken for that.
