Sir/Madam,
I have a PPF Account with State Bank of India, AE Market Branch, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 064. In September, 2007 I have Deposited Rs. 25, 000.00 (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only in my PPF Account by a cheque. After a year later I found that there was no deposit in my PPF Account. So when I made contact with the official, he handed me over an invalid (1 year back dated) Bankers' Cheque. Therefore I could not deposit that in my account. After this incedence I wrote TWO letter to SBI, AE Market Branch and SBI Regional Office Kolkata. Till today, i.e., 9th January, 2009, I did not receive any payment from SBI. In this situation I am feeling insecure for my money.
Now, I want to get refund my principal amount and interest amount which I have lost due to neglegency. Also I want to get compensession for this harrashment.

I have submitted the documents to Aparna Neogi who is the employee of SBI Bank (AE Market Branch) on 12.06.10 for I will purchase a flat(all the the documents which need for a loan) and she gave her Mobile-[protected] which is not-available for every day. Than I called to SBI Bank[protected] directly one person received my and he asked me who am I. I told you pls this call forward to Aparna Neogi for the purpose of loan he just get down the phone for near about 15 minute. So that this is the service of SBI Bank

    Credit Card — UNABLE TO ENCASH REWARD POINTS

    Dear Sir.Madam,

    I am using the SCB Gold card for few years. However for last 1 year I am facing various difficulties due to bad response and service on the bank's part.
    1) I have accumulated reward pints against my purchases as per the card schemes. However even after passage of about 6 months I was not given the gtft voucher against the points, which I have requested to their help line number. Also I send message to their emergency number and their senior officer talked to me and said that same will be send within 7 days and now it is about 2 months passed. I do not what is their problem? Now I amfed up and not calling any further. I request that the bank should send me thje gift voucher due to me.
    2) Also had to call many time to them regarding their cancellation of the gold card and issuing a upgraded card which was not delivered to me for about 4 to 5 months. Everytime their executives have lied to me that no body was their in my home and the card was returned.
    3) I had to suffer due to their wrong billing a full amount in place of interest free EMI option as per the advertisemen and the merchandise.

    Hope the bank will see reason to sort out.

    Your Toll Free no. don't give any access. Thru internet also there in no access procedure. This is very poor service from sbi card. I want simple procedure. Help me out so that simply i can redeem my point. Otherwise I will cancel my credit card and report to the Consumer Forum for harassing the customer.

    Regarding SBI credit Card reward point

    I also agree with Mr.Bahadur. There is no procedure or response from the website of SBI.
    It is written in Statement that the reward point will be forefeited, but till now nothing has been done.
    So, do work on it and tell me also a simple procedure to redeem my points orelse i will also complain to consumer forum.

    actually, my reward points of abt 5000 got lapsed as i was not able to redeem it, now i have earned abt
    3000 points and i am not able to get any gift or redeem it .. i am not able to get any access through internet or over phone..
    i would like to suggest that a phamplet leaf stating the various gifts that can be obtained for redeeming
    the reward points may be attached with the statement sent to the customers.

    Credit Card — reward points - omission

    i am a credit card holder. my card expired in March 2009. It was renewed up to 2013. While sending the new card, all the reward points earned 4p tp 2009 have been deleted or reset to zero. It is unfair and i request you to reset to the original value.

    SBI Cards Reward redeeming is absolutely b***s*** process. I reckon it's a way to con the poor clients. There has been no help from them, neither online, nor on telephone. More than that, the bloody website is so sleazy and slow, you can damned wait all day long for it to load a single page. Pathetic performance by the Fat Duck.

    i have 5623 points in my card.i think today is the last day.i tried to contact thro the toll free as well as the other number, but i am not able to get any information regarding redemption.even sbicard site cannot be opened so that i can just go thro the various items available for my points.ofcourse last time i could easily redeem my points over phone.probably if i am able to open yr site tomorrow i can talk to yr people to send me the items for my points.why cant u allow yr card holders to redeem the points in petrol bunks/indane gas outlets?

    Iam not at all happy in redemption of points on my SBI card.Without redemption, due to complicated procedure my points are lapsed.Webare able to redeem the points in cards like BOB cards are
    adjusted immediately on account of the message received from the card holder and adjusted in their subsequent bill.this means that it is adjusted as cash., which is so simple.Please do follow the same sysytem.We need not go to any shop or search for the gift in online.

    With the credit card Reedem points i have, i have ordered a gift item with suffient amount of points.At the time of requesting(21st of sept) for the gift, i was informed that i might recieve my gift by 29th of sept.

    i am constantly called by sbi bank tel.no.+[protected] for some Mr.pankaj dutt on my mobile no. for last 2 months 4 to 5 times in a day i am situated in mumbai.
    after repeated informing that this no. doesnot belong to mr.pankaj dutt & the same no. is with me for last 10 years they are constantly harrassing me by calling me at any wee hours & 7 days a week.

    I am not able to redeem my points and whenever we asked about it it is mentioned that contact at web site it also not have proper guidlines.
    And when we redeem it we dont know . whart are the article and no catlaogue is available .So please giode properly to the customer. Other wise "cust cust karte hamto mar jayege aur hamare points koi aur kha jayega"

    Very poor on redemption of power points which ultimately get expired.
    No response on helpline for such redemption. The site also doesn't give any conclusive system for redeeming power point.
    I also agree with the comments of the other SBT Credit Card Holders. In most cases my reward points got lapsed. Now I am having more than 14000 points and 31st May is the last date. I have been trying to reach [protected] for the last 15 days and I am unable to get through. There is also no way to get through mail as there is no mail address for this purpose. Now I have to stop using SBI Credit Card as the service is very poor. I suggest others also should stop using this Card if they are thinking of rewards.

    I do agree that SBI provides no proper service for redemption of point. Very bad service. No proper site provided to see the details of my reward points. We all can find the complaint list is becoming lengthy but you people are taking no steps to solve this problem . This part of yours is ridiculous.

    This is to be informing you that I Mr Om prakash jaiswal.was Credit Card Holder of your S.B.I Credit service and my credit no and a/c no which is mentioned is above.

    On 9/9/03 a S.B.I card statement was send by you through courier.
    In statement it was showing that my total amt due is 14155.76 till DT: 27.8.03.
    On 19/09/03 a phone call was made by your S.B.I cards service which they have inform me that I have a due in my credit card & I tell them that at present I cannot make the payment to you because in my business I had a huge loss and then tell me that they will exempt all the additional charge except the due. Then I make the payment. The details are given below:

    When I made the 3rd payment on 14.01.04 along with the cheque attached a cancel application of credit, destroyed my credit card into pieces in envelop and drop into the S.B.I credit card drop box.

    After that I call in S.B.I cards helpline and inform them that I have clear my all dues which you have raised against me.

    Again on 26/08/05 a letter was send by S.B.I credit card service through a court notice Ref no: SBI/CAL/ CASH CARD/ CONC/LOT-12/236 issued by Kholi & Sobti (Advocates & Solicitors) claim by your agent Mr Rajesh Prasad as a conciliator for an amicable settlement.

    In the notice they have mentioned that sir in you’re a/c there is over due a sum of Rs 16560.80 dt 26/08/05 and you have to come on 11/09/05 between 10am to 5.00pm near 33 Tollygung Circular Road Sitel Sadan Building ground Floor Near Rain barati Service station (petrol Pump) Cal-53.
    There was a huge crowd and long line along with them they were standing with local police and gunda.
    When our number came then the agent look into the system and inform that by mistakely we have issue this notice and we are extremely sorry to interrupting to you and you have no due to paid your all due over dues all are clear.

    Again on 10/02/12 a letter is issued by Leagum associates for settlement through S.B.I Cards officer Mr. Asim Sinha that your total over due is Rs 1, 22, 733.39/-

    First of all I cannot understand that what is the purpose for sending me this letter because when my credit limit is Rs.25000 how the due would be Rs.1, 22, 733.39/-

    Secondly, your staff and employee are not permanent they all work here for short period because if they work actively then you wouldn’t issue the notice by Leagum Associates.

    Thirdly when I have destroyed my credit card then how can the amount would be Rs.1, 22, 733.39/-

    Fourthly, when my dues and over dues all are cleared then why won’t you issue me a declaration and surrender certificate mentioning that my all dues and overdues all are clear and you have surrender your credit card.

    Fifthly, they are not sending me my credit card statement.

    I hope that by reading this application you will do the need full and considered my application.

    I hold a SBI credit card and sometime back asked for vouchers against my reward points. i used some of them and kept it for later use. In the mean time whaen i decided to use the rest, i was told by the merchant that it has lost its validity (of six months normally offered) and can not be used. I requested bank to reissue me the fresh vouchers. They denied to re-issue the same. according to them i lost those reward points since i did not use them within validity period. I am of the opinion that not using the vouchers with in validity time does not mean oerson looses the reward points that he earned. i think bank should re issue them with some charges.

    Can this matter be resolved and how.
    I agree with the above-written complaints of the consumers from the core of my heart. Perhaps your silent attitude might be discouraging the consumers to redeem their reward points.

    I have a creditcard of SBI spicejet card with points 5000 expiring on oct 31St ! Kindly guide and help me for the same redemption for the card . The offer says 500 /-ruppess off on purchase of any airline ticket . its extreemely insane to leave 5000 points. Please add some deals to the card.. Or cancel it.     hy, me is Rehanuddin Shaikh and i am holding an SBI Platinum Credit Card for 18th Jan, 13 my card billing Cycle is of 13th of every month.
    when i have applied for this card i was told that i will be charged an INR 3000 per anaum and for the fisrt year i am entitled for a gift voucher of 3000 INR. so after getting this card i waited for an month for that gift voucher and then i calld the Sbi cc [protected] / [protected] on which i had got response that once ill pay my first bill which unkowingly comes to me of 3800 inr of some taxes added for which i have not used any thing then from the date of payment some 21 working days i may suppose to call at some number then by that call within 48hrs tat i will get my gift vouher at my residence address. but that doesn't happen. fist of all yor gift help line number is continusly ringng and automaticly get discnctd by 3min of hold [protected].. and one is been charged again with by his phone operator for 1 inr /min.

    so i called the sbi cc care for same some one from cc care told that they will arange callback by 48 hrs abt same. i did got call for that by within 48 hrs but the prson from sbi gift line who spoke to me made me understand that i will by sure geting that diliverd to my residence by 7 working days of that call but still the days of sbi are not over i belive... and after dis the sbi gift card line operating time is between 9am to 6pm and always the number is ringing and of no response. ... oho ... i rreally appricate such a good service..

    Hi All,

    If you want to redeem your SBI Railway Credit card points, you can do it by clicking the check box "Redemption>" in Plan My Travel window. This check box is between the field "Quota" and "Find Trains" button. Then, in old interface it will show you only '2 Tier A/C' to check availability, however, in new interface it will show all classes of the train. So in new interface you will need to select 2AC and then the Passenger Details page will appear showing the program member's name, age & sex as default value. Here please do NOT forget to enter the "Loyalty No". Loyalty No is nothing but your Shubh Yatra membership number. Later process is easier. Still need help pls call up[protected] IRCTC helpline number. I got the help from them... After all it's not that the whole world is so bad..!! :->
    I am unable to convert my rewards which is around 16000 points which is due from last 3 months how to convert in cash or gift

    u have to get into contact with customer care executive. Yeah their helpline doesnt provide any assistance regarding reward points.
    I just got into menu option 1 and you have to keep answering whatever they ask then in the end u will get connected to the customer care executive. It worked for me . Hope it does for all of you.

    In fact most of the Companies &amp; Banks including SBI are not open and plain in their dealings. No where in the SBI Card they mention about the procedure for redeeming the Reward Points. If we call their Customer Service we will get only voice message. For any offer, if it is beneficial to them, they call us from one number and record our statements and when we have second thoughts we cannot call them back.We will get the message 'check the number you have dialled' or 'the number does not exist' Almost all the companies and Banks indulge in this kind of sharp practice. I am using this phrase because cheating is a stronger word. If we pursue doggedly then they oblige. They make it not easy for the customers to approach them. Like in mythological stories we have to overcome a lot of hurdles to reach them. They do it intentionally with a view to saving their money.

        sir,
        i dropped cheque no.50231 of sbi, anna nagar, chennai-40 dated 18/12/2008 towards credit card bill payment of Rs.1878/-on 18/12/2008 itself and the same was encashed on 20/12/2008. I could not get my passbook updated immediatley.Ever since 21st Dec, I have been repeatedly getting calls from collection agents of sbi credit card asking me to pay the dues immediately.Initially i said i had not updated the passbook. then after 2 days i gave them the cheque no and date. i also told them my account has been debited for the said amount, In spite of all this, till today every day morning at 8 o'clock and again at 6 in the evening i am getting calls, they are not ready to verify the records. like parrots they are repeating the same message, I am sick and tired of them. I request you to stop them from calling me at once. Otherwise i will simply cut the card and drop it in the box. I will not be a sbi subscriber anymore,

        Kindly refer to my A/C NO [protected] and ATM NO.[protected].I received through ATM SBI Ballia 0017 U.P. the amount Rs.3000/-only on withdrawl of Rs.5000/-at 2010Hrs.dt.19/11/2007 and again same time Rs.6500/-on withdrawl of Rs.12000/- and no slip was issued both times thus I lossed Rs.7500/- After me, same time other customers also suffered with their money loss and we lodged this serious complaint to staff on duty.After getting no proper response i issued legal notice whose reply from SBI Ballia 0017 letter No.General/54/72 dt.05/11/08 was given that my withdrawl were sucessful and ok.But how could I withdrawl Rs.17000/-(5000/-+12000/-) on same date while it was restrieted to Rs.15000/-only?           Hi,

          I am using one SBI CC for more than 2 years. The CC no is [protected].

          I paid a UDC charge in Hyderabad Airport on 24/08/2008 of Rs. 375. SBI treat this as a cash withdrawal from ATM and charge me Rs.250. It's reflected in my Sept statement and I called SBI CC on 15/16 Sept. According to SBI CC this is wrongly charge and it will back in the next statement. The complain no is[protected]. As per his suggestion I paid rest of the amount. But in the next statement you didn't do that.

          On 7 October I called your CC again. First time they said that any fees at airport is treated as ATM withdrawal and it is mentioned in the welcome kid. I checked back the welcome kid and nothing found. Again I called your CC then she said this is wrongly charge by us, fax a letter on that to get back the amount.

          I have cancelled my card and paid all amont except that wrongly credited ATM fees. But the SBI credit card keep on sending me bill and charge late fee non payament etc. I dont know how to deal with this people.

          On 7th January 2009 I again called the CC and aske them for clarification. The CC replied that it is a fault of Hyderabad Airport and they swipe you card in a wrong machine. SBI is not responsible for that.

          In the rule of SBI card if a withdraw any amount I have to enter my ATM pin and in this case I never enter any ATM pin. Without entering the ATM pin how a bank charge ATM withdrawal, I have doubt on the security system of SBI also.

          Can any people help me to deal with this people.

          I have send 3 emails to them and didn't get any written reply. The Cse Id is 'CaseID=[protected]' . It is auto generated case id..

          I am a service man in IT company and they Pay me the Salary by ICICI Cheque. And I have my account in SBI. Now whenever I submit my Cheque in the SBI bank they take a charge of Rs. 50. More importantatly I submit my cheque in the same branch in which my Account belongs from.

          I want to know that is it under the right of bank to charge Rs.50? After searching on the NET I found that UBI do not charge.

          Please help me...

                While leaving India in 2007 I called customer care and asked my card balance to pay the balance before leaving, I submited the cheque for the amount told by customer care. After one month of leaving India I again called them to make sure that I do not have any balance to pay them, once again customer care confirmed that there is no balance. approx after an year I visited India and found that I have a balance of approx 4000/RS. when I asked customer care they told that there was a balance of RS 300 on my credit card on which they were applying late fee and Interest and now my balance is 4000, I requested customer care regarding this and asked to wave of the other fee because I was told that there is no balance, but they did not give any, They are still adding interest on my 4000 and one day they will make a good amount by cheating me. I am looking for some online consumer forum who can take action against these kind of fraud.
                Here my open questions are:1) Why I was told twice that I dont have any balance to pay.
                2) Why I was not informed via mail or other comunication channal that I am beeing charged for a fee and interest.
                3)why they did not deactivated my card instead of charging continous fine for more than one year and keeping it active.

                I would like to complaint against SBI Tata Credit Card for Harassment & Torture - being given to wrong person and also on wrong landline number, looking for some Mr. Feroz

                My mom who is 60 plus in age is been told that she will be behind the jail bar & will be punish if she doesnt help them.

                Its really ridiculous if SBI is calling and abusing my mother on telephone. Somebody call Rachna from SBI Tata credit card is harassing my mother.

                I have register the compliant with SBI Tata credit card helpline no. 60008000 on 23.07.2009 at 4.30pm with Mr. Ashish - Manager (Gurgaon) and got a compliant register for the same with Compliant no.[protected]

                Kindly take a serious complaint for the same.

                  I had a complain with SBI for my MF -SBI Blue Chip Fund-D, folio no-6411584, for the dividend,

                  They advice me to give writen letter, to check, given writen complain, and requested call centre to ask some officer to call me to give me proper answer so that i may know about my money. but no one reverted back...

                  I have received a letter from CAMS - saying your dividend paid 3000/- MICR No- S817944 but not given any detail about bank date of encashed,

                  Infact I have never seen MICR No. like. again i complain and again its again i got complain no.[protected] . hope this time some one will call and let me know about my money.

                    Well it is nothing new that old burecarts Government banks will never work like a professional.

                    My Father has a PPF A/c in SBI (Taj Ganj) Agra Branch, & after his death I am trying to get the money from the bank & till now ie almost 2 years has been passed & there is no action has been taken. In this 2 years 3 officer changed and no one is bothered to work on the case.

                    Manager is even worst. I am surprised to see that countries biggest bank has such a bad staff in the bank (equivalent to iilletrate)

                    I would like to urge the bank top management to look in to the case.

                      I, Md.Azamthulla, Retd.Mail Loco Pilot/BZA/S.C.Railway retired from service on 30-11-07 and drawn pension at SBI, Vijayawada and got my pension accout transferred to SBI, Kukatpally(IE) and use to draw my pension but since Nov'08 iam not getting my pension and yet i didnot get my 6th CPC arrears.
                      I had also submitted my 'Life Certificate' on 18-12-08.
                      Even my branch i.e., SBI, Kukatpally(I.E) could not know the reason for delay.

                      Iam a retired Railway employee in July, 2011 on superannjuation. Financial Advisor &Chief Account Officer of South Central Railway, Secunderabad sent my PPO order vide their lettedr No.APN/1/2/6945 dt29/7/11 to SBH, Main Branch, Chittoor District My PPO No is [protected] of 28/07/11. I optioned to draw my pension from SBH of STV Branch, Tirupati of Chittoor District. I was asked to submit "life certificate" and the same was given on 1-10-11 to the STV Branch officials. Now, It is understood that the headoffice wants a "undertaking certificate" without enclosing a format. The said proforma was not available with the branch since it is newly opened and it is very much appreciable had the headquarters officed of SBH enclosing a copy of the format for expedite disposal by way of submitting. On this account, to get my format of "undertaking certificate", I Have to wait for some more time. My request the concern officials to avoid such delay in issue of pension to make the pensioner to get the format to run from pillor to post. I cannot blame the STV branch office of SBH, at Tirupati, since the STV branch is opened only one year back.at Tirupati

                      Take this as a suggestion by HQ /SBH to avoid recurrance of such delay in the case of pensioners. Draw my pension as early as possible with arrears.

                        sir/madam,
                        i recently applied for internet banking for my savings bank account. i got the user ID and password. and it was also working. today i tried to change the login password. when i completed the change of password no page was loaded for 2 mins, so i closed the tab and immediately i opened with the same old password and it logged in successfully. so i logged out. after some time when i tried to login, an error message showing wrong user id / password.
                        what should i do now.
                        i tried with both the old and the new password. after three attempts, the website said you are locked for this day. so i stopped trying.
                        please guide me.

                        Recently i got the internet banking kit. I was told that it takes 24 hours to access internet banking with the user ID and password provided in the kit.I m trying after 2 days hours then also it says invalid username or password.

                          I have purchased dress materials at Saravana Selvarathiam, Chennai - 600 017 on 01.01.2009 for Rs.1, 440/- ( Rupees One Thousand Four Hundred and Forty Only ). But it was seen that in bank mini statement Double Payment has been made for the above amount. My SB A/c No.[protected]. i approached the SBI Park Town branch, Chennai and lodged a compliend on 02.01.2009 ( No acknowledgement was given ). They asked me to get the xerox copy of delivery report from the concern shop. but the shop keeper refused to give the same. Under the circumstances i may be advised the further step taken to receive the second debit of Rs.1, 440/-

                          I booked my ticket on 28-01-09 from lucknow to delhi for the date 12-03-09 through irctc.co.in during the period of booking my two (2) times the prosess was failed at the time of transction but when i tried thierd
                          time it was successfully but when i cheak the baillence it shows all three(3) times transction and i got only one reservation .
                          Will you please help me out what should i do know
                          Why your shop keeper refused to give it? I think he is supposed to give it. I had the same experience with SB ATM but I got the money after 2 months. I have given the copy of settlement statement from the shop. It is required to ensure that the shop keeper didn't get the money two times.
                          I have booked two tickets to mangalore thru; irctc.co.in via internet. myk transactilon id is[protected] and train no. 6517/mngexp. for 25.9.09. please note that they have debited twice for one transaction of rs.374.00. I request to ask them immediately refund of 374-00 which they collected twice.

                            SBI, the countries largest nationalised bank, is charging fess on depositing cash at other than home branches. Then what is the facility of core banking? I think no other bank charges this type of fees. How funny it is that I am depositing cash in my own account & for that I have to pay charges. This is totally disguisting. Then I have to open account every where in case I shift my work location. Is this the behaviour expected from a nationalised bank?

                            Cash Deposit between Branches — Charges to deposit money!!!!

                            Wow this comes as a shocker! Guess nobody is actually complaining. This one is a classic!!
                            I go to deposit Rs. 1500 at the behest of a friend to Vijaya Bank, Residency Road. I need Rs 1500 to reach Vijaya Bank in Sakleshpur, Hassan Dist (180 km from Bangalore). I fill in a blue form and think that the procedure is over. Once I reach the cashier (after a 30 minute wait in a Queue), he tells me there is a charge to deposit money, and I need to fill in a DD form !! I ask him why? He tells me thats a 'Board Decision'. I need to pay Rs 20 more on the deposit of Rs 1500 (that is going into Vijaya Bank itself). However I have to leave the bank (there is such a huge queue that the first time it took me 30 minutes to reach the cashier !) I leave and then decide, that being a busy day I will approach a branch on my way to another assignment.
                            I enter Vijaya Bank, Shantinagar at about 2:30pm the same day and to my surprise the cashier there tells me that I need to pay Rs. 40 over and above the Rs 1500, that I need to transfer (confusion???). I reach the Senior Manager and he too looks confused too, but agrees with the cashier ;). I approach the cashier with a look of frustration and tell him that it is pretty ridiculous! that I pay for depositing into the same Bank. I get a comment that this is not "SOCIAL BANKING' and that charges are applicable! Wow ... so much for Customer Service etc ... I guess the Vijaya Bank employees need to know that getting a job like theirs is in itself 'SOCIAL SERVICE'. They are nowhere near standards that are even 'acceptable'!! Its a shame that there is such a snob attitude and total lack of 'humanity' among this lot !! A BIG SHAME!!

I've also faced this problem when i had to deposit some money in my account from a nearby bank at my home (my account is in Patny Centre, another branch which is a little farther from my home). They had charged me Rs.25 for my amount was less than Rs.5000

Usually I am making the payment through auto debit with my ICICI Bank savings account. This is the first time I am making the payment by cash. Actually I am not ware of the cash payment fee for cash deposit. In this regard I humbly request you to waive off the said charges from my account.

                            The same problem faced by all the A/c holders of SBI. Only option, we should cancel our account and open in other nationalised banks.

                            As a policy, SBI is always non consumer friendly.

                            With increasing competition, atleast they should come forward to help their a/c holders.

                            I also faced similar problem. I have decided to withdraw my a/c from SBI, only because of the "other bank charges".

                            I think nowadays all nationalized banks are doing this because they need to compensate the loss happening with the latest interest calculating regulation posed by RBI. They are loosing money in monthly interest calculations so this way they are trying to gain..

                            But it is simply destroying the sole purpose of Core Banking..
                            The trend these days is to first offer the consumers with some service and when they get used to it start charging for it. Initially it was free of cost. the basic requirement is that they should be satisfied with the profit they make out of lending money to borrowers at double the rates they pay to the depositors. But now they are not satisfied by it. They want abnormal profits and the employees want fat salaries.
                            The fact is correct . I too closed all my transactions with SBI .Being a largest bank in the country, it should be an example for consumer friendly to other banks but SBI is not so consumer freindly .

                            I completely Disagree to those people complaining against SBI. As it is the Largest Bank in India and Hold a very good Position in the Global Banking Arena Too some of the Opportunist People and some of the Banker of Privaised Banks are Spreading these Mal-Thoughts among people.

                            Actually all the Nationalised banks following the RBI norms and Guidance to Potentialize the Money market to the Depriving ecomonic condition of our country.

                            And my dear friends, you should know the Service charges taking by the private banks are more and more than your imaginations and they are not providing Service... They are doing their Business and emptied your pocket in such a way that all the time you are repeadedly cheated and cheated. Poor you Poor your thoughts... Ridiculous..

                            I am customer of SBI. 30 years I enjoyed the service of SBI.. And I feel Homely... One day When you wake up and realize what SBI is and Will be in that time, You will Worth my Words...
                            I also faced same problem. They have cut 30 rs for non home branch for deposit money to my account and 10 rs for pass book entry in non home branch. What a rubbish... At one side they are advertising their core banking, mobile banking etc. on big big hoardings and inside they cut this type of hidden charges. Other government bank is also there in our state but they are not charged for non home branch. Bank of india is one of the best example. This should be changed. They have to stop this hidden charges...
                            I think SBI is cheating customer by charging for deposits in Non home branch. Afterall it is the technology (core banking) which gives this features and why should then try to make money in every thing. I noticed that from 1st April even EFT and RTGS transaction are charged rs.5 per transaction. Why does the RBI not consult the civil society members before framing the charges, after all in Democracy it is by /for / with the people, why does RBI follow autocratic approach and things itself above the people.
                            WHAT IS RBI DOING ABOUT THE following atrocious charges of various Bank or is it in hands and gloves.
                            a) many MNC banks have started charging Rs.500 per month if the balance is below 25000. How can this be allowed ? is RBI head also getting his cut ?
                            b) the interest rate charged by for credit card by bank is almost 40~50 % per annum, how can this be allowed and why is RBI not governing these rates ? this is three times higher than a normal pawn broker rate of interest . On one side the govt discourages taking loan from local pawn brokers and on other side they loot in form of Credit card. When thy offer only 5-6 % per anum for FD below 365 days how can they allow interest rate of 45 to 50 % on credit card

                            I've also faced same problem when i had to deposit some money in my account from a nearby bank at my home (my account is in Kapshera Branch, another branch which is a little farther from my home in Gurgaon). I shocked when they had charged me Rs.25 for my amount was Rs.3000/-.It's is very funny, at the one side RBI taking decision to stop inflation's the other side bank do like this. If anyone see the effect of this charges, everybody escape to deposit amount in his account. then he take cash with him & spent the other things to increase inflation s . So anybody help me where i can complaint of this to wave off like these charges.

                            s today i go to deposit 5000/- Rs. in SBI home bank non home branch; but the accountant(Mr. parkar, SBI, Karjat, Dist Raigad, Maharashtra) sent to me to deposit the money to customer service officer & he took 98/- Rs. service tax for Rs.4900/-. I go to the bank to ask about these problem but they didn't give me perfect answer. I this is doubtful, but I don't know what I do?
                            Can anybody tell me why the bank is charging when cash is deposited in another bank??

                            Sbi cards is charging rs.100/-plus12.5percent gst, as cash handling charges for cash deposit made against card payments in their own branches.i just paid rs.113/- as cash handling fee in recent statement received after depositing annual fee. Such a fee is not mentioned in fee schedule for various services provided by sbicards.

                            State bank employees are getting salary from govt. They will not think about customers. The employees are so dull they dont have manners to talk with customers. Once I went to SBH, Degloor for education loan enquiry, the employees were not telling the information.I hate state bank employees.
                            This this like roaming provided by cellphone networks. Before some years the cellular providers considered every local city as local and other than the registered city as roaming and put extra roaming charges for us. But after sometime TRAI indulged and removed all these policies and made a single state as local.
                            I think RBI should also regulate these activities performed by Banks all over the India. This is weird guys, much more costlier than the roaming charges. Even though for deposits we need to pay charges. But what they do is a simple online transaction and that process for nonlocal deposits does not cost them too much. I swear it is a way for Banks to EARN MONEY from us:-(

                              I was using SBI credit card some year ago but i have stoped to using it when i got to know that they have cheated me, issue is they have charged me royal sundram charges while i was clearly indicate them that my company have already given me this facility but they have added to my bill, i again lodged the complaints and they assured me to remove it but now January-08 onwards they have again started to call me for dues which are not applicable to me, i have recieved too many calls for this out of which some belongs to settledown otherwise they have threat me, after this bad experince with SBI i have ready to settledown the things on Rs 1000 coz it will creating impact on my service but executive have never came to me.
                              I have cleared my all dues within time so iam not applicable for any dues.

                                Dear sir,

                                I had SBI credit card which is not used by me in single transaction till date and suddenlly i am getting regular threatening call from third party agnecy to setteldown for credit card payment and without any information they blocked my SBI Saving Accounts .
                                Please tell me what should i need to do to resolve this issue and who is the concerning person.

                                  MY S/B A/C NO[protected] IS WITH NASHIK SBI, BRANCH CODE-7235.My exiting card got spoiled and requested for Replacement card.The officer got my form filled and told me that same I have forwarded for replacement of ATM card.To day after 3 weeks from Help line came to know that Bank has not forwarded request for new ATM card, more over came to know that EXITING CARD HAS TO BE BLOCKED .Accordingly i have asked to block the card.Ticket no of blocking ref is[protected].I would like to draw the attention of BANK towards lackluster attitude towards customer service.pl.look.in to itand resolve urgently.

                                    i bought a TW loan in HDFC bank( loan acc no[protected] i have cleared all my EMI as on date

                                    without any cheque bounce, when i asked for NOC HDFC bank refused and claimed that my

                                    August 5th 2006 EMI is bounced as per the RBI sequence no [protected], when i checked with

                                    my SBI pass book i found that EMI is cleared as i has sufficiend funds in my account, HDFC

                                    issued a letter to SBI and requested reason for the above mentioned RBI sequence, but SBI

                                    branch manager (HVF avadi branch, chennai) refusing to give clarifaction on the RBI this

                                    issue, due to this internal ECS issue mt credit history is negative in CIBIL and am not able

                                    to get the loan in any banks, at the sane time HDFC collection persons are coming to my home

                                    every month and disturbing me a lot and HDFC bank issued a legal notice also against me

                                    we bought HDFC TW loan, all the EMI are cleared as per my SBOI passbook record, but HDFC claims that Aug 2006 due is still pending, HDFC issued a letter to SBI stating all the reasons with the RBI sequence number [protected] for this ECS transaction, BUT SBI IS AVOIDING TO ISSUE A LETTER ABOUT THIS ISSUE,

                                    i raised a complaint on 30'oct through phone banking thay said that with in 50 to 55 days i will get back my amount. i called up they said that visa people has given clearence and i will get back my amount on
                                    24-dec-2008.i called up on 24'dec they said that end of the day i wiill get my amount.
                                    i never get that amount.i called up they are saying that amount has been with drawn from my side.

                                    i got irritated and went to hdfc bank sector 62 again they are saying that manuaaly i have to the complaint with complaint number. i lost my complaint number.i called up customer service they are regect me to give complaint number(my case is looking by puja) in customer service.

                                    please consider my complaint and solve my problem as soon as possible

                                      Dear sir,

                                      Enclosed please find my application for duplicate ATM PIN, which was submitted on 28.09.2010 at Gadchandur Branch. Till date I have not received any password. I have enquired so many times in Bank and also lodge online complaint through net banking but no any positive response received from Bank.

                                      You are requested to look the matter seriously otherwise we have only option to change the salary account to any other bank.

                                      First of all I did not wish to rate the services for SBI as the services have become worst. I am trying to issue my pin number for my debit since a year and submitted applications as well as per suggested but did not receive the pin yet. Bank officials behave in a very inhuman way. I had contacted SBI customer care as well and they had asked me to go to the home branch with the ticket number but the concerned officials seems so busy that they do not have time for the account holders.
                                      I have a not received my ATM pin no. Plz provide my pin no.
