I WAS USING SBI CREDIT CARD DURING THE YEAR[protected]. MADE SOME PURCHASES. THERE WAS DELAY IN MAKING THE PAYMENTS. LATER AS I GOT RETIRED, I STOPPED USING THE CARD. I WAS NOT AWARE WHETHER THERE WAS SOME AMOUNT STILL THERE TO BE PAID. SUDDENLY, AFTER 2 1/2 YEAR I GOT LETTER FROM SBI, STATING THE TOTAL OUTSTANDING WORTH OVER RS. 117, 000 ODD RUPEES. BUT TO SETTLE BEFORE 1ST JUNE THE AMOUNT WAS RS. 11, 500/-. I WROTE TO THEM ON 23RD MAY, 2009 STATING THAT I WANT TO SETTLE THE AMOUNT IF IT IS UNPAID FROM MY SIDE, BUT GIVE ME SOME DISCOUNT AND TIME PERIOD AS I AM RETIRED LADY STAYING WITH MY RETIRED HUSBAND AND BOTH O[censored]S ARE OVER 65 YEARS AGE, AND CAN'T PAY THIS FULL AMOUNT IN ONE STROKE AS THE PENSION WHICH I GOT IS VERY LESS AND THERE IS NO ONE TO LOOK AFTER US.
TO MY SURPRISE, NO ONE IS BOTHERED TO REPLY EVEN AFTER I HAVE REMINDED THEM SEVERAL TIMES.

Sir, I want to clear the dues, but as I’m a retired lady staying with my retired husband. The only source of income is pension. We both are of 65 years of age and staying alone. My intension is to clear the dues, but if you can reduce to amount to Rs. 6000/- and allow us to settle the payment in 4 equal installment, this will be a great help from your side. This is because our pension is very less and we can’t settle the account in one or two installment.

Union Bank of India — cash not delivered but account debited
R/SIR,I had used my sbi debit cum atm card to withdraw rs 8000 from union bank of india atm at tinplate jamshedpur jharkhand whose atm ID is NJAM[protected] on 1st july 2009 at 20:51.As per receipt given by UNION BANK OF INDIA ATM transaction declined 072 unable to process and record no. 7069 and cash was not delivered. But later on I came to know from sbi atm statement that my account is debited by rs 8000.Please arrange for correction and reambursement of my money.
