[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

Dear, Now days sundirect is facing a big concern about his services because it's satellite is getting change from old to new due to which there are some channels which are currently not available. However they are working very fast to resolve these issues. Yes there is some delay just because of some reasons. But any time you can call in customer care and ask to register your complaints and always remember to take your complaint number for future reference. Time is not with the company however i got assurance from them that they will defenetly resolve this issue ASAP .

Sun Direct — upgrade

Dear sir,
I have given complain thourgh phone + email to customer care of sun network, but till now no one came for upgarde the dish.

i am giveing complaint more than 10 times no person come and clear the dish i am waiting for 2 months plz take the complaint

sun dth dish network — no response to complaints

i have sun dth dish network connection at my home. it was installed during the month of marc 2010. and i have paid subscription fee for one whole year and same is valid till march 2011.

around first week of november 2010, channels started dropping one by one. in the beginning only the same was complained on 17th of november which has never been attended till date. later on, all the channels have been dropped. again i complained on 23rd of december. it has still been unattended.

due to their fault, i am without the service for one and a half months. and when i spoke to them today, they are still not in the intention of attending to the complaint saying it maight take another 3-4 days.

i claim for refund of my monthly subscriotion by postponing the payment by the period of complaint unattended. and they are not agreeing to it.

sun dth dish network people have caused lot of inconvenience and mental trauma to me.
I ALSO AGREE WITH MR.KANNAN.WE ARE ALSO CHEATED BY THEM .NOW WE HAVE MOVED TO THE OLD CABLE CONNECTION...WE ARE NOT GETTING ANY CHANNELS IN SUN DIRECT DTH FROM THE MONTH OF OCTOBER AND THEY JUST NEGLECTED ALL OUR CALLS...I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT NEVER GO TO SUN DIRECT AGAIN...WE ALSO PAID FOR ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION.

was filed in December last year.

Yes, I am totally agree with all the persons who has made these complains.They cheating their customers, which very bad sign for them.They will have to wind up their business, as some one will definitely
take advantage of their poor service & will enter into the market.My advice to them PERFORM OR PERISH.
SUN DIRECT DTH IS THE MOST WORST OPERATORS AVAILABLE IN THIS WORLD. THEY DEVELOPED THEIR BUSINESS BY PROPAGATING RS.99 FOR CONNECTION MPEG TECHNOLOGY ETC. BY CHEAP PUBLICITY AND EXTRACTING MORE MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS.

THE MATTER IS THEY HAVE COME FROM MOST CORRUPTION FAMILY.BACKGROUND. THEY NEITHER BE SUBMISSIVE NOR UNDERSTAND THE FEELINGS OF COMMON PEOPLE.

THEY HAVE MONEY SO THEY STARTED DTH SERVICE. THAT IS ALL..

EXPECTING FROM THEM FOR GOOD SERVICE, RELATION SHIP AND SUBMISSIVENESS IS A WASTE VENTURE.

PLEASE ADVISE NEAR AND DEAR NOT TO PURCHASE SUN DIRECT. THEIR WEB SITE IS VERY POOR. BUT THEY WILL BE BOASTING LIKE "ORACLE" BASED WEB SITE.

CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONS AND NODAL OFFICERS ARE LETHARGIC AND UNFIT FOR THEIR POST.

Sun Direct DTH — Not able get any channels have been calling for last 3 days no response from customer care

Dear Sir,

We are not getting channels since 11th March 2011. I have been contacting customer care since then but didn't get any response or any solution from those people. Please help me in this regard.

sun dish — not working for 8 months

my sun dish is not working since last 8 months .my sun hd card no. is[protected] R it was given by KINGS ELECTRONICS Panvel,RAigad alongwith purchase of Samsung LED TV.
Sun Direct website sucks!! I forgot password, and there is not forgot password option on the site!!! somehow after multiple tries I was able to login successfully. I added some amount into my account and tried to addon some channels. No matter from what browser I tried, I'm always getting some script/soap error!!! And as usual Customer Care guys can never be reached. I'm blocked and not able to enable any channels now!! :(
