I was in use of sundirect because of a devotional channel named 'GodTV' and 'Shalom TV'. Now, they removed the channels from their list. After luring customer with offers, if they remove our most favoourite channels, it is very bad to any organization. They are cheating customers. Also if we want to reach their customer care numbers, it is very less chance to get the line. Please my sincere opinion is do not be get cheated by taking sundirect dish TV, as they may do the same thing for your favourite channels also.

They very well know that customers are in problem as they cannot cancel the connection because they have lost money for the dish, set-top box and as installation charges; which sundirect will not given back. So, customers are in risk. Please beware of this cheating.

Sundirect dish tv, after attracting customers with free offers, now most of the important channels from their telecasting list. Kindly do not proceed for taking this dish Tv as they cheat customers like this.
I am not fully supporting the complain.Sun DTH if fully business oriented.They concentrate only on entertainment channels, i think. I also took the DTH believing their brouchure telling that GOD TV and Daystar is part of their package.I did not know that they have removed the two channels which i want very much.Now i have taken connection and don't know what to do to get those channels.Is there any possiblity to get those channels even with payment.If anyone know about it kindly mail me.

    This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]....

    I purchased SUN Direct from one of the dealers in Velachery, Chennai on 26th Jan 2009. While purchasing it I clearly told them to install Telugu Basic plan, but they installed Tamil basic plan in which we don’t get important and most viewed Telugu(or any English) Channels.

    The same I have complained to Customer care (CC) and Dealer in the next day of this installation. They replied (CC), it can be rectified within 48 hours but so far 528 Hours still it is not rectified.

    The most funny and frustrating thing is getting connection to CC, always Network Busy. If your fate works, CC takes your request call as if you are calling then very first time and they say again 48 hours.

    Now I am feeling that I have taken a wrong decision of taking SUN Direct. Still my issue is not resolved and not sure it will be done in the near future. For their worst services I have paid almost Rs. 150+ for Mobile bills.

    Services not correct from more than a month. No channels were available for one week. Now only 70% of the channels available. The channels which are unavailable are the channels which we watch most of the time. Service was extended for one week (Validity). But the services are not correct still now. And charges are made on the full services. Now we have recharged it again. I want the Amount to be refunded as compensation or the services validity to be extended.

      Sun Direct deleted my three add on packages - Venus, Mercury Plus & News Bouque - before the expiry of one month.Sun Direct Customer Care numbers[protected] & [protected] - are permanently engaged.Sun Direct Ernakulam Office numbers[protected] / 6603998 / 6603999 - are ringing but nobody attending the call.Website access is extremely difficult.Sun Direct DTH Signal has lost quality.Video gets frozen very often now.Grains in picture is also frequent now.Audio of some channels is loud while others' is very low.WHERE TO COMPLAINT...?, BCOS NO CONTACT MEDIA OF SUNDIRECT IS WORKING !!!
      PLEASE DON'T KEEP EXTRA MONEY IN YOUR SUNDIRECT ACCOUNT...BCOS THEY MIGHT JUST ROBE THE MONEY & SAY " YOU PURCHASED PACKAGES " !!!

      Re-charge Free — Cheating by Dish Agent

      I, recharged my Silver Pack for six months advance to get free recharge through a agent in Delhi-33 by Mr ANJANI KUMAR -[protected] on27/01/09, gave me assurence of its activitatio in 24hrs, but it turned out bogus one.Mr ANJANI KUMAR is for ACE COMM.-110092.My V/C No. [protected].Plese give free recharge as you advertize.
      Yaa it is 100% true. i have owned a sundirect connection but now i feel that there is no need to buy that stupid product.
      it is really cheatting because they advertise that we have got all malayalam channels but its not true..
      kairali people, jeevan tv, shalom tv those are not available in this stupid connection..
      and now they are decided to change the monthly rate from 75 to 99. this is really a big cheat...

      It is 1000% true. Every sundirect customer (3million) 99.99% is having problems after his honeymoon (free subscription) is over. Cannot recharge, cannot get Cus care, cannot log in, cannot ... cannnot..., but who cares they do not bother about it. The company has men in Parliment, so no way to go for us, except what is in for us, wait..., wait...,

      One other thing we can do is to try and bring in as many sundirect customers in one site and fight for our right Do strike and not use or recharge sundirect, within seconds (i hope) they will come in our way. Because as a individual we are nothin.

      Hi all,
      This complaint is 100% correct. When ever i call to the customer care landline number's always they will be engaged. Accidentally one day i called and i got a chance to talk to one of the executive. I told i wanna add Neo Sports to my pack. Then the concern executive told me that the system is busy now, so call after half an hour. I thought ok system is busy/down what ever it is, i called them after half an hour...
      i keep on trying and trying but no way... always i used to hear the engaged tone!!!

      What i could understood is that SUN DIRECT is cheating all o[censored]s.
      Is there any body to take action against them...!!!

      Customer cure numbers[protected] & [protected]) never work between 8 am to 8 pm, it will be engaged. but when i tried 8 pm to 8am, can catch customer care people.. (always)

      I have given request to customer care unmounted disc fitting from old house and mount fitting in new house, charges need to collect 300 rupees according to the sun direct customer care people. but sun direct distributor demand me for 600 rupees.., finally agree to pay then.., but no one come mount it for week..,

      Finally I catch local TV repair person., and he agree to mount it for 100 rupees.., which has been done with in 30 min.,

      Finally i came to consideration that Sun Direct People
      1) No Rules and regulation.,
      2) In-sufficient technical power.

      this is because o[censored]n-educated or un-trained people in Top level management in "SUN DIRECT"

      Sundirect — Reducing number of channels after collecting subscription charges

      Dear Sir,

      I am a custmer of Sundirect for more than one year. During the the subscription renewal they have always advertising 12 malayalam chennels, even now also they are offering 12 channels in their web site www.sundirect.in. But they are providing a service of 8 channels only.

      I hope we are eligible to watch all the 12 channels they have offered during the subscription and in their web site.

      here my new set up box is not working, .it is like a condition just after 2months from the purchasing date..

      no need to go for things like DTH connections, always ordinary cable connections are good..

      at the time of purchase they are saying like they will be here within 2days after registering the complaint..but when i rang them for assistance they said they will come as soon as possible, they are bc like dat..

      so the better option is not to go for these kind of things..and 1 more problem is that, there channels are getting reduced day by day without our knowledge..its not the add on channels, its there regular channels.

      Really waste of money. Booked for dish reallignment on oct 25th, but no action taken upto this(nov 25th). Only 4 malayalam channels are available now(asianet, kairali, dd, jaihind) in basic malayalam pack. Dish should be re-alligned to get all channels, but they take no action
      I am sure there are thousands of customers affected by the change frequenc by the Sun direct. Eventhough they offer free of service to re-allign the dish, no dealers take interest in doing so. And Sun direct does take any action against them. They are only concerned with deducting money from our account. Can we take any legal action against Sundirect for cheating the customers...? Unfortunately I refilled my account for six months and I get just only one channel. They are looting our money. What action we should take...

      Ya the same experience for me too.. Tried reaching the Kerala Customer Care, but unable to connect since last 2 days. The number was not busy, its just giving a beep beep sound. Even I tried from different phones too.. Very bad experience..

        Hi
        I've taken Sun Direct DTH service from VSR Entp, Hyderabad, I am getting error like "Unknown SmartCard ", I called the Customer care & the dealer several times but every time they are logging complaint but not action has been taken till now. Some body told me to remove the Smart card, clean it with a dry cloth & reinsert it . I did as said but no benefit. I feel that there might be some problem with the setup box or Smart card. Can any body please help me.

        if its coming as unknown smart card
        you have to try to clean the smart card with a dry cloth and reinsert the smart card
        if its not working u have to replace the smart card with ur nearest distributor

          Very very poor customer care service

          I have Sundirect the past 3 days it is not working i called the customer care also they are not responding properly the Sun direct customer service is very poor service, Because of toll free number & [protected] is cannot contact suddenly.Many more times try engage tone only.This is not a customer care, customer war...
          I have been using sundirect dish TV for the last 4 months and I am malayalam baisc channel subscirber. I have taken SUN direct because I am using malayalam channels specially SHALOM TV, JEEVAN TV etc.
          Unfortunately both channels removed from this dish. Your customer service is not giving any answer. I think you are cheating customers becasue your planning is that both channels will take pay channels after few days.

          So I am requesitng to you that kindly re install both channels immediately for the customers.

After many calls they given the complent No. [protected] they promise me they are resolve this problem with in 2 hours but still it is pending. I allready informed the team leader also but no use he promise me he resolve the problem with in 1 day but same was not done and also dont excpet this type of customer service we don't need also, Pls resolve this problem immediately. smart card no.             I Bought a Sun DTH on 14th, Jan-09. Picture was displaying two days with E-48 No Signal Error. Error was coming seldom. After 10 days, errors is coming 10 times a minute. I reported to Ditributor, But there is no proper response from their side. Whenever I call them, they told me that they will send technican today, tomorrow, another day...if any body have idea to apply for Consumer court, please Reply me and guide me.
            I also had the same problem of E48 no signal, i called customer support atleast 3 times & they directed me to useless dealers who are just sellers not service providers. I called dozen people but nobody responded till date (3.2.09). Finally, i myself found the issue & resolved it, the problem was due to dish alignment, the direction of the dish got changed. I restored the dish to the correct position by going through some sites which provide all the DTH satellite dish positioning. The SUN direct dish direction is Azimuth 133.8 degrees that is rotate the dish 133 degree clockwise from North & elevation is 68 degree. For further info, download Satellite Antenna Alignment software from Internet, it is free & look for Insat 4B for Sun direct.

            i will complaont to sun direct distributor they will send private repair machanic . he change setting at one minute. they do charge 500/- Ruppees.Every time they

            I am a subscriber for Sun Dish.I have paid Rs.@2250/-towards Sun dish connection to the local Dealer.The dish is always giving trouble.In spite of complaints, nobody turns up for service.Since past six months it is not at all functioning. Ian trying to revert back to the local Dish antenna fellow, so that I can least enjoy the T.V.             Sun Direct DTH — Not giving service as per terms & Condition

            Hi,
            A lot of disturbance of signal coming since two weeks, at last CRC error ER 1 came Last week.
            I called customer care many times, complaint about it. Eshawr a technician came to us, looked into issue and he declared that Kit<set up box> is dead and down/
            It should be either replace or serviced according to him.

            I called CC supports, they are not responding well. At last, they given distributor details.. for Balkam pet branch. that is [protected] , But it is not connecting :) . I even went to their personally twice but it was closed.


            Please do needful to replace it within 2days<as i have 1 guaranty which is not yet completed>

            Or
            Please hand over me remaining Balance i..e 6 month remaining amount from 1 year renewal.
            I dont want to continue my account with this kind service.

            Kalanidhi maran has gone mad and Sundirect is going to stop their business soon. so, please don't buy new connections and don't recharge if you are a existing customer.
            I strongly agree on this complaint.
            I am also facing the same problem...No response from customer care or Distributor...
            Most of the channels have been moved to new satellite and they are advertising that they are providing free service to update it. I am calling customer care and distributor from past one month but nobody helping on this issue. Its better forward all these complaints through internet so nobody else get cheated ...I don't know why these customer care numbers have been given as they are not caring the customers...

            I am Sun Direct customer since 4 years with Smart card No [protected], Name : Chandramouli Balakrishna.
            actually i took this DTH service in Vijayawada but now resided in Hyderabad at Vanastalipuram.
            for the first year sun direct services are OK. later on so many troubles appear in your services. I determine to stop this service from time to time.

            Reasons:

            Channels Mixing and Flickering.
            Whenever I call the helpdesk, they told me that they will send technican today, tomorrow, another day...
            after so many requests No Response
            Not giving Service as per terms & Conditions
            Any time error codes like E48, E52, E16 will appear
            Charged for any kind of complaint.
            they will send private repair machanics.
            Every time they charge min 300 rs/- of amount.

            It looks like money minded business but not service to the customer .

            One of the worst DTH service ever seen in my life...channels are not available, Worst customer care I have ever seen in my life all times all queries only one reply comes that is
            "sorry for the inconvenience some technical problem "...
            nobody is attending the complaint as per commitment while lodging the complaint.

            The dealers (Only Brokers) are not attending the phone/disconnecting the phone.

            Andhrapradesh Helpdesk or customercare or nodal Ap employees and waste fellows.they have half knowledge and Bp Pationts.

            We are not asking for any free service. We should get proper service for what we have paid.

            stop the sun direct dth please don't buy new connections and don't recharge if you are a existing customer.

              this is inform u that, we got sun direct dth connection one and half month(nov 2008) before, but 8 days back suddenly the set-top box is not getting the power, we complained to the distributor(M S T enterprises PVT. Ltd.) and concern agency.they said we will correct it in 24hrs, 3 days back i spoke to a person named manivannan from sun direct in this no[protected] he said it will be replaced in 24hrs, till now there is no reply from any one,

              very worst customer service we got.

              I have sundirect connection. now i am trying to recharge my account.. for the past 1 week.. there is no proper resopnd on your side... i tried Online recharge, SMS rechragrge... and Call center numbers Both (toll-free and other Landline Number) your Customer executive did not attent my call.. please say what i have to do next... my mobile num: [protected]

              i have recently got the Sun direct connection, i think i did the wrong thing by selecting this one, the activation of the system took about 1.5 weeks. I was about to breath a sigh of relief that at last it got activated and suddenly by set top box is malfunctioning. The video clarity goes out after 10minutes and the set top box hangs with no response (you have to reboot the whole damn thing). I got a temporary replacement with a promise of servicing my brand new set top box and a guarenteed no replacement for the set top box.
              i would suggest to customers who are going for this cheap satellite connection to cross check every technical detail if you have the patients and time.

              SUN DTH — Set up box is not working

              My set up box is not working, I am not able to reach customer care over phone. Getting always busy. Nobody knows about where exactly, i can give my setup box for repair. Can any body tell me, is there any service center in hyderabad?
              This is the worst DTH service in the world. I earlier had Tata sky, and recently purchased SUN DTH as it provides lot of channels. From the day 1, I got lot of issues on this, some times when the display goes blank, we need to remove the smart card and rub it in our butts and fix it again to view the the picture. Now I butts are gone red because of this sun direct dth
              I too sundirect connection 4 months back, within one month the video picture started either hanging or going blank. The service person asked me to reboot every time by pulling out the black pin and reconnect. After I was told there is some software problem. Over a period the frequency of picture blank out reduced. Very little help from the agent.
              Now the frequecy and duration of video blank out, not the audio is so intolerable when complained,
              no positive response and none turned up. Finally I have returned set top box for checking, not knowing the fate.Now they started charging Rs 250 per visit to check up, if any complaint is there, though they
              claim ownership of all the items, including cables.
              Another revelation is that the SunDirect Agent suspected cable fault and asked me pay for a new
              cable, which I refused.
              I am now not knowing what to do as I am neither having DTH nor cable connection though I paid one year subscrption.. I will be happy if SUN DIRECT spell out what I should do.The Sundirect dealer is Rajhans Electronics Ahmednagar Maharashtra

              Sun Direct DTH is the worst service provider in india, we have SMT-S1090 model STB and is not working, when switching on all red lights are glowing and technical person says it is dead and should be replaced, the replacement costs rs.600/- and it came after 10days, it looks a back model N6760S and there is no warranty for this replacement box. Worst Service. Never go for Sun Direct.

              Sir, I have purchased set top box with smart card no. [protected] and since last one month picture is coming in black &amp; white, I have also lodged complaint with customer care 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected]. but the complaint is not attended so far. every time I call the customer care, they reply that problem will addressed within 24 hrs, but almost one month no one has bothered to attend the complaint. Even I have recharged a currency of 175+340. I am fed with the service and will seek legal action of the same if not addressed within 48 hrs from today.

                As per the the Sun DTH tele ads they say they are providing all the maklayalam channels.But they are not providing the channels mentioned in the broucher, like Jeevan TV and Kairali People. This amouht to cheating of customers and aslo the other DHT service providers. But in Asianet DTH there around 16 malayalam channels.When we called to enquire about this they didnt pick the call, not even when their higer authorites caled them that was the same during Dec last week. At last once we got connected they were shouting and barking and was using obnoxious and explicitly threatening with assault and grave injury leading to heated arguments in abusive language/intimidating tones to me. Several times it was shown that smart card is not recognised status is coming, and also messages like E4 service is scrambled.We took the connection on 26 th but it was installed on 30th of december and was made to wait for 2 days and even after 2days after calling even to the regonal office and the distributor Surya enterprises they told us that they are in shortage of stock, and told us that they are having christmas and new year celebrations and it will take atleast 3-4 days for activation Only after we told them that we will prefer complaint before consumer court thet activated the connection on 31st december2008

                  I purchased a Sun Direct activation card on December 25, 2008 in Bangalore. Till now, neither the customer care or the local call centre is telling me when the DTH connection will be installed. All SUN Direct phone numbers including the Nodal Officer, Gunadeep, is always engaged. I suspect both the dealers and Sun DTH is cheating customers.They are taking money, but they do not have the set top boxes.
                  YES same is the story with me.

                  SUN DISH TV is the worst company product i have dealt with. They have no sense of responsibility.

                  Dish TV — Subscription is activated and they are not returning the set top box.

                  I launched 4 complaints with DishTv and the complaint numbers are as follows:
                  18874955, 19091197, 19133731 and 19244200.
                  They never came to look into the problem and only after the 4't complaint, they came home and took our set top box, saying that it will mend is 3 days and will get back to us.
                  After a week they never came back and never answered our calls, and once or twice they lied that the guy has already gone and will come in another 2 hrs to our home, which never happened.
                  Then after calling them, they said, the box is still with us, but will have to be sent to the company and then they will repair it and we will have to pay.
                  We agreed to paying, but the set top box has still not reached us, they keep lying and never give the correct status ever.
                  DishTv is an un-ethical and a very bad company.
                  Kindly help us put this problem to the higher management of the company.

                      I took Sudirect DTH in Navi Mumbai (Dealer Naik Group), They came to my place installed on 20th Dec and said channels will be activated in 24 hrs.It's been 1 week services are not yet activated, whenever i call them, their number will be either busy or not working, rarely it gets connected then they will say it will be done today . i know they are lying but am helpless.

                      if anyone planning to go for Sundirect, please dont make payment till ur services gets activated.

                        My wife ordered Direct TV with the NFL Sunday Package and 2 Year contract for my birthday. She set an install date and even noted on the notes that we already had a 4LNB dish on the house. The install day comes and noone shows up in a 4 hour window so I call them. I get a person on the phone and it takes them several minutes to discover what is going on. They then tell me that there is a past due amount from 5 years previous. I tell them that is impossible as all bills were paid and the contract had been honored. She proceeds to tell me that the outstanding balance is $357. What? I asked if I was on candid camera... I then ask for an itemized statement of the charges and she tells me that I was sent a new DVR and I owed over $150 in service charges. I then tell her that we never recieved the DVR because we were offered a great deal with another company and they were not being competetive at the time for current customers (only new). I tell her there must be some kind of mistake and that since we did n0t receive any new equipment that I would pay the difference of equipment charge and service charge. She says that this is not possible. I get a supervisor on the phone (suppossed). I run through the above and also mention that we cancelled or previuos service with Dish and that we are having a get together for the first weekend of football and I have no TV. This lady sounded like she could care less and said that I would have to pay the entire $357 to get their service. I then tell her that she is crazy to dispute a 5 year old bill with me because I am willing to nearly split the difference and sign a two year contract with them to give them more monthly revenue at at least $80 plus dollars a month and we already had a dish on the roof. She says that is the best they can do. I tell them that it is definitely their loss and they will not ever be getting my business or anyone I can reach. What kind of company is unwilling to take a persons money after they have already completed on record a full contract of service and at the same time lie about sending equipment and that service charges were not paid when you are even willing to meet them half way to save a relationship. This kind of customer service will be the demise of them as more people discover their unethical ways. Word of advise... Get Dish Network this fall when the new 922 slingshot DVR is released. Dish has always had the best equipment and now the offer Red Zone for 5.99 per month with a $70 plan. Hope this helps someone out there. Thanks, Mark Edmond, OK USA Go Sooners!

                        I had bought the SUN Direct TV Product, receipt number 1300 from SUN DIRECT Dealer Company(AV Associates, Pattom, Trivandrum) on 12th May 2010. This is information to you that the product is defective due to their satellite position change and my numerous verbal complaints to their personnel have yielded no results.

                        None of their number will not work! Only call center person will pick the phone! As you know they have same answer to you every time.

                        I have never been let down by SUN DTH in the past four months

She told Yes. I told OK I am going to recharge for Rs 2050/- . After recharging I got message on screen that Renewal for 06 Months only under HINDI BASIC WITH MEGA SHINE.

                        Please note that my earlier recharge was Rs 1100/- for 06 months under VALUE PLUS PACK-ROI.Now you are requested to convert my present subscription into VALUE PLUS PACK-ROI FOR 12 MONTHS.Because I had told to top up under my old package.

                          I took SUN DIRECT DTH connection on 21/07/08.through sony mobile, Hyderabad and opted for Tamil Basic package as we were not getting all tamil channels through cable connection.The application form is properly filled with the choice as Tamil Basic package.But they have activated Telugu basic Package.So we are not getting all Tamil channels.I have given complaints in call center and to the regional agent, and has sent mails to SUN DIRECT's Complaint mail Id .Till now the problem is not rectified and nobody bothers even to contact me.

                          I would like to bring to your kind notice that there is a separate channel for devotional songs etc in telugu called "Bhakthi TV ". It will be very much appreciated if you can telecast a separate channel for Tamil viewers fully devotional which includes carnatic music, discourses, devotional songs etc.

                          This channel will be welcomed not only by senior citizens but also by youngsters who are interested in music.

                          The comments posted are irrelevant to the complaint. Please post comments that are relevant. Sasikumar is not a Sun DTH agent/distributor and he seems to be a poor customer who had got into an issue with Sun Direct.
                          @Sasikumar - I too had issues with their custmer service and it si the worst I had ever seen. But once you bought the service there is nothing much we can do. Fortunately my issue got resolved using a local electrician.

                          I have taken a SUN DIRECT Connection for more than a year and now if I switch on the "wait" is coming on the screen, during that period we are unable ot change any settings of sun direct remote and it took lot of time to clear. While changing the channel blank blue colour is appearing and unable to change any further setting. After that we have to switch off the TV and sundirect mains and to switch on again, then we need to scan every thing, during this course this swallow around 5 minutes.

                          Every time if we need to change the channel the above problem arises.

                          Request you to depute your technician immediately to resolve the above problem on top most priority.

                            I have a sundirect DTH connection ( no [protected]R) at Bagalkot, Karnataka.
                            I deposited extra Rs 200/- for Zee Kannada channel.They have given me connection for three months only and despite the fact that they have Rs 132/- as balance with them they have disconnected Zee Kannada.I went to the local distributor Ishwari Enterprises, they are telling me that I have to remind every month SUNDIRECT to renew my Zee Kannada subscription!This is what service I am getting for paying money in advance & I dont understand why cant they give me connection for the whole amount & why I have to keep reminding every month.

                            April 5, 2010
                            I called customer care[protected], made 1 year recharge, Set Max Channel is free for this 1 year recharge.
                            On the same day I asked them to give me Cartoon network channel for 1 month ( Pluto package), Customer care assistant told me that their system experienced a technical fault & the same will be cleared by 48 hrs. Amount for Pluto package got deducted from account instantly But till date I did not get the channel.

                            Sundirect dth perheps is not legal. Link to custmer-care, everytime it appears, it has no SECURITY CERTIFICATE, it is dangerous to urs computer etc.

                            infact sun direct is loosing its reputation inthis way

                            they should give wide options for recharging

                            i took coupon of 600/- for charging for six months but inspite of calling and making it charge they made it for 3 months and keeping balance in suspence account

                            when i got to knoe this after three months when got disconected, they are telling it was a mistake now u hve a short of 3 rupee so get it charge


                            i really dont understand why such a poor service

                            I HAVE A SUNDIRECT smart card NO.R[protected].Requested local dealer to adjust the satelite to ur new frequency for the past one month as i was not getting the south channels.They said that they will do it.But till today they have not done it instead they said the position of the antennae to be changed for which they will charge Rs.300/- for which I have agreed too.Made complaint in ur Ranchi office (regional) under complaint no.[protected].But no response.
                            If you are not interested in the customer service, will you mind taking out the eqpt so that I can use some other dish services.My contact No.[protected].Expecting a response from you

                            I am a customer of sundirect dth service since 2009, I have two complaints about sun direct dth service.
                            1.my first complaint about sundirct is that their customer service is very poor compared to other dth companies. When i try to contact sundirect customer care center via phone, line always busy so that i can't recharge for the monthly subscription.Then I tryed to access customer care via web using this link "https://selfcare.sundirect.in:8443/login.aspx" site fails to load if it loads sometimes says "The site's security certificate is not trusted!".

                            2.I brought a Rs.25 recharge coupon from shop few months ago, when i try to scratch the coupon area scratched becomes turned black and no voucher pin was there,I think it was due to low quality paper.

                              I am Somaraj, consumer of your SUN Direct vide smart card ID : r[protected], from Department of Atomic Energy township kalpakkam.On last 4th August 2008, a group of people taken your connection, as you are providing our preferred regional channels, with good quality and believing you service credibility .Since the last 6 days I am not getting signal, from DTH.physical position of Dish is Ok.I complained to the chennai office, from where I have taken connection.they directed their nearest service shop to attend the complaint.Over phone the mechanic told that for attending complaint, payment required .As per the agreement the dish and set up box is your property.if we are not getting signal, you liable to provide the same.

                              I am having the same problem poor service is absolutely correct.E48 signal is coming every month.I had a connection on June 15th 2009 up to till date 3 times problem, distributor asking 300 rupees for solve the problem.there liable is very worst.

                                Sir, i am staying in velachery, chennai I took sun direct tv in july 2008 after paying Rs 2000 for connection for set top box and1 year subcription . The set top box is not working for the past 1 month .We repeatedly made complients, but no oneis coming to check the set top box . For the past 1 month we are not able to view channels, including pay chanels . It is inconvinient for the customer to give a unbranded set topbox, which was working for lessthan 3 months, we paid 1000Rs for set top box .
                                So the management should take necessary action to settle this matter.

                                Yes our Sun direct set up box also not working after 3 months.. Please take necessary action..
                                My Set Top Box also faces the same problem. There is not customer Service. When i called the Customer Care after 20 mins speech asked to contact distributor. When contacted Distributor they asked to contact Saidapet Office for Settop box problem. But when i went there they told they will not see this box you have to go to Kottivakkam. When called Kottivakkam they said they will come. But no improvements. Very Worst Service

                                I have given a complaint one month ago for most of the channels not displayed after satellite change. The customer service has assured that some one will look in to the issue but no technician came for realignment. When I contacted the Velachery distributor they are asking for Rs.200/- for realignment even though the same is mentioned as free. Also I see that SuntV is deducting extra amount when we deposit via their website. Very poor and atrocious service.

                                Yes, they are cheats. Mine has stopped working for 1 month now. I took annual subscription and the Customer Care gives some complaint number when you call. The next time, you mention it, they will say such a complaint number does not exist at all. Hope DoT or someone looks at such things as well. This is white collar cheating and they deserve to be thrown to jail. It has happened in Bangalore. After 18 days a technician came and adjusted the antenna, but still not working. He blames the F box software and asks us to upgrade it

                                Iam anju from amberpet in hyderabad .For the past two months Iam unable to see any of the channels ."E37-32 unscrambled" is the message that is being displayed on the screen.I have registered many complaints by calling 39407575 and 39409595 and they give some complaint no.But they never solve our problem
                                They told that I will get the channels only if we change the angle of alignment of the dish also they told that they will send some technician to do the same but till now no technician has turned up to my house. It is really ridiculous on the part of Sun Direct.I hope that i may get some response from the behalf of SunDirect!My smart card number is[protected]R.Please don't irritate customers like us i.e the humble request whch i have!!!

                                Am residing at east thambaram of TN. Self purchased a set of box yesterday and just after installation i touched the box and got shock- I tested with line tester and found it is glowing. luckly they service center took the phone and guide me to chage the direction of plug -but no use.they are suggesting me that it will be there since the box is using two way plug-Pl guide me if any body is facing the same problem. it is very unfortunate that i didnt see a single picture in my TV because of this and I am struggling to get it replaced-Be very careful with sundirect when you buy

                                Sun Direct — SET UP BOX COMPLAINT

                                We have taken sundirect 5 months before. Set up box having complaint from next day and they are not accesible to do it. Once one guy came and taken 150 from us and same complaint persisting. Very sad to say that this is a total loss for us
                                I more than agree on the poor quality of service that Sun offers. It is pathetic to say the least. Sun is helping Tatasky to prosper out of sheer frustration of its customers. SUN is by far the WORST I have come across and will ever come across. What a lousy service, my God!!! I really wonder how they even have customers.

                                Sundirect — Poor Quality sound

                                Sundirect offers digital quality sound to their channels but malayalam channels like Asianet & Asianet Plus have very low sound than normal & Amrita TV have roaring sound.We complaint so many times to Sun Direct, they do not take any actions for the problem.Pls help for solving this..
                                The Customer Care of Sun DTH is possibly the worst. The Customer Care link on their Sun Direct website goes to a blank page - so much for customercare!!!

                                The nodal officer contact number 44676767 is answered directly as Sun Direct, the moment you state you have a complaint, they re-direct you to an extension, which is never picked up.

                                  Sun direct Dish TV of Sun Tv network, chennai is in the market with a hype that they provide 75 channels with Rs.75/- per month. But there are no important Sports channels and etc, which even cable operators provide.

                                  I have made several requests to their customer care cell for the past 2 months to provide such important international channels. But they are not yet provided. Every time getting a updae from customer care that we are under process for this channels we will update you shortly.(Last two months the same answer without and ETA)

                                  Now, I am not able to cancel the connection also, as there is no refund of fees which I paid for Set top box and dish etc

                                  So, my sincere request is treat customers as your friend and don't be get cheated.

                                  i am using sun. and i want to watch the ren tv its possible i will pay the addition amount to that channel..
                                  i think ren channel should be provided the customer on paid bases
                                  customer support is very poor. if call 24 hours network busy or toll free no is not activated.
                                  sun direct is cheeting the customers
                                  i never seen such a worst customer service like sun direct DTH provided... they have 183 channels but only 6 or 7 channels can be seen able and worthy. so please dont put ur money on it. i[censored] did one day u will feel like me.

                                    i bought sun durect DTH 19 days back from distributor chennai.. it was working for hardly 2 hours then it got some problem( set top box not working) i complaint to the customer care 35 times(i have the proof with detailed phone bill)till now there was no response from their side......

                                    Signal Reception Problem

                                    I am new subscriber of SUN Direct DTH Connection.The Quality of Channel Reception is amazing during regular weather, but during rainy time I have experienced off no signal Error (something like "E48 No Signal") appearing on the Television Screen.Once this happens, there is no resumption of Signal anymore and we will be able to watch the Channels only after switching Off and Switching On both the Television and the Set Top Box.I...
