TATA Indicom — Incoming and outgoing calls are not happening

Sir I was converted my tata indicom walky postpaid connection to pre[paid connection somewhere around february 2010 and the time i got my connection converted all incoming and out going calls are interupted. When i try to make calls no calls made and all incoming calls are rejected in one ring only. Consistently i m making complaints to my service provider but no one is looking after my problem I launched no. of online , telephonic complaints and personally nio. of times i visited lucknow coco tata indicom personal relation office but i m not getting anything. i m very much upsetr and i want some strict action against it.

TATA Indicom — immoral and unprofessional behaviour from TATA INDICOM

1. A complaint regarding recieving o[censored]nwanted promotional messages and calls on tata telecom number [protected] was registered on 08 jun 2010 by Abhishek Bahl. The customer care executive attending the call promised that the calls will stop within 45 days. however the calls were continuously made to the same number. on 15 july 2010, again complaintNo NTT[protected] was registered and sms recieved that problem will be resolved within 24 hours. however the calls and messages continue till date.

2. On 19 Jul 2010, song code "19922003" was sent via sms from tata telecom number [protected] to tata indicom callertune service number 12800 for subscribing song " its my life, the singles". the subscription money and download charges were immediately extracted from my account but till this day the requested song has not been downloaded and subscription money is being charged for subscribing an undesired song for the same number despite of repeated complaints.

3. At around 2330h on 27 Aug 2010 , calls were made from tata indicom number [protected] to tata customer care and customer care executive named Ms Vidya Gupta, on being requested to transfer the call to her teamleader, put the call on hold for approx 20 min and disconnected the call subsequently. Similar incident occured when Mr Vijay Maurya; another customer care executive; attended another call made on the same night.

4. An early action to address such unprofessional and immoral actions by tata indicom is requested at your end pls.

I am a lady who runs a small shop and I have a Tata STD booth. We used to have billing of over Rs.2000/- a month or more. About 12 days before the telephone equipment failed and I called up the help line number and booked a complaint. But it was not attended to. So I made follow up and they assured it would be attended to soon. It did not take place. Finally I managed to get the number of Mr. Sam ([protected]) and he acted too busy to hear me and handed over the phone to Lakshmi his subordinate. She assured me that it would be rectified latest by last Monday. But nothing took place. When I made a follow up on the following day they said they had sent some one and the fault was rectified. But told her that no one had attended to. She replied she would find out and come back to us.

But finally my husband once again talked to Mr Sam at 10.10 AM in the morning and told him all the story and stated that we are not any more interested in Tata phone booth and how it could be surrendered to get back the deposits. He said he was driving and cancellation is not his business, but he would attend and rectify the fault positively by today.

At about the earlier mentioned Lakshmi from Tel No.[protected] I wonder how that name fits her)called up my husband as instructed by her manager Mr. Sam that we should know the basic procedures for registering complaints and our complaint was never registered at all!!!!!!!. The words she used is never becoming of an executive and that too never of TATA. She was speaking as if we are begging her of some favours which she could decline in a queensly style at her whims and fancies.

After a while to get my grievence redressed, my husband called Lakshmi once again to find out the number of the nodal officer. She even dared to say that it was not her business and she is not even aware of such a position in Kochi and mokingly suggested to make a complaint without wasting much time.

I am sure that you will admit that the whole episode was totally un becoming of TATA culture, of which the whole nation has high esteem. But the ordinary customer gets the worst care and abuse from the customer care cell of yours. The irony is that all this is “PREPAID” Tata services to ordinary customers like us.
