[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Cdma Mobile — new sim not working on old handset

Got below reply from Tata Indicom customer care from one of the deputy manager but when i asked below question they did not turn up .

Hi Care,

Why is it so ? I recently purchased my mobile on Nov 2008. You mean to say whenever i need to use new TATA sim card i need to upgrade my mobile ? which is REDICULOUS!!! .

Suppose if i upgrade my mobile today , will you be giving GUARANTEE that next year sim card will wok on my mobile which I purchased today ?

We would like to inform you that the New SIM card cannot be used with old handset however, you can get the handset upgraded at Tata Indicom Authorized service center.
