I have purchased Tata Indicom Internet Connection thru Wi-MAX delivery at Coimbatore by August 2009. The installation done by them was very poor and I did not signed the installation completion form still date. But they have billed for the last two months, and took the bill amount theirself from the advance payment done by me for the 5 months.

I registred about this issue to customer care with the compliants
29.08.2009 - 10636238
08.09.2009 - 10671094
15.09.2009 - 10729574
21.09.2009 - 10774472
23.09.2009 - 10794780
and so mony compliants till date. All these compliants closed without my confirmation. They contact me and i told them that the issue was not resolved. But they will close "the compliant as the customer accepts as the issue was resolved". The confirmation call from them was the acceptance from us.

I also spoke with Mr. Nath (Superior Official) Customer Care and explained about all these issue and also to Mr. Abilesh (Coimbatore - Technical Manager) – [protected], Mr. Ramprasath (Coimbatore – Technical Executive) Mr. Kumaresh (Coimbatore - Network Manager) - [protected], Mr. Sabari Muthu (Coimbatore - Network Executive) - [protected] about the same. But there is no proper response and no any use by this.

I send all these details to Mr. Seetharaman (Nodal Officer - South4) - [protected] and he registed a compliant "Nodal/SO4/8311836" but there is no any status update about this compliant. Now whenever i call him, he does not pick the call. I sent detailed mail about all these to him, but no any response to these mails. One person from Nodal Desk Mr. Tony contacted and informed as will sent a technical person to my premises by two weeks ago, but nobody visited to my end.

The compliants registered thru customer care was resolved by just making a call to the customer, they don't mine about the response of customer. This is a stupid activities of Tata Indicom Customer Care people and the superioir officials.

This mainly for the Consumers, who will plan to procure new Internet Connection from Tata Indicom. Please confirm with your local existing customers reference before procuring any internet connection from Tata Indicom.

    Dear Sir,

    I want to bring to your notice that I have been facing non-availability of broadband connection since 21 Oct 09, although, it is always promised by the Customer Care staff that the issue will be rectified within 24 working hours, they are yet to restore and rectifiy the problem.

    In this regard, I have registered numerous complaints viz. 10772004, 11024472, 11066328 & 11085468. My ID with TataIndicom Broadband is [protected]@vsnl.net.

    I fervently request the concerned authority to please take up a case for rectification and non-recurence.

    I want to bring to your notice that I have been facing non-availability of broadband connection since 20.4.2012.

    In this regard, I have registered a complaints viz. 14505142 dated 29.4.12. at 9.35A.M.
    By the staff of Customer Care promised me the issue will be rectified within 6 working hours,
    after 30 hours the problem will not be rectify by your side.
    Then i will also contact to ur Customer Care the call receiving person Mr. Abbas to say me your work in progress then i will told you please tell me the no. of your senior person i will contact them Mr. abbas told me my senior person engaged in other phone he will contact you. till time no senior person will contact me.
    Please clear me i will not pay for using your broadband. Then why we are suffering this type of problems.
    please clear all issues immediately.

      I dont know what is the problem with the TATA Indicom. Even after activating the "START DND" to 1909, i continuously recieve the TATA messages and TATA tele service calls too after lot of assurances made by the Customer care officers. It may be awkward to you, but it creates lot of trouble while we are at our workplace. Because of this reason i have changed the number many times but still i find the same problem which exist.

      Mobile Service Tata indicom — Being charged for the sms

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      My Name is Kalpana Gupta my Tata indicom mobile number is-[protected]. I have been Getting unwanted Sms's fom the service provider like Love tips, News update, Numerology, Vastu tips which in my knowledge i have never subscribe for, how ever in spite of repeated calls to the service provider i'm still getting the sms. I have Sent an official complaint to the service provider on November 17, 2010 below is the reply from the company but as of Date November 22, 2010 no action has been taken.

      TATA Indicom — Regarding Service

      I am using a Tata Photon+ Internet Connection for last 1 Year, But company unable to provide perfect service / Internet speed in my area. When I registered a complaint to his office for the following point

      1. TATA Indicom "HSIA" single not available in my area
      2. Internet DIAL up connection has disconnected rapidaly many times during working.
      3. Speed is too slow.

      After visit of engineer whose name is "Mr. Pankaj", he told me that in your area there is no TATA HSIA signal availabe. In my area there is only two tower one is in "Janak Puri" area and another one is in "Baprola" village and only HSIA single is available on "Janak Puri" tower which is far from my home. When
      Tata Indicom company told me that I am helpless to resolve this problem.

      Due to this, I need the help from consumer forum and consumer court side.

        Tata tel prepaid mobile — Toll free Nos no working

        I converted my mobile connection from Tata postpaid to Tata prepaid. Now I am facing problem to call your toll free Tata ADSL helpline No. 1515.

        While calling this No. from my handset there is a message "please check your No."

        Earlier it is dailing while my connection was postpaid. I tring to reset my handset and all possibilities as provided by calling customer care 12524.

        we havev stared anew businessof selling recharge coupons and lappu.we request to him to provide us coupons and easy recharge facility but in spite our request he has not supplied us the same.this comes under service and finance charge 12.5%service charge so the customers are the sufferedue to his non coopration we request to the need full in the matter

              Hi customer service,

              I am srinivas an SOFTWARE ENGINNER from bangalore.I have taken the TATA INDICOM broadband connection on 21st oct .My id is SRINIVAS.NAIK ,At the time of connection your employee has came to tell the plans .I have asked him whether they are collecting installation charges or not, then he has asked me for which company i am working i have told that i am working with MAHINDRA SATYAM then he has told there is no installtion charges .he has told to pay 2100 rs with tax in which 1000 rs to be paid in advance for the month of OCT and 1000 as the security deposit for the next month ie NOV in which i will getting the bill by the end of NOV if i dont pay for NOV month the security deposit will taken by TATA INDICOM . The things which i have mentioned above has been told by your employee ,but when i am calling the toll free number[protected].They are telling the 1000 is for installation charges which i am thinking that i have paid for OCT month (as told by your employee) .I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WILL CHEAT THE PEOPLE LIKE THIS .Actually i have faced the same type of problem with RELIANCE WEB CONNECT he has tried to create to create a fake bills for me then i have warned him that i will go Customer Court ,Then has taken his bill back. BECUASE OF THE BAD EXPERIENCE WHICH I FACED FROM RELIANCE WEB CONNECT NOW I HAVE PREFFERED THE TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND EVEN NOW ALSO I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM .I dont understand why you are doing like this .Even at the time of connection also they have told me that i will be getting the speed of 384 kbps but i am getting speed of 123 kbps even i have not getting the 1/3 rd of the speed which you have assured me this is the service your providing .Aand another another experience is that actually i am not able access the internet on 14 OCT i have called your TOLL FREE NUMBER for 5 days and 12 times i have got your service only after 5 days only that too after making calls frequently to your TATA INDICOM BRAOD BAND by wasting my valuable time .Even though i have not the got connection for 5 days also badly your charging for this 5 days also. Actually i believe in INDIAN COMPANIES but bad luck you are also behaving like that .When i called BROAD BAND customer care number they have told to write a mail to [protected]@tatatelecommunications.com .Thats why i am writing a mail to you

              There was anexcessive bill charges in the month of January 2010. complaint has been made thrice but no response as of now from the service Provider after repeated complaints.

                This is with reference to the tata indicom photon plus connection. The promised speed is upto 3.1 Mbps which till date I never saw coming in my computer. Atleast I never saw 2.0 Mbps speed. I was disappointed and frustrated and the customer service tells me that the average speed is only 640 kbps and say that my connection is working fine.

                The customer service that they promised is 24 hours customer service,but if you call them on sundays no one picks it up. Working Professionals like get time to use it more on sundays only.

                I hope they see these complaints and rectify it or totally removing the connection and getting out of the business is much better.

                Tata indicom Photon Plus — Speed of the connection

                I changed over to photon plus after they demonstrated in the shop the speed available.
                I had also mentioned the location of my place and they guaranteed the same speed will be available to me .
                After paying the bill and coming home I realised that I had been duped /
                The speed is so slow and it often gets cut off.

                Such wrong claims from service providers should be brought to book.

                your speed is very poor as you promise for speed 3.1 mbps but it will not come
                pls give me the customer care no.
                I am having the most frustrating experience with Photon+. It is now very clear to me that the TATA's are capitalising on their brand image from other industries (well at least a few ones where they have evolved and are not experimenting at the cost of customers anymore) and are simply experimenting with customers and cheating them. I have never seen an average speed of more than 20 KPBS (2 KPBS DOWNLOAD) on my photon+ - believe it or not!!!

                Interacting with Customer service and engineers is even more frustrating.

                I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TATA's SERVICES.
                The photon + launced is a failure.The speed is pathetic.pages dont even open.you just have to wait for an hour for things to move.in addition to that the cutomer care service is worst.they just have been trained to put callers on hold.At the time of bill due dateyou will get 100 shameless calls askin for bill payment.These guys are bringing shame to TATA group.
                I too agree with the speed fluctuations with photon plus connection. TATA is cheating customers. Initially when they introduced photon plus they try to wash their hand saying that they assure speed o[censored]pto 3.1 Mbps. Now they escape from speed related complaints by saying that you will get speed from 256kbps upto 3.1 Mbps. Very rarely I used to get a speed upto 1 Mbps. Most of the time speed is between 0 kbps to 200 kbps, which even a dial up connection will give.
                100% agree with this complaint...
                very slow speed... CC people with low IQ ... very less tech. knowledge..
                DONT BUY TATA PHOTON... Tatas are making money out of this by looting customers ... HATE TATA... I WILL NEVER USE PHOTON, tata NANO, TATA ACE, TRUCK. INDICOM...

                TATA Indicom — Hopeless Services

                I was using Tata Indicom services A/C No.[protected] for Internet purposes few months back i encountered problem with the modem provided due to which i was unable to use the net, Even after registering complaints to tata indicom executives my complaint was not attended I still paid the Bills for the unused period.
                Later on my service was Deactivated & now the are asking for bill payments for the unsed duration.

                If they did not provide the service why should anyone pay for their negligence

                My tata photon number is [protected] and i m stay in kalwa east thane. I m using tata photon from last 3 years previously i use Reliance net connect. I got good services from tata in previous day but from 6-7 month i m facing very bad internet connection and even some time the show connection and and full of range but where website not loading just they eat our bandwidth. I m really patiently use tata photon till date but now i feel reliance net connect is better than tata photon data card and also i suggested by 3-4 friend living in same area they using reliance net connect. I just say pls improve your service.

                  I have recently subscribed the Tata Indicom CMO 450 Plan. In this plan subscriber can use unlimited calls to Tata Indicom to Tata indicom. but now at the time whenever I goes to make a call to any Tata Indicom phone, my calls is not connected to the particular Tata Indicom no. I am facing this problem 6 out of 10 attempts. This plan is really waste of money. Tata indicom customer care is also unable to resolve this problem.

                      BY UTILISING THE GENTLEMAN IMAGE OF TATA, TATA INDICOM PHOTON PLUS STARTED CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS BY SENDING WRONG BILLING INFORMATION IT MAKES THE CUSTOMER FOOLS

                      I TAKEN 750 PER MONTH 3600 MIN FREE PLAN AND I UTILISED ONLY FOR 60 HOURS. BUT I GOT THE BILL THAT SHOWS THE BILLING AMOUNT RS.500 ETC., THAN MY UTILISED AMOUNT

                      INFORMATION ON HOW THEY ARE CHEATING (EVEN CHILD KNOW HOW MUCH IMPORTANT THESE DETAILS ARE FOR BILLING)

                      1. IN BILL YOU WILL NOT FIND TOTAL HOURS UTILISATION

                      2. THERE IS NO DATA ON DAILY USAGE EITHER IN BYTES OR TIME

                      3. YOU FIND ONE DETAIL i.e HSIA USAGE READING IN UNITS (ISIN'T AMAZING! THE UNIT ITSELF IS UNITS) OTHERWISE THE UNIT FOR THIS READING YET TO BE DISCOVERED

                      4. YOU CANNOT WRITE YOUR COMPLAINTS ON THEIR FORUMS YOU WILL GET ACTIVATION CODE IN YOUR E-MAIL BUT IT WILL NOT WORK.

                      TataIndicom — do not give the information at time

                      I am a prepaid customer of This telecom co. I recharged for Rs.333/- for T2T local and STD free as per his SMS on 13/11/2008. But at the time of recharge he did not give any information about activation. He activated this scheme15/11/2008 and today i got a SMS your Balance is Rs. 22.50 . So, Please you recharge your phone immediately How is it possible when i did not talk on another mobile then why they deduct my Balance for Rs. 24/-

                      I had Rs.46.50 in my cell no [protected] but now it is only Rs22.50 . For which service they have been deducted.
                      I truly agree with you. I am also facing the same problem regrding this thing. I have used only 7.7GB out of my 10GB free plan but they are charging a bill of Rs.7433. Also they are non responsive towards the complain.

                      I completely Agree!!! to what the ACCOUNT NO.[protected] has said. TATA Photon guys are BIG CHEATERs!!! ... I would like to thank ACCOUNT NO.[protected] for bringing this pain forward, which must have been experienced by I believe almost every tata photon users including me. I have had similar questions with the customer care but with no success in getting sorted any of them. They are ADAMNT!!! in doing wrong things and keeping customer in dark... they are CHEATERs!!! they are @##$%$%^%^$&^&...

                        i am manish verma using a tata indicom photon whiz purchase online and the employee mr.yogesh from tata indicom is taking care of this product to delieverd me...i got the modem and ask about plan to confirm it...he said it is 699 monthly rental + first 2 months rental free with unlimited data usage...i agree with this plan ..now they sending me a bill and when i complaint to tata indicom customer care ...the wording of tata indicom customer care is as follows:

                        Dear Sir,

                        I'm a Tata Photon+ user account number[protected].
                        I'm putting up this complaint against the services & response provided by the customer associate group & the supervisors.
                        Its been little over than a week that my internet services have been discarded for the reason I ran overlimit on my account (number mentioned above).

                        Reportedly, On 9th Dec 2009, I changed my tariff-plan rental from Rs1100 to a Rs 950, and the customer agent promised me that I'm bound to get 2GB data upload/download during 7AM- 11PM and 10GB data upload/download during 11pm - 7AM with a rental of Rs 950 every month.

                        Now, on 31st Dec 2009, I got a system generated mail (attached), regarding which i contacted your customer support centre at 121. To my surprise I was told that the plan I enrolled for got scrapped on 15th Dec 2009, thus my plan in action was a plan which offered 3600 min surfing during the day & 5400 mins during the night.
                        This is where my concern is sir, that the plan has been changed or might not have been activated as described, due to which I have been billed up a huge amount of Rs.1737.

                        Sir, I need justice as to the time have wasted not using this connection ( i.e. Dec 31st 2009 till present Jan 8th, 2010 & onwards) plus the time i spent in fruitless conversation with your customer support executives and supervisors.
                        I have been contacting the support centre since Dec 31st, 2009 and have till date got ONLY the Reference numbers from the complaints i have put but no concrete solution & activation of services.
                        Please note the number of reference numbers I've been given till date as :
                        Dec 31st[protected]
                        Jan 4th[protected]
                        Jan 5th[protected]
                        but no satisfactory solution or even assistance has been provided till date.

                        I've also tried reaching you on[protected] since last 3 days, but the phone is never answered.
                        Please help me out with the matter as I expect you to have a ultimate authority to look upon this.

                          I had brought a samsung super hero with the bundel offer with the cost of Rs.1800 which number is [protected].In this plan the company said to me that I got 200 min. of free local and std talktime every month and I got this for 6 months.But I got 200x2month=400 min talktime and the talktime of september I cannot get still now.Then I contract my customercare and they said that your phone has not been such as traiff plan.Please help me that I get pending talk time.

                          Tata Indicom Prepaid — fake offer

                          tata indicom send a message to my mobile no.[protected] on 30th nov, 08that recharge with Rs. 299.00 and gate all local call to any phone @ 50 paise/call for one year.

                          i have recharge the same on the same date till date they did not activate the offer. Costomer care centre are telling that they are unable to solve the problem.they have only given me one year incomming free.they are charging Rs.1.50/call which is three time higher than the offer.

                            i a person from chennai..i m fed up with tata indicom prepaid..i have submited my documents 3 months back in a tata indicom hub...after three months they r saying my documents is not reached to them....in india a person can use a mobile sim for 3 months without proper verification....sad to say and look for those people who r miss using it,....haha what a joke...again i have submitted my document 5 days back but still it is not received by the tata indicom...some day they r saying server problem some day other...but still i m facing the problems...so to every terrorists its a message that they can use tata indicom prepaid line without any problem...is there any person who has answer to my query.....

                              I was never interested in caller tunes, but indicom is very big fraud company to earn money by putting caller tunes on automatically and deduction Rs 20 every month for that. I have complained against this many times but every time i get the same reply that i need to send sms to deactivate that caller tune, i did that too but again next month a new caller tune set again and my money keeps on deducting. I am fed up with keep on complaining. Even call center people also knows they are doing fraud thing, so they dont solve the problem, they just keep saying same thing and disconnect the call. Why indian law doesnot close such fraud companies. Please suggest me what can i do to claim my all money back from indicom or what can be done so that inidcom doesnot sustain in future and wont make fool to other people.

                                Sir,
                                I have three Postpaid connection of Tata Indicom ([protected],57,63)
                                I gave a request to convert all to prepaid but customer care had told me that is not possible to convert postpaid to prepaid in Tata Indicom.

                                I saw a advertisement of TRAI (Telecom Regularity Authority of India) says you can change postpaid to prepaid and also change prepaid to postpaid .

                                I don't want to change my numbers

                                I just want to hear from Tata to change my post paid connection to prepaid.

                                Tata Indicomm prepaid mobile — postpaid bill on prepaid card

                                Sir, I have tata prepaid connection [protected]. On 30th june I got recharge of 256/- for free tata to tata calls n sms, but my outgoing calls were not allowed. I then got a topup of 50 rs/- done and even that balance was deducted stating that I had an outstanding bill of 1400/- rs. how is that possible when this is a prepaid connection???. Most frustrating is that even my calls to customer care are not getting through...do they think they can take their customers for a ride..

                                I also got the same response that my number will be converted to prepaid from postpaid within 72 hours. Now 72 hours complete but I dont know the procedure for next steps for conversion.

                                  Tataindicom Walky — Bill generation after disconnection of the connection

                                  I was using the TATA indicom Walky and I requeted for disconnection of the connection. He accept the request on phone and send me the last month bills with some additional ammounts. Generally I paid the bills through Net but on site it is taking full payment So I called the Tata guys for taking the payment. I give the cheque for the last month bill alongwith Walky set and he give the payment receipt but not connection termination paper and told that the set will deliver to office and your connection will close. when I given the set no incomming and outgoing facility is available on phone so the connection is closed. After one months I get for the bills of the same bane with usages with giving call details. I complaind to tata indicom office through mail and he replied that they will check.. this is happening thrice and at last the connection closed because of the bill is accumulated more than limit amout. After that they are calling me that pay the total amount otherwise send to the legal notice and he send one notice. I visited to TATA Indicom Noiad 18 hub with this legal notice and showing all the crosspondence which i send to tataindicom office with reply. He check on system and found that the connection withdraw request submitted before 4 months and they also submit a request for settle the case and told me that the case will close.

                                  But after one month again I get the call from TATA indicom office and they are saying that you pay the outstanding payment otherwise send the legal notice.

                                  I am struggling since last six months but still the case is going on.

                                  This is very bad experice with TATA

                                  TATA Indicom — Bill payment calls after connection Closed

                                  I had Tata photon plus No [protected], for which i made a closure request on 27th Oct 2009 with Request No :[protected].

                                  For that i made a payment of Rs. 314/- on 03rd Nov 2009.

                                  Starting from November end i am getting continous calls from tata indicom agents for Bill payment.

                                  On 1st Dec i talked to agent Gurjeet on Customer care regarding this, he told that the same has been activated again on request of Girish. I dont know who is this Girish. Also, if the connection is on my name How come the staff make the number active on request of this Girish. Gurjeet told this will be resolved and i got new req No :[protected]

                                  Today 29 dec 2009, again i get a call from agent for bill payment of Rs 1200+, and that agent was not atall ready to listen my point. After calling at customer care Ms. Jyoti, she againg gives me a new request no[protected].

                                  Can anyone tell me what is happening there.

                                  If i have put the closure request on 27th Oct and made the full payment for that period , why i m liable to pay the rental for November and December.

                                      hey i signed up with tata photon plus.. its been three months.. my plan is 1100rs / month 10gb bandwidth...my second bill is with 5 gb as per the bill .. but my actuall usage is only 3 gb.. i called and complinte almost 100times.. but no go. i left it becos anyway i had 10gb usage.. but the last month bill gave me a heart atack in which i already expected.. becos form the day one in there usage meter shows me incorrect reading.. i called them many timess. i have send screen shots.. i spoke with many people.. all i got is lets waits got bill to check .. now i got it.. its total of 13 gb usage it shows and i got a bill for 2900rs .. but i know 1000% i havent used much..i am still waiting for the answer.. this is my major issue as of now.. but they keep changeing billing date.. due date in the past three months bill.. i am so tired and frustrated.. the customer service is the crap and a big piece of i have ever seen n called...omg i cant beleive ta i cant do anything abt it ....do anyone have same problem.. lets escalate...lets c when tat guys gonna change n do things rite..

                                      but i received a shock today that bill amount is Rs.3443.
                                      Today one lady from customer care called me and said the amount. But i have explained her abt my usage. i hav'nt used even 5GB.
                                      she is saying that that does not belong to our department so, You kindly try another cc number.
                                      But the guy on tht corner never picks up the phone. I dono wat a is this tata photon.
                                      Customer service is very very worst...?
                                      I dono when these guys r gono here me.
                                      Few days back I bought tata photon + data card not more than 10 days, I was told I would be given a 2 months free subscription and 15 GB free download.
                                      And within the 10th day after the purchase my TATA photon + data card stopped working sayin Error 678: The remote computer does not respond.
                                      When call the customer care . I was told that I have exceeded the 15GB that's why the connection is barred and I was told I have crossed 17 GB extra and I need to pay again 3000 Rs on top of that. I'm not going to pay the bills JUST say TATA.
