I lost my cdma tata indicom set ( motorola) with sim ( mobile no [protected]) and after getting GD number from police station I asked our nearest tata indicom showroom( Indaragora, Bankura) to lock my sim but at that time I have no knowledge to get the duplicate sim. a few days later after locking my sim when I asked to have a suplicate sim of my missing sim, they denied to provide it.

So, I need the duplicate sim of [protected] as soon as possible.

TATA Indicom — Not Give Dublicate Sim

R/Sir,

i am customer of tata indicom. my mobile has lost for
last month with Sim. i submit the complain in my area Police Station & Receive the complain copy. Then next day i apply the Dublicate Sim in the tata indicom hub in hisar for one month. They are telling me if Sim are not availeble in here for last four Month.
but i go to a tata indicom shop in Hisar he say me if you give me customer I.D & i give you Dublicate sim to tata indicom and recently activate your number.
Pls closed your customer care hub in Hisar you not give dublicate sim.Your service is very poor. i request
my all friends if he not take a tata indicm connection

So i closed all connection.

    My account No. is[protected]. I am extremely upset with the quality of service being offered by Tataindicom and also the extremely bad customer service. I got the number of 60110121 from the internet for the customer service number for broadband for Pune and also the numbers printed on my bill of[protected] but I got no help from these customerservice numbers and the phone call kept landing at different locations like Hyderabad etc. I am having extremely poor quality of internet connectivity for over a week. I request you to call me immediately at [protected] to discuss this matter or I will outright cancel the service and stop paying my future bills.

    I am extremely upset with Tataindicom service and plan to put the complaints on consumer complaint.

        A company named 'Appu Hardware' seems to have given my Airtel Phone Number '[protected]' as their contact, and their Telecom bill seems unpaid with Tata Indicom. Tata Indicom folks has been calling me for bill payment frequently, and the frequency has only increased after I complained to them.

        Have got around 50+ calls already and it comes from various numbers. Latest has been from '[protected]'.

        I would not bother to get any compensation, but would like to Tata Indicom to immediately verify the phone number and stop calling me. Please help me here.

          I have purchesed a new Photon+ connection from Tata Indicom on 27th of May 2009. My account is under the HSIA Freedom Plan, which comes with 10GB of free usage per month. When i purchased the plan i was not informed that the free usage was prorated. In addition the online system (which is the only way to track the usage) shows i have 10GB of free usage. I have never in any form of communication been informed the actual limit for free usage for the first month (except for the plan details which only states that it is 10 GB). Now the company has billed me for the usage over a prorated limit, while the actual limit or the fact that it is prorated is not communicated in any from. Also my line has been barred.
          I have also filed complaint for this and also sent mails but have not recieved any response.
          yes tata has given me wrong bills
          and whnever i ask them for an explanation they never bother to reply

            RESPECTED SIR/MADAM,

            AS I HAVE ALREADY MADE A COMPLAINT AGAINST TATA INDICOM PREPAID SERVICE TO YOU AND ALSO TO THE CUSTOMER CARE OF TATA INDICOM PREPAID SERVICE ON 14/06/2009. I GOT AN APOLOGISE MSG FROM THEIR SIDE.BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN UP TO NOW.
            LAST DAY I MADE A RECHARGE OF RS. 50 AND ON THE SAME DAY I HAD BEEN DEDUCTED WITH RS. 30 AGAIN. INSPITE OF NOT SENDING ANY REQUEST OF ANY THING FROM MY SIDE.
            A CALLER TUNE HAS BEEN POSED TO ME WITH OUT MY CONSCENT 15 DAYS AGO AND THEY HAD DUDUCTED MY ACCOUNT WITH RS. 15 BEFORE 15 DAYS. AND THE TRAIL PERIOD HAS BEEN ENDED TO 29/06/09. I FORGOT O[censored]NSUBSCRIBING THAT CALLER TUNE. THEY AGAIN DEDUCTED A SUBSCRIPTION MONEY FOR 30 DAYS.


            SIR I DONT WANT THESE TYPE OF CALLER TUNE. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

              Did you know that Tata Indicom Photon Plus is the only best product introduced by Tata Indicom. Even though it doesnt work everywhere its speed is very good. There is a main problem with it. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR IT. I tried calling cutomer numbers total 7 numbers. No one knew what to do. They keep passing the problem to the other phone number (not passing between departments but phone numbers). Finally I tried to email them. There too I receive only phone numbers. THE SAME PHONE NUMBERS. Then all of a sudden I receive an email saying My Problem has been solved and that they are closing the complaint!!! Say WAT????? To hell with them. If any of you know the correct customer care number pls do let me know. Thank You.

              TATA INDICOM Broad Band (Pre-paid) — Very bad customer support, No solution, No money refund, Mental harassment

              It is really sad to say but unfortunately I am a customer of TataIndiCom Broad-band (Prepaid Connection). I am using TATAINDICOM Broad Bank Pre-Paid connection since last more than one year. For some reasons, I had to relocate my apartment . I requested for Shift of location on website and got the Lead No 1532464 is feasible. It is showing Shift of Location charges of Rs. 500. I was surprised to know the charges. Just to shift the location where there is a feasibility, you are asking Rs. 500 from the customer...really surprising. Anyways, I thought of moving with those charges and asked customer care to proceed. I got another call from one of your executive (i think cabling department) saying that you will have to pay Rs. 600 more for cabling too since it is under ICC network. I was shocked. Rs.1100, just for moving from one place to another with-in Wanowari. What the hell you guys are talking about? I was completely numbed. I asked that guy but he told that these are the charges, contact to customer care for more information.

              I called up customer care on the same day and she asurred me that only Rs.500 is to be paid, there is no other charges. I asked her to confirm but she was sure about that. I asked her how much time will it take to complete this process, she told me that you will be receiving a form which I never received till now. I called customer care asking about the status but no one was aware about it. One of your executives asked me to visit TATA INDICOM office at Kalayni Nagar, Pune. I decided to visit the office to close this. I visited TATAINDICOM office and talked to Mr. Vaibhav[protected] and he told me that you will have to pay Rs. 500 (VSNL charges) + Rs. 800 (ICC cabling charges) = Rs. 1300 (relocation charges). Another shock...charges are increasing each & every day. Rs.1300 more to utilize my Rs. 1373.78 balance amount. Is it the way, TATA INDICOM treats existing customers? Anyways, there is no limit of harrasment at TATA INDICOM. It is still continuing. I asked Vaibhav to TERMINATE my connection and return my balance amount because this is not at all practical to pay Rs. 1300 just for relocation. He told me that he has processed my request and request # is 5413280 and told me that money will be transferred with-in 45 days. Another shock...45 days to get my money back. Is it at all justified? What if customer wouldn't pay any of your bill, wouldn't you charge interest on that? Will you gusy pay me interest on this amount?? Anyways, I didn't argue on that and agreed. Vaibhav assured me that I shall get a call from one of TATAINDICOM executive on next day. I thought that it should be resolved now.

              Even though, I didn't receive any call. I called one of your executives again and asked her to confirm the status of my request# 5413280. Now another story, she told me that you wouldn't get your money back because this is PRE-PAID connection. Another shock...she gave me another request# 5423492. I asked her to forward my call to your senior manager, but she told me that lines are busy and any senior manager will get back to me on this. Can anybody tell me what the heck should I do to get rid of this? Is it justify to pay Rs.1300 to use my own money.

              I would like to know:
              - Is it the way to treat a customer? I have been your customer for more than one year. I am also a Professional and I never treat a customer like this. I can't say a customer that this is not my department, contact to customer care & so and so. We are working as a Team in a company and we should take care of customer's request. We should resolve the problem rather than saying talk to this and that. Atleast communicate internally and let customer know the resolution.
              - Being such a reputed company of INDIA, are you guys working in such unprofessional manner?? I am shocked.
              - I just received another call from Vaibhav few minutes back and he is saying that he never told me that I will get my balance money back. Should I visit your officers and do recording to make sure our conversations? He told me to contact to nodal office. He didn't give me any solution. Everyone in TATAINCOM organization is throwing the ball to someone else court.
              - Why this is not mentioned on website that I have to pay Rs. 1100 or Rs. 1300 etc?? Website is still reflecting Rs. 500.
              - Can there be any single point of contact to resolve my problem?

              TATA Indicom — Faulty/ Non-existing Customer Service

              If there is hell on Earth, that is dealing with Tata Indicom. when I made payment to my wireless landline, they did account it in mobile and disconnected the landline. Finally, fed up to the brim, I surrended both the lines. The landline (Wireless) was always down and they promised discount which never came.

              Now, I had only one wire line 66366887 in AP circle and I wanted change of billing address. i made 7-8 requests online but everything gets closed without any resolution. They say they cannot wait. When I asked the reason by raising a complaint on the service, I was warned against raising "Invalid Complaints". I was told to be available "anytime" in the next four days with all proofs, name boards, evidences etc without which they cannot change the billing address. I never gave any such proof when I took the connection.

              If India has to survive, such organisations have to die. Government Offices and Muncipal Corporations in smalltowns are much better than Tata Indicom.

              I request you all to NEVER venture into anything that reads "Tata ..."
              The biggest mistake of my life was having connection in TATA Indicom. I really traveling with Tata Indicom false billing. Actually I have a Landline(Wireless)[protected] and I used it for receiving incoming calls. I have use outgoing in very rear case because I have another Vodafone connection. At first 4 months the charged genuine amount around 350.00 per month. But after that period my phone was always indicating busy. This problem continue around 20 days and I have complaint many times but their mechanics could not solve the problem then they have told me that they will change my Hand set.
              And finally they change my hand set And same days I got a call that “please make payment of 2800.00 for avoiding disconnected your services”. I have again complain in their customer care. One day I have receive bill of 2800.00 in which 90% calls are related to that that place from where I don’t know any one.

              Tata Indicom Service Dept — Problem against tata Indicom service dept.

              Dear Service Team,

              I have the TATA Cell :- [protected] . And my last bill was Rs:210/- . I have paid the bill before due Date ( 22/09/2008) as alwaysand my receipt no. is"4202750. So I think you understand that my last bill is clear and my next due date will be 22/10/2008.

              Now the problem is that from "TATA Service" my outgoing was cutted first at 30/09/2008.
              At that time I called to Customer care at 121 no. and taled with "Jigar" . He checked in the system and replied me that your last bill is reversed so you have to visit the Outlet where you have paid the bill and gave me Docket No:[protected]. And started my outgoing service.

              Next Day I visit there and request the same for this, the "Executive" at outlet told me that your every thing is clear and you will not face the problem for this.

              Next time I also face the problem for making outgoing calls at 04/10/2008 . Again I gone through customer care and taled with 3 persons (Dhiman, Pranav, Someone else). Again I received the docket no:[protected]. They told me to visit once agian for shortout this issue. Next day I visit once again to that office just because of this worst service. Again the same process happened .

              Now from today onward I can't make the outgoing calls, I called to "Customer Care" and noe they still waiting for credit my stupid 200 rupees, because still the reverpayment issue is not clear from your system. And please tell me that how many times a customer have to pay the same bill.

              Also I want to know that your persons are giving me the docket no. day by day, so is there any implementation on this. Or just customer have be struglled every time.

              Kindly check the below sheet for my total bill details, I hope that you will solve asap and not give me any chance for further actions.

              I am just typing away this comment which was mailed from me to TATA legal team, for which till now I haven't received any kind of response. If you go for a photon plus please think twice.

              I had raised a complaint with respect to photon plus which was linked to my account on 2nd of may 09 there was no proper response and I couldn’t use my photon connection for 2 days which is highly critical for my kind of work where I need to access my mails & do my work, so I had an severe mental torture as my whole lot of office work everything went for toss.

               Then for the second time that I raised a complaint for the non connectivity of photon plus on 12th of May 09 and there was worst service I could ever experience in my life time, there was not a single support on resolving my concern when ever I had called up the customer care 121 and this again lead to loss of my office work & time and for this more over I went physically to the TATA main office located at Khan Lateef Khan estate near Lal bahadur stadium in Hyderabad, I wasted my whole of the day in chasing behind the technical support people for getting my photon plus activated whereas this was a clear responsibility of TATA Teleservices to provide online support or else to send across a technician to my location to get this done. So it resulted loss of time & the worst of worst service which was given.

              Immediate after this incident I passed by I requested to split my account of photon plus. Getting this done from TATA Teleservices Ltd., I experienced one more pathetic service, when my bill got generated they have added what ever usage was made from photon plus was added to my old account instead
              of adding to the new account of photon plus, I wonder why this was done on what basis it was added to my photon plus usage to my old account.

              After the bill generation I got to know my bill has come to Rs 7500 odd whereas I had made the payment of Rs 3668 for which I don’t see any details in it and later on I asked the customer care people to provide me the details of my usage there was no any response for my request made and they expected me to pay the bill, how this is possible I have a right to ask my bill details as per the section of the Right to information act, 2005 under TRAI guidelines.

              And till now I have been calling on daily basis from past 8 days stating that I am not able to connect photon plus, one person from customer says me it’s a technical problem, another person says me it’s a backend server problem, I have been hearing 10 different things from the customer care, they themselves doesn't know what is the cause of the issue & they take the customer concerns in a very casual way and in a very negligent manner.

              In the notice sent to me numbered with TTL/LEGAL/138/ dated 5th June 2009 they are stating that I have agreed to the terms & conditions of the Tata Teleservices Ltd while providing me the connection from them, if that is the case what about the terms & conditions which each service provider should follow while lending service to the customer which is invisible for me, what kind of service they agreed upon the TRAI before launching any kind of services have you they been following it ?

              Is this a service or the rules that TATA Indicom people follow and imply on customers and TATA indicom people are least bothered to serve the customer with their concerns. I have been following up from the day one there is a zero response, no update. I just question their legitimacy of providing the service, hope if they were in my position they would have at least known the fact of providing the below the mark or worst service any one could experience from TATA Teleservices Ltd /TATA Indicom.

              I have undergone very severe mental torture and ended up with lot of problems which has impacted my day to day life to an great extent from using the photon plus of TATA Teleservices Ltd.
              They are basically deceiving the customer and his rights.

              I recieved one TATA Photon Plus USB, After Paying Rs. 1399/- online in a promotion scheme of TATA + HP offer.

              The delivery executive assured me that a system engineer will come to me for the installation. But nobody visited even after two days. Also when I tried to contact Call Centre they keep on passing the complaint to here and there and give many nos to contact. But nobody is capable to help, as I dont have Tata Photon No, so I am neither An Existing Customer nor A new one

              Fully agreed, I also suffered same in Wired Broadband connection
              This product sucks in terms of customer satisfaction - charges were hidden until 1st month's bill, no customer care details
              I have taken a Photon Plus connection about fifteen days ago and till date it is no put to working condition despite my repeated contact to thero local executive as well as a called up their office at Noid, Delhi & Chandigarg as well. It seems that there is a lack of management in a reputed company like tata indicom which is really sad. I still hope that it may work within a few days or I have to think onterwise

              I certainly agree with all you guys.TATA photon connection is very bad.Initially i was told by the representative that i would be getting a speed of 153 kbps.The speed rarely crosses 110 kbps.It takes 5-10 mins to open a page.I don't understand why these people deceive the customers to sell their products.
              TATA, please stop fooling people.
              I also faced the same problem. They kept giving me numbers. I called up about 6 numbers and they end up giving the same numbers back again in 'multiple' loops. Some of them were even rude enough to just cut the phone while I tried in desperation to tell them my problem so that they can point me. TATA corporate has infact isolated every team from the other that they have been given only phone numbers ( half knowledge). If you want to avail their IVRS, you need a photon+ number which is not given. In the end, I am neither a new customer or an existing customer with a whole bunch o[censored]seless numbers.

              I got it finally done by some good soul who finally picked up there and himself agreed that TATA has a very bad customer service.
              I had the same problem with customer service numbers where no one seemed to give me the right number. Anyway, I finally got this number - [protected] which seems to be the right number for Tata photon plus connections, atleast for Mumbai.

              Otherwise the connection speed is pretty good. I sometimes get upto 300 kbytes/s. On average more than 150+ kbytes/s.
              I had similar experience, they keep passing the call to the next person ending up nowhere, tired with the service. No guess, how big will be my first month bill, hopefully less than Rs 2000, because lot of people with similar experiences posted complaints.
              I am using TATA INDICOM Photon PLUS connection for one and half month. My bill has been generated for last 7 days but they have not sent any bill to my address. But, they are disabled my connection that my previous bill is due. I have calling customer care. Nobody knows what to do. Who is responsible to send the bill? They are giving different mobile number. But no one is responding properly. I don’t know what to do. It is absolutely unprofessional approach. If any one knows what to do, plz inform me? I want just my bill to pay the due and to access my internet.

              How to see my tata photon plus Bill Amount through Net. Please tell me the website and the screen flow to get my bill amount. Thank you.
              Your customer care for Photon is absolutely hopeless and fraudulently dealing with the customers. It deserves a legal scrutiny.
              I have paid for the tata photon connection on the 8th august 09. The sales rep promised me the connection on the 10 th aug insisted that I pay cash i e sum of Rs.4000 so that I get the connection in a couple of days and not a cheque as it will take a week. Now the sales rep has disappeared with the cash but has given me a receipt saying with a no. I have been calling up the customer care but every one s clue less. I give a complain and they ask me to follow up with the complain number. So everyday for the last week I have been calling up customer care and the only response is 'you will get the connection tomorrow ' and "tomorrow never comes" . Today I called them again as the engineer has nt turned up and they say we have nt received your application. your s forms are not in place and the sales rep was very particular that he has the police verification copy. everything was provided .Then customer care tells the number on my receipt is not correct. THE CUSTOMER CARE IS CLUELESS AND THEY HAVE JUST TAKEN THE MONEY AND VANISHED. TATA SEEMS TO BE TAKING THE PEOPLE S TIME AND MONEY FOR GRANTED.

              I am using a photon connection which is as old as the services launched in Guwahati, Assam. My experience with Tataindicom has been an mixture of pleasure and frustation. Initially the services were good to average but not excellant if you go by Tata standard. I had my share of nervous breakdown with
              crawling internet speed taking upto 5 minutes to open a page. Though I was attended promptly by the customer service personnel, the services provided by the Tata Teleservices is not all satisfactory if the same is compared with what they have promised/advertised. The average speed if you take on monthly basis is less that of a good dial up connection.It's not at all a pleasure surfing the net with Tata Indicom
              Photon service. When you need the speed badly, you don't get them. I wonder why always a customer is at the recieving end in India. If the services were really good, no body would made any complaint at all.
              So many people can't be wrong.The fault lies with Tataindicom, not with the customer. I wish they improve their standard of Photon, Photon+ service in order to regain their lost faith.

              The complaint is against Tata Indicom Internet Service Dept. regarding faulty (excessive) billing done by them.

              Our monthly rental is 299 + taxes and our usage is very minimum as we only use it for e-mail purpose.
              But in the past few months there have been instances that they have charged us heavily showing heavy usage, which is not possible.

              In the last bill we have been charged Rs. 3846/- for the service, when we complained about the same to their dept, they sent us a mail with the bifurcation of the usage which shows that there has been excess usage in the night time and also that there has been an approximate usage of 3500 mb. Download and 2500 mb. Upload in a single day, our service provider has provided us with a surfing speed of 256kbps in which we get a download/upload speed of approx. 8 kbps, and with such speed how can there be so much usage in a single day. It is extremely not possible and this is one clear fact that their billing system is faulty. Also our office remains closed from 9p.m. to 9a.m. and the main power supply is also turned off during that time.

              We have sent complaints to their department through telephone to the customer care dept., through e-mails to the concerned dept. for 15 to 20 times. But there is no response from their side.
              Customer complaint reference no.[protected]this was provided by them as a reply to our mail, but no action was taken after that).
              We had to pay all the bills completely as our telephone service is merged with the internet service and if we don’t pay the bill on time they will disconnect the phone lines too.
              We have also sent a complaint through registered post to their correspondence address.
              Before few days their representative visited our office to solve the problem, they assured us that they would provide us with a waiver for the excessive bills, but again there is no response after that.

              This is to inform you that I was using Tata Indicom internet services since 2007 through No. [protected] and my average usage was around Rs 360 per month and only once it surpassed Rs 750. Surprisingly in the bill dated 27/07/2009 numbered[protected] I am charged 2226. I have a doubt that this may happened due to some mishandling or technical snag. As companies executives called me to pay the amount telephonically I explained my doubt but they didn't respond properly. I have asked them to provide me details of the sight those are logged in that particular month. but they mailed me the duration of time I have logged in only. Although I didn't paid the amount they have sent me next bill. I don't want to use any services of Tata Indicom now onward after seeing this type of wrong billing. I want to pay the amount what I think actually used thay according to me around Rs 750. Please let me know what to do.

              TATA Indicom Photon Plus — service/network problem

              Hi,

              I have got a tataindicom photon plus connection since few months now. Would like to complain on their misleading communication. They cliam to have the fastest network as per their advertisment. But on ground they have network problems. The speed is just 260 kbps (as per inspection of their technical team) and they promise minimum 300 to 600. Sometimes the speed is even slower, as per attachment. The slow speed is leading to high bills as i have an hourly plan.

              Would like to register a strong complain on account of misleading advertisement and inaccurate product information from their end.

              TATA Indicom Photon Plus — excess billing

              i applied for tata indicom photon plus plan RS 1100/- monthly 10 GB monthly usuage and i got my connection in the last week of june. after using it for about 3 weeks approx 3 GB my connection was terminated. when i went to customer servicice i was told that it was disconnected for not paying the bill.when i inquire to pay the bill, they said that it was RS 5500/-. after using it for only 3 weeks and about 3 GB out of my monthly 10GB free usuage. Is this tata indicom an extortion company or are they taking me for a ride. please advise.
              You are right...I too faced the same problem. Their own service engineers say that the highest speed is 300-500KPBS. This is a fraud but in India this is how TATA works. We can't do anything except filing a consumer forum case.
              I have never saw such a poor customer service .. Its like municipality office.. Billing is too much or wrong data shown on webpage(Internet usage meter).
              They charge Rs 2 per MB and showing data used in Byets.. Shame on the poor understanding between MB and Bytes, I feel pity about their lack o[censored]nderstanding... I didnt get SMS or Mail for crossing my free 2GB data limit, as they promised. If they will not change this they have to pay back deposite and pay back the device cost to us...

              Be aware they will put your call on hold while call is going on, for some times 20 minutes.. and call get cut automatically.. No wonder they can't understand the issues...

              TATA Indicom Photon Plus - Nobidy should buy and waste his money on such a useless product. I was using Photon Whiz and was offered high speed broadband like if I upgraded to Photon Plus. When opted first salvo fired was that I can select only higher plan than existing. Second was that it will continue to work all India roaming as usual but when I travelled to other places where there is CDMA network (not HSIA) it gives error 678 - remote computer did not respond. Had made more than 100 calls to their toll free no., escalated to their nodal officers too but in vain. Nobody tells about escalation procedure. They automatically close all the complaints. Now I don't what to do?

              Recommend nobody should go for it rather opt for BSNL 3G

              photon plus — Excess Billing

              I had taken Tata Photon plus on 4th April 2009 which got activated on 6th April 2009.
              I have been told by the sales person that its an Unlimted Plan (1250 Plan).
              After using till 21st April 2009, I came to know that it's not working, so I called Customer Care on 22nd April. The executive told me that it has been blocked.

              I asked her why it has been blocked then the representative told me that I reached the maximum limit. I said her its an unlimited plan so what is maximum limit?
              Executive told me that the plan has an upper limit of 15 GB/month (Now, I need to seriously change the OXford dictionary meaning o[censored]NLIMITED). I told her the sales personal cheated me and he did not informed me anything like that. She took complaint and after that I got several calls from the executives of tata indicom.

              Later they sent people to my home who was not clear about the plan and its details. In few months they sent 2 people to my office address and there they tried to even bargain from me on bill (the executive said me to pay atleast half of the bill). When I refused and said send me the correct bill and I will pay the money he said ok and disconnected.

              Now after so many months, I got an legal notice on behalf of tata indicomm saying that the bill of Rs[protected]+ +Interest Rs 2000+ +FEE Rs 1500) to be paid in 7 days or to face legal action.

              Now I have few questions which I am asking always from the executives of the tata indicomm:

              1: Why my device got blocked?
              2: Executive says device gets blocked when we reach upper limit, so in that case my
              device got blocked when I reached the upper limit. So why I am charged so much?
              3: Executive agreed that their is fault in system and the bill is wrong. Then why so many
              calls and bargaining and then this legal notice?
              4: I contacted customer care multiple times and now they say they do not have any
              record. I have when such number 66090. What about other details? Got one more
              complaint number: 76274.

              I am undergoing a pathetic experience with Tata Indicom. Due to the poorest customer service and network connectivity, I applied for a closure of the connection (over phone) within 6 months from the time I took the connection and then sent letters to them. They never bothered to close the connection and gave me an official closure.

              Sent many letters to them no response.. they continued billing me for more than 3 months, even after I applied for connection closure.

              Now they are torturing me to pay the bill for none of my fault. it would be helpful, if some one could help me how to hanlde this situation.

              I totally agree with you that there customer service is totally pathetic, i called in there customer service which they say is toll free WHICH IS A TOTAL LIE, i spoke to some gajanan, he told me my services are deactivated as my cheque amount has gone to some other a/c and the services can't be activated, on top of it he told me i am a liar and not giving correct information. i am highly disappointed with the services. i am planning to throw the photon ASAP.

              Tata indicom is not have valid systems to work. I agree and same experience is with me. I have puchase recently launched PHOTON PLUS PREPAID, however, from second day it is not working showing error in connection. My days are counted for validility of package and the network or any other problem should be entered in system. There is customer servicces for photon. The download and upload meter is faulty. Speed is not depends on the network signals but time also. The supprotive software for signals is faulty. I you download any net meter the actal speed at my location is 84 kbps which is extact opposit to 3.1 Mbps. Looking at complaints I have purchased prepaid. but the case is same- TATAINDICOM. TRAI should note any warn the companies for this kind of malpractices.

              i don't have such heavy complaints but the fact that tata employees have not come over for the collection of due bills is a source of much headache, although they had insisted that they would do so after the lapse of two months, this period was part of their diwali offer and provided free service for the initial two months. It would be kind if they Tata had proper billing system placed for customers like us, because paying Rs.800 per month is one thing while paying Rs.1600+ in totla would definetely be a burden on unemployed youths like us.
              I strongly agree with whatever has been posted by photon plus users. They promise wonders but deliver nothing and the billing procedure they follow is a hell. I doubt whether there is certain procedure for billing with them or they just bill as per their requirement. At least they should realize that people are not and pay what ever they bill.
              Tata Indicom has not got its act together regarding their product sales. It is astonishing that the dealer I bought Photon Plys Prepaid from, KG & Sons, 621/2, Dhobi Taloo, JSS Road, Dhobi Talao, Mumbai 400002, overcharged me Rs 500. The lady at the counter refused to accept that the prepaid was actually priced at Rs 3500 and not at Rs 4000. Besides, she charged me Rs 99 for SIM activation and Rs 650 for the first recharge.

              I complained promptly to Tata Indicom's customer service number who declined to accept my complaint and said if you are a prepaid subscriber, you need to call another number. With great difficulty, I got through the prepaid helpline only to be advised that there is nothing they can do and that I need to go to the nearest Tata Gallery and complain!!

              If a company thinks that it is alright for their dealers to fleece innocent retail customers, that company's future is sealed!!!

              Take Care TATA INDICOM< you need to know what customer service is about! I have got hurt by Rs 500, but you may get hurt by Crores of Rupees if this is how you allowed your genuine clients to be cheated and defrauded at the hands o[censored]nscrupulous dealers...dont you do any reference checks???

              I have complained about Barring of my TATA INDICOM USB internet Connection. I got surprised to hear that my internet connection has been Barred because the physical Bill which was dispatched was not received by me due to the address. (They were not able to trace my address but before giving me the USB one of there employee came to check the address). I have complained about it and the customer care executive was not cooperating.
              I purchased a Tata Photon Plus 15 days ago, which is not activated due to negligence on the part of the company. I submitted all the required documents and lodged complaints two times in the customer care. The complaint which remained unresolved even after a lapse of 10 days.               TATA Indicom — Faulty services / no readdressal

              We have a Tata Indicom connection from last 5 years, there was a scheme last year to upgrade your handsets we upgraded to a handset C 2 from the co. ever since we have bought the same it has been behaving abnormally, the line gets dicsonnected , the battery gets discharged in 15 - 20 minutes, the reciever end near the ear gets heated up and one starts getting a head ache. Despite repeated calls an engineer comes today and says this is normal feature with the phone back up is not more than 15 minutes you can ask any customer who is using this hand set. Declines to even check the same properly. We told him we will file a complaint he is it is ok with him.

              I think Tata Photon plus is not what it is shown in advertisement. I hail from north east India. The place of my residence is Guwahati, as everyone knows Guwahati is the only major city out of 7 states in north east india. Unfortunately, with the guarantee of downloading speed upto 3.1 Mbps, Tata has really been ripping off the customers by just providing paltry 25-30 Kbps downloading speed. A company which is charging a high amount of Rs 827 for just 2 GB space in the pretext of providing a downloading speed of 3.1 mbps is actually providing 25-30 kbps speed and that too in the centre of the city, i don't know how there name is not figured in the consumer redressal court.

              Apart from that it seems that they are not able to cover areas even in the centre of the Guwahati city. I have come to know from some sources that their tower is not working properly in guwahati city and their head office is ignorant about it. How one can provide good services with faulty towers? Tata Indicom CDMA service has already been a failure in north east, now if the Photon Plus service continues, I am sure its gonna be taken over by BSNL or Airtel someday.

              Probably MR RATAN TATA is more busy with his TATA CORUS and donating money for foreign universities, he should also little bit concentrate on his brand image here in his own country otherwise he gonna be compared with another ordinary Marwari business..

              I bought the Photon+ prepaid connection 2 days back and till now it is not been activated. I am tired of calling numbers, and what I get in return is just a mental torture!
              I feel that I am being fooled by such a BIG(?) company. Just imagine 2299 Rs. per device how much they have minted and not responding and not attending the customers. It is so irritating and irresponsible attitude of so called corporates.
              Shame on me who bought it!

              Hi TATA Photon is again worst tata had lived up to their mark of providing only a crap to its customer’s worst service. Funny thing is that the bill is based on time usage ie 60 hours monthly means two hours a day comes for 850 RS but you guys know one thing to download a video in Youtube of 5 min takes approximately 30 mins can you imagine when contacted the customer service they claim server is under maintenance so the net is slow if there is problem on their side why should we pay the bill?????? Which is based on time limit
              I think TRAI should take immediate action and stop this service and arrange compensation for all who purchased photon plus. Once it is out of order, you are gone. No customer service, no response from anywhere. Nobody answers in the toll free number. Within 15 days of purchase of photon+, it started showing error 678, 677 and I could not get any reply from any source after umpteen call. The local tata indicom store does not know anything, rather it asks me to contact a non-existent customer care. I am going to complain in consumer court and see that these people are booked for negligience.

              I have bought Tata Photon+ equipment from Michael in IBM Campus, Manyata, Bangalore on 5th March. I was scheduled to travel on the same day and he promised that this datacard will start working from 8th March. I am writing this letter on 26th March and it still is not working for me. There is no one from Tata Indicom who is helping me. I am trying their customer care no. from past one week and no one is picking the phone. There is no email address given on their site. I have paid 2000Rs and have not availed the service so far and dont even know what to do as no one from Tata Indicom is responding. I was given no. of Subhash Anthony and he cut my phone calls so I dont know whom to ask. Could you please help me!

              The customer service for TataPhoton is as atrocious as their speeds provided! I have the device since 12 Apr 10 and I could not surf with it at all. Yet I paid the initial charges of Rs2990 and the next bill of Rs 397 as i was given the assurance of the network being repaired. Now, I am told that there is NO repair being undertaken but the network itself is pathetic. They term it as "Indoor penetration problem"!!! This not only leaves me nearly Rs3500/- less but the Tata photon people say that they cannot refund the amount nor can they take back the device!!! Amazingly ridiculous! Its a TOTAL rip-off scheme.

                  I had surrended the instrument[LG-400T] in working condition to Ms.Shivani on 07-8-06 at Tata Teleservices Ltd. N-10, outer circle, Connught Place, New Delhi 110001.Prepaid FWP Retricval/Refund form bearing No.REF06012466, a/c No.[protected] and ESN no.1D17342D. Handset/instrument retreival receipt no.HRR 06-07/4778, Del no.65595155.Since then I made several visit to the said location for the refund but I came back disappointed.I may be contacted at Mob no.[protected].
                  I got cancelled my tel[protected]A/c No.[protected] on 6.3.09 vide cancellation of subscription No.[protected]. Last bill of Rs.179 paid on 24.3.09 vide receipt No.9151481.

                  To my surprise I have not yet received refund of security deposit of Rs.1000/- till now.

                  I have also visited twice your office at N 10 connaught place, New Delhi but no fruitful result has come out so far .

                  I, once again request you to refund Rs.1000/- security deposit at the earliest.

                    I had registered for DND at the time of taking my Tata Indicom phone connection, almost 2 years ago.I have been getting sales/marketing calls and SMSs ever since.I get calls from banks, credit card companies, holiday resorts, MBA institutes, and almost every product that can be sold.I get these calls and SMS at odd hours.There have been times when I have repeatedly told the marketing company representative that I do not require his product.Yet, they call and trouble me.What I would like to know is that is there a forum that I can approach with my problem, and get a resolution?If I have registered for DND, am I not supposed to be able to avail this facility?Was the entire concept of DND just a sham?Tata Indicom has the cheek to print the feature of DND on their bill for the month of May-June.I want to ask Tata Teleservices and the Government what is the purpose of printing the DND thing on the bill copy, when the feature is a useless piece and is just to make an utter fool of customers?Frankly, I feel that whatever problem I have written above will not have any resolution, and my complaint will remain a problem, forever.

                        Ref: -Complaint for wrongful activities of your one of Retailer situated at Tata Indicom, 570, Ratan Lal Nagar, Kanpur Nagar.
                        Dear Sir,
                        It is to inform you that the applicant/complainant purchased a HUAWEI C-2206 Mobile number bearing [protected] from 570, Ratan Lal Nagar, Kanpur Nagar at your authorized Tata Indicom Retail showroom last two months ago. My brother in law has purchased this Mobile along with all the accessories as a gift but without cash memo in original because the retailer said that cash memo shall be given to my brother in law in the evening and sends it to me at Allahabad saying that when I will come back again to Allahabad your cash memo shall be with us. In the meantime this mobile phone model no. HUAWEI C-2206 creates some problem like automatic switch off then I have decided to contact your authorized Tata Indicom service centre “Kripalu Electronic Agency” situated at Allahabad on 20th of June 2009. They demanded photo copy of original cash memo for repairing the aforesaid mobile which is fully covered with 12 months warranty. Then I requested to your Kanpur based Tata Indicom Retailer Mr. Saurabh for bringing original cash memo. He told me that “don’t worry, I am sending you scanned copy of your cash memo on your E-mail ID and you can produce it to your service centre.” I am very much obliged the conduct of Mr. Saurabh and told him to kindly send a scanned copy to Tata Indicom Service Center’ s Email ID also. I have sent two or three SMS regarding my email id and service center’s e-mail id to Mr. Saurabh and Mr. Gopal, the Tata Indicom Retailer based on 570, Ratanlal Nagar, Kanpur Nagar but since that day neither Mr. Saurabh sends a scanned copy to your Tata Indicom Service Center at Allahabad nor to me and when I went to take my mobile from your authorized service centre on 23rd of June 2009, they refused to return the same clarifying that no such type of mail has come. Consequently, from your service center’s office, I have made a several call to Mr. Saurabh and Mr. Gopal, the retailer of yours but Mr. Saurabh did not give any response till writing this complaint to you mean while Mr. Gopal received my phone and said that I will be send your cash memo through courier but till today no courier has also come. And further when I called to my brother in law for this matter he said that he is out of station and giving assurance to me that when he will come back in Kanpur, he shall sort out my problem.
                        Therefore, it is my humble request to you kindly; terminate your Tata Indicom Agency which is governed by Mr. Saurabh and Mr. Gopal who is very irresponsible and non reliable person of your agency and further send my original cash memo as soon as possible from your Retailer Tata Indicom, 570, Ratanlal Nagar, Kanpur Nagar at earliest.

                        I am Pravakar Satpathy(M-41), Puri-752001, Orissa, mobile: [protected].

                        I lost my mobile set with sim on 24th June’2009, Ratha Yatra (Chariot Festival). That I submitted (on 27.06.2009) my FIR copy with voter ID card and self pass photo to your office at Cuttack Road, Kalpana Square, for get back the same number. Then as per Mr. Sammya Ranjan Jena’s talk, I purchased a new mobile set (Huawei-C2206) against Rs.1160/- (Rs.1150/- for handset + Rs.10/- for recharge the sim).


                        After that I found price of above set is Rs.1100/- in all other Tata Indicom office and Franchise outlets. Secondary I confirmed new sim was unnecessary sold to me by Tata Indicom’s staff (Mr. Jena).


                        That I phoned Mr. Jena on 1st July, regards to above points. Where Mr. Alok Pattnaik misbehaved me over phone with threatening of Bhubaneswar locality guy. That, I gone to Cuttack Road Tata Indicom office at 5:30 PM (1st July) for clarify the matter. For which Mr. Alok (with Tata Indicom Shirt) and a non-uniformed guy brought me to 80-B, Bapuji Nagar Tata Indicom office. There Mr. Amiya Panda also changed pre-told (Rs.1100/-) price of the above set. Then Mr. Alok abused me inside Bapuri Nagar outlet and also loudly misbehaved me (more than 5 minutes) on outside of same Tata Indicom office. Then both Mr. Alok and non-uniformed guy gone away by their bike. I am sorry on the event by Tata Indicom staffs and I requesting for proper justice.


                        Being myself a Real Saint, Bachelor, Brahmin, Genuine and customer of Tata Indicom. I must not like illegal of Tata Indicom and everybody who supports to culprits or covering mistake of staff.


                        I need clarity and fair reply on Handset price, unnecessary sold sim and misbehaved of Mr. Alok Pattnaik.

                        I have been requested on customer care(121) to convert my postpaid connection in prepaid. I have been suggested to contact at nearest tata HUB. I visited Narmada Telecom Shop no. 07 near Salar Ganj Gate, Sukhdev Nagar. Panipat, Haryana. The person who was dealing with me at the counter said that it can not be convert. I again contacted at custemer care and tell them and lodge a compaint . Complaint no is[protected]. The custmer care executive suggested me to go once again and the problem will get sort out and postpaid connection will conver in prepaid within 3hrs. I went there and pay the whole amount which was due and given my I.D. and one photograph but 3 days has been past no action been taken. Kindly help.

                          i have given complaint to tataindicom customer care reg my network problem, they sent a technician to my house, he checked the signals and stated that it will be resolved with in 12 hrs, but after 48 hrs also the problem is not solved and instead of solving the problem got a call from tataindicom people stating that right now there is no proper signal connectivity in my area and it takes time and they didn't mention how much time it takes, but i asked whether it will take months or years they didn't specify ant time, when i have given complaint for several times they have stated my mobile problem and when technician came he said their n/w problem, whom to believe they are misguiding the people with out proper services.please help me in this regard...

                            I took broadband connection from Tata Indicom 4 days back. I was promised that I will get a download speed of 250 - 300 Kbps. However, after the installation was done, I get only 40 Kbps. I complained so many times to the customer care, but in vain. They ask me to do few things on the system, but I dont get any fruitful result.
                            i am having bandwidth of 384 Kbps right now. Before taking this connection, I was staying in a different place and there I had broadband with another service provider. There, my bandwidth was 256. Inspite of having lesser bandwidth than the current settings, I used to get download speed of 120 Kbps on an average.
                            I have already paid, 4 months money in advance and I wont get it back even if I discontinue the service.

                            I would recommend every person who wants to take internet connection, PLEASE DONT TAKE TATA INDICOM. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE.

                            Tata Indicom (Telecom services) — rude customer care exe & problem in connectivity

                            I am an existing customer of your esteemed company TATA indicom (Mobile). My number is [protected].I had purchased this mobile under a scheme of TWO YEAR OF OUT GOING FREE TO ANY TATA MOBILE .From yesterday ie 10/01/08 I am neither able to make any call nor able to receive any call.In the morning of 11/01/08,my friend spoke to Mr.Kalyan Customer care executive, he mentioned that there is some problem in a perticular system and the problem will be there till the 19/01/08. Nine days ,do any body understand what harresment a customer need to suffer?I dont think so thats why this problem one can see so often.The situation got worst when I spoke to Ms. SHARMISTHA another customer care executive.But she was not able to explain the problem and it seems she was in hurry to disconnect the phone as she was irritated.Finally she said THANK YOU FOR CALLING TATA INDICOM and disconnected the line abruptly.

                            WiMaX Broadband from Tata Indicom — Poor Connectivity and Less Bandwidth

                            I have taken a Broadband connection from TataIndicom. It is WiMax connection. The plan is 384 kbps, unlimited with a rental of 1000 per month.

                            Unfortunately, I have taken a prepaid connection for a period of six months by paying Rs 6000/- 10 days back.

                            The connectivity problems are these almost every day and I need 30 min on phone with customer to get the problem solved and it is very difficult especially when I need it most for the office work. Also, it adds upto my cell phone bill.

                            I have complained multiple times about the low speeds(100kbps and some times as low as 50 kbps) as against promised 384 kbps. The low speeds are even confirmed by customer care representatives during their troubleshooting and they promissed that problem will be solved.

                            Please let me know if there is any way I can get back my money from TataIndicom.They it is not possible as it is prepaid, but is unfair as they are not providing the service.

                            The speed specified by the company is 384Kbps/kbps (kilo-bits per second) and according to me you are complaining here as you get 40KBps(Note it's Capital B, it means bytes) while downloading a file.
                            The KBps(Kilo Bytes per second) and kbps/Kbps(kilo bits per second) are very much different. The following will explain you :
                            1KB(Kilo-Byte) = 8Kb/kb(kilo-bit)
                            thats 384kbps = 48KBps and as you have said, the company says you will receive anything between 200kbps to 300kbps is true as you are receiving 40KBps( thats 320kbps).

                            And any speed above 256kbps(32KBps) is a broadband, according to Indian telecom authority.

                            In general, the Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox/Download Accelerator/FDM/Download Manager, show speed in Kilo-Bytes per second(KBps) and not in Kbps/kbps(kilo-bits per second)

                            It all a technical details which is not been explained by the company to the customer.

                            If you are having problem that, you are getting only 40kbps(Kilo-bits per second) instead of 40KBps(Kilo-Bytes per second) then you must complaint to the details provided here in the following url

                            i took tata wi max connection one month back, its really worst connection comparing to other services, download speed is very poor connection

                            I took a broadband wi-max connection on oct 25th at 15:30 pm .When i took the connection the sales man said me that the speed will be 380kbps, but there is no such speed.I am facing so much of problem with this wi max connection.

                            When I talk to the customer care they said me to check the speed by giving this url http://202.54.49.194/registration/speedtest/index.html.I done with this url i checked the speed but it is less than 50 % of thier calculation.Customer executive said me that, yes sir u r not receiving that much of speed, at that time call got disconnected.I don't know, he disconnected the call or it got disconnected. At last I want to say is that ITS AN WORST SERVICE PROVIDER FOR INTERNET.

                            TATA Indicom wimax — AWFUL SPEED AND RELIABILITY

                            I get a speed of 20 Kbps though I have paid for 750 Kbps. When these guys came to install they knew the signal was weak in my area, even though they went and installed it. I have paid an advance of 7k to them and now I don't know what to do. Their engg. visited me many times but cannot do a to fix it.

                            I have all the proofs of low speed.

                            Can someone please tell me how I can sue them ? I have had enuf !!! I am never buying any TATA product in my whole life.

                            My Internet plan is the Infinity 384 which promises a speed of 384 kbps.When i called them up as the connection was slow they said that the speed will work on 80% of the strength. This is ridiculous as Tata Indicom is cheating all o[censored]s and making quick money. Few days ago i saw the download speed reach a staggering figure and it continued for a good 3 hours. I thought it would last forever when it got disconnected and the speed hit the normal abysmal rate which the Tata Indicom cheaters boast of and are never ashamed to admit that they cheat not to mention the service representatives are very rude and have the uncanny ability to gen on my nerves almost every time i call them...

                            Please refrain from getting a Tata Indicom connection.

                            I Have taken your WI-MAX(Power Flash Plan 256) connection in the month Sept.2009 till December mid. I was having no trouble in speed especially during night. Off let I am having very slow speed for which I am having problem using Skype e-phone ; I hope you will look into the matter seriously so that I can continue using Tata Broadband or else I have to go for some other similar company.                               I am prepaid walky customer from the lasl three years in delhi Dilshard garden area. But I having problem in my phone from the last 2 to 3 weeks. The problem is that if someone is calling to me on my

                              This mail is regarding the poor customer service support of your service network. I purchased Tata Mobile connection & I got the HUAWEI C2206 handset.
                              From the very first month I got the network problem itself. Firstly we thought it's a network problem from the Tata Indicom but my second connection of Tata is working properly.
                              After talking to customer care many times we came to know that there is a problem in handset itself.
                              After tracing your service station we submitted the handset to Redington(India) Limited, E-48/4, First Floor, Okhla Indl. Area, Phase-II, New Delhi-110020, Tel:[protected] on 12-01-10. They told that they check the phone & revert back after 3 to 4 days. When we call them they told that there is some problem in the particular part.
                              They told it has been ordered & it took 5-7 days to repair.
                              We got the same responce day after day. So, finally after much wait I took my phone back on 01-02-10. The lady in the service center told that she can't know when this phone is going to repaired, it will took 10 days or 30 days they can't know the excepted time. Is this the behaviour the customer got from the service center representative.
                              After checking my phone I got that there is no display in the phone itself.
                              So, finally told that if a customer is spending Rs. 1, 200 on your phone it's a worth or not. You & Tata Indicom are making fool of the customer itself.
                              I write a mail to Tata Indicom also as they are providing your company instrument and making money by fooling the customers.

                                I had a Tata Internet Connection. Which I disconnected on December 2008. Approximately half an hour back I had a call from a certain Mr. R.C Choudhary who claims to work at Tiz Hazari Court as an “LDC”. He claimed that I have a court case filed against me by a Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar who he claimed was a lawyer representing Tata Tele Services. To say the tone of Mr. R.C Choudary was rude was to say the least. After threatening to have me in court he asked me to contact Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar. Sanjeeb asked me to file the outstanding amount immediately at a Tata Indicom Outlet within one hour if I did not want a court case filed against me.
                                I walked upto a Tata Indicom outlet and payed the requested amount in full. However when I looked into the details it appears that:

                                1. I have not used the account post December
                                2. My request in December to close the account has not been noted down and not been followed through

                                This despite the fact that I have filed the application in writing and attached a copy of my PAN card. I still have a xerox of the closing letter I handed in on December. Tata Teleservices has through sheer stupidity or malice not closed my account and has continued to bill me rental for the next four months. To top it all of, neither was this rental bill forwarded to my email id, and the call center people who used to bug me every month haven’t bothered to explain why I have an outstanding charge.

                                The icing on the cake was to have two people call you up in the middle of a working day and threaten you with a court case for non payment of dues. I have just talked to a Mr. Ashish Chakraborty who has promised me that the payment I made would be refunded through a non-usage waiver and the constant irritation that is the Tata Indicom Call Service would also be halted immediately. Thank you so much Mr. Ashish! I am happy. However you have just broken the cardinal rule of customer service. Never piss of a customer before placating him. I have had to waste half a productive day in office, I had to endure your call center people for three months, all thanks to a mistake which you neither have the courtesy or the good grace to accept. I certainlly would not like to recommend a Tata Indicom connection to anyone if this is the current level of service were to continue.

                                I have put down the names and numbers of the jokers for future reference here. I don’t know if these guys are actually associated with any legal firm or are just paid for muscle hired by Tata Indicom. In any case if you do get a call from any of these numbers do feel free to tell them what they are:

                                  Dear Sir / Madam,

                                  This is in reference to my telephone connection with details as mentioned above. I am in receipt of your latest Bill No:[protected] dated 17/06/09 for Rs.3986.24/- & with a total outstanding dues of Rs.12406/-. In this context following facts are revealed for your updation in the matter:-

                                  That I took the above connection vide Appl form No:00914303 on 6th March 2008 under your Walky 2 year ZERO rental plan against payment of an amount of Rs.1622/-

                                  That since inception till the billing dated 14 Jan'09 the connection was working smoothly.

                                  That a problem of Faulty instrument was lodged to your customer care around 28th Jan'09 for which a technician from your company came & after checking the same extended his comments that my phone has been cloned, and went of. Subsequently to this incident I interacted several times on phone with your customer care, senior officers & even the nodal officers regarding my dead phone as well as its cloning but every time received same reply that it is being worked out & your phone has been LOCKED. To name a few according to my rememberance, On 4th Feb'09 your executive Mr.Rajesh Chauhan gave me the complaint id:[protected]. On 25th Feb'09 at around 10:52 AM your Nodal officer Mr.Arvind was told with the whole problem and again id:[protected] was communicated to me. But when the problem still remain unresolved till 25th Feb, the day as committed by Tata indicom people, I then sent a mail too on 25th Feb to the Customer care as well as to the nodal officer. In response I received a mail on 2nd March stating that the complaint is in progress vide docket no:[protected] & WILL BE RESOLVED BY 4TH MARCH'2009. Again I enquired the status thru mail on 5th March for which I received reply only on 10th March that the COMPLAINT STILL LIES UNDER PROCESS vide docket no:[protected]. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE & UNDOUBTEDLY WHAT A QUICK RESPONSE. In fact I should have felt Obliged.

                                  One more very Amazing Fact cannot be left Unseen. When the CREDIT LIMIT in my Bill has been specified as Rs.1500/- then how cum Tata Indicom allowed the bills to escalate to an amount like 12000/-or more without even having any check on it. THIS REALLY IS A POINT OF INVESTIGATION WHERE WE CAN EVEN DRAW A FACT THAT THIS CLONING OR CROSS CONNECTION MAY HAVE BEEN DONE IN ASSISTANCE IN KNOWLEDGE WITH SOME STAFF MEMBERS OF THE COMPANY.

                                  Since this malfunctioning of your telephone connection was sighted, I stopped paying any amount against these unauthorised bills. Only after 25th March 2009 when your Nodal officer confirmed me on phone that the case has been resolved & with just a mere deposit of Rs.100/- everything would be normal including my telephone & there will not be any further problem / cloning in future. On good faith & to save from any further complications in restoring my connection, without any objection I paid vide cheque of ICICI Bank for Rs.100/-. My connection with all facilities was restored as said to be normal by 1st week April'09.

                                  Again to my utter surprise when I started receiving my subsequent bills I found from the details mentioned therein that the same problem of HACKING/CLONING was highlighted from 16th April'09. So once again I started with the same exercise of calling your Nodal officer Mr. Keswani on 20th April'09 and recd an id:[protected] & same assurance to get the same rechecked again at their end. Again with Mr.Sunil thru docket no:[protected], then kept interacting with almost all your executives, I presume, Mr.Vineet Bhatia, Mr.Arvind, Mr.Rahul Gupta, Lastly even with your Team leader Mr.Ahmad. Thereafter some strange situations were faced. Maximum times the line was dead and phone not working, sometimes it started & phone from your company's executives used to come claiming to be trials and asking me to call. Situations as strange to be narrated happened daily.

                                  SINCE THEN IT WAS A VERY EMBARASSING PERIOD & MORE OR LESS A MENTAL TORTURE FOR ME, MY FAMILY & MY RELATIVES WHO USED TO CALL ME BUT ENDED SOMEWHERE ELSE ROUND THE CITY.

                                  That now I had packed up the instrument & trying to come out of this nightmare but unfortunately your bills with enormous dues are still a regular affair which keep arriving at my doorstep keeping me disturbed & nurtured.

                                  TO BE PRECISE THIS TELEPHONE CONNECTION DEEMS TO BE FULLY PAID WITHOUT ANY DUES TILL DATE ON MY PART AGAINST MY TOTAL USAGE .HENCEFORTH I DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE WITH ANY RELATIONS OF ANY SORT WITH YOUR COMPANY AND HENCE THE SAME NOW STANDS SURRENDERED FROM MY SIDE. I HEREBY AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS / DUES / ISSUES / MISUSES OF ANY SORT AS IN THE PAST OR IN FUTURE FOR THIS TELEPHONE CONNECTION LINE NO:[protected]. NOW THIS RESPONSIBILITY BECOMES TOTALLY OF YOUR COMPANY FOR WHATSOEVER ACTION.

                                  INSTEAD I NOW CLAIM FOR :-

                                  1.DAMAGES AGAINST MY HARASSMENTS - UNLIMITED...

                                  2.REFUND OF MY INITIAL AMOUNT OF RS.1622/- paid at the time of installation of the same, as your company has proven to be unfit in fulfilling the commitments as promised at the time of extending this new connection & has been unable to provide smooth connection for even one complete year, whereas the offer was of rent free for two full years against such an hefty amount.

                                  3.REFUND of my amount of Rs.100/- which was deposited on 25th March against your commitment of an OK connection which also had proved to be false.

                                  NOW I SEEK AN HONEST & JUSTIFIED DECISION FROM ALL THE PERSONS WHOM I AM APPEALING FOR A FAIR JUDGEMENT TO GET MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK & SAVE ME FROM ANY FURTHER MENTAL TORTURE.

                                  HENCEFORTH TO MENTION ONCE AGAIN THAT THIS TELEPHONE CONNECTION NO:[protected] STANDS TERMINATED FROM MY SIDE & I DECLARE THE WITHDRAWAL OF MY OWNERSHIP ON IT.

                                  I am a customer of TATA INDICOM from last 6 years. The TATA customers dont have security regarding the call record which is privacy for the customers. If any of the citizen can go the nearset office and ask the call record of any number of their choice. That means any customer can take the call record of thier neighbouring.This may cause very dangerous to the customers. One of my neighbour has taken my phone record from the nearest office of TATA. They event ask the proof for the record they blindly given the record. Please take it as seroius ..

                                    i want to set a caller tone like a song " lub pe aathi hai dua banke" its a urdu song, and i want to set it as my caller tone, in my conversation with executuve of tata indicom, he told to me to send a sms with first three letters of sond and send it to 12800, and i did the same, but i got a reply like club option of three different types, i send sms for three times, even i got same reply sms . so what should i do in this regard. i want my callers should listen "lub pe aathi hai dua banke". do something in this regard

                                      I am Sagar Anvekar. I was having a TATA broadband service which was disconnected in Jan 2009. The guy came from TATA and collected Router, Power adapter and Rossette box on 6th Feb and gave me a receipt. After that, I got 4 calls from Indicom asking about router return even I gave it back to them. I told them that I returned those things and not to call me back. The topic was over for few months, but yesterday, I got a notice from S.R.S. Advocates & Associates. The Language used in notice is like I stole their router worth Rs. 700/- even I paid a Rs.4500(4 months plan) for their connection. And they also want me to pay Rs 500 as a cost incurred by TATA indicom for sending the notice.
                                      So, Indicom wont let you free even you disconnect their connection.
                                      Enclosing the copy of Notice as well as the Receipt which I got at the time of equipment return.

                                        Sir, I had taken the TATA Indicom Plug 2 surf in late February which acctivated on 18th Fav 2009
                                        Its under free for 1st 2 months post paid 799/899 plan. well before I take the plan it was said by the retailer that I will get at least 50Kbps speed (My plan was 799/899 unlimited) but I don't know why but from the date of activation I never get more then 15kbps download speed. I complained in their office (RMS Chowmuhuni) regarding the speed but they didnt give me any suitable answer. whatever that's not my problem.
                                        After complete of 3 months I went for de-activation and surrendered the "SIM". In front of me they even break it into two piece and accepted my surrender. But after one month they send me a bill showing that I have a 606/- rupees painding. And for that reason it was not surrendered so I have to pay more one month' pay.
                                        That means now they want around 1300/- from me. My question is if they already accept my surrender and give me the surrendered copy then why I have to pay those bills? And if it is not surrendered because of that prev. balance (606/- Rs) then why didn't they give me a early warning, why they are telling me this after One month..? today (16.06.2009) I pay more 606/- Rs (that is their showing balance when I was there at the time of surrender the Sim) But Now I don't wana pay more. That because that extra bill was calculated after my surrender. And I have the proof also for that.
                                        Please advice me what I have to do and how can I stand with my rites.

                                        I purchased Plug 2 Surf modem at New Panvel on 6th Aug 08 from AAKASH TELECOM New Panvel.
                                        My Plug 2 Surf device has not been working since the time I bought it and a complaint was lodged through the shop. The service engineer after inspecting the device informed me that I will be required to Visit the Vashi Tata Indicom Customer Care Hub.
                                        I visited the Tata Customer Care Hub at Vashi on 4th Sept 09.
                                        Tata Customer Care HUB at Vashi asked me to go to Chembur to Authorised service centre o[censored]SB Modem i.e. UCOM TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD at Chembur, Mumbai.

                                        On 5th Sept 09 I handed over the USB Modem to UCOM TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD at Chembur, Mumbai. anUCOM Technology informed me that I will have to wait for a replacement and they will inform me after they get the replacement. After making various phone calls, on 24th Sept 08 I am being informed by UCOM TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD Chembur, Mumbai that they will give me a DO and on that basis I will be getting the replacement for the modem from the shop I purchased the device

                                        It has been about 1.5 months since the time I bought the Modem and Sim card No. [protected] and 20 days since I handed over it for replacement.

                                        I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED WITH THE MANNER IN WHICH THE WHOLE MATTER HAS BEEN DEALT AND THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY

                                        I bought Tata Indicom's Plug2Sur[censored]SB connection as a backup for my MTNL internet. It worked for the normal internet. But it is not working if I try to connect to my client's VPN. Perhaps it blocks some tunnelling. Therefore it is not at useful to me. There is nobody to listen to and nobody to service to. I don't know where to go with my complaint. When I try their cust care number, there is a series of automated responses which never leads to customer service executive where you can talk to someone. There is some fraud in their customer care number 12525. You never reach to anyone and the automated voice response ensures that you are in circles. Govt should look into this fraud. Has anybody successfully talked to anyone on 12525 in Mumbai?

                                        Its under free for 1st 2 months post paid 799/899 plan. well before I take the plan it was said by the retailer that I will get atleast 50Kbps speed (My plan was 799/899 unlimited) but I dont know why but from the date of activation I never get more then 15kbps download speed. I complained in their office (RMS Chowmuhuni) regarding the speed but they didnt give me any suitable answare. whatever thats not my problem.
                                        After complete of 3 months I went for de-acvtivation and surrendered the "SIM". Infront of me they even brak it into two piece and accepted my surrender. But after one month they send me a bill showing that I have a 606/- rupeese painding. And for that reason it was not surrendered so I have to pay more one month' pay.
                                        That means now they want arround 1300/- from me. My question is if they already accept my surrender and give me the surrendred copy then why I have to pay those bills? And if it is not surrendered because of that prev. balance (606/- Rs) then why didnt they give me a early warning, why they are telling me this after One month..? today (16.06.2009) I pay more 606/- Rs (that is their showing balance when I was there at the time of surrender the sim) But Now I dont wana pay more. That becuase that extra bill was calculated after my surrender. And I have the proofe also for that.
                                        Please advice me what I have to do and how can I stand with my rites.

                                        2 Months free complete: 18.04.2009
                                        Date of surrender : 20.05.2009 with Rs. 1040/-
                                        today I paid more: 780/- (606/- + tax)
                                        they want more: Around 700/- - 800/-
