[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Photon Plus — No Customer Service

Did you know that Tata Indicom Photon Plus is the only best product introduced by Tata Indicom. Even though it doesnt work everywhere its speed is very good. There is a main problem with it. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR IT. I tried calling cutomer numbers total 7 numbers. No one knew what to do. They keep passing the problem to the other phone number (not passing between departments but phone numbers). Finally I tried to email them. There too I receive only phone numbers. THE SAME PHONE NUMBERS. Then all of a sudden I receive an email saying My Problem has been solved and that they are closing the complaint!!! Say WAT????? To hell with them. If any of you know the correct customer care number pls do let me know. Thank You.

sir, i m using tata photon + n some where in may i recd lot of calls saying that u will get a sim card in which u hav 2 pay only Rs/149 n 400 min free call u will get thanks i recd a sim card well in time but till 2day it is not functional i requested lot of people in NASIK but no body understand my pliet i request u personally plz look in 2 the matter sim which recd no is [protected] MAJOR DEVANAND SINGH (NASIK)

I have taken a tata photn plus device just a week back. While taking the deivce I was assured that it will be connected to VPN, but I could not check it as the device was not activated at that time.
Now the organization in which I work is not ready to give any special permission to connect to VPN from photon plus. Now I am not interesed in keeping the device anymore.I would like to return the device.
Please reimburse my amount.
Tata Photon Plus is the worst ever service I have ever faced in my life. First they suddenly disabled my connection telling me I have to pay my bill, but it was just 4 days after billing cycle & I didn't even receive the bill from them. Also, my internet connection is pathetic, it keeps getting disconnected every 3-4 mins and stays off for few mins. It is very frustrating and I have received the worst service from the customer care. First they told me about some troubleshooting steps, which never helped. Then I was promised somebody will visit me for technical assistance, nobody came. I kept calling them everyday and got the same promises that somebody will visit me. It has been almost 2 weeks and no help from their side. I even called Nodal officer's office, but no result. I will now file a case against them. I am extremely frustrated and it is giving me great stress. I request anyone thinking about TATA teleservices product, FORGET IT.
TATA Photon company is cheating customers. There is no proper Customer Care Department.

Don't go for TATA Photon Plus.
i have a tata photon+ ... which is also having a pen drive feature.

for that i purchased a micro sd card of Rs500/- but but the bloody good news is that this tata photon is not at showing ur memory card.

i suggest u guys plz chek the device before finalizing the deal... !!!

As you know that each and every customer of your Telecom Service is very valuable to you as because they are a so bricks of your building, but are you sure, all of your staff are thinking as same as you? Since I have a very worst experience during taking “Tata Photon+” connection which DEL No. [protected] from your Kolkata office. On 16th of July 2010 at 3:14 P.M., I have activated “Tata Photon+” connection as per your repeated telephonic request and submitted my photo ID and residential proof as instruction/direction of your Marketing Executive (Mr. Gouri Shankar Maiti, Mobile No. [protected], Kolkata). As per scheme before expiry of 100 minutes free Internet Use, I found my “Tata Photon+” connection has been disconnected/suspended without any notice ant not a single phone call. I have received from your so call responsible staffs for reason of disconnection/suspended, when I have communicated with your above executive to know the reason of disconnection, they intimated me that my document are not proper and they advice me to re-submitted the document as per the company rules and accordingly I have re-submit my all document to Mr. Gouri Shankar Maiti, Mobile No. [protected], Kolkata on 20.07.2010 at my office (Doordarshan Kendra, Golf Green, 4th floor, Kolkata-95) at 3:45 P.M. with the hope, my above connection will re-connected within 36 hours. But it is very bad full fact that my above Net Connection was not re-connected till 24.07.2010 upto 3:14 P.M. and I have to go to your Salt Lake Office (SRIJAN TECH PARK, 15TH FLOOR, SECTOR-5, DN-52, SALT LAKE-91) as well as Ultadanga Office (Tata Teleservices Ltd. C/o VIDESH SANCHAR BHAWAN, 1/18, CIT SCHEME VIIM, ULTADANGA, KOLKATA-54) to know the reason on disconnection as because Mr. Arijit Saha, Mobile No. [protected], your Senior Executive who dealing my case from beginning and he use me as a shuttle cock, as because when I communicated with him by phone, he only give the assurance by today and tomorrow and ultimately he was intentionally not give my connection. Within the stipulated time, during quarry on 24.07.2010 from your Kolkata Ultadanga Office, I came to know from your system that my document was not submitted by Mr. Arijit Saha, Mobile No. [protected] that very late and your Ultadanga Office communicated with him over phone to know the reason of disconnection and they asked Mr. Arijit Saha, whether he can able to give the above connection present now, Mr. Arijit Saha deliberately answered “NO” since all this discussion has been happened in front of me. Sir, from 16.07.2010 to 24.07.2010 I have dialed to Mr. Arijit Saha more than 100 times, some time he received my call and maximum time he dishourned only to avoid me and for that I have bound to used the different mobile to connect him only to know the latest status of my Photon+ connection. Sir, I don’t know Mr. Arijit Saha, physically or personally but it is my question why he has harass me like anything, whether it is his practice or any other intension? I don’t know you have lost how many of your valuable customer till to date. I hope you will take the proper step in this regard immediately to protect your valuable customer who built your long to longer.

hi...tata photon is really bad...i hav lost my mind & money...dey hav d worst customer care service in globe...none of d ppl working der no anythng abt tata photon...useless ppl...everytym u cal u get a new info frm dem...2days bac i got a connection of tata photon ard 6 in evenin fr 1 gb bt by downloadin just 2 songs dey said my usage has crossed over & is nw negative...wtf???? wen u cal dem & tel dem 2 transfer 2 deir senior dey cut d cal...pls guys never go 4 tata products jst useless...pathetic...sick...dead...

Dear Sir, I am user of tataphoton plus mobile internet device no [protected],Apda Haran Singh,present add.154,Yamaha Vihar,sector 49 Noida, Gautam Budh nagar U.P. for last 06 months.For last 60 days I am facing connectivity problem with the Divice. inspite of 05 complaints in july n mid of Aug.further this fortnight comp noPTC-[protected] of 21 aug. n comp. no PTC-[protected] of 22 Aug. and calls on [protected] the coustmer care n calls on 011 66558101 Mr Gurvinder Kohli in person i am lying un attended.

what i feel is I am cheated by renowned company like tata.

So i would like to request you to look in to the matter n help me as you can
PHORGET PHOTON!! I signed up on 26 July for one-month unlimited. A day before this was due to expire I paid for another month. Even though Tata Indicom acknowledges that there should be no break in coverage they have cut me of[censored]ntil I pay Rs 750 for bizarre charges. They were generated in ta 4 hour period on the last day of my first month's coverage. They acknowledge that this was during a time of "unlimited" coverage, and cannot explain the charges. But they insist I pay before restoring my service!

It has been 4 months I have complained for the problem in my connection and nobody is willing to respond or resolve. I have been paying the rental without any usage from last 2 months...Everytime the engineer comes and takes the coordinates and after that no call...the only calls I get for the collection of payment. I will not pay any penny now.

Also do reverse the amount paid without usage and cancel the connection. I want to get the amount refunded for the device...let me know whom to escalate. I want to take it to the higher authorities...call me after 7 PM all days...will not attend your calls before that...

Thanks everyone for sharing your problems with TATA Photon. I thought of taking Photon Plus but I don't want to use it now. I don't want to be a victim of Photon again. Thanks again.

never pucchase tata photon plus, it's a useless device, very poor speed and customer service is nothing...it's just a formality to mark ur complains but nothing to do..i don't know what to do these cheaters...they make us fool...

TATA PHOTON PLUS LOOTING CUSTOMERS

I bought tata photon plus from chandigarh on 29.07.2010 I was told by the customer care that I would be given 200 Rs discount for 12 months on purchase of tata photon plus on my postpaid bill but when I purchased I was told that this offer is not applicable in chandigarh. Had I been told that before buying I would not have purchased tata photon connection.
Not only that when I got my second month bill i.e of September my bill was inflated by 384 Rs under the name HSIA usage charge, my bill was supposed to be 950 as I have opted for 5gb plan for Rs 950 and I have used only 3 gb but I was charged 1474 Rs . I cant understand why they are looting customers. When I analyzed my bill I found that my 1st bill was also inflated by 200 Rs, again in the name of HSIA usage name, when I called up the customer care the response was also not very positive I was supposed to get the refund of total 384+200 = 584 but was given only 500 Rs refund that too after calling them thrice and explaining them the tedious details of the bill .I was told by the customer care representative that it is not under his control to refund more than 500 Rs Have I not looked upon my 2nd bill they would continue charging and inflating my bill . I feel that there are many such innocent customers who are already in trap and are not aware of over billing .This post is to AWARE the TATA PHOTON PLUS customers to get aware of the over billing and fraud ness of tata photon billing and business strategy to loot INDIANS.

Its really shamfull thing that some of the third person utilises and access my internet connection and company customer care says they don't have any tools to track that.!? i have spoken with four differnt executives and all are very well trained in giving fals commitment towards the problem, spoke to them hours to gether each time i have to reapeat wat problem i was facing it means the employees doesn have time to update the complaints sooo busy TATA employees in chit chating it seems.

jus two days back i have migrated from postpaid to prepaid due to nonsense service of the TATAPHOTON
thinkin not to disconnect lets make it as prepaid and use it when required but here also the big concern. even after recharging company employee says your account bal is nill so need to recharge again when i was not used it at all. m raising complaint not b'cos i lost 200 bucks i don't want this to happen in future else it will be like i will be keep on recharging and some else will keep on eating the fruit of it.

this is pathetic and nonsense service i ever seen in my life...

Hi Guys,

Be aware of tata indicom. specially those under corporate scheme(ibm). while subscribing they will the most gentle person. but once you get tied with them, they will treat you the most badly. I upgraded from 10gb to 15 gb. yet mu credit limit did not increased and all of a sudden they deactivated my account at a point when my connection was crucial. Now they are demanding that i make interim payment of amount which is more than the estimated bill, only then my service will be activated. this is just black mailing.
