Hi, I had applied for tata indicom wimax on 12th march 2009 and it never worked from day one and they haven't given my cheque till date. And now the main tata communications office people are switching off my their phone if i call them please help me get my money.

Hi Sangamesh,

I request you to terminate my TATA Wimax connection. I first decided to go for TATA Wimax as I thought TATA is much better than Reliance, I called up Hanumanth Reddy from Mr Ashutosh’s of National Games Village (NGV) office on 11th of march at 2pm. Hanumanth came to my house at 2:45pm and collected the cheque, I was happy for the promises made by Hanumanth at the time of payment that I would get the wimax connection by 7pm the same day and he told me how fast his service was and there are about 600 happy customers in Viveknagar alone. He also promised me to be at my place at the time of installation and at that time if I am not happy with the Internet he will give my cheque back and terminate the service. With this mouth watering offer I was happy to give him the cheque but I did not get the connection by 7pm so I kept calling Hanumanth and he was yet insuring me that the connection will be done by 8pm and finally he switched off his phone by 8pm and I was helpless as I knew he did it intentionally. Now I was really feeling cheated, next day I kept calling Hanumanth but he gave the phone to his friends and they told he went out all the time and I knew that he was again telling lies. Santosh called me up and came to my house and installed the connection then later checked the speed and it was showing a download speed of 5kbps which I have mentioned in the service letter given by Santosh of which original copy is with you. I even called Hanumanth in the presence of Santosh but then he never took the call and kept giving it to his friends, even Santosh is aware of Hanumanth’s ignorance. Then Santosh had to leave to some other place for installation so I let him go and he ensured me that I would get the speed after he left, which is again a fake promise. Now I used the internet and it was slow so I put it off and later in the evening it wasn’t working again. I called up customer care many times and you can check my complaint numbers in my id [protected]@vsnl.net and then no one came at first complaint, again I called up and after many days on 16th March Mr Ravi came and addressed my issue and replaced the whole system i.e Antenna and the modem which connects to my computer. Ravi also found out that I was getting a speed of 18kbps to 22kbps which is again really poor speed. Then I had no option left and went out to locate Ashutosh’s office at NGV and after searching for hours I got the office and told Ashutosh my problem and the promises made by Hanumanth who is now absconding and Ashutosh did not care for my problem and told me to stand out of his office and my problems are non of his concern and I should be contacting the customer care not him. I understand they are the sales office but I wanted to tell him the promises Hanumanth made and he and his boss cared less for my issue. They kept me waiting for 3hrs outside their office and later I felt they are cheating me and they care for their own commission and not my problem. I took Suresh’s number who is the team lead for sales in Ashutosh’s office and left from their. Next day again I went to Ashutosh’s office for help but the behaved really rude with me and wanted me to wait out and not come inside his office. I requested him to send a person to my house and check if the internet was working and Suresh (Team lead) visited my place and found out that internet was not working and spoke to Ashutosh from my house and I requested Ashutosh to cancel my service and I wont disturb him anymore but Ashutosh asked me for a last try from his side and he requested that he will send a person and fix my connection but I did not want the service anymore as I was humiliated at Ashutosh’s office by Ashutosh and lastly today I again went to his office with my mother and I am really ashamed to tell you how he spoke to my mother and me today and even Kalidas at his office both were making reasons to call the wood street office when we forced he approached me to scare me off and at that time my mother was there with me and he almost came to hit me. I have my exams next week and I haven’t studied anything since this Wimax issue. I wanted a good internet service from TATA but really I faced a very bad situation in front of my mother. I was helpless when Ashutosh approached on me, Sangamesh I really hope I get back my money and never I will think about TATA Wimax in my life. Typing such long emails is really not a joke I hope you understand my problem. I had all my dignity sitting back home, god knows why I met a cheap graded person like Ashutosh.

Other sales representative Mr Venkatesh also left the job at NGV office and he called me up today to ask about this issue and even he told me that he left the job because everyday some one or the other came and had this issue and few people got some guys to get their money back which I really don’t want to do. I can even go legally as my uncle is MA Saleem (DIG) but I don’t want to go as I have my exams and I don’t want this mess, I requested my mother not to tell this issue to my uncle and wait at least till my exams. I really don’t know how Ashutosh doesn’t have little respect to a woman, he even told her “you shut up we know our job” Tell me if someone told your mother like that will you keep quite? Or if some one asks your mother to stand out and not come in, wont you feel bad? I decided to get a internet connection on 11th but ended up writing a long email like this on 18th its really hard to believe. This bitter experience I will never forget in my life, I suggest if you are giving a vendor service to some organization see that they have a strong background and they don’t hire people like Hanumanth reddy for sales. Concentrate on quality service not the quantity as these things run on a word of mouth and I would never suggest anyone to go for this service, its rather good to stay without an internet connection than going in for humiliation of family.
Please look into this matter very seriously and I don’t need to tell you what has to be done.

And Mr Sangamesh thank you for your support, I really felt good when I spoke to you today because I always spoke to people from Ashutosh’s office where I felt cheated, I even wrote to Priya today and she also addressed my problem very well. Thanks to you both.

tata indicom wimax connection — not get refund

my name is vivek borsania and i had applied for tataindicom wimax broadband on 19/08/2008 as same name. but because of low connectivity i was cancled after few days. and company person told that money will refund within 60 days but i didnot get my refund yet...

Tata Wi-Max — Money not refunded

Hi guys,

I have been waiting since last one year for refund of money through TATA Wi-Max. Tata have not refunded my security money. When I was decided for quit, I have intimate them to stop my service by end of the month. Tata have just stopped my service before completion of month for which I have already paid them. After that I have raise a request for security refund but they were always pretend and made different excuses. Actually they are not willing to refund that money. I have submitted their equipments also. At last it seems like they understood customer is dud.

So, kindly make sure when you are going to disconnect your service. They did not have any type of refund policy of security money. They do not have good customer support also.

Still I am also not believe that TATA which has a huge emperor in business world they are giving such type service and for future I am not gonna stuck such type of service and fake policies.

        I have taken the connection on 23rd March, 09 in Pimpri-17 area by paying Rs.5500/- as advance rental for 4 months. After 8 days the internet has stopped working. I have made several complains by calling their call centre each time they say that max within 8 hours the problem will be resloved. Initially they said their server is down next time when I called the local engineer he said there is no permission to lay cable at my place so the cable is cut down.They never checked this before giving the connection, and now they are neither ready to give service nor refund my money back. Today is the 6th day still the issue persist and still they say that they are working on it and the problem will resolved in 8 hours. Never go for Tata Indicom Broadband Internet it is sincre suggestion. They survive on our hard earned money, it would be better if you give your valuable money to a begger rather than wasting in this way. Now when I call the local service engineer from Tata he says "Madam aaj ke baad mujhe call Mat Karo", N the guy who sold this connection who took the payment now does not attend my call. They should be screwed immediately. Never Ever think of taking Tata Indicom Broadband in Pimpri.
        You are right, Pratibha Sharma. But, internet thro' Tata Indicom CDMA technology card is very good in PCMC area.
        Bandwidth - Roundabout 200 kbps
        Connectivity - Very good
        Rent - 800 rupees/month
        Download limit - Unlimited
        Totally agree with the person who had such horrible experience with Tata indicom. My experience in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, is almost identical.

        1. Over 90% of the time I don't get internet service. Technical support is totally inadequate, nobody
        has a clue why the server is down. Nothing gets done in spite of several phone calls. They don't
        keep the equipment in working order, and wait till customers like us call and complain that there
        is no internet. This is totally unacceptable.

        2. Customer care (the 1-800 number) too has inordinate wait time, and just hangs up on me
        saying "call later". This is unacceptable. Even now, the internet service has been down
        for more than 4 days. Nothing is being done. I have been calling everyday, when I finally get
        through to a customer service "executive" all I get is some platitudes. They also tell me that
        i will receive credit for all the days when I had no service, but this is a lie --- see point 5 below.

        3. In spite of escalating to Nodal officer for Tamilnadu region (several times), there has been no
        response. This is ridiculous. What has Tata come to? I plan to publicize my frustrations all over
        various internet fora, and warn the public not to sign up for Tata indicom.

        4. Towards the end of March 09, I signed up for Tata's broadband DSL internet service, and paid in full
        for 4 months. More than Rs 5500. I was explicitly told by the salesperson (DineshBabu, Coimbatore)
        that there would be no charges. Still I was sent pro-rated charges for march, and additional extra
        charges on each subsequent bill.

        5. Finally, in spite of being told by customer service that I would receive credit for all the days when I had no service
        this has NOT happened. Just to quote one instance, I had no service from April 6 till 23rd. But, lo and behold, the
        April bill shows no refund. In addition to providing lousy service, Tata have also taken to outright lying. I am stunned at Tata's audacity. This is causing irreparable harm to their valuable brand name.

        I plan to register complaints with consumer protection groups, write letters to the editor in all major newspapers,
        and also widely publicize on the internet.

        TATA Indicom — Horrible Service

        Hi,

        I have been using Tata Indicom's Photon + connection for 2 years now. The customer service i have had with them has been the worst experience ever.

        I recently bought a new laptop, along with which i got an offer to take a photon + connection. I was told that i need to take the bill for my laptop and go to the office to get the connection. when i went to the tata indicom office in Koramangala (opp. Forum mall), i had to wait for 45 minutes to speak to one of their sales representatives. finally i got to speak to a person called Asfaq Ahmed. Asfaq's service, to say the least, was terrible. he had no regard for his customers. My wife and i went in at 3:30 PM. Asfaq told us that the bill is not enough, and that they needed the 'bar code' which was on the box. We went home and got the box with the bar code. Asfaq told us that that was not the barcode he was looking for, and that we needed to get the box on which the bar code with the serial number was present. By this time, it was 6:00 pm. we went back to the house and got the "Correct bar code". Even after this, we had to wait for atleast 1 hour to get the connection. Once we received the device, Asfaq said that the activation will not happen till later that night, due to some server problem. by this time, my wife and i were extremely fed up with the service we were getting. while we were waiting for te connection, Asfaq was working on another customer's form, on which the cusotmer's signature was not done in one of the fields. So what Asfaq did after that really surprised me... Asfaq actually forged the customer's signature. I brought this to the notice of the manager whom we complained to about the service.

        I also had to pay the bill for my first connection, which i did. When we got back home, we used the connection till late in the night, as my wife works from home. The next morning, i get up to find that the connection has been barred, and when i spoketo the customer service dept., they tell me its because of non-payment of the bill.

        I request you to please look into this matter, because this company just never fails to surprise me with their terrible customer service. Thanks to this company, my wife's work has been affected for 2 days, and really wish Tata indicom conmpensates for their lackadazical attitude.

        Please help me with this.

          I have a tata indicom walky connection having account number[protected] which is 3 years old recently i received a letter offering me free replacement of battery or chargeable upgraded phone instrument and based on this letter i approached there dealer located at Vikas puri, shop no 2, Plot no. 33, community centre, new delhi - 110058 but he refused for free battery replacement instead offered the chargeable upgrade phone .

          If the brabd like Tata cant manage its dealers than who can? Request you to intervene and get the battery replacement for my tata indicom done asap

          my mobile phone is locked, so given for seviceing to Nagercoil "SUPER SYSTEM, NO20, Bethasta complex road, tvs service centre, But after servicing my mobile battary is replaced with a old one, i wsa asked there, they are not acepted the replacement.now my mobile is coulnot used. kindly you take action and replay me..

            Dear Madam /Sir,
            My name is Sitakanta Acharya and my Tata Indicom phone number is[protected]. Account number[protected]
            Just a month before I have changed my location from Delhi to Bangalore and requested for a Tata Indicom Walky with Internet/SMS/Phone Book facilities on 17th Mar 2009 over the phone.
            On 19th Mar 09 Tata indicom sent one agent by name - ‘Damodar’( probably a third party agent from “Page Point Services pvt. Ltd”.) and he gave me two options, 1-New walky set at Rs1100.00 and 2-Used walky set at a cost of Rs1000.00. And I agreed for the New set only. No other information was given to me by him. Then he took Rs1100.00 from me and gave a receipt for that only committing to deliver the walky set next day morning. But he came on 21 Mar 09 Evening and delivered the set to my Mother ( an old lady of 75 years) . He has given some other persons number as his contact number.
            Next morning when I came home, saw a set that is not as per my request. I called up to the office of that third party agent and some other person said, I need to contact Tata indicom help desk only for any help.
            On the very 1st day of the use, i.e. on 22 Mar 09, of the set I registered a complaint, -Ref[protected], with Tata Indicom cutomer service agent in Hyderabad and their commitment was to replace the set within next 36 hours. But after three days one of your agent said that cannot be replaced as was delivered as per my request only. Again I registered the 2nd complaint, Ref[protected], on 25 Mar 09, and got the same commitment of getting the replacement of the wrong walky set in next 36 hours. But they called me up five days after that and informed the same as before.
            On the same day of 30 Mar 09 I received one confirmation letter from TATA INDICOM that they have commitment to give me services for “Wireless Internet STP Plan, Ws-instant postpaid scheme, Call forward facility, 3way conference facility, Call waiting facility and data services facility.” I have the same letter with me. but that services have never given in this phone.
            I called up again to their help desk on 3rd Apr 09 in Hyderabad. Talked to one supervisor Sudheer.H and floor manager Rama Devi. The interaction ID with them was[protected] . As per their information I requested the same hand set to your Customer service dept. on 21 Mar over the phone for the same hand set I received. Whereas it was actually done on 17 mar 09 and you have sent your agent to my home on 19 Mar 09 and the letter I received says some thing different about the walky set you have given to me. Also they said you have confirmed the same with me thru a conference call. Actually I have never received any conference call to confirm for the kind of hand set I had requested for.
            So all the information you are providing me with are conflicting only. I can say this is a way of pushing sale of your cheap walky sets.
            For your reference I am attaching a scanned copy of the letter you have sent to me. they are not giving the services as per their commitment in this letter.
            So Please change my walky set as soon as possible.
            Your earliest reply will be appreciated.

              Tata Indicom has launched Monsoon Offer 199 Night Advantage Plan for Broad Band Internet 4 years ago. We purchased the plan and it was quite good till yesterday. The tarrif was Rs199+taxes for unlimited Night interenet usage from 8 pm to 8 am with additional 40 ps per mb for day usage. It was really good home plan for the people like us we have to work at home during night hours and we have internet at our work place during the work hours. Tata has another another unlimited plan for RS 400. So for night unlimited Rs 200 are well justified. Mean while TATA send a letter stating that 8 pm to 8 am night usage will be free for 100MB. We all accepted that and continued or usage. But when the first bill came, to my surprize 100 MB means Rs 40 for the complete month was deducted. I thought it might be a calculation mistake and contacted the customer care. But the person at the centre told it is for the complete month. He could not answer when I asked him why it was not clearly stated in the letter? What is the night advantage when the charges for day and night are same ie 40 ps per mb? He said this Rs 40 per month is the rebate for night only! Is this advantage or disadvantage? IIts the disadvantage to the customers ho are using 199 TATA broadband. The chetaing stretagy of company by misleading the customers is atleast not expected from TATA.

                As we are using your internet service since last 2 years as per your plan DSL Ds Night Advantage 256kbps But it scince that you have discontinued the plan and you are charging us for utilising your internate services for your current plan if you are going to give us facility as per previous plan (DSL Ds Night Advantage 256kbps then only we are intrested to continue the same. other wise you may discontinue the internate connection with immidiate effect.And inform us accordingly.

                internet connection of tata dsl disconnects 5 to 10 a day and it comes for just 10 to 20 minutes. I have complaint to tata customer care also but they are not taking it serious.

                  I installed Tata Broadband connection in month of Jan 27. AS you know in Maharashtra we have 3 + 3 hours of load sheding (Power Cut). Initially when the power use to go, i wont be able to access internet, first i thought there is some problem with my Invertor (Power Backup unit). Later after doing some research i came to know that, Tata People do not have Power Backup where they have the server (from which we are connected to).

                  I've complaint about this for atleast 10-12 times (in last one month). And my connection was down for almost 20 days. still i didnt hear anything from them.

                  Could you please let me know how do i handle these people. I'm willing to file a Complaint in Consumer Court.
                  Please help me out.

                  On[protected], we have made a complaint with the complaint number : 10535424 in your Customer Care regarding the change / replace of Power Over Ethernet Injector ( for 10 / 100T, Model : POI - 101 U ) due to sparking fault in this instrument.

                  But this complaint is still not rectify from your side. What kind of services you are providing to customers. Its very lazy services because from 20th August 2009 to till now, I am doing daily complaint but no action has been taken for solving out this matter.

                    I am using this connect for internet facility for last thre years. Now for past one week i am unable to gent the net connection and since from last week i am making complaint to customer care, but no body is responding properly. Every Telecome compony has got complaint cell with proper complint Nos. But Tata Indicome person says they does'nt have any complaint nos. Even they don't know how to solve my problem. While doing the connectio, the error is comming as remote computer is not responding. Myconnection is transfering to server. After a while the error message appears. My connection charges also debiting from my account on each attempt. When i go with the complaint to true value shop, they are sujjesting for new connections. This is not good customer service. Please help me to solve my problem as i am working with internet.

                          This is Deepak Rana. I took a Tata Indicom Plug 2 Surf Whiz (a/c no.[protected], sim no.[protected], tariff plan: Value 325 VData Plan) on call from one of my friend Ms. Sapna working with Tata Indicom on 6th of January 2009 which was activted on 8th January 2009. I was told that it is completely free for 2 months; no uploading or downloading charges would be applicable but the service was stopped after one week o[censored]sage. When I called Sapna about the problem she told me that my connection was registered in wrong plan and nothing to worry about as she'll get it waviored as it is their representative's mistake. But two months have passed and no action is taken towards my problem. Around 2 weeks back I had a talk with her boss Mr. Kasim and he assured me that in a week it will work but Today I received a call from Tata that this case is going to be filed under legal case because I am not paying the bill and to look the bill period is 03/01/09 (while connection was sold to me on 06/01/09) to 02/02/09. I told CCE what has gone in previous months but he is sorry for me. I can not understand what is going to me and why should I pay for their mistake.

                            I have been facing problem since the day of purchase itself. First of all even after full payment, the product was delivered with delay of 2 days.
                            The real problem started when I tried connecting the internet through the device.My laptop would reboot again and again if the device is connected to the USB port.Initially I contacted the customer care.Next day a technical person from tata indicom visited my home to check the problem.He said the problem is with the USB modem.Next I contacted the vendor (SATISH & NITYA) to replace the device.I have made a number of calls but no one came to address the issue till one week.On 18/03/09 the vendor came and took the device saying that it will be repaced the next day itself.But I am very much dissappointed as no one turned up.When I contacted the manager she would not pick up my call and the sales executive had nothing to say but a sorry.Now I don’t have the device itself, even after making the full payment.

                            Seeing such a pathetic service from Tata Indicom, I had no other option but to mail you.
                            Kindly help me to get my money back as I don’t want the service from Tata Indicom.

                              Tata Indicom Walky Phone — Not received security money after depositing said phone

                                Despite filing for cancellation of connection way back in the month of November, I am still receiving my bills (including this month). Initially after clearing my past dues I was advised by one Tata Indicom employee that my billing will be stopped and asked me to deposit my due EMI for one handset at any Indicom outlet. He even promised me to waive the monthly bill of Rs. 1200 for the last bill of month of November. But all that never happened even after I paid my EMI dues (Rs. 5200) on time.



                                The fact is some executives call me whenever I lodge a complaint and the issue never gets resolved. 2 months back somebody came from Tata Indicom and advised me to keep one connection ([protected], though I am still getting bills for both the numbers!) under safe custody (without any rent) till the issue is resolved since there has been some mistake by Indicom and he will resolve it in seven days time. But that was a false hope given to me and again I mailed them. This time I received two consecutive calls fro Delhi and Hyderabad asking about my problem and then again everything went to oblivion.



                                What I feel that I have been duped by Tata Indicom and its executives who misguided me for so long.



                                Due to this unlawful act of Indicom, I had to pay a lot of fines and my financial credibility is also at stake.

                                I recharged tata indicom no 9255****** on 14/04/2009 of haryana circle to get free tata to tata std calls.before doing recharge i confirmed from the costumer care executives several times about this recharge.they asked about my location then replied that i'm able to avail this recharge.but after getting recharged my no. i'm still charged by normal call rates i.e. there is no free std tata to tata calls.when i asked from costumer care executive he said our schemes have been updated now this service is not availible in rural areas.i'll have to move to an urban area to make free tata to tata std . i didn't get any prior information about this upadation by sms or any call.so please help me out.

I received a phone call from No. [protected]. and the collar was same one Mr. Ashish. he told me that my phone no. can be coverted in to postpaid scheme under Rs. 150/- Per Month plan in which i wouldget Rs 100 as free calls in a month in which local call will be Charged Rs. 0.50 per minute and STD call Rs. 0.80 per minute. On 28th Jan. 2009 Mr. Gaurav ([protected]) came to me and took a cheque bearing no. 149482. Cheque of Bank - PNB. of Rs.500 in the name of customer info. and Rs. 100 as Cash and gave a receipt. Next day hi call me again and said please give me your ID. proof and photo so that this sim can be activated. I hand over my ID. proof and photo at B-12 third flour, Ganesh nager, Tilak nager, New Delhi - 110018. This address was given by him after 3 to 4 day I chacked the sim card again but it has not been activated. Now when I call on his number, or Gaurav's Number, Idoes not get any response, my sim has not been changed to postpaid till date while the cheque has already been cleared from the bank.

                                  This is to inform you that, I bought a new TATA Indicom USB connection (SIM Only, as i had the USB Plug to Surf Modem) on 11th February 2009, from M/s "EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION"
                                  101, Chaudhary Market,
                                  Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi-91

                                  for Rupees 300/- from which Rs.100/- was for the SIM and Rs.200/- was taken as security. After completing all the formalities i told them that i want the UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD Plan and i was told by the store representative "ATUL KUMAR" that my Unlimited Download plan will start within 48 Hours. After few days my Internet Connection was barred. I chacked my account details and i was shocked to know my outstanding amount of Rs.2500/-. Although i was told as per my plan i would be charged less then Rs.1000/- a month. I asked Mr. Kapil and Mr. Rakesh of M/s "EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION", to show the copy of my registration form. During this investigation they admitted the fact that there was a mistake done by them while selecting the Unlimited Download plan option, which has resulted into a huge bill and inconvenience.

                                  I paid my genuine bill (for Unlimited Plan) for Rs.900/- as suggested by the store Manager.

                                  My Payment RECEIPT No. is- 8706610.

                                  He apologized and sent a mail to "TATA TELE SERVICES" Head Office accepting their mistake and requesting to waive off the excess bill amount. After which i was assured that i will not have to pay access bill amount and my Internet Connection will not be disturbed in future.

                                  Ironically, even after paying my bill before time. I'm still facing the same problem and my Internet connection is again barred, though it was a store representatives mistake in data entry. I asked them to provide me a complaint number against the same but i was told that there is no complaint number and it'll be resolved within 1-2 Hours. I was shocked to hear that.

                                  However, i think this is not wright and my internet connection is also not restored.

                                  I request you to please look into the matter and update my Unlimited Plan and Waive the outstanding amount other than the unlimited plan.

                                  I am sending this letter to you as a hope of getting the quickest attention and action.

                                    I have recently taken one TATA Indicom prepaid connection whose number is [protected]. I have submitted all the necessary documents twice. Within one week, it got disconnected, in effect it's outgoing has been stopped. Now, the same problem I have suffered some 1.5 years back while I was in Chennai for job purpose. There I had a Tata Indicom Prepaid connection too and it's number, as per as I can remember was : [protected]. It got disconnected because of some documentation being not submitted either by the dealer or your agent who collects the same. I suffered the same issue there as I am suffering now. I have recharged with 699 Rs. to call my relatives all across India, which is getting totally wasted. I have personally submitted the documents this time to Koromongola Office to ensure proper service, but still it is not working. I am not only surprised but also shocked to see such below graded service level from a TATA brand!!

                                    I myself being a TCS employee, can not believe such negligence and harassment. Also I got no reply after sending mails to Tata Indicom customer care and nodal officer. In their customer care, If I call : nobody is attending it and they are not activating it in spite of promising me earlier that they would have done that immediately itself. I am disgusted with TATA indicom.

                                    I bought a new tata indicom handset and sim in April, around 1 month back on 21st April.
                                    I had submitted all my documents back then and my sim started working. But just 5 days into it, my services were stopped quoting the reason that my documents were not correct. I had submitted the documents correctly but the tata indicom outlet people (Paud Road) did not submit clear copies of my documents due to which there was this issue.
                                    After several complaints and follow up my sim started working on 10th May again.
                                    10 days later on 20th May the my services were again stopped. This time same reason, my documents were not proper. I was asked to resubmit my documents which I did on 24th May. The tata indicom people assured me that they would start my services within 72 hours which ofcourse did not happen.
                                    On calling them again today, they asked me all the question for verfication and again assured me that my sim would start today itself. Since it did not start, I called the customer care people and they are now telling me that they havent recieved any documents submitted by me.

                                    What am I supposed to do now? I am really upset with the quality of service these people provide. Tata Indicom will be shut down soon if these kind of services continue.

                                      I had purchased kaspersky antivirus from TATA INDICOM BROADBAND. They deducted Rs.699 on the very instant . 2days after the purchase i had to format my PC . Now when i enter the key specified by TATA INDICOM BROADBAND Kaspersky is not able to validate it.I launched complaint to TATA INDICOM BROADBAND customer care for more than 6/7 times but still no satisfactory response.I have already loose Rs.699 from my account.
                                      Hi all,

                                      This is to make you aware of the kind of product Tata Indicom Broadband connection (wired) is in Pune/maharastra. I have been using it for a couple of months now and right from the day one, I have observed very clearly that the surfing as well as the downloading speed are much more inferior as compared to what I used to get in Gujarat with the same ISP.

                                      Surfing often is a very frustrating experience with Tata indicom as the speed is wavering and inconsistent. Every other minute, the speed goes down and 'Page cannot be displayed' error displays for even the most lightweight sites like Google. Later, by hitting the 'enter' key couple of times or 'refresh' icon, the site loads. This is an everyday issue and on notifying the engineers/ISP customer service center, they are either not able to understand the problem or do not want to admit that Tata, unlike in its other reliable products, has been a miserable failure in Tata Indicom product (especially tata indicom broadband).

                                      I am waiting for another ISP to have a feasibility in the area where I stay so that I take no time to get rid of these lousy guys.

                                      Below is the screenshot from www.speedtest.net . It clearly shows that the speed I get is 0.09 Mb/s (Megabits/s) which is equal to 11.52 KiloBytes/s.
                                      Imagine I am using a 256 kbps connection (unlimited) and look at the miserable download speed.

                                        Dear friends,
                                        I took a tataindicom connection on 19.01.09 under surfathon offer, which is two months unlimited free internet with free USB modem. Its a surprise tataindicom people send a bill (bill dated 23.02.09) for Rs.1913.00. Several times I approached call centre. No use. I spoked with Mr. Rajasekhar, Mr. Vijay and Mr. Sayyad. Service is very bad.
                                        The speed of the tata indicom is very slow., .., , , .
                                        well! I fink that I do not use that broadband or ISDN, if I me to be right about this, I rather get to share with R Connect, and still remain convinc'd that the only way to have a real speed browing is to be a member with DSL, there the conexion runs smoothly ...(well! the other path is to look for a software that might be us'd by those IPSs' and can by it increasing data)

                                        They offered free pen drive with plug2surf device on internet. I have purchased it online and made payment.But i have not got the pen drive. I talk with the tata customer care also but no solution found.
