[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Photon Plus — No Customer Service

Did you know that Tata Indicom Photon Plus is the only best product introduced by Tata Indicom. Even though it doesnt work everywhere its speed is very good. There is a main problem with it. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR IT. I tried calling cutomer numbers total 7 numbers. No one knew what to do. They keep passing the problem to the other phone number (not passing between departments but phone numbers). Finally I tried to email them. There too I receive only phone numbers. THE SAME PHONE NUMBERS. Then all of a sudden I receive an email saying My Problem has been solved and that they are closing the complaint!!! Say WAT????? To hell with them. If any of you know the correct customer care number pls do let me know. Thank You.

My name is Suman Das. i took tata photon plus internet connection in november-2010 from Gr. Noida.
now this set is being used by my wife in gandhinagar, gujarat.
On 2-Mar-2011 she faced some connectivity related issues, so she called customer care from where
she was given tata photon repair center address in gandhinagar, but when she went to that address
she found the address given was wrong. She again called customer care and they told that as the set
was in roaming so they can't provide any executive visit to her place.
After this she came to noida on[protected] and reported the problem to customer care again and also that
she is now in noida. They told the problem will be resolved by[protected]. after this they extended the date to
16-03-11, after this again extended to 18-03-11 then on[protected] again extended to 22-03-11 and on 22-03-11 they further
extended it to 25-03-11 and on 25-03-11 they again extented the date to 27-03-11.
In the mean while i called several times but no satisfactory answer was received from their end.
My wife went back to gandhinagar on 23-03-11 and she is desperately in need of internet connection as she is doing
PHD from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, gandhinagar and his total work is with internet. Her work is hampered
for the last 23 days due to your poor and pathetic service.
Can't you send some executive to her place to repair the problem.
I received sms & callS from tata indicom for bill payment whose last date was 24-03-11 which i am not going to pay
for the disturbed period.
You can send bills on time but can't provide service to the needfull, then what's the use of tata indicom and why not any
other internet service provider.

I'm seriously saying about TATA photon connection... is such a bad service. So please my humble request to ALL...please please Don't ever never go for TATA photos. Reliance is better.
1. Please refer to our telephone conversation between self and your customer care office. This is bring in to your notice that I have a USB modem based broad band wireless connection under your brand band TATA Photon on number [protected] with 5 Gb unlimited plan. I am using this connection since Dec 2010, I am facing the following problems:-

(a) Connectivity is very poor.
(b) The downloading speed is just 4 Kbps to 44 Kbps max.
(c) Poor quality customer care service.

2. I have tried to contact your customer execution number of time on number-[protected] but instead of position or fair response, I have received negative response showing no interest in my complaint.

3. I have always faith in any services provided by your brand name TATA, but it seems that your company is not able to come to any customer’s satisfaction.

4. May I request to solve the problem as this type of negative approach will bring bad reputation to TATA.

I had booked my complaint on your toll free no on the 21st March 2011.Was told that someone will resolve the problem within 24 hrs.Docket No.[protected]

This was supported by an email received from your”supprt

As it happens (without calling it unfortunate), that someone, your engineer in Patna "Mr Raju"

came on 24th March.Inspected my AppleBook Air 11inches for an hour or so.Then left saying that he is going to bring a soft ware from Tata Indicom within 2-3 days which will help install the Tata Photon Plus on my lap top

Did not leave any contact number and have not seen or heard anything from any one till today(Probably you will see this mail tommorrow)

In the meantime your toll free no for Tata Photon has been contacted. No help despite all promises

The Patna no.of your nodal officer Mr Vijay Kumar Mathur was rung umpteenth times and every 10-15 tries, someone called Sudipto will talk for a second and before listening will disconnect.This was on Wednesday the 6th April.The next time I asked him harshly, Where is Mr Vijay Kumar Mathur and “ he was not in”Having continued in the same sharp tone he said that Mr Raju will visit tomorrow in the 1st hr

Still waiting for 17 days(22 Days today) as against a promised 24 hrs for getting Tata Photon Plus installed on my MacBook Air 11’ lap top

Must admit, I had a different opinion about the work culture of TATA and am sure you are not going to disappoint

TATA photon plus registration is a complete mess. I'm using tata photon plus since one month still I couldn't register as a new user in tataphoton.com website.
It is showing some crap like the number is not registered.
Even I called up customer care. They are also telling same thing. "Technical Problem"
Bhai logo madarcod hai ye salai mera no eak mahenai sai band para hai par har mahe nai 1000 rs ka bill aajata hai bhaiyo aur bhaiyo ki bahano mobile pai net active karalo pai in madarcodo ka tata proton pluse mat lena tati hai sala
tata photon has good speed!!! but not providing good customer care srvice... all ther call center persons are not more than educated than 10th pass all are below 10th class pass out, they always passs out their problems nothingelse
I have been using Tata Photon Plus for the past 1 Year. In Kolkata, the device was not that effective, most of the time webpages were not displayed. But now that i have shifted to Bangalore, i dont have any complaint about speed. My plan is 5gb [protected]@950 and per month i am able to download atleast 15gb at will. Talking about customer service, still dont have any experience, never needed to call about billing or anything. Bill is being sent to my permanent address as well as my mail id. Since my 1 year is still not over, I still get a discount of Rs 200 per month, so have to pay Rs 750 + Tax. To summarize, I am pretty much satisfied with the connection till date. Dont know, my attitude towards it may change once I land back to Kolkata

TATA Indicom — non receipt of actual speed

sir, This is Rajesh B from Shillong (meghalaya). I am using a tata indicom broadband internet postpaid connection [[protected]] from last five months. From past 3 month speed of the same is too slow, several times i have been complained and custmer care intimated that wil clear shortly. thereafter 3-4 days was run clearly after it wil came old stage. Tata indicom's offered there speed is 3.1 mbps maximum and minimum is 256-600 kbps. i have not yet been received 300 to 600 kbps, daily i have checking speed test that shown only 200 to 256 only.

2. My monthly plan rate is Rs. 820/-. total amount i have been deposited as on date is Rs. 820 x 6 months = 4920/-. i have not yet received above 256 kbps speed. photograph of speed test wef 01 - 06 Aug 2011 being send saperately for your ready reference.

3. In view of above respected court ordered to above firm cut speed basis amount and refund balance amount at the earliest. if not willing please give me maximum speed to abov number broadband connection at the earliest.

I took connection of Tata Photon plus from tata photon office and the persons name is santosh and chinnarao([protected]) on 03.07.2011.They could not locate my permenant address and after a month they requested me to give present address, with all documents i submitted on[protected] to Hari([protected])Tataphoton office at dwarakanagar, near sairam parlour, visakhapatnam and manager Hari said it will be regularized in 24 hours and now my service is barred when i talk to call center they gave me omplanint number[protected] on[protected] at 2.30PM
Problem is every tataphoton man asking me details from where i had takne this like this i really fed up this

I lost my tata photon last year an immediatly lodged complaint with their customer care. They confirmed to stop the usage and told me that the connection is disabled. Now after about 6 months they have been harassing to pay the bills for last 6 months and when I told them about the connection being disabled, they blindly have sent a legal notice. Unfortunately I did not keep the record of the transaction number for disabling the connection. One of the worst service and least concern for the customer. Pathetic... I would'nt recomment Tata for any product for anyone.

I am Nihar. I am furious now and want strict action to be taken against individuals and also want to punish them by suing them. Really all are non-sences, who are working in Tata Photon Customer Care and Retailer Service. Either they have lack of knowledge or They don't know the Time Value for a customer.
I have taken a Tata Photon plus card on 19th Aug. The same day it was activated. I submitted all of my Document on 20th the same day it was again disconnected. After that it is now 4th day. No one is responding properly. I had taken this card in a very urgent manner. Really Tata Photon service is very Hactic. They are behaving the customer as a Bittle Shop, Shop keeper.

I am very dis satishfied on Tata Photon. There is no word for scolding the Tata Photon Customer care Guys and the Retailors. What ever u scold it is insufficient to them.

I think i have done mistake by taking the Tata Photon Service.

TATA Indicom — Raising of bill even after closing of connection

Dear sir, I had taken one postpaid Tata Indicom connection under the no.[protected]. I have been transfered to another stae West Bengal. And even after closing of the connection the company had kept on raising bills. And for your information the number was not used by me at all after disconnection of the phone. It seems around rs.1148/- is being asked from me against the raised bill for some nos. of months after the disconnection. The company representative harassed me in the past in different ways for paying the bill. Now they have raised a legal action for the same. Please judge how far it is fair to pay the bills even after disconnection of phone.
