[Resolved] Tata Photon Whiz — Poor tata photon whiz speed

Hi, I am ashish gupta, i am using tata photon whiz since last 20 days in ramapuram chennai area. My photon whiz no is — [protected]. When i taken that conncetion, tata indicom executive was saying that Max. Speed of tata photon whiz is 153.6kbps. But i am getting only max. Speed 3 to 4 kbps. Regarding it i registered three complaints[protected],[protected],[protected] But issue not yet resolved. When i registered first complaint[protected], next day one technician mr. Kiran visit my home. But kiran was saying that 3 kbps is max. Speed of tata photon whiz in all over chennai. So kiran was not able to resolve that issue and without resolving that issue he left from my home. Again i registered two more complaints[protected],[protected] regarding same issue. Once again mr. Kiran visit my home but he was saying same wording that 3 kbps is max. Speed of Tata photon whiz in all over chennai and within 1 min without saying anything he left. I am calling daily customer care 2-3 times regarding same issue. But issue not yet resolved. On 12-sep-2009 i talked to customer care head mr. Nitin, he was saying that another technician Will visit on 14-sep-2009 till 9:00 pm and issue will resolved 100%. But nobody visit. I am totally fedup with tata photon whiz. hi i m hrishi, in my laptop the tata photon whiz speed is as low as 234bytes, which is absolutely disgusting...what a piece of is this ...sometime i feels like throw this slow tata in a gutter...

i was told that downloading speed should be near 40 kbps but it is only 14 kbps.company making us fool.

EXCESS BILLING, I was using Vdata Night Unlimited Surfing Plan, 400 rs, after 1 month what I see Bill was 855.heavy charges and poor service.
I bought photon whiz(17th nov 2009) and used for 3 hours i can't download any files with much speed. It is very much slow than ordinary dail up connection. please erect as many towers as possible. give us reliable speed. It even takes much time to load google home page. Utter slow. non activation non proper service n response from company dealer.No responce even after calling them 100 times, IT'S AN USELESS PRODUCT I EVER SEEN, saying that
max. speed of tata photon whiz is 153.6Kbps.
But i am getting only max. speed 3 to 4 Kbps.
This is maxium donwload speed (15 KBps) that is commited by tata. If your data plan is unlimited then you will never gets this speed. Also, if there are simultaneous users from where you connected speed decreases.
I have been cheated, lost my money which I was saving from 3 months, they don't respond quickly, they dont care about customer's after selling products, Yes, TATA photon is very poor in performance.

i am using photon whiz from last 6 days.this is very slow the when i am buying the piece he told me that it's simply super but it is worse it just giving download speed 0.0 to 3.0 MAX and my suggestion increase the speed really it is worse and upload speed is 0.0 to 0.9 MAX please increase upload and download speed

I am using photon from last 10 days it is very slow really at the time when i am buying he said that it is simply super but it just providing 0.1 to 3.8 kbps only(download speed)but he said that it gives 230.4kbps
how cheat they are we are really unsatisfied by this service
try to increase speed
note:- another important matter is upload seed of this is just 0.0 to 0.2 kbps only try to increase the speed are provide me any tips to increase speed

no custmer care, , , in 16 days from purchasing this 153kbps instrument(ha ha ha) i am unable to upload a single photo .
a fact-gprs work more fast and reliabely then tata whiz

I was using wll internet connection for last eight months at Rs.250/-per month(unlimited), but due to low speed, I purchased photon whiz on 15/01/2010.Now I am repenting why i purchased photon whiz because the speed is also very low and the copany can not do any thing to increase the speed for an individual.I have purchased the said connection for Rs.1800/- with device. I am ready to surrender the same if the company will pay me back only Rs.900/-

i'am jithin kerala. i buy this product in last week....the sales man told to me, this product have speed upto 153kbps....but i did not get that........

This is to inform you that I am a customer of Tata Photon and my Photon no is
[protected] and the problem which I am facing is few days back on 8th of january
2010 I have given a latter in your shillong Tata Teleservices Ltd, TVH COCO,
City Mall, Bara Bazaar 793001, that my photon connection is lost and I want my
connection to be temporarely disconnected but even after receiving the letter
from me they have not done the needful moreover when I went to your shillong
Office they have not gave any response, I was there for one hour you can say they
have humiliated me like anything and at last on
18th of january I
received a call from your call center reminding about my bills and when I
enquire about the latter which I have submitted in your office the call center
people told me that they have not received any such letters and neither my
connection is disconnected. So, I would like to know is this the kind of service is
your company providing to its costumer as I am very unhappy with the
kind of service that I have received from a reputed company like Tata.

Terribly slow speeds, disconnects at will, no response to complaints. Cannot believe Tata sold us a bill of goods which is so inefficient and downright useless most of the time. Not to mention the indifferent response to complaints. Mr. Tata where are you? Thought you were an Indian icon who represented the apex of moral conscience and professional ethic in desiland's business environment. Do something please or jog your employees to respond positively!!

The product was a total disappointment for me. The download rate is ultra slow. Even to open gmail, it takes minutes. Nighttime 10pm to 3a.m the connection is off. Can I change over to some broadband plan from this useless thing?
