[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Customer Service

For the last 5 days I have been trying to speak to their customer service team however, everytime you select an option in the IVR, the call gets transferred to a promo tape. It plays continuously. I am absolutely disgusted!! Pray, can anyone tell me, how does one get through to them????

I wished to watch a showcase movie at night, and i called up for registration. Customer care rep. asked me to send it through sms, which i did, bcoz of system upgradation. In reply I was asked to again contact customer care by phone. The representative asked me to wait for 2 hrs. I insisted that they shd have informed me about this thorugh their alert sytem and wanted to peak to their superior. Their superior was not even in a position to take a complain for this and kept the phone unanswered after speaking to me for a while. I again called up and spoke to Daniel John, special desk, superior, who also did the same thing and at the most helped me to give the helpdesk e-mail id to send a mail.

At that point of time i wanted to disconnect my subscription and get my as on date balance back but he said that it was not possible as per their policy.

Moral of the story : Once you subscribe to Tata Sky you are their, akind of employees, to work as per their policies.

I had bought a Rs. 350 package and was told that I would get the Zoom, NDTV Good Times and Bindass in the following package. I had also checked the pamphlet which is given to the Customers during the purchase. However 2 months later the Channel got locked and on calling the C Care they said that it was only an offer. It is frustating to deal with such cases.

I spoke to Sanjeev in the Hyd office and he is a TL he informed that it is all a paid channel.

This is the most embarassing thing to happen.

i bought a new connection of tata sky, i told them south jumbo pack but they activate the super value pack, i want to change the pack
I myself had similar experience this week when I ordered for Tata sky connection at Ranchi. After due response a representative was sent by one 'Sri Pankaj' to collect the charges, who left a box here. Nobody turned up to fix the same for 3 days despite reminders. On 4th day a mechanic (Subodh) came to fix it but only do so on his preferences, totally disregarding my requests. As his likings were not acceptable I had to turn him out . Now I have only one of the two choices left. To go on requesting /insisting on sending another person to fix Tata Sky properly, or to return the set/recharge voucher and get the money refunded. This is an indication how the after sales service of such a reputed company is going to be.
I made several calls on 09 Oct 08 to Helpdesk of Tata Sky. There was no one to pick up and answer my query. No Technical support. They proudly announce 24X7 Customer care. Their website crawls and could not register my complaint there.

Tata sky is a utter waste and I request people to evaluate their services before getting into a Tata Trap.

I had a problem with Tataskyr. The power supply was not coming to the receiver. I tried with my friends Tata sky adopter, that was also not working. I raised a compliant regarding this to Tata sky customer care. I told all the problem to the customer care person. one person came from Tatasky and he told me that the problem with Adopter. But I told I tried with my friends adopter also but it was not working . then that person told me that I will change the adopter next day because we don’t have a stock. I tried to explain his about the problem but he didn’t listen what I was telling. After that I called daily to customer care they were telling the same story raptly. i am waiting for last one week. they charged it when it was not working. My kind advice is don’t go with TATASKY. The service is very poor and if it’s raining you won’t get a signal

Kindly rectify that who is that existing computer and rectify his correct Phone No. Instead of my mobile Number

its been a month i bought a connection of tata sky n d set top box suddenly stopped working.
my complain is against the lko branch employee who are very inefficient n irresponsible...its been 3 day i have filed a compliant but no action is being executed, infact now when i m calling them they are ignoring my call.i m very disappointed by the service n want to warn you against the harm they are doing to your brand...
kindly take some action coz people are not taking your service to get such a response.

I have purchased tatasky on 03/01/2010 and deposited Rs. 800/- for minimum package for 6 months. I received mesg to deposit money after 5 months(i.e. on 29/05/2010) and I deposited 800/- on 30/05/2010 while the subscription was upto July 2010. Why its is so??? Your staff Simran n Dimple said its your mistake, The customer has to inform duration of the package. where its written??? plz correct my account.
If some body have addresses of Tata Sky ( not PO Box type) please mail it to me. Tata Sky Ltd is using fraudulent practices and I am intended to file a complaint is consumer court. But none of the helpline receiver is giving me address to send a notice through Registered Post. On POBox registered letters can not be send.

So please mail me their address so that at least other subscribers will be saved from fraudes by the TataSky.

i m using tata sky service since 2 yrs . now i face a pblm and tatasky not try to solve it .i call tatasky continuosly but there is no response from them . they called that they arrange a call back to you but there is no response . there is no call back from tatasky .
