i have request to tatasky officer to merge my to sub id in one & i have asked them for charges they revert me with on charges will apply to merging .
them after merging sub id they charge me 500rs as other charge after calling them they sayed that chagres will wived they have give me refuend request number also but longe follow-ups no response from them iam suffering from last weak every days they Promise your digicom will start at evening.

      i bought a new tatasky for my home it didt work

      Tata Sky — there is no light in the digicomp

      There is no light in the digicomp for the last 3 days. Inspite of complaints no one has turned up so far.System is not working. Kindly pay attention. Thank you.

      I HAD PURCHASED TATASKY IN THE YEAR 2006 AND SINCE THEN I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AND ENJOYING VIEWING TV CHANNELS AND I SUGGESTED ALL OF MY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS TO PREFER PURCHASING TATASKY.
      TODAY MORNING SUDDENLY EDOPTER OF DIGICOM WAS NOT WORKING AND MADE COMPLAINT TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN THE MORNING AND THEY HAVE ATTENDED AND CHANGED THE ADOPTER BUT THE CHANNELS WAS NOT CLEAR. HE SUGGESTED TO SHIFT THE ANTENEA TO NEIGHBOURS PLACE FOR BEST VISION BUT WE HAVE NOT ACCEPTED AND POINTED OUT THAT THE TV WAS VERY WELL WORKING SINCE 2006 TO TILL TODAY AND THE ANTENEA WAS EXACTLY WHERE IT IS FIXED BUT HE IS NOT READY TO ANSWER TO MY WIFE AND LEFT BY REMOVING THE ADOPTER WHICH HE REPLACED TODAY.           DEAR ALL,

          THIS IS FOR ALL OF YOU TATA SKY OWNERS & THE TATA SKY CUSTOMER REDRESS DESK.

          It is undenying that we all are paying for the services and not making way for TATA SKY Marketing efforts. It is indeed terrible that for the last couple of months or more I believe, the browse screens of Tata Sky are continuously bothering us with song clips available for caller tunes that is literally a terrible noise for the ears and add to it the voice overs for owning the caller tunes. The music that came along with the browsing screen was fair enough and was a standard that we had accepted byway. Can we not have this song-voice combo stop and get back the original soothing screens ??

          OK, it is fine that marketing has come into new trends but every service provider should be concerned of not bothering their customers for their own gain. It may sound communal, but not many would be elated with a ;DUYA" straight from the Quran, filling your drawing room late at night. As is available in mobile phone services, let there be an option of filtering out unwanted things and if that is not possible STOP disturbing people in a bid to market things and that too CALLER TUNES, when plenty and far better caller tunes are available with mobile service providers around.

          Hope all of you around would voice over and that may reach the TATA SKY guys.

            I am a Tata Sky subscriber. I had done on line recharge for Rs 300/- on 13th April 2009 through net banking of my bank. My bank has generated transaction id for this transaction, which I have communicated to Tata Sky
            Even though the said amount was debited from my bank account, till date (14/05/2009) this amount is neither credited to my Tata Sky account not refunded to my bank account. In spite of repeated complaints ( i started complaining since 13 April 2009) over web and also by telephone, Tata Sky does not care about this complaint. Their usual reply is that this issue will be resolved in 48/96 hours. It is more than a month now there is no solution for this complaint.It is not the amount that is important, I feel doing business in the name of Tata, such type of behaviour is not expected from them.

            i hav done a recharge of rs 200 frm authorised shop o[censored]r brand..
            amt has been deducted frm his acct. to but i havnt recvd any paid news frm tata sky and my paid channels r not cmg..
            pls see into the matter or else i hav to seek law and order to get me justice
            soon reply is expected...
            I had recharged my Tata Sky Account No.:[protected] on 10th Nov'12. But till date the amount has not been credited to my Tata Sky Account.
            I had mailed the Help-desk of Tata Sky regarding along with screen shot of debit from my Bank Account(SBI) but no reply has been received even after 5 days.
            I tried online chat with their representatives but they said it will credited within 48 hrs. But till date i.e. 15th Nov'12 it has not been done.
            They are unable to tell when it will be credited to the Account or if the payment will be returned to my Bank Account.
            My TV viewing has also been stopped today in-spite of making payment on 10th

            Yes. Tata Sky people are not only committing frauds and duping their customers but are also very lethargic in attending to complaints except when they are shown money. I have also been duped by them but do not know how to deal with such deaf people.

              Sir/Madam,
              My Id number is[protected]. I have shifted my house on 26th of April 2009 with in the city Gurgaon, Haryana. I made a request to reinstall at new location on 27th of April 2009. Two service engineers came to the new location and told me that the dish is to be installed at roof top and a hole is to be made for bringing the wire and also told that another team will come on the next day and do the need ful. But, nobody turned up. After two days Sri Chandan Singh of tatasky called me and conveyed that I should take the permission of my society (Unitech). Immediately I took the permission and the same was conveyed to customer care Tata sky, Delhi. Every day I contact the Customer Care telling them all the story and as usual they told me that the concerned engineer will call with in 3-4 Hrs to confirm the installation timing and gave the work order numbers.
              Yet nobody from Tatasky called upon us till today. Yesterday( 8th May 2009), I spoke to Sri Kunal, Sr. Executive of Customer Care and he assured that the installation will be done with in 24Hrs. More than 19 Hrs elapsed but no call from anybody from Tatasky. This has caused wasting of valuable time and money and denied us the entertainment etc. for which the Tatasky was installed.
              I hope that justice will be done immediately in my case.

                i have tatasky DTH service, formely tatasky give us Balance and due data on my TV Screen and right now i widrow this service and Send Paid SMS for Balance inquiry and due date . i was complain for tatasky about this topic but they say this service is Stop you complasary pay for it or watch on internet or phone call to tatasky help line tatasky say we can chage our service only for u and tatasky also not given me complain number for my complain i am not statishfied with tatasky service

                I had taken Tatasky connection on 26th march 10 and paid through my Credit card.I was told the connection will be free and no additinal charges.After the installtion the engineer was asking Rs 500 for extra cable which we refused as he didnot inform me before start of the work.I was told that South Jumbo Package will be free for three months.I wants some more channels to be viewed and added Active Gold by paying Rs 200 in recharge...One fine day they are asking me to pay for further usesage or face disconnection.When I inquired they told me that the cable money has being deducted from your account and the acoount is in minus...this is absolutely redeculaus and not at tall acceptable as they are blackamailing the consumer...Will some body listen to this and do something...How can I approuch the seniour mangement of TATASKYE for further query...

                  Tata Sky is prompt in deactivating the digi card but takes lot of time to activate the same.My TV was de activated and after recharging the voucher it was not charged and no telephone number is there to inform them about this

                    When we shifted to Goregaon (West) we thought to go for DTH service instead of regular Cable Network. Amongst the DTH service providers, we went for Tata Sky because of TATA's credibility.

                    On 2nd May at around 9 pm I had called up their Pune office[protected] and talked to Mr.Wasim Akram. He made us to pay Rs. 1999 through phone banking and we were given a transaction number. We were promised that the connection will be made on Monday at 11 am.

                    However, I received a call from TATA SKY at 9.30 am on 3rd May and was told that the installation team will come at 5 to 6 pm. Accordingly we cancelled our usual Sunday evening engagements and waited for TATA SKY Team. No one turned up nor they felt it right to inform the customer too!

                    On Monday, when I came back home, my family told me that there was neither any call nor the turn up for installation. I called up Pune office and after talking to the so called TATA SKY associates with lot of difficulties could manage to get through the complaint department and talked to Mr.Vishal. My complained number was 1-[protected]. We were promised that on 5th May the connection will be done at 11 am.

                    On 5th May I called up Pune office again at 1 pm. I asked the TS business associate to put me across to Mr.Vishal which they refused to do so. However, they kept me hanging for around 10 minutes or so and while I was waiting to be connected to Vishal; I got a call on my cell phone from one Mr. Amjad Bais. I called him back and to my surprise I was told that he tried to contact me on my cell number between 10 am to 11 am and he was not able to get through. Just to put in record, my cell phone is always in "switch on" mode and during that time I have received other calls. So how Tata Sky People can did not get through my phone.

                    Now Mr.Amjad Bais has assured me that as agreed he will come today at 5 pm to deliver the hard ware and provide the connections.

                    Just to mention that when I talked to my colleagues about my initial experience with Tata Sky, one colleague told me that he had to wait for 7 days after the hard ware delivery. So we must have patience and get it installed as getting refund will be a harrowing experience.

                    Is any one from TATA group listening...?

                      The 8 digit code with blue background is flashed every 5-10 minutes or so on my TV screen for at least 30 seconds. Sometimes, there are multiple such codes at the same time. This is really irritating from the point of view of viewer experience, as the codes are right there in the middle of the screen in most instances.

                      I was lead to believe that this is a security measure, but flashing it every 5 minutes is just ridiculous. I am sure that there are other technical ways in which security can be enforced, without bothering the average viewer. At the very least, one can broadcast it every 2 hours or so for a few seconds, and that's it. A quick search on the Internet reveals that numerous such complaints are being voiced by consumers on several online forums.

                      In addition, the helpline staff insinuated that the channel broadcaster (e.g. HBO) are itself broadcasting this code. When I mentioned that this code is visible on all channels, they rescinded, and admitted the above reason for this code. This is just plain wrong on 2 fronts:
                      -Misguiding the customer
                      -Libel against your channel service partners

                      Not to say that the Tata Sky logo too is visible on several channels as well. I know I am subscribing to Tata Sky and don't need this advertisement.

                      On a separate issue, I understand that on some particular channels, one can select the language option. Of late, most movies on HBO, Star, etc have English subtitles.There should be an option to switch off the subtitles if the viewer doesn't desire them.

                      So just imagine, watching a movie with all these logos on top:
                      -Tata Sky logo
                      -8 digit codes right in the middle of the screen
                      -Subtitles
                      -The logo of the channel itself

                      Just plain ridiculous.

                            As per the TATA Sky's scheme prevailing in the month of September 2008, on 30th September 2008, i subscribed for Basic Super Saver Annual Package by paying Rs.2600/-.

                            The Scheme was "PAY 10 months subscription and get/enjoy 12 MONTH'S view package". Suddely, today I have been told that my subscription towards Basic Super Saver Annual Package is expired and I need to recharge it for further viewing.As per the Scheme my package should expired in the month of September 2009 - as scheme was effected from October 2008. Prior to subscribing to Basic Super Saver Annual Package i was getting monthly account statement from TATA SKY on my e-mail id [protected]@indiatimes.com. Ever since I subscribed above package, effective October 2008 I have not received any statement from TATA SKY.
                            This is a shocking to me and therefore I feel that TATA SKY has cheated me. How can my subscription gets over in the month of April 2009 only when i subscribed for full year effective October 2008. When I called customer care [protected] on 27th April 09 at 10.15 p.m. i got irritating answers from attendant namely Ms.More. She was just giving hanky/panky answers to my querries. I have two querries:-
                            1) How can my subscription gets over when I paid for 12 months subscription?
                            2) Why TATA Sky has stopped send monthly account statement on my e-mail id (which they were sending regularly till 9th October 08. Last statement received on 9.10.08

                              I am senior citizen and have purchased the annual scheme purchased from Tata sky as i have done prevoiuslly.But i got a call on 23/04/09 that my annal package scheme is due to expire on 22 nov 2009.Where as i had charged the amount Rs 2600/. in the month of Feb when they had offer Annual Scheme for Rs.3300/- but you will get it for Rs 2600/.After a month passed i was told that after booking the scheme you did not call us .So the system was not update for that.
                              Please tell me if payement is collected through system and informations needs to be done Manually.I do not understand how these guy's function.
                              This is clear cheating with senior citizen with there marketing language.Please help me

                              I got a call from Tata sky customer care for discount on annual package on 22nd march 11. As suggested within a weeks time I deposited Rs.1300/- instead of Rs.1200/- for this discounted Annual package. On 22nd July I am being told that your account is in minus and you should recharge your account. This is how many customers are being cheated by TATA SKY.

                              I fail to understand when TATA SKY people are calling and I am responding to their call by depositing the said amount why this behavour.

                                Taken the connection in Jan 2007 by paying Rs.4000/- + etc.. And every month the charges would be Rs.350/-.
                                In Sep 2008 problem started-all of a sudden while you watch the blank screen and then appears. We called the tata sky customer service after trying an hour we got through (great!) then I explained the full story and a executive told that she will send the technical person to check the robleem. And 2 days not to be seen again spent 2 hours in explaining the stories and the technical people landed. AAnd they told us that the digicomp has to be changed and it costs money. they came with the digicomp and it worked for a day and from the 2nd day the same prblem, again called by wasting my time and got through and they landed up with another digicomp which was alright and for this service they deducted Rs.350/- from our account. Which I noticed after a month so I called the customer service and they promised that they will credit the amount back, and this is happening inspite of the customer signing the work order stating the charges are zero (NIL) in words.
                                The again same problem started in March 2009. Called and they came they said that we have to sign the anuual service contract for Rs.500/- to whcih we agreed and signed and after a week we noticed that again they deducted the annual service contract charges and the service charges of anothe Rs.350 been dedcuted all over again.
                                So on a total the customer has to spend Rs.500 on an average to have their services. IS IT WORTH? THIS IS APART FROM THE TELEPHONE CALLS WHCIH WE HANG ON FOR HOURS TO RESOLVE THESE ISSUES AND SPENDING ON AN AVERAGE 1 HOUR TO EXPALING THE HISTORY AND THEN THEY PUT THE CALL ON TO TL AND THERE AGAIN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN THE FULL STORY AND PROMISED THAT WE WILL GET IT DONE AND THEN YOU GET A MESSAGE AGAIN THAT YOUR BALANCE IS RS.10/- AND THEREFORE PLEASE REACTIVATE.
                                cannot do the same to others- guide me to reach to consumer forum and to make the problems from TATA SKY known to public so that they can ban the service .
                                SO PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE TATASKY CONNECTION IN YOUR LIFE. THEY ARE NOT WORTH FOR THE MONEY AND THEY ARE CHEATERS IN A VERY.. BIG WAY. WHERE NOBODY OWNS ANY RESPONSIBILITY, THEY JUST READY TO GRAB MONEY FROM THE CUSTOMERS.
                                DON'T EVER GO FOR TATA SKY CONNECTIONS. IT IS NOT AT ALL VALUE WORTH FOR MONEY INSTEAD IT IS WASTE OF YOUR TIME OTHERN THAN MONEY WHERE YOU HAVE TO SIT AND MONITOR WHAT THEY ARE DEDCUTING AND THEN GO BACK AND FOLLOW UP WITH THEM.

                                It appears the problem with you may have been a one off issue. There are millions of Tata Sky subscribers like me and most are quiet happy with their service. Its unfortunate that you had this experience. However, all DTH services have had some issues and so has cable!! So I dont agree with your criticism of Tata Sky.
                                As far as my experience with TATA SKY is concerned, they are very prompt in attending calls, sending their techy in time and the post-sale service. One should go for a MEGAPACK subscription if satisfactory and free service is expected from the TATA SKY. In total, we are having 450 connections in a big setup, no problems so far.
                                I am calling TATA SKY customer service nearly five times in ten days. They are giving FIVE compliant numbers but the techinician never turned up. I did not know weather they will come before my death. JAI for TATA SKY FOR THEIR CHEATING murali from chennai

                                  This is one of the worst company services one can ever have. Never go with these people services. The customer care people are very well trained to harass customers with improper information.Here is my nightmare story.

                                  I had subscribed last year for annual super saver package which according Tata Sky customer guys will be over in 22/04/09. I wanted to recharge for a day earlier for same package i'e 21/04/09. When I asked customer care guys to recharge for same scheme. The answer was to pay for base_package+-ve balance(Which was charged for discontinuing their service for add on package) + add_on_package. After paying all the amount the cutomer care guys say I have still -ve balance of 1.24Rs i'e for starting the service.

                                  after a lot of thank you sir from customer care for this nonsence service. I think these people must be exposed. Is there a way I can write the same to higher up authorities of Tata Sky.

                                  I am now surely discontinuing with these guys and support cable television. At least those people are better competitive and faithful than these guys.

                                    As per the discussion I had with your one of your executive, I been told that the relocation cost for Installation of tata sky has been changed now.

                                    We would like to inform you at the time of relocation (when we were moving from Bangalore to Delhi), one of your executive told us that you need not carry your dish along with the set-up box, leave the dish there itself (in bangalore) and you will get a new dish at your new premises (i.e. Delhi) + cabling charges after paying Rs.600/-only.

                                    Now when we want to relocate the Tata sky connection in Delhi (new premises), we have been told by Tata sky that we have to pay extra of Rs. 1000 for getting a new dish, as we have left our dish in Bangalore.

                                    Request you to kindly look into the matter, as we are not going to pay extra charges for the dish, as promised, please ensure to give us the new dish + cabling within Rs. 600/- (mail from your executive is attached herewith, where they have mentioned the cost (Relocation to unwired building (where cabling and /or dish is needed) as Rs. 600/- only.

                                    This is in continuation to the above grievance. I too was told that you should not take the hardware with you. Now when I have relocated, they say that you should have brought your hardware. This is harassment. To new subscribers, they are offering 500 Rs. installation charges. I just want my refund of money and would like to terminate the services.

                                    This was the last thing we expected from a TATA group company.
                                    Shame! They should also post their relocation policies on the websites.

                                        We are a TATA SKY customer for some years and our Digicard No. is[protected].

                                        Whenever switched off or power cut off, the set top box will not work. This has been informed to their customer complaint over phone, `N' No. of times for more than a year, but nobody takes response in TATA SKY to replace the set top box.

                                        We have to call their complaint section each and everytime and they will ask us to do some exercises for rectifying this. But it is always a total failure. It will show in TV as "This is not the right Digicard to the Digicom". When it will restore is well known to God only. For this, we spent STD charges several times.

                                        What non-sense it is ? If their own Digicard is not suitable to their own Digicom means, are we cheated by TATA SKY ?

                                        Recently we called their customer complaint and asked them to either replace set top box or to tack back the set. But none is responsible for this.

                                        If subscription is not paid on time, will they give continuous service to us ?

                                        Their service is based on money only and on honarary. That means are they not responsible for their service ?

                                        We will take this matter to consumer court and submit the set top box to show the irregular function before the legal authories.

                                        The TATA SKY is purely responsible for their poor response and the side effects going to be faced by them after our legal attempt.

                                        If their name is spoiled in the market due to this, the TATA SKY is solely responsible and we have given several chances to them earlier to correct themselves.

                                        Any Competitor of TATA SKY can visit us to see the poor performance of TATA SKY's set top box at our end.

                                        Our TATA SKY set top box is nothing but an idiotic box and whoever interested can visit us to see its poor performance.

                                        The wonder behind is, we are still believing foolishly that TATA SKY will set right the issue immediately.
