I bought a Vodafone sim no. [protected], ph no. [protected] on Date 26/12/2008. The sim was activated at 2pm on 27/12/2008. I purchased it from Agarwal Teleshop, 127/845, W-1, Saket Nagar, near Telephone Exchange, Kanpur. All the essentials that were required to purchase the sim were submitted on the same day. 4 days post-purchase of vodafone sim, services to my sim were barred. When I took my Query to my dealer, Mr. Agarwal, he ignored and said that his job is to sell the sim and not to solve the problems regarding the services. He further said that "Its company's job to look after your problem and not mine." Afterwards I contacted Mr. Anup from U.V.Telecom, Saket Nagar, Kanpur and he also ignored my problem.
I want to ask why do these companies activate the sims when they don't get the required essential documents? They should atleast inform the customers about the missing details or any such problem. Due to their irresponsibility, I lost the Tariff card that i got activated onto my sim and moreover I could not make important calls to my Doctor as I am a Heart Patient. Kindly consider my Query and my request to solve my problem and start the services to my vodafone no. mentioned above as early as possible.

i too got that problem. i removed the sim card from the phone and kept it again and it started working. i think the place where u keep the sim in the phone that slot has problem or the lock which dont allow ur sim card to come out. there is no problem with ur network or full phone. just only ur sim card slot.
What is the Message Center Number for maharashrta ..?I am not able to send message from my cell.
Kinldy provide me the number...

I have a vodafone number [protected] in which 99/- has been deducted on 22-jan for some call filter service without my request and after that when i call on customer care number my complaint has been logged and told that ur service ha been discontinud and appropriate waiver has been posted in your account and after that again i call on 29-Jan on customer care shailender took call and respond that ur service is still active and no wiaver has been posted for the same and when i want to talk with some senior person he disonnected the call after taking me 16 minutes on hold

when i talk with customer care and told him about that he convinced and return my Rs. 30/- and also telling me that it will not happen next time and it will be deactivated.
again yesterday while checking my credit it was found that balance is negative. it was obvious that in some balance was deducted and as per my thinking it was only astrological matter which is monthly.
yesterday i recharge my account with Rs. 100/- and trying to contact customer care but could not success while repeated (end no of times) times.
now i want the service you provide in terms of astrological matter that i donot want. please deactivated and return my Rs. 30/- at the earliest.

I am ****** *** holding Vodafone connection for Number 09899*94**4 from 2005 till date.

From 19-Jan-2009 I have shifted from Delhi to Banaglore hence now on roaming, and since that day Vodafone pre-recorded calls, messages and Vodafone executives or whatever keep calling minimum 5 times as day. As on roaming Incoming also costs me hence is that so why these have increased?

So to register a complain in this regard on 28-Feb-2009 I dialled TOLL FREE 111 and the first customer care person was unable to help so said transferring to Post Paid department. Then your CC exec named Jayalaxmi Gantur heard me out and then says sir you are logged to karnataka circle so cannot help. You need to DIAL STD for [protected] to register the complain.
So appaling since 111 is Toll Free and wherever am in India my complain should be registered as happens. Using airtel even by mistake if reach the Hyderabad cell or out of circle still complain is registered by CC exec, issuing a complain number and saying shall forward the same.

Howcome Vodafone is still lacking so far behind in technology? Get me on board and shall tell how to improve.

So I have decided that either you pay attention to my problem and help me or I dont need this Vodafone number service any longer, nor shall pay my pending BILL which actually is incurred on taking nothing but CRAP CALLS & MESSAGES from VODAFONE.

03-Mar-09 10:08 am - I get a call from your Vodafone executive [protected] and he himself says is unable to hear me, my voice is cracking & not clear. Inspite of that tells sir are you happy with our network services since its best and all.
Rather than listening to my problem and pain area your executive went on and on about how good Vodafone services are and mine is 1 in million case.
Seriously as havent heard on earlier mail as yet and the behaviour of your executive leaves me apalled, I dont know how long can continue with Vodafone services. Earlier when this was HUTCH I never faced such issues why with VODAFONE all has gone awry?

Wrong Commitment and dishonest of your Excutive


Iam savita Jaiswal, a existing Vadafone User. My Phone No. is [protected].
I have Received a call from vodafone excutive to change my plan to Bumpr plan but only condition to subscribe new number of Rs250. I am totally disagree with him and request to change plan on my existing number. He make commitment to me that this plan not for your existing number and you can't activate it on your existing number. He forced me to subscribe new number and commit to transfer plan to my old number within a month and close you new number . so, i had purchased a new number-[protected] from him. But he fail o fullfil his commitment even after three months
After consulting with your custmer care number[protected]. I know That the Plan can be changed on My existing Number also.

Now please rectify your commitment and please close this number as soon as possible
and I am not liable for any charges in this behalf and my complain also registered in
consumer court.

I would like to file a complaint against one girl who probably sits in your collection center or could be from any associated entity. Actually there is some bill outstanding against me which is due on my hyderabad no. The amount is around 4000 Rupees. The reason I didn't get chance to make a pyt as I generally travel to states and rarely I come to India since I came back from Hyderabad. This girl ( I dont know her name) calls me from [protected] and keeps on suaring. I dont know whats her problem, knowing the fact that she is illetrate and doesn't know how to talk to public, I could certainly understand but at the same time, I would want to take some serious measures against her in the court of law as she has suared me multiple times. I therefore, request you to either provide me the office address where this girl sits or just get the rid out of the folks like her who are the black spots for such a prestigious brand and dangerous on integrity matters. I am going to launch a FIR agianst her as I assume that after this atleast she would start talking politely. Fyi- I am working as an Operations manager in MetLife Newyork and currently I am in India. I promise you that once I gets the confirmation from the police that she has been scrued or from you that she has been fired, I will immediately make the pyt as it is really not a big amount.

I hope you will understand and take some corrective actions to eliminate this kind of mealies.
