Typical complaint on Vodafone. I obtained 2 SIMs in April 2011 with credit card authorisation, but the gallery forgot to submit the docs and I got penalised and had to go to the gallery and resubmit. on 18 Jan 2012 I ported my wife's phone ([protected]) from Loop to Vodafone and went fully armed with orginal and sefl certified copies of passport and PAN card (which have the billing addres in them), with porting code and credit card auhorisation on 18 Jan. The centre refused to date the application. I got a copy from them and have it. Porting got done in the promised period on 25 Jan and we also received an SMS about submitting documents which we were asked to ignore if already submitted. We ignored as we had submitted. Someone visited for verification and still within 3 hours of the visit, service disconnected without warning. She is a doctor and having the phone on is v important for her. Vodafone help was very very dismissive- refused to accept any issue and only parrotted that I need to revisit the gallery with the documents again to reactivate. Was told can't reactivate even temporarily despite informing them that this was a doctor's number.
However I was persistent and since I am a corporate user I called up cor help desk and while they needed me to resubmit the docs, a Mr. Prajapati at least got the number temporarily reactivated. My father visited the gallery to inquire and they said the documents were rejected(!) and they get no feedback on it and could be a signature mismatch and to reactivate I need to visit them again. I suspect the gallery has goofed up.
Am fed up with Vodafone and looking to port out my 5 post paid applicaitons which have a billing of 5, 000 per month.
Want to move since the vodafone brand promise of 'happy to help' is just cheap talk and an advertising gimmick.

Typical Vodafone. Something is majorly wrong with their process. In April 2011 I bought 2 post paid SIMs with credit card authorisation and the gallery forgot to file those and I was charged a penalty amount for not paying my bill on time. On 18 Jan I ported my wife's no, a doctor, from Loop Mobile to Vodafone (my 5th vodafone post paid connection- four in my name and the fifth in my wife's) and submitted the porting form, new app form, self certified copies of passport and PAN with the same address as the billing address, UPC code, credit card authorisation, previous bills from Loop mobile showing clear balances on 18 Jan. Today someone visited for verification and yet on 3 hours was disconnected for want of documents. Worse was the attitude of the help centre operators who wwre very dismissive and assumed we were in the wrong and refused to cosndier anything but the need for us to revist the centre with a fresh set of docs. When I spoke to the corp account supervisor, he at least got the no temp acitivated - which none of the others I spoke to could consider and indeed told me was not possible even when informed it was a doctor's no.
Happy to help is a very inappropriate brand promise for vodafone- pure hype- no delivery. I am now looking at moving all my 5 post paid SIMs with total revenues of about 80, 000 pa to some other provider and want to spread the word of Vodafone's poor service.

vodafone- prepaid connection — wrong billing/charging
i have my vodafone prepaid connection since 2009.I usually do the recharge in Hyderabad.At times when i go to places like Bangalore etc i used to do the recharge through the authorised
local Vodafone sales agent.Accordingly,I had asked for recharege of full talk time prescribed viz.Rs.222/-,
in a local vodafone agent.He informed me that as per the revised circular,the full talk time value has been
revised to Rs.250/- and taken Rs.250/ against this transaction on 28/12/2011.I received the confirmation
message RM[protected].But I did not get any credit to my prepaid account.I pointed out this to the
VODAFONE AGENT IN Bangalore and asked him to contact the customer care and take the corrective
action.But nothing happened.It is therefor requested that Vodafone authorities look into this mistake
committed by their advertising/Marketing people in misguiding the customers.I request that the amount collected
from me may either be refunded to me or credited to my prepaid account without delay.

Vodafone — wrong plan give which is not mentioned on the web site
I had refilled my Prepaid vodafone card with an amount of Rs 1000 through www.freecharge.in I got a message from vodafone that my Refill has been successfully done. And the balance shown was Rs 91.42.I failed to understand that so i called Vodafone and the call center person M/s Shilpa said taht you have been charged for Data service plan of 3G for Rs1000.
I still didnt understand and asked to speak with the senior person. So Mr Sahil Bhatiya came online and told me the refill has been made of Rs 1000 so it has been taken as Data package refill. If i had done refill of Rs 1001 then it would be for normal refill for calling local number.
He told me that i should have done the refill through Vodafone site because they mention there that the refill amount of Rs 1000 is for data service and for Rs 1001 is for regular local call recharge.
The website did not mentioned this information. He even checked it online but said he cant help me with it.
I fail to understand that if Vodafone is giving right to the other service providers for refill then they should make sure that they give correct information. On this Mr Sahil Bhatya commented that "Sir next time you refill through Vodafone and not with other service providers as we can not vouch for them, by what information they provide."
I would request Vodafone to take action against www.freecharge.in for not giving correct information.
I would even request Vodafone to refund my balance and take it as normal refill for local number usage and not for Data Plan.

Vodafone — Regarding the road underground cable connection work
Hello Sir/Madam,This is regarding the road underground cable connection work that vodafone company is doing in the sanpada, sector -5, area, since a week or two.
I, Anil Bhovad,(Resident of 104,Trimurti Apartment, plot no-38, sec -5,sanpada,navi mumbai-400705) wants to communicate to NMMC, that Vodafone company is doing some underground cable connection work, for that they had to dig a part of the road alongside footpath, while doing this, vodafone people had promised to level up(reconstruct) the road properly within a day or two.But till now they haven`t done it properly at all,Only Patch up work is done, which is going to create serious road issues in rainy season, especially at my building`s entrance gate, because of which we have to face problems while driving/parking a vehicle.
So Please take the necessary actions against this.
