[Resolved]  Voltas Ac — Customer service sucks

I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

golden electronics/air conditioner — service faults

given amc to golden electronics for one year for Rs..2000/- from 08/04/2011 to 07/04/2012 now the remote is not working properly which is included in the amc,they are not repairing the remote and forcing us to buy a new remote by paying Rs.1570/-approx.please help

Dear sir,
We purchase 14 split ac and 25 window ac for our hotel the abode from irani traders from dehradun uttarakhand.with in a month time when ac started the water dripping problem from ac. when we complain for that his response was not good. he took a action when we atleast call three time and after that he send a such stupid guy may be they dont have any knowledge of ac. they visit and they repaired our ac.
Ac proper worked only for one day after one day we face same prob. and when we complaint for that to the owner i forgot tht his name his nature is very rude.

i am waiting for your reply.And i hope you immediately take action against Irani Traders and please some spec. engeeneir of split ac.

I had purchased a Voltas IT split AC (Vertis Gold (1)) on 26/03/2011 from the Utkal Sales, 8(P), Acharya Vihar Square, Bhubaneswar, bearing receipt sl No D 3428. It was installed on payment of installation charge of Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only)(Receipt sl No D 3522). But the installation was faulty and through the connected pipe water penetrated into the inner walls and windows flooding the room. I requested Utkal Sales to rectify the installation and visited their shop a number of times. All these went unheeded. I had made nearly 100 phone calls, but the technician never visited. Not even a time was fixed for his visit. My household goods were damaged. Ultimately, I had no other option but to reinstall the AC on by another technician on payment of necessary charges.




Under the circumstances, I request you to take necessary action against Utkal Sales for consumer harassment and instruct the owner to refund at least the installation charges. I have to bear with all the loss of the household commodities.

My 1 ton voltas winow AC stopped cooling.Complaint lodged with cusomer Care on 06.06.11.
The technician got the AC shifted to the service centre.
Till date no job done.
Reason . They are unable to get the replacement parts.
Will it take months to get the parts.?

We have continous touch with this customer for inspection of his AC unit, however the customer not allowing us to inspect and service the unit, service tech.where has his demand only for replacement.Without inspecting the AC unit, we can't take any action for this customer AC unit. Awaiting for cust. appointment. No response from customer for our calls, sms & emails sent to him.

Buyed 1 ton split AC in may 2009; complaint on 24th July to srevice Center(M/s Weather Confort in NH 5 Faridabad) on 26th July they declare compressor is faulty.
On 27th July try to fit different size compressor on resists; make me wait till 3rd Aug; now they charge Rs.2100/- still AC is not workin today try to contact direct Mr. deepak of M/s Weather comfort and Mr. Sanjay Kaushik Voltas service Manager.

Waiting after 12 days also for AC service. and for which i had already paid to voltas.

NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS MY FAULT IS THAT I TRUST ON TATA BRAND.
According to me voltas has cheated me..

Voltas Vertis 2 Ton AC — ac not working

in my hotel i have installed all the ac(30 no.s) of your company having a good brand image but as per company reputation the service part is not up to the mark. Because despite of several calls to the service center of sambalpur they are not responding effectively, they come after two days. now how come i will have to block the same room for these days and when my ac have not completed even one year.

i have bought 5 no split AC( vertis elite ) from sanjukta electronic, balagandi, grandroad, puri, odisha[protected], 224858) on dt.[protected] .
before purchase we are discussed with him that we have required split AC only the outdoor unit made in copper condensor because our project situated at puri where is saltu climate.
they understood our problem and agreed with us and also convinced us .
But after purchase these AC s we got that all outdoor unit condensor made in aluminium . By buying the product from company like TATA we expect the problem would be understood and the product would be changed when it is not correct.
then i have made a complaint to the dealer and bhubaneswar sales executive but till date there is no response. when i am calling them they are again and again talk the copper condensor used in the machine. and has not taken any action

I request you to please tell me, what should i do ? we are helpless

I have purchased split ac(1.5ton-Vertis Elite) from your dealer on 8th of June 2011.From 2 months it is not working properly.I have complaint to your dealer(Chirag Sales) in Jaipur, rajasthan but he is not giving proper service or response and ac is still not working.
i m not satisfied with voltas split ac .I have been trying the toll free number for last 10 days but not able to reach further. I even called the service centre number in Jaipur and they say that service centre will not do anything.The AC is still under warranty.
So I want that I should be given proper service within one week otherwise I will complaint against you in consumer court’

I have baught a voltas split ac 1.5 ton on 21.5.2010 on 2 april, 2011 I request for Ist service they come and serviced the ac after that the Ac is not properly working somany time I londged the complain but there is not solution whole season we face a lot of problem. The frenchizy of voltas M/s Goel Traders from Inderpuri their engineers came and change so many parts of the AC but still it is not working, the owner of Goel Traders Ms. Sheetal Goel request me that pl. do not complaint again becuase of this my position is down I assure yuou that your ac problem will be solved as early as possible but till today my AC is not working.

Because of AC problem my father got tweice Asthama Attack, and he hospitalized twice in Mata Chanan Devi Hospital where I spent about Rs.40, 000/-

Kindly tell me where I make a complaint in consumer court kindly suggest me urgently.
I purchased Voltas vertis elegant AC on 22 may 2011 from your dealer Kumaon electronics, church compound nainital road haldwani dist. Nainital. The dealer’s service personal came and fitted the AC in my house on prescribed charges. Since the installation date it is leaking inside the room and on complaint the dealer service personal were sent to examinate it but nothing has been done so far. It has revealed that the AC is defected and the drainage plate is crack. On 12 aug 2011some person came from the dealer and treated the plate with Meal. I failed to understand that why the defected AC was supplied to me and till today after so many complaints it has not been replaced. I even sent complaint regarding this defect on voltas website and registered the complaint with toll free no. on 17 June 2011. The complaint no was 11JU1700042, after this I reminded so many time coating this no.on 3 aug 2011, I again called on toll free no. some shivani sharma received the call and inform me that now the complaint no. is 11AU0301739 and promised to redress within 24 hrs. when nothing was done I rang up on 5 Aug 2011 some Mr. Mandeep received the call and inform me registering the matter as AU0501438 sending the complain to the higher officer who will talk to me within 24 hrs but nothing has been heard or received from voltas . on 14 aug 2011 at 11:30 am, I ranged up to the toll free no. some Mr. Anees received the call and informed me that someone from our KGN service center will come to examine AC but I am again failed to understand a reputed company like voltas avoiding my complaint and from 22 may 2011 the date of purchase and till today nothing has been done on my complaint by voltas and the AC has not been replaced. If it is not replaced within a week I will have no option then to file a case against the company and the dealer in the consumer forum in that event you both will be liable for my cost and damages.

We bought Vertis Gold split A/C on 6th March, 2010, bearing serial no.4551135P10B000717,

One service person from Voltas came during Winter months and filled the service form without checking the outdoor unit, which I mentioned in the service form

We tried to contact the service center through helpline in the month of February to avail two free service coupons before the on set of summer months, but we did not get any response.

We started using the A/C in the month of last week of June as we were away from Delhi for summer vacation. We realized the cooling was not proper. In the first week of July we tried to contact again but could succeed only in the beginning of 2nd week of July, then technician came on 8th July and said the gas leaked, he charges Rs. 2450/-

Then the outdoor unit was lifted next day but was delivered back only on 14th July after a gap of 5 days.

It worked for one week and again the A/c was not cooling, again to get through the helpline itself took us one after innumerable phone calls, the technician came on 29thJule and again no action


If this is state of service in voltas, why I should buy another AC of your company


I bought Voltas A/C on the recommendation of one of our friends, though I have another window A/C carrier is working fine. Later our friend also faced problems with service aspect and he literally apologized us for having recommending Voltas A/C. He went for LG for his drawing room and other bedrooms.

We also bought voltas A/C believing it’s a TATA product but we realized it’s a poor product.


I[censored] don’t improve your service and manufacturing standards u will lose customers like us who will make an impact by discussing with our friends

Had I relied only on Voltas I would have faced severe problems in the harsh summer of Delhi

But I faced inconvenience, when my friends visited me recently without second A/C

TATA service department lack commitment towards company and towards customers

Voltas AC — Non Operations since more than a month now

Dear Voltas Team

This is to show extreme disappointment on being a Voltas customer. I purchased a Voltas split AC on 1 April 2011(Model No. : 1.5 Vertis Ton Splitserial number: 4551204A11A003900) and since then I have been raising complaints on complaints(total of 8 complaints) to your different Agencies and customer care offices for different reasons. And the major reason of my disappointment is you people who are owing the responsibilities and are feeling restful leaving your responsibilities on the agencies to whom you guys have left the responsibilities of caring your customers.
Currently I have been told by one of your agencies named Babylon Engg Co. at Preet Vihar(Baldev Park). They guys are behaving so irresponsible and are so non corencerned in their approach that I cant tell you. See guys its high time now and I am feeling really harrased now that I have no other way then seeking help of consumer court. this will be my last complaint which i am going to register with you and in my next step my lawyer would be talking to you through a legal notice.
