Dear Sir,
I bought One Voltas Split AC of 2 Tons Vertis Model on 26th August 07 from Ashoka Sales Agency Faridabad. It worked for 2-3 days in that season and then summers were over and it was not required. Since this AC is installed in our drawing room we use it very rarely i.e for not more than 12-15 times for 3-4 hours during whole season.
We were promised two free services of the AC. But we did not get any free service at all.
Next season of 2008 AC did not work at all. We made a complain. Somebody came after many days and said Capacitor is not working. If you want free replacement then wait for 7-10 days or if we want early resolution of the issue he can buy one from the markrt and make AC operative. We paid Rs. 450/- and got Capacitor changed and AC started working. I have the bill with me. It worked for not more than on 3-4 ocassions and then again started to give trouble. By this time summer was over.

During this season of 2009 AC has not worked at all till date. History of complains with complaint numbers is as follows:
1. Complaint No. 09JU100754 May 09. Person named Appu cell number [protected] came after 3-4 days from Weather comfort services an authorized service center of VOLTAS and said capacitor is not working and changed it. Ho took Rs. 550/- from us and did not give any receipt. Only gave Service Report. AC worked only once in his presence and then did not work again even once. We called Mr. Appu again and he told us to make complaint once again and tell them that our compressor is not working and they will change our compressor.
2. Complaint No. 09JU172797 was again lodged with Voltas and was attended by Mr. Ranjit. He said that this time a senior person will come and have a look at the AC and if confirms bad compressor then compressor will be replaced. Head of the unit Mr. Deepak came without any tools and AC was working eratically in his presence. He told that he shall get compressor changed at the soonest. It was around two weeks back. We kept on calling them and were told by Mr. Appu that compressor has been received for replacement and shall be replaced in a day or two. Mr. deepak told me 10 days back that he will come on that day with all tolls and recheck the AC completely. He did not come. I called again next day and he said he will come that afternoon. He never came and then therafter stopped picking our phones.
3. We called Voltas complaint center on 30th June and spoke with Mr. Sameer and requested him to put us to some senior person or supervisor to whom we could explain our problem. But he refused to put us to any of his senior persons and once again gave us a complaint no 09JU302824.

Please help us to resolve this problem.

    i am Gunpreet Singh having Voltas Ac 1.5 split V. Gold

    on 21nd of June i was facing a problem with my AC remote, so i register a complaint at [protected]

    with the complaint no 09JU221460 on 22nd June and receive message that the complaint will be solved in 48hrs..

    Till today 27th june, no one has visited at my home for my complaint
    i have complained at[protected] and [protected] many times about my unsolved problem but didn't get any response

    This is really a very poor service by Voltas...

    voltas company me koi sunyai hai k nahi .mera ac kam nahi kr raha koi to help kro meri
    ac mai se pani nikal ra hai plz kisi ko bhejkr service krva do .aur pehli bar ki trh plz late mt karna.
    My Voltas Split A/C is giving regular headache and the service obtained by the dealers located in Kozhikode is equal to nothing. I had to call them about 20 times , for them to come and see the product. The 'swing' in the system is not in proper working condition. It is almost a month since the service centre people have given us a visit. They told us that the part is not available with them and it has to be ordered from somewhere else. Now they are not even picking up the phone, even after paying a sum of RS. 350/- for the so called 'SERVICE' of checking the problem, without a solution. WE NEED HELP.

      I purchased a 1.5Ton Window AC from Voltas on 22nd May'09. On 29th May'09 the fan motor stopped working. Voltas sent its engineer to replace the motor dispite my repeated request to replace the entire unit as it was defected since no Airconditioner stops working within a week's purchase. One the motor was replaced the exact setting of the motor could not be done by Voltas. The engineer visited 4 times to reduce the noise. Before the problem with the fan motor could be resolved completely the AC has now started dispensing water inwards in to the room where it is installed than discharging it outside. On speaking with various serion level officials Voltas the only reply that I get is that it is a problem of the installation and that the machine is not deffective. I fail to understand that how can it be a problem of installation if the water was being discharged uptill now from the rear then all of a sudden it starts dispensing the water inwards. It seems one has to employ an individual on a full time basis to get these machines repaired on a daily basis. Because the officials at Voltas fail to accept that the unit is deffective and insist on only repair.

      Voltas window ac 1.5ton — given a burst

      the ac given burst while was switched off.. and have have registered a complaint on 2/9/2009. complaint no. 1016 with ludhiana custmer care of voltas. no one came regardng the complaint.. and was also not cooling properly.. and when custmer care employes come they always use to give useless excuses..

        I have bought a Voltas vertis plus 1.5 ton window AC from SK enterprises, Patna, Bihar on 21 Jun 09. the package was delivered by the dealer at home. when opened it was found that the AC has no company logo or name of Voltas written at the rear side of AC on a metallic sheet which used to be the trade mark of the TATA product. There was no user manual in side and the remote also was not having any company logo of the voltas company no name at all and no batttery to test its serviceability. However there is name of the model and company logo on the front side plastic body covey' grill.

        The matter was reported on telephone to the dealer and also questioned the genuineness of the product from the dealer and the customer care center of the company. the customer care replied that the product should have the company logo on the remote. the matter was also reported to sales manager and manager operations of voltas at patna on telephone. Since i was on military duty i could not personally go to the dealer on the same day and went to register the complaint in writing to the dealer only on 25 june 09 and deposited the remote as it was assured by the area sales manager that it will be replaced. The serial number of the product is 4010903A09E013065.

          Hello, .

          As per above subject we have installed 01 Tonn AC in July 2007.Now AC is Tripping on F6 fault code.
          but details of error are not mentioned in operation manual so you are requested to tell me the exact fault of AC.so that we can inform it to nearest AC dealer & can get service immediately.

          Same f6 message display but wat to do...
          I too get the same F6 Message on my 6 yrs old Voltas (2008).. And When asked the Service guys, they say its due to low voltage..
          But i have an another Voltas AC for another room and its been over 2 yrs and it works fine without any errors..
          I even use double Booster.. But no Use..

          The Older Voltas AC wer good.. We have been using Voltas AC (window type) from 2002.. And it never gave problems.. But these split types are the worst now..

            Sine the day I have bought this machine 4 months back(feb 2009) I havent used it only for 20 days, after one months there is no cooling water dripping, till todate (june 2009) machine is not working properly.

            I have complined to all the the mangers, area mangers but no action concrete action till to date.

            I appeal to government that Voltas AC should be band in INDIA beacuse of its POOR coustmer Service, and unproffesional approch in deling with coustmers.

              purchased Voltas 1.5 ton window AC on June 14th, 08
              Last year it worked fine. However since teh beginning of the season it is not cooling continuously. I called the technicians several times but they come, spend some time and go and the problem is persistant. This is the most inefficient technical support I have ever experienced. the technicians don't know either their job or they are deliberately not doing it well. In the process of calling them so many times I have also surpassed the warranty period. I have vowed that Iam going to claim compensation from Voltas. I will not let them go so easily. They have to either repair my AC properly without charging me anything or else they have to refund /replace the machine.

              we have purchase a 2 ton split ac from Fine Electronics(ballabgarh)faridabad, against bill no. 2156 dtd-19.05.09, On the second day we face teh non cooling problem.that regarding we complaint to M/S Weather comfort services & they take PCB of ac. then from last four week they have no reply against our pcb & no change them.In this regarding we have talk to mr. Ashok & his mobile no. is [protected].they dont pick his phone after giving one time reply

                Dear Sir,
                Even on repeated calls to your customer care representatives, the complaint for
                my water dispenser 09JU201404 has still not been attended to.it was on Friday, the 19 June that the complaint was first registered and today I urgently need someone to please rectify it as soon as possible as this is going to be the worse experience I can ever have with any of the home appliances I have at home.

                I hope You shall please look into the matter as soon as possible and do the needful,

                  I have bought Voltas AC on 1st February 2009 i.e its only 4 months o[censored]sage and I am getting lots of problem with this AC. First of all the cooling is very less or I can say its now not even work as a fan.
                  I am really fed of this AC because of this. Moreover the consumption of electricity is much more compared to the initial usage. This AC shows temperature of 33-34 degree most of the time.

                  Second the Noise it makes while running is unbearable. While running, when the AC Compressor starts/stops it makes a very irritating, heavy noise.

                  To troubleshoot the problem, I have called the Voltas Call Centre several times and after several followups a guy came but that too was In vain as he said there was no problem with AC. As of now I am still facing the same issue of cooling with this AC and now I am fed up of Voltas AC Performance and After sales service. I just want this AC to be replaced at the earliest.

                    Sir I purchased voltas water dispenser one and half year back from central market Lajpat Nagar. one week back it stopped cooling water. We lodged a complaint at Customer care. When technician came he told us that the compressure is burnt. He told us to buy new compressure for Rs 4000/ approx. We also lost our bill. Tell us the remedy. A company like voltas is supposed to replace the burnt compressure at this early stage. Waiting 4 positive reply

                      Dear readers, i purchased, a super mini, water dispenser, a product of voltas in july last year. since june 2nd the cooler part is not working, their technicians have come and decided to re gas the compressor unit, after finding leakages, after 16 days they took it to their workshop and repaired it. when i recd back the unit, their technician told me to fill the water into it. as i filled water it drianed out . now the dispenser had a water leakage. on further inspection their technician found the flexible hoses for the outlet valves are not connected properly, they asked me for cello or electricians tape, so that they can repair the pipe. when i insisted then they accepted to replace the pipe from local market. now one of the technician has taken the pipes for the sample and has not returned back since last 4 days
                      bottom line is that, repairs of such small item is being done by outsourcing... means they have contacted local repairer without proper training to handle the equipment.
                      our first job every morning is to call up their call centre no. and ask for the complaint to be attended
                      can consumer forum do anything about it.

                        I have 2 one ton split Acs, and have an AMC with voltas for which i have paid Rs 7000.My authorised service centre is Silica Cooling and Bhushan Electronics...both of which have offered me horrible service...15 days and my complaint is still open ...and voltas doesnt care...why are they charging the customer so much for an annual maintenance contract if they cant give good service.I spoke t the Manager Mr Rajesh ...he made the owner of Silica cooling call me...but still my acs are not working...I HATE VOLTAS service.wiill never tell anyone to buy it...

                          This referes to my earlier complaint on the subject mentioned above. The 1 Ton Voltas window AC, Model-Vertis plus was purchased on 31/7/2008 from M/s Kumra Engg. & Elect. Works, Dwarka vide Bill No.388, Book No. 008. I have to make Six complaints since its purchase. On 5/5/2009 Mr. Ramjanam, the Voltas technician checked the AC and found the PCB ( not MCB as mentioned my earlier complaint) defecti ve and taken by him to workshop. Since then I have called Voltas service centre/ Call center several time. Also contacted Mr. K.L. Verma ( [protected]) for the solution. Nothing has been done so far. We r suffering in this summer instead of comfort from Voltas.

                          Kindly help to solve the problem and compensate resonably.

                            Sir,
                            I am been using voltas air conditioners since 2004 and am very satisfied with the product. The product has outstanding quality and reliability. I have been referring voltas a.c to my friends and relatives since then.
                            Last year also I bought a 2 ton window a.c, serial no.[protected], from Baidyanath Electric Stores, Shyam Ganj Road, Deoghar[protected], [protected]) on 20/06/2008.
                            The a.c was working fine since last month when it stopped cooling. I booked a complain in the company’s toll free dept. on 13/05/2009, complain no. 09MY132812. A technician Mr. Rajeev from deoghar service centre ([protected]) came on 14/05/2009 and visited my place. He checked the air conditioner for about 3 to 4 hours and informed me that fuse & relay are defective and he took away these parts and told that he will replace the defective parts within 2 to 3 days. But after several reminders and hundreds of phone calls, he didn’t came back to rectify the a.c till 12th of June. He came on 13th of june, but even after working for 3 to 4 hours, he could not rectify the a.c.
                            I am really fed up with the quality of service which the local service centre is giving to me on behalf of such a reputed company. We are suffering a lot as the a.c is not working since more than 1 months. I am sending you’re the copy of the scanned service report of the technician who visited my place. My warranty will expire on 20th of june 2009.
                            Please take some serious steps so that our faith on the company remains intact.

                            sir, i have taken the voltas a.c (1.5 ton)split a.c. i have taken a.c from authorise dealer(anugrah electronics&appliances rohini, new delhi ). i talk to dealer regarding the complaint of my split a.c. still i have not get the positive response from company side. i have bought the two split a.c and one of them is not functioning properly.service engr is not yet visit to my home. the bill number is 4732 (boook no..95).the date of purchasing the split a.c. 28/06/09.
                            ihave made the call in complaint center . the complaint number is 09jl022349.id no isc0022293 on dtd 2/07/09. i just want to say there is no response from company side.the fitted date of split a.c. 30/06/09in evening . its hardlyone days go the a.c is not working.

                              I purchased above product, from Snehanjali, Malad on 27th March 2009, which was installed on 03/04/2009. Within a period of two months, it started giving problem. The AC gets off suddenly after working for 5 to 15 mins. then suddenly get starts after 5 to 15 mins. some times dont start at all for a long time, neither remote commands are accepted nor manual operations are accepted.

                              Lodged a complaint on 25/05/2009 with dealer which was attended on 30/05/2009 i.e. after 5-6 days. for 3-4 days after that it was working, n again same problem started, so lodged a complaint on 07/06/2009 which was attended after a week, no body bothered to take notice of complaint, the technician just ask me to wait at home, but didnt turned up. The after constant follow up a technician named vajid attended on 13/06/2009 n inspected the product n told me, that he will have to remove the product n take to factory, since that day being saturday, the work shop is close for two days, promised me to come at 11 am on Monday 15th June 09, but no body turned up, when called to him, he said he is out of town.

                              Within a period of two months if the product has developed serious fault, means there is a manufacturing defect, n so the company should replace the same with new one to me.

                                we bought split ac voltas two years ago. the problem is the remote. the remote is not working even if we changed the battery. can i get it repaired or i can get new one from the voltas company itself. So many duplicate are available. but i want only the original from voltas company. can i get it. what should i do to get it repaired.

                                  It has been repeated for the second time:-

                                  1) I purchased a VOLTAS 0.75 T AC( P 070 WiNDOW) with remote on 8.5.2009 from VIVEKS TAMBARAM, CHENNAI(BILL No. [protected]) which was delivered on 9.5.2009. The most important is when the pack was opened by the Installation person" Mr SARAVAN" he could not find the REMOTE, except only 2 batteries and manual were there, immediately it was informed to VIVEKS TAMBARAM, as on date the status of the remote is not known and it is very difficult to use the AC. I prefer to buy VOLTAS AC for its quality etc., but it is very sad that VOLTAS don’t care to check the parcel before delivery.

                                  2)This is also to inform you that my previous VOLTAS AC was delivered to me without INSTRUCTION MANUAL and as on date it is still pending.
                                  3) Even though I require a Split AC I do not want to buy from Voltas because I fear that next time(3rd) the Cartoon box may not contain the AC and instead some ? may be kept in it…..Off course one can accept/digest that only on 1st April……., being fools day….
                                  Its is very shame on TATA products, because as on date I was preferring TATA products but a reputed company has let me down.

                                  I would like to inform that the AC is being used by old aged persons and without remote it is very difficult. I kindly request you to arrange to deliver the remote by courier immediately and also acknowledge/admit the mistake and try to rectify it by employing sincere personnel’s so that the company’s reputation is not put to SHAME.

                                    I purchased two air conditioner (1.5 TONNE SPLIT AC) in april'07 in the name of Kanta Chhabra from Allied Industires, Daryaganj, Delhi. We got one of the AC installed at my home place and one at my shop in Mukherjee Nagar. The AC fixed at my home is working fine but few days back AC at shop started giving trouble as its cooling got decreased heavily. The serial number of the AC which is not working properly is 4550907/U/07/A/730437. I gave the complaint at VOLTAS CUSTOMER CARE and its complaint number is 09JU110936 dated[protected]. One of the person came to our place to tell us that this is the maximum cooling which we can get out from the AC which is never understandable as I am using this AC for last 2 years. I am owner of five AC's from VOLTAS all of which are working fine except this particular AC. And that person went away without repairing the AC and without service charges. KIndly do the needful and ensure that this AC should work properly as rest of my AC's are working.

                                    Air Conditioner — Non Working of AC

                                    Dear Team,

                                    I am Ashok Kaim having 2 ton split AC ( VOLTAS ) bought on 13th April 2011, i am tooooooooo frustrated with the AC, i have logged more then 10 times in customer care, every time technitiation come and say that AC is fine, after few hours, somewhere water likadge problem, somewhere Cooling Problem..

                                    I dont wanna this AC, and i want to register a CASE against the company..

                                    i would like to request to higher authority, plz take strict action against them, and help me to resolve the issue....

                                      This is Nithiyavathi, Admn Officer working for CEO Pvt Ltd, Chennai. A year back, we had purchased 6 ACs from Viveks, Annanagar.

                                      I have registered a complaint to Viveks Service on 29th May with relate to non working of one of our split AC. After continuous call and complaints to Viveks, a technician attended the issue on 5th June and left the place stating that a replacement of a minor part is required and said the problem will be rectified on the same day. However it is 12th June where in which i have not received any feedback from Viveks for correcting the A/c even after my calls to them.

                                      I am totally dissatisfied with the service they provide. Need guidance / support from the higher officials to look into the issue seriously.

                                      I have never seen a worst customer service in my life time.
                                      We got a 1.5 split A/C from viveks and after 2 weeks the A/C did not function.I made a complaint registered on june 22. First time i called they said 1 week time. i called after a week on 29th, they said july 3. after 2 hours i called again, they said july 11. a brand new A/C is not functioning and a worst service from viveks. Service center people does not have patience to answer our questions.
                                      I am never going to buy anything from viveks and make sure to get this feedback is posted on all review sites for electronics goods so that they will be aware of viveks and its service.
                                      yes one of the worst service I've ever had. they assured to give good service when we were about to purchase from them. after two or three months, when it was the time to clean my Air conditioner, i called them repeatedly and told that a foul smell is commin out of my AC. they said they'll come today, tomorrow, after 2 days. but they never came. i complained them and gave the worst feed back for them in their feedback option. then they finally came. at that time, when they came to clean, i was not there and they broke the direction changer and other things. So don't ever buy anything from viveks. They are giving some of the worst services.

                                        Two years ago, i installaed one window AC of 1.5 ton from Voltas.
                                        This ac stopped functionning this month and i lodged the service request on Voltas dealer in kota (chaudary international). The first time i was told that the service technician would attend within 48 hours. No body visited. After waiting for one week, i started following up with the dealer but, everytime i am told that the technician is visiting today. Finaaly, i approached the website of Voltas to fing two email addresses, one of Head, Mumbnai Region, Mr A K joshi and second of Prakash, and sent them email on 25th April, 2008 requesting for intervention, but to my surprise, both the emails bunced back.

                                        We donot expect the poor service support from the TATA group compny, who claim to have INDIA KA AC.
                                        Yes, they truly have INDIA KA AC-----No service Support. The other MNC have very quick service backup and truly respond back within 48 hours.


                                        My strong recommendations... dont get carried away by INDIA KA AC...DONOT BUY VOLTAS AC - or else have a failed AC in peak summer...INSTEAD buy some brand which gives good after sales...GODREJ is one definitely...
