[Resolved]  Voltas Ac — Customer service sucks

I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

The Voltas Vertis model AC was bought two year ago, and shop keeper told me "voltas will provide after sales servicicng" and i didn't get . and Ilogged a complaint in cusyomer care tand they are not responding. its a totally harshment.My complain no.12404 i had given 20 times call they r no responding.

voltas 1.0 ton split ac — treating badly to the customer

Dear sir,

i have purchased one voltas 1.0 ton a/c model ver classic (c[protected]c[protected] at shree dhanalakshmi enterprises at Tiruttani on 1st April 2010. i have payed Rs.18,700/- towards the fitting charge

Today morning a technician from Arakonam arrived install the set.The technician was very harsh and he didn't behave properly to the customer.the technician demanded RS.8000/- for fitting the A/C.
I'm helpless and restless .Please do favor.

TATA SPLIT AC 1.5 TON — NOT WORK PROPERLY

I had purches one unit spleet ac 1.5 ton from climet control bank road gorakhpur.but these ac is not work properly.its cooling system is very poor.
I M AN ORTHOPAEDICIAN IN BATRA HOSPITAL IN NEW DELHI..I BOUGHT MY A.C.LAST YEAR ON 22ND MAY..LAST THURSDAY THE FAN OF THE OUTDOOR UNIT BROKE OFF.I FILED A COMPLAINT ON FRIDAY AND THE MECHANIC CAME ON MONDAY..ITS BEEN 9 DAYS MY PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED AND MY LIFE HAS BECOME HELL DUE TO THE VOLTAS AFTER SALES SERVICE...IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ME IN SOMEWAY BECAUSE THE MECHANIC TOOK OFF MY ORIGINAL BILLS ALSO..

I had purchased air conditioners of voltas vertis plus, 1.5 ton last year on 17 may 2009, from sound and image electronics, jail road new delhi 18, 1st free service done on 29 oct 2009 and 2nd service is due in march of 2010..i made call on 20 march at voltas customer care...call number is 10mr2003772..i made so many calls to the customer care they talked to me they said we will send engineer to your home but nobudy went...2nd request number is 2700927...when i made call to the customer care they said a man came at our home from united refrigeration, dwarka...they said engineer went our home on 22nd march .and engineer have done service of our AC..bt nobudy came at our home for service...till now..we deeply regret to say that voltas after sales service is very poor and people are not at all bothered..ma slf harjinder singh ..cell number is [protected]...my email is [protected]@ymail.com

I bought a 1.5 T Vertis Plus Window ac.I got 2 free service coupon with that.We have lodged a complaint for Free Servicing on date.27.03.2010 at your service centre details mentioned below :

But untill dt.05.04.2010 no body has to attend my complain.
Dealer is unable to provide Service & Voltas customer Care centre is not responding properly. How can one suggest to go for voltas product with such a pitty exp.

voltas a/c — Bad customer support

i have requested a Demo for my new A/C and it's almost 10 days and there is no update from Voltas.

Voltas should feel shame as they are not able to serve this simple request.

Voltas Vertis Plus Air Conditioner — Air conditioner is not working since first day & even on complaining only got reassurance but till now no one has visited to repair the AC

I bought 1.5 Ton Window AC of Voltas Vertis Plus ten days back but
still i am unable to use it. As its fan was making noice thus i made a complaint on
31st March 2010, (Complaint No. 10MR3104455) but till date nobody has visited me. I
was assured that an engineer will visit me within 24 hours, which lateron they said
will visit by Monday i.e. 5th April 2010, but till now i dont have any clue of who
will visit.even they have changed the complaint number to 10AP0600244 Kindly help me in this regard
I bought voltas vertis elite 1 ton ac at Vasath&Co, Velarchery, chenai on 01/04/2010. On buying, the dealer told me that the ac would get installed on the same day, but no one has yet turned up from voltas service to do the installation. It is one week since i bought the ac. This indifference and negligence from the seller side is highly irritable. I don't know if the fault lies with the dealer or the voltas service.
I too find the service rendered is ridiculous. People are not listening under any cirumstances whatsoever. They just claim they have a wonderful customer care service, but on the contrary it is just the opposite. I purchased a Split AC Voltas Vertis and the very next day it started giving problem. When complained no one was available to repair. I had to go in the scorching heat to get the service personnel myself (imagine the toll). the commute was about 11 kms just imagine the sun's treatment to me. He came and after having seen the problem was not interested in changing the set rather that changing the kit. It worked well then. After some time, the same problem happened and again no one was listening. The irony here was that in the presence of service personnel this was working well and when they were gone it was horrible. For this again, I went out in the scorching heat and got the man and showed him and only then he believed that there was a real problem. here I want to say that people in Voltas believe that customers are stupid and unnecessarily disturbing them although the cause was genunine. This time again, the fan is not working and no one is listening. I have contact number of people from Bombay, Calcutta, Jamshedpur, but only the one from Calcutta ensured that things will happen, but here in Jamshedpur no one is listening. I vehemently believe that customer service is the worst here.

I have purchased an Window Air Conditioner (Voltas Vertis Plus) 1.5 ton last year dated 28 June 2009. The machine have been first serviced on 12 March 2010, by Bhardwaj Engineers (152/2, Hari Nagar, Ashram, New Delhi-110014 by Mr. Niranjan) whose receipt no. is 17804. We started using our AC on 2 April 2010 after that it is creating critical problem in its working. It is making a lot of sound which is untolerable. We launched a complaint against the problem on 4 April 2010 complaint no.10AP0400268 customer Id- C0015134 complaint received by Mr. Shiva. We again launched a complaint on 5 April 2010 received by Mr. Shiva. On 5 April 2010 evening engineers ( Shokat Ali & Mahender) from Bhardwaj engineers attended our complaint, checked the machine and told that the problem has been created due to the mishandling of the person who had last serviced it and some internal part has been damaged which is not available with us under warranty but you can get it paid. On 6 April 2010 we again launched complaint at 11:19 am received by Vibha with same complaint no and customer Id. Till 8 april 2010 night noone had came to attend the complaint.Same night when we started our AC at 11:15 pm, the machine has been sounding 4 times more than before and some kind of smell is also there in the machine.
If there is some mishappening in our house due the AC, the Voltas Limited and Bhardwaj Engineers will be responsible for that. I again request you to sort out the problem today only(9 April 2010, evening) by your senior engineer otherwise we will file the complaint with consumer court and media as well. For our step to the consumer court the Voltas Limited itself will be responsible for that.
1.Today dated-09/04/10, time-9:42a.m, i had a word with Ms. Sarika, who transferred the call to Mr. Arshad at 9:47a.m.Mr Arshad commited to me that i wil get service of ac today only and that to be through expert engineers.But till 4:10p.m. none of your engineer came for the service.So i am forced to do an e-mail again to you.

It is for your information and record that I have brought a A.C model Voltas Plus 0.75 Tone vide invoice no 3818 dated 12/05/2009 from your dealer A.S.Asia Electronics, 18-B, Gautam Nagar Market, N.D.110049, but till the date of installation nobody bother to provide services under guarantee period by the company.



I visited personally to the dealer after failing to lodge compliant on the no’s provided in the booklet/operation manual and the dealer assured me “that he will book the complaint and send the service person to my office on or before April 3, 2010.The dealer booked my complaint no-10AP0702861 and also provide us a telephone no 66628695 for back up, but unfortunately after a long trying this telephone no. continuously coming busy.



Hope you will take care of my complaint and pass the necessary direction to the concerned department or officer in charge to save the prestige of your company as well as the big name behind.

I had booked a free second service for the window 1.5 ton AC installed in my house on 27.03.2010 vide 10AP0301197. I was told that the service shall be done in a couple of days.
On 06.04.2010 i got a call saying that service engineer shall come for service ar 3 pm. Today we are on 10.04.2010, 3 pm is yet to come !. Does Voltas give such type of service ? This is only the second service which I have asked for ?? I feel Voltas to only sell products as it is least bothered about services. I feel it does not even chk whether the call status is open or closed. Can there be any wake up call in Voltas pls

the service of the company is very poor. I had purchased a Split AC on 29.4.2009 and from the day first it never worked properly. The full year passed on lodging complaints and it was only in the month of October when the service personnel detected a gas leakage in the external unit of the AC and I was made to understand that the problem has been solved. Now again the AC does not perform properly, when I contact the service center they advice me to lodge a complaint on toll free and the complaint lodged on toll free yields no result as can bee seen that I booked a complaint on 30.3.2010 vide no 10MR3003660 and till date nothing has been heard . This is really India's AC

I have Purchased a Voltas Vertis 2 Tonne slit AC on the 6th of April from Devi Electronics - Bangalore and I noticed the following problems immediately after it was installed on the 6th of April 2010. The first problem - Ineffective Cooling I think due to insufficient Gas and the second Issue with the LCD Display unit or the sensors as the Room Temp is being shown inaccurately. I called their 1800 number and lodged a complaint on the 6th of April, the Compliant number being 10AP0603621. They sent a person on the 11th of April 6 days after raising the issue and that person did not have the equipment to check what the issue was neither did he know how to troubleshoot. He switched on the A/C and told me that he had come from a dealer representing Voltas and does not have the knowledge or equipment to resolve the problem and left within 5 minutes stating that he would send his owner today. No one has called or turned up today effectively a week after i have purchased a brand new A/C i am unable to use the A/C. Voltas is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life and need to be taken to task for cheating their customers
I have purchased voltas window ac 1.5 nine months ago, one service has been done already but i am still finding the problem of automatic on and off of AC and its remote is also not working . i have done the complaint for the same to the dealer i bought the ac but he is not responding from last 2 months.
