The printing & despatch of voter I-cards was poor.It took me three attempts & 10 days to get the cards for my family wherein the dobs are all wrong again! I went out for voting on the 30th with I-card & slip giving the details of my voter no but there was no way to find out the right polling booth.Miserable arrangements by Election Officers.It appears that even elections have become an opportunity for authoritarian callousness, neglect & irregularities.And then we blame the people for poor turn out.Would the Election commission wake up & take action against the erring officials?The Lucknow election office portal is Non-functional.

I have visited three polling booth namely - St Meeras inter college, Bal vidya niketan transport nagar and at Behasa village but could not find my list viz - 118/882.

Our names figured in the voter list, we had voter identity cards and we have been voting from this address.
We shifted from this address to the following address:

2. Flat No.F-1, Muskan Apartments, Sector-A, Aliganj, Lucknow, Pin-226020.

We submitted the duly filled forms for voter identity cards for our new address in room no.10 at Tehsil, Lucknow on 27 February 2009. We were given the receipt and told that we would get the voter identity cards at our home address. We were not delivered voter identity cards at home address. Even after many visits to this place later, we could not get our voter identity cards for address no.2. . In the meantime, our names were removed from the voting list of address no.1 without addition of our names in the voting list for address no.2. This has deprived us the voting rights in the 2009 General Elections.
After the elections also even after many visits to the place, we have not been able to get the voter identity cards.

1. bring to book people responsible for deprivation of our rights to vote,
2. get us issued our voter identity cards.

1 sir my family has submitted properly filled forms in august 2008 for the voters id card.
even after contacting the concern persons in tehsil office, we could not get the card .2 there should be proper notification when the concern authorities open camp offices in the area.

I would like to put light on the repeated problem which I have faced many a times.I have applied for my voter id card long back but unfortunately I have not received the card yet.My name was also enlisted in the list at the time of last election held.
It has been frustrating for me to go into different offices again and again, ending up with no positive result as usual.Every time I visit some of the office where I am supposed to get the card, someone over there says that no cards have come yet.Same result has been obtained on every visit made at the tentative date received after inquiry.

Voters Identity Card — Voters Identity Card

It is quite unfortunate that despite of technical advancement in our Country, the Election Commission of India is not able to fulfill the issue of Voters Identity Card to all the Citizens who are eligible but due to some unavoidable circumstances did not get their Voting Identity Card. Why does the Election Commission Commission is still not able to implement the system for availing the Voters Identity Card online. Citizens of India are availing PAN Card online as implemented by the Income Tax Department of India through NSDL etc. by paying the processing fees & requisite documents as per their regulations. It is high time that the Election Commission of India should implement the above referred procedure, if they really want to do high visionary governance to the Citizens of India.

My date of birth is not correct on the Voter Id Card.

in my Voter Id card my name is mistake, A S V S S RAJU, it is showing as ARJARAPU S VENKATA RAJU, and my father name A satyanarayanamurthy, it is showing a satyanarayanaraju, how to rectify these two mistakes, do me favour.

I am resident of Bihar, and working in Gurgaon. Previously I got my Voter Id card through my Guardian, in that some mistake was there
i. In my there was a mistake.
ii. in my Father's name there was a mistake.
iii. Address mistake.
iv. My photo is not clear.

So, I want new Voter card with current photo and corrected mistakes. Please give me information How I can apply, is there option for applying online.Because I am working in Gurgaon, when election enrollment person gone for update in my home town I can't present there.
Also I wan't my wife, s voter Id card, which till now I didn, t get. In voter list her name is present.

Is there any rule for applying Voter Id card application online. and if any site in which I can see my voter Id card detail, by filling my old Voter Id card number. I am resident of Bihar, and my card is also of Bihar

I HAVE GOT AN ID WITH SOME ONE ELSES PHOTO AND REST OF THE DETAILS ARE CORRECT. THE OFFICIAL VOTER LIST HAS THE CORRECT PHOTO, IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET A NEW PHOTO TAKEN ISSUED WITH A NEW VOTER CARD? WHERE AND WHOM I SHOULD APPROACH? i AM LIVING AT C-12, GOLDEN JUBILEE APARTMENTS, ANNA MAIN ROAD, K.K.NAGAR CHENNAI-600078.

iam live in a ganiathkuru, kanchikacharala(m.d), krishna(DT), AP.

iam studying 3rd b.tech. iam belongs to ecnomically backward cast. i want to apply a schoolarship. but i do not have a ration card . then iam go to M.R.O office in ten times for applying for ration card. but they do not take compliant and they do not respond. iam want ration card for my study purpose. what iam do plz tell me sir. my M.R.O do not respond.

my problem is that i have my voter id card from U.P. state where my parents livs . i got my voter id card but problem is that there is no clear photo on it its totely hidden . and now i m in DELHI state and i need to show it but most of time i got refused by it . so sir please help me out ...
