[Resolved]  Westside — Club Card Not Recd

Hi

I have purchased Items from Westside - Ahmedabad (LawGarden Area) at that time they have shown me some club membership schme and I have filled up the form and was told by the counter person that I will be getting card within 45 days and benefits will be recd on the same.

After that I have purchased three times from the Westside same outlet... each time they told... kindly give your moblie no. , landline number so your reward points can be ensured..... last time on 4/12/2009 bill no: SLF02W[protected] when I made purchase and seen the bill it was showing another card members details with Name SHREYA MATHEW.... with ref to card no: WOW[protected] ADDRESS: 2A, CENTURY TOWERS, AHMEDABAD. CASHIER NAME WAS: SHASUT.

Now can anyone suggest how it can be possible that i am making purchase and another person is getting benefits out of that????? WHAT IS THE FUN OF GIVING SUCH CARD AND MEMBERSHIPS IF WE ARE NOT GETTING ITS ACTUAL BENEFITS?????? AND I DECIDED NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM NOW ONWARDS FROM WESTSIDE AS THEY MAKE FOOL TO PEOPLE. If anyone has objection with my statement can speak to me at anypoint of time on [protected].

I was to reseive my Card by August but on repeatedly asking i'm only told that my card was despatched in November end which never reached me. There is no prompt help from your customer care. they just dont seem to be bothered. If anybody actually cares do contact me on details feeded on my account in your system..

My name's Gitanjali Mukherjee and I'm a resident of Kolkata. On the 11th of October I purchased items from Westside of which I am a loyal customer and I was told that my card was expired so I had to apply for a new one and that the existing points would be added. I was also told that I would receive the new card within 10-15 days. So when it was the 27th I called the store, and it was amazing that I actually got through. I'll tell you why, when you have numbers published everywhere, there's a reason right? So when you have a phone, you're supposed to answer it right? Then why is it so that after calling 23 times on one day AND I'M NOT KIDDING, why could someone not answer it even once? It's the lousiest customer service ever!!! So it was a miracle when I got through and then I was told that the new card was on the way and the 539 points that had to be transferred had been done there.

However, when I called them today, after 13 tries, I was told that the points would not be added and there was no card under that name because the points had expired and so I would not be getting a card. Now obviously I'm not an who applied for a new card just so I wanted many blank cards with me. I applied for it with a reason. And just for your information, whenever I did go in to the store to purchase something and redeem the points I was always told that the server was down. Now isn't it very coincidental and convenient that when the time comes to redeem points or transfer points something has to go wrong. So what I am saying here is that now I don't have a card yet and my points won't be transferred. Just know that if these points have expired it's all because of your store in Kolkata, more so the one in Camac Street, the one I always go to.

I have been harassed enough. Tomorrow I'm giving it one last shot. I want the points transferred, expired or not and I want the new card and then I want compensation for the harassment. And for God's sake, pick up the receiver when there's a call. We don't just call to hear the phone ring. It's not something that amuses us.
By the way my name's Gitanjali but because I was operating from my sister's account the user name is different. She can guarantee that.
