Hi Team,

I have taken country vacation membership on 18th Feb 2018, but sue to some reason I have cancelled their membership the very next day(withing Cool off period). As per their rules, if we have cancelled the membership within cool off period then will get refund by deducting some amount within 120 days.

Now its been 1 and half year still we haven't received the refund. We called their customer care, also visit their office so many times but they are not replying to us. Also for that we are paying EMI for credit card, since transaction has been done by credit card. We have paid 105000/- amount to them.

    I have taken country club membership in last year june 2018 and it was told me that you can avail your holiday anytime and if you were not able to avail your holiday in any year than it will be carried forward and you can avail that in next year.

    I was planning to avail holiday from last year but due to unavailability of dates i was not able to book. Before one month i have found available date for solan/shimla and sent email to reservation team for the booking but they have not booked the vacation. See attached email.

    Now i saw in the app that that holiday is expired and i can not book it while it was mentioned that it will be carried forward.

    I have very bad experience with country club from the start. I want that my holiday enabled as per conversation or refund all my money immediately.

      I have taken membership of country vacation in the year of 2011, after 3 months i have emailed to them to cancel my membership and inform to refund the amount but they informed that it will be done after 6 months, that didn't happen we have continuously following up with them from past couple of month but no use. I have paid 90000 and i have all the docs with me.

      The informed that they will provide a plot and many promises but they

        I had deposited an amount of rs 135000.00 on[protected] and a receipt to this effect was given to me on[protected] by mail. As per the agreement paper given to me much later i had a window of 10 days for cancellation of the membership with a deduction of rs 3800/-. I collected the agreement paper on[protected]. On scanning the agreement paper and on receipt of feedback from various sources i decided to cancel the agreement. A mail to this effect was given by me on[protected] well within the window of 10 days requesting for cancellation less their admt charges of rs 3800/-
        I wish to state very clearly that i have been cheated by the lady sales rep along with her male boss.
        Her grounds of mis-statements were -
        1. T he company would arrange for my visit to any place in india through tie up arrangements even if it did not possess a property over there and this would be absolutely free for certain days.
        2. The company would provide me with free accommodation even outside india also for free where it had a tie up arrangement for a fixed period of days..
        3. I was supposed to pay a sum of rs650/- for all the three o[censored]s towards breakfast and dinner.
        4. I was given an option of installment payment of membership fees for 12 months but at the time of payment the entire money was taken by credit card and i was told that the emi would be given by the bank.
        5. The lady sales rep even told us that we could go on a trip and if we found that the club was not upto our liking we could cancel the membership with a nominal deduction.
        6. The company would provide car for travelling from one place to the other for our holiday trip for a nominal charge of rs 10/- per km.
        7. A payment of rs 10500/- would have to be given by me as gst charges when i avail the facilities of the club’s property and not otherwise.
        On checking all the above i found that it was nothing but a bundle of lies to deceive me because whatever she had told were nothing but lies to cheat me.
        1. The tie arrangement is nothing but a eye wash because i will have to pay for the stay and is not for free.
        2. The charges for stay outside india will cost me around $125/- and is not free as stated by them.
        3. No such payment of rs 650/- is permitted but payments have to be made at actual as per the rules of the place.
        4. The installment charges of the bank would attract a high rate of interest by the bank depending on the tenure and is not free.
        5. On enquiry with the company i was later told no such agreement exists.
        6. The company would charge me at the market rate and not as per the rate told by the sales rep.
        7. The charge of rs 10500/- is maintenance charges to be paid every year which is compulsory.

        I was not allowed to see the agreement properly although i was made to sign the same, everything was done within an hour or else we would not be eligible for this offer.
        Based on the above i wrote several mails and also letters to their h. O. And local office. No letter came from their side but a mail from their customer care has come stating that since i had claimed beyond the 10 days cooling period the money would not be refunded and i am supposed to sell, transfer or rent the membership through my own contact.

          Me and my husband join with country club hospitality & holidays ltd. And pay 73000 from my credit card on 06/02/2019.
          Next day we call customer care to get some information but not reply properly so we decided cancellations this lifetime membership.
          We call customers care office and say this they disconnect our call and not reply.
          Then we go to rajkot office they are also say this membership is not cancellation and your amount is not returnable.
          We read our documents clearly.
          In documents clear mention customer able to cancel this agreement in 10 day from agreement.
          We want cancel our membership on next day and give application and also sent mail to head office and rajkot branch. So we request in time but company and rajkot branch not any reply.
          Please suggest us what should we do for return our 73000 amount back.

            I and my husband attended the sales presentation of country club/vacations as we were lured in to attending one last year in march 2018.
            It seems our mobile number had won some gift and to collect it we were called to office no - 308-309, connaught place, 3rd floor, bund garden road, near wadia college, pune:- 411001 (Phone[protected]/534) to collect.
            For sake of curiosity we went there, we were requested to sit through the presentation of half an hour with noisy music in background, before getting our gift. Unfortunately, we did sit through the session and fell prey to the sweet sales talk of persons and got ourselves enrolled as members of country vacations by paying rs. 65000/-. The actual amount of scheme we had opted was supposed to be rs. 1, 48, 000/- but we didn't have that much amount with us and so were given option of paying partial amount by debit or credit card and remaining by bank cheque. We ended up paying rs. 65000/- by way of debit and credit card both, and we asked the person to visit our home next day for collecting the cheque of remaining amount. This was on date 31st march 2018
            After coming home, we were discussing about our new adventure with rest of family members, and during those discussions we realized that we actually have over committed ourselves for the cause that was not at all required for the lifestyle we are following by any o[censored]s. We realized that we have made a mistake as we need funds for a situation arisen in family
            But we also decided that let's not get fully involved and let's try to get it out before things get completely closed.
            We were given an agreement of our membership and we read it thoroughly to understand the termination clause. We realized that there is a possible way out if we intimate the customer care via email about our decision to pull out. We will get fined for rs.3800 and our money will be returned only after 120 working days. Though it was still a huge loss for loosing rs.3800 for no reason, and also losing interest on the big chunk of amount for next 120 days.
            But we were still content with the feeling that there is a way out and we didn't pay the remaining amount yet.
            We called the sales manager mr. Samuel patil next day morning who was our primary contact explaining him that we have suddenly come across an emergency in family for that we needed funds and we would like to withdraw from the scheme we had partially paid for.
            He did tell us about the same procedure for opting out of scheme but as expected he also asked us to come and meet him to discuss the matter in detail.
            Meanwhile we sent the email to customer care on date 4 april, 2018 explaining the reason for opting out of scheme and asked them to confirm the date of returning our money.
            Later we also went to their same office i think in next couple of days, and were waiting to meet mr. Samuel patil or his senior mr. Sam. After waiting for very long when no one turned up to meet us, we inquired at the security about the whereabouts this person, and he told us with hush voice that the person we are looking for has been beaten severely by some other clients and now that person and his boss both have gone to police station.
            We tried calling mr. Samuel patil on his cell, and this time he picked up our call and told us that he was in hospital and that he will meet us in couple of days.
            This incidence made our resolve to get out of scheme even stronger and we left that place with determination that we will meet this person after two days and force him to return our money back.

            When we went to their office again after couple of days, and inquired with security about this guy and his boss, security said that both of them have not come to office from past few days. We realized that they must have both left the job or may have been asked to leave the job. We then requested him to help us meet any other person who could talk to us.
            We met another person and explained him the entire story. He assured us that we will get our money back as per the agreement in 120 days. Their hyderabad office will send the demand draft to pune office, and pune office people will call us to collect the same.
            We had to return with no option but to count days and keep reminding them about our refund.
            We ideally should have got our refund back by 15th august 2018. However, as we didn’t hear from anyone till that date, we wrote many emails and tried calling numerous times to the customer care in hyderabad.
            Even the interfacing people at pune office have changed at least twice, everybody claiming that the refund is in process.
            But to date we have not got any update except that the case is under process / from the company about the refund status and any assurance of they returning our money back.

              I wanted to cancel my country vacation membership which is useless. I am trying to rent or sale but no positive response. On this i don't want to spend my time to call useless people and get time wasted.

              I had never used their facilities so i had requested several times to cancel the membership and return my money, but instead they never let me speak to the right person asking to speak to different branch. Also, they kept sending reminder emails and phone calls to pay annual membership renewal. I was so pissed off an asked not to send anymore reminders and i didn't pursue the refund as i felt they only make me furious and lose my temper.

              This is to create an awareness to at least a few people about these fraudsters who make money by giving false promises and inducing the excitement of the people. They target the middle class people and make them aspire to live a rich man's life. They keep saying that we all need to take family vacations bi-annually to be happy and they give us this opportunity by offering to use their facilities present nationwide for a small membership fees on a big discount on that particular day. But in reality you could never go on that vacation and moreover their facilities are always booked, may be there are so many members and limited facilities.

              I feel cheated and become a prey, because they made me visit their place by giving a small bait by the way of a small gift. They made me pay a huge sum (Rs. 250, 000) for which i got nothing at all, except family dispute. I'd like to warn you about these people, they are only behind your money and you sign up with them if you really think you would need their service, don't fall for their compulsion. Take a day or a week to think before you pay them any money, it might never come back once you had paid.

                  Cancellation of country vacation membership which i had taken it on 30th march 2019. The agreement differs from the promises made by the sales person. I have already asked country vacation on the 2nd day (31st march 2019) over email written to [protected]@countryvacationsmail.com for cancellation of my membership but have not heard back from them. Even have tried over phone but no response.
                  The membership was promised to be 10 years and in the membership letter it shows 5 years. The amc amount was promised to be 10, 500/- but that is also not true. There is difference in the agreement with a yearly increase by 5%. I have tried to reach out to the sales person but that was of no use. They are avoiding the calls.
                  I have fully paid the amount and need cancellation of the membership with full refund.
                  Note: i have taken the membership from bangalore location.
                  I have even contacted the bangalore branch but not resolution.

                    I have been going to office and calling representatives who made me the member since one month and there is no positive response to anything promised. And even after whatever they said, we asked to get our travel booking done as our app is still not working even after full payment, but whenever we go to their office they just have one excuse : Some renovation is going on Or Customer Care people are facing some issue hence the delay Or most of their team members met with an accident and are hospital for some reason or the other whenever I have tried to reach them in last one month.
                    The last option being to return our money as they promised this as well that if we do not give the services we said, you will 200% get your money refunded, now nobody is reverting on the same.

                    Infact I even suggested different options on different dates as each time the reservation wasn't made due to some internal issue which I still don't understand and till now nothing has been finalized and its just being delayed. I need to cancel my membership, as nothing promised is delivered.

                    I agreed to take the membership under the pressurized tactic just because I was interested in going to places. That sole purpose is being denied by Country vacations, what do I expect now, if its not letting me reserve my holidays itself???
                    I want the refund. Please help get that done.

                      Dear team,

                      I attended one session with country vacations and purchased membership with understanding that i will be billed 4000 inr emi for 3 years. However, manager mr. Abdul swiped card for 2 years and have made me pay 7031 inr emi every month. Also, he said i will be getting 5% cash back as offer from citi bank if i used my citi credit card. Also, he mentioned i will get 10 days international trip and he will arrange for it. Since day 1 i have been calling mr. Abdul for resolution and he has been telling will sort this out. He routed me to talk to mr. By reddy, spoke to mr. Reddy multiple times and even dropped message on whatsapp. He asked me to drop email, which i did more then month back and sent reminder last week. But there is no resolution from his end.

                      I kind request consumer court forum to intervene to get my 1, 50000 back from country vacations and ban this company forever as they do not have maintained club houses.

                        My membership no is cvgw1v5lb172786 and is going to be expired 5 yrs term on 6th april, 2019. But due to health and acute financial problems for my ward's higher education outside the state, i could not avail the facility of holiday vacations. As such please refund balance amount after deducting amc charges etc. As legally admissible without rendering service to the customer by the company till today. Furrher no response from your local branch on it saying only again deposit some money for renewal (???)

                            Cotunrty club vacations invited us to join their membership for 75k 24th february 2019. They made fake promises. I paid 25k and after i came out i read reviews and complaints in consumer court forum and quora. I was in a shock. I went forward to discontinue the agreement further as per clause 27 in the agreement. I mailed with 10 days of cooling period. I was asked by self acclaimed manager mr. Harshavardhana m to meet mrs rebecca self acclaimed karnataka belt customer care manager. She initially told part payment is not entitled to cancellation. On asking where it is written she mentioned that cancellation is not possible. Forget about clause 27. She was very rude and unprofessional. I have the agreement with me and i am ready to fight for it.

                              Payment done but unable to book vacations from last one year.
                              When i requested for a cancellation & reimbursement, i am not getting any feedback.
                              These people cheated in the same as they did to others, i mean they called me and brain washed that i got a gift voucher.
                              I dont want to give any personal infor here, but i can share if required in the future.

                                  Every year we face the same situation then have to share our agreement with reservations team.. More ice mr vivek. K from amc dept had called for getting payments of amc in advance up-to 2022 and he promised to book holiday rooms as per dates, it is every time that a customer has to bend in front of hyd reservation team and they always give false promises after receiving payments they don't give booking always and wvrytine this is the same story.. And then no one helps too when asked what to do, plus offers some bogus meals voucher we go on vacation to stay in hofel rooms or to roam out of hotels... How will we take meal vouchers when we return at nite back to hotel after site seeing, and it is obivious that we come n enjoy room serfice in same hotel for dinner.

                                  I'm tired and feel fooled by customer vacations employees.. Is there any one to help.

                                  My mother is a high diabetic and bp patient but i sometimes feel sorry she has to call so many times and above all people use high tone while talking do u have some customer care ethics or do ur employees needs a proper manager to train them.

                                  Please have humanity while talking to senior citizen i was thinking country vacations employee good decent staff after proper check and also humans who know how to help customers and more over talk n listen before even telling at a women who is sick and old. I. Am highly 😞 dissapointed.

                                  What u need more so every year v enjoyed proper vacation without any hassles in booking at ur reservations team in Hyderabad, please let us know the corrective steps to have a good vacations every time while booking at country vacations

                                    I got a free movie voucher from country vacations and i was told to send details to the number raju/viswa ([protected]). I texted him on whatsapp but i haven't got any response.

                                    The number above is always switched off and no response on whatsapp too.

                                    It is rely frustating as the concerned persons give no response at all when i went to office. They are saying unnecessary reasons.

                                    Please urgently resolve these. If not i may file a cheating case against country vacations.

                                    Please respond asap to the number ([protected]) which is mine.

                                      I have paid an amount of rs.70, 000/- towards club membership on feb 2017, membership id is: cvhyd7tclub232692, i have requested for the cancellation of membership within 2 days due to the fake commitments. They have agreed for the refund and paid part payment of rs.20, 000/- through dd in feb 2018 and told me that the remaining rs.50000/- will be given withing 3 to 4 months, however they have not paid me the remaining balance amount till the date and not responding to my calls. Please help me to get the remaining amount. I am attaching the proof of the letter which they have paid part payment and need to pay the refund amount.

                                        The below is the email i sent to country vacations and asked for cancellation of the membership.

                                        Hi,
                                        This is satish from bangalore. I became a member in your country vacations (Cv) on 9th december 2017. I want to cancel my membership [membership number cvbg1sclub5lb245699 (Sliver club + 5 yrs 6n7d blue u12)] with immediate effect due to your company fraudulent practices that i am taking time to explain here.

                                        I along with my wife were called to the country vacations office near forum mall, koramangala, bangalore on the pretext that i have won a gift in lucky coupon. I was introduced to mr. Imran (Ph: [protected]/ [protected]) who explained to me about the gifts and then started the fraudulent marketing of the country vacations along with mr. Taj peer, to manager (Ph: [protected]/ [protected]).

                                        They both explained many schemes of memberships (Most was false). Then they suggested me a "trial pack" for 3 years for 15, 000 and the following were offered in the scheme:

                                        1. This "trial pack" consists a "all season" holiday for 14 days per year for 8-10 members and no taxes (Full free).
                                        2. Club membership card
                                        3. Facility to avail gym facilities at talwalkers and golds gym.
                                        4. Free bus, free train and 40% discount in flight.
                                        5. Free pick-up and drop at the tour site locations.

                                        After this i had accepted to take this offer and paid rs.15000 upfront using my sbi debit card. The agreement was signed with the standard sale agreement form. When inquired about the benefits not mentioned in the agreement, mr. Taj peer said that since this is a "trial pack" exclusively offered, these details are not mentioned. He mentioned that all the details would be made available in the "welcome kit".

                                        I was made to come to the office again for membership confirmation through phone from country vacations, hyderabad (Head office).in this mr. Imran asked me to receive the call and accept the terms informed. When i inquired again regarding the trial pack details, he said that will reflect in my welcome kit. Meanwhile, the same day i received the email confirmation from country vacations without any trial packs.

                                        Now my ordeal with the fraud unfolded. Repeated calls to mr. Taj peer and mr. Imran (Close to 30 calls!!) for the past week went unanswered,... And when a few were answered, i was told that the welcome kit is dispatched, etc. And the kit will reach my home through courier. I today happened to inquire the koramangala office (Mr. Wasim) regarding the welcome kit not believing the fraud agents of cv. The office said that he would dispatch the kit today!!! (I was supposed to receive this much earlier). I asked him about the offer that was offered to me in the so called "fraud" trial pack. To my disdain, he said that there is "nothing like trial pack with the offers i was told exists!!!". I immediately went the koramangala office leaving my work and i was shocked and felt surreal to be cheated!!.

                                        These were the details told by the office:

                                        1. There is an amc of rs. 10, 500 as mentioned the agreement.
                                        2. When i avail a holiday in any room, i have to pay taxes like rs.[protected] for a room for 2 days/ night stay.
                                        3. The golds gym has discontinued its service from 1st december 2017 and may/ may not be renewed in january 2018 (I was cheat marketed on 4th december 2017)
                                        4. No free bus/ train. 40% discount in flight depending on season.

                                        Hearing all these, i contacted mr. Taj and mr. Imran from the office immediately (As usual they did not receive my calls). I asked mr. Wasim to call and mr. Taj picked the call. He accepted his false promises of golds gym facility and membership card and the points i have mentioned above. Mr. Taj then goes on to ask the office.. What to do now???... The office suggested to cancel the membership in the cool off period and the money would be refund with rs. 3800 processing charges!!!. I asked the office to provide me contact details of the managers at the head office and i was made to call the customer care who was of no help to me and kept repeating the same bla bla... I was then given a number for the bangalore incharge? Mrs. Rebecca.. Whose phone was busy. I also asked the contact details of the koramangala office manager (Mr. Imran basha) but was denied and asked to come on monday even after being a member!!

                                        I am so much frustrated with the kind of false promise made and cheated by country vacations. I have decided to immediately terminate my membership [membership number cvbg1sclub5lb245699]. Kindly terminate my membership and return my complete money of rs. 15000 immediately. As this is case of fraudulent marketing from members of the country vacations, i request you to refund my complete amount of rs.15000 without any processing charges to sbi account number [protected] (Nal branch), bangalore.

                                        With reference to your e-mail, we would like to inform you that as per the signed agreement and company policy nominal charges of rs.3800/- will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded within 120 working days from the date of invoking cool off period. We have forwarded your e-mail to concern accounts team and the moment we get an revert from them we will update you the status accordingly.

                                        There is no communication received after this. I have sent many reminders and still no reply.
