This is prabhat kumar from bangalore. I saw an entry for rs 1499 in my statement for the card number for cpp protection. I would like to mention that i have registered for the service but after few days i have called to the customer care and inform them to deactivate it, and now i am really shocked to see that amount will be debited from my card without my consent/approval. I have called up their customer service number and they said that they can only provide me 50% of the refund as per the policy. I am very shocked from this treatment. They have also accepted that it was their fault but still they are providing only 50% refund, this is not the good way to treat the customer

I didn't got any welcome kit from there side as per this day, i have not received anything or i would have canceled this at that very instant. Also as i mentioned that i have previously cancelled for the service but still they have charged me for the service and deducted the amount from my credit card.

I have complained for the same to the concerned department but they are refusing to provide the refund, my complaint number is[protected].

This is the way they intend to run their business by embezzling money from random people and then refusing to refund it, i am going to raise this in the appropriate platforms and forums and make sure their fraud gets noticed by the common public.

Please in the future beware of any phone calls from cpp, claiming to provide insurance, even if you decline, they will still register you for that service, keep checking your statements very carefully for any such entries.

    Sick service with False Promises
    What kind of sick and untruthful and false service is this. Still haven't received my welcome since at 2018. Whenever call the customer care they just give a Lollypop of false promises that the welcome kit is been despatched and will be delivered to me ASAP. But the statement is in Vain. CPP Sucks

      Hi, Earlier this Year I received A Call From CPP and they said that they will Provide Protection Services to my Card and they Will Provide Protection to My card in case i Loose it however I denied it and i never wanted it. Yesterday they sent me a message that they have deducted 1499 from my account without my consent, which is illegal. Please take a look into it

        I have already informed your representative on phone that I do not want to renew my contract but still Rs 1399 has been deducted from my account i reques you to return the amount do not do this again without our concern.           I am a very old client of your esteemed bank. Last year February I became the membership of CPP (Card Protection) and I have not enjoyed the same at all. I was on medical leave for the last three months from the office. During the mid-february this year, this membership has been expired. I was not interested in renewing the same and hence I did not correspond with this company at all. On return from my leave, I saw the brochure of the CPP on my table and on checking my ICICI bank account I noticed a debit of Rs.1848/- to CPP. I have not given any authorisation to anybody (either to you or to CPP for debiting or renewing the membership and nobody has contacted me for the same, how they renewed this membership and how you debited from my account. Also who gave the authorisation to ICICI bank to debit this sum at the instance of CPP. I want a explanation from the ICICI Bank as to who gave the authorisation to you to debit a sum from my account? This matter is very serious and I am taking this matter with your Registered Office at Baroda.

          Under the circumstance, Please let me have your explanation and arrange to reverse the debit with interest urgently otherwise I have to approach my legal expert in this connection.

                  Its embarassing to see a msg stating an amount of 1287 has been deducted for CPP plan without my consent. I cannot tolerate this, do you think its a service. You are looting money. I want to claim my money back. My card ends with 8781. I would like to complain this and take it on a long way. how can you deduct MY MONEY without my consent. I have not yet provided my card details for insurance.

                      CPP is misleading people. They continuously called me until I agreed to take up the plan as I thought it would be useful to me. Once they my debited my account with the fee amount of Rs. 1680, they did not even bother to check anything further. However, after a year I see my account being debited with the same fee as last year though I have not agreed for any renewal. When I called to check, they said a communication was sent to you a week ago and since we did not hear anything back we renewed your account by debiting Rs. 1680. But when I asked them to provide details with regard to the communication they sent - they failed to provide details.I requested for a cancellation of the plan and refund the amount deducted, they said - plan can be cancelled but I would get only 50% refund in next 7 days. When asked why only 50%, again they had no explanation or justification. Not sure if there is any regulatory authority who is overseeing their dealings. This is clearly a fraudulent act of looting. Without establishing a proper communication protocol they can't take decisions on behalf of their so called customers. My CPP number is IA0498360. I request for 100% refund. Someone responsible please look into this and help people not losing their hard earned money anymore.

                          I have registered with CPP India on August 2012 when I was in Mumbai. My CPP policy no is - IA0466769 . I came back to kolkata on February 2013 and also my mobile no got changed. This year on August 2013, CPP India has again deducted amount from my SBI Credit card without my permission. I called their helpline no and told them that I dont want to renew the membership and also asked them how they can deduct money without my permission. But there was no suitable answer from their side.

                            Three times I called and got the same reply that documents will reach in 7 to 10 working days. It's been now a months crossed and I haven't get this so called policy started. I don't even have my policy number now as the only message I received on my mobile has been deleted.                               On or about Dec. 2, 2012 I got a mobile alert from AXIS Bank Credit Card Service that an amount of Rs. 1680/- has been debited to my credit card account due to charge recorded by CPP Assistance for Credit Card Protection.

                              This is completely unauthorized and illegal transaction since no permission has been obtained from me. Even no prior information was there regarding such charge/debit.

                              3/4 mails have been sent to AXIS Bank, Credit Card department from rejection of the claim, but the bank did not do anything. This is highly objectionable, exceptional, illegal and cannot be accepted.

                              I condemn this type of fraudulent and deceptive attitude/activity/approach of both the CPP and Axis Bank Credit Card Department and expect immediate reversal of the amount debited to my credit card account.

                                Being a privileged banker, I was offered two Platinum Credit Cards bearing nos. 4629 xxxx xxxx 0006 and 4629 xxxx xxxx 0014, which I could never use. On 16/11/2012, I received a e-mail from ICICI Bank Credit Cards that I have pay Rs 1680.00 before 02/12/2012 against transaction CPP ASSISTANCE SERVI PV L which is a credit card insurance service. Indeed, I never applied for this kind of service and therefore, kindly make necessary amendments in the bill so that I can continue my banking with ICICI Bank.

I saw two debit transactions (INR 560) in my statement against CPP ASSISTANCE SERVI PV L which is a credit card insurance service. Indeed, I never applied for this kind of service and therefore, kindly make necessary amendments in the bill so that I can continue my banking with ICICI Bank.

                                I am holding a ICICI Platinum Credit Card No. [protected]. When I was checking my Credit Card account online I found that 0n 28.11.2012, an amount of Rs. 1, 680/- was debited to my Credit Card account vide Ref No. 74678722334071055287828 and credit the said amount to CPP Assistance Services Pvt Ltd.

                                However I am an old member of CPP for which I am paying regular premiums. But without any contact or mail, I think it is not right to debit he amount as I want delete some cards which were already registered with CPP & also I have to add some new cards under CPP.

                                Also I would like to draw your kind attention that from the very first year, (I thinks some 3 years before when I become the member of CPP) I have not got any Baggage Tags & other Tags which normally you sent to the Members, so that it can be tied with luggage or may be kept in purse for reference.

                                So, pl send the tags immediately with a form where I have to include some new cards and also the money receipt. I think my CPP Membership No. is IA0266530 which is also not confirmed as I have not got the tags.

                                    Hi this is Paddu i am also charged 1495/- on[protected] regards CPP.
                                    i remember every transaction specially credit card.
                                    without my concern they charged automatically when i saw my mail, i shoocked and try to recollect the same .
                                    where i travelled and spent 1495 /-but i unbale to collect it
                                    one fine day i searching some thing in google.
                                    i got a idea to search abt CPP i found it every body is getting same probs
                                    i had applied for sbi credit card and same i have received before two month. one day i obtained a sms that written for me saying your card protection plan has been activated without my authority, how it possible that CPP dealing company debit sum of rupees 1287 from my account on dated 26/06/13. This is absolutely wrong that without my concern deducted the said amount. I request for cancellation the CPP and refund my amount at the earliest.

                                        cpp india is a fraud/ embezzle - enrolled me & debited my card without my approval, now refuses to refund

                                        This is Abhishek Srivastava from Bangalore. I saw an entry for Rs 1295 in my statement for the Card number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for CPP protection. I would like to mention that I HAVE NEVER REGISTERED FOR THIS SERVICE and I am very shocked to see that amount could be debited from my card without my consent/approval. I have called up their Customer Service number and they said that they can only provide me 50% of the refund as per the policy....
