Settop relocation i have applied, after so many repeated call to videocon d2h for reconnected settop in new location. nothing as been done. each time i called to customer care they issued new complaint and dragged 1 more day. after the deadline ended i again asked the reason for not connecting videocon d2h in new location. they said local operator problem so will not be able to provide connection in new location. but will resolve issue they assued within 1 day. but still not resolved it.

When i ask for refund of complete amount for d2h and remaining day of service amount along with swifting charges they are saying swifting charge only 50% will be refund due to disconnection done that will cost 50% money for refund.

Kindly help me to install the existing videocon d2h in new location or refund the actual amount for settop box and remaining day of service amount along with location swifting charges 400rs.

I have spend 150 rs for calling videocon customer care service.

    I have a hd 6666rf setup box and it doesn't have the update for recording and when i called customer care for 20 times then they picked it they said that when the version will change from e.08 to e.100 then there will be recording they said it will take4 to 5 days its been 15 days and no update videocon services are just bad as poop i had already changed my stb 3 times and now its like hell provide us upgrade or i am gonna go to consumer court. why r u making us fool u have to provide ota update or i am going to consumer court and r u this much poor that u cant purchase another helpline.

      Hi, i have been loyal customer for last 4 years. I stay in wakad, pune. Last year when we did not receive signal, videocon engineer came and he informed that lot of customers are facing problems due to set top box and he replaced it in dec 2015.

      Now after within 7 months, again we had same signal issues. When called engineer, engineer came. He checked antenna on terrace and then set top box was hanging. So, he again advised to change set top box.

      How set top box can malfunction within 7 months? Don't you think, that when we are paying videocon for all comprehensive services, it is videocon responsibility to fix it, without any additional charge? I can understand 2 yrs of warranty

      Period of set top box. But box should at least work for 7 months..

      Can you please check into this matter asap? We are not able to watch tv for last 2 weeks.

        I had raised a complaint[protected] on june 28th to enquire about channels which were not coming.

        And raised request for cancellation assuming complete refund for the settop box and the amount already paid for three months subscription

        I received a call from some lady and she was so arrogant and was not willing to listen and without my confirmation she has disconnected the connection. is this the kind of service you provide to your customers?

        I'm extremely disappointed and would need an update on the action taken against this customer service person?

        I would like to know how the connection was disconnected with my agreement?

          I am a subscriber of videocon d2h cable network. customer id[protected]. for the last ten days the cable connection is not working due some technical fault. but even after repeated calls to company's call center no.- [protected] no technician attended the complaint. repeated calls failed to resolve the problem. call center staff stopped even picking up the calls leave apart listening about the complaint. while installing the cable connection the company has promised big big things about customer care and post sales service but actually not bothering to even respond to the complaint redresal machinery which is very painful and unsatisfactory

            We got issue with video con D2H some channel came and some channel not came.on 5th July 2016 i talked with customer care this is issue we are facing.
            Then they told engineer need to check. Today morning engineer came we told this is the issue then he told issue with transporter and it will be cost around Rs.225 then 200 for service charge.the i told most of time we are facing issue before 6monyh i replaced new device so why this problem happening so i request for extended warranty other wise deactivate my service. then engineer and his manager by phone he told take extended warranty and don't pay for this service and after taking extended warranty engineer will come and replace new transporter. Then he told for today he has not done anything he will not charge any money. but now we received your account deducted Rs.200 and deactivated.then i contact your customer service they have not not behave properly and also i asked what engineer has done in my home you have tracking then they told no only you deny to pay money. i am really very disappointing for this kind of behavior and service.i ask also to whom we will contact for solution they told we don't know .

But yet my complaint (Signal not available) has not been resolved. First complaint i made on dtd 24/june 2016. From last 12 days i am unable watch television, eventually only because your engineer failed to visit.

                  I am not able to watch TV from month of june 2016 and my money is wasted. No positive response from service team to visit customer place and resolve issue.

                  Sevice replaced the reciever part with paid service on 25th June but still the product is not working. Previously atleast i was able to watch tv with screen getting cut but no the signals are completely lost.

                  There is no update on the extended warranty payment also done to the engineer on 25th june.
                  Overall money paid : Rs 200 + Rs 350 + Rs 599 = Rs 1150
                  200 -- service charges
                  350 - receiver part replacement
                  599 -- extended warranty for one year

                  I need immediate resolution to the problem and strict actions aganist the responsible service team members.

                      I am one of the poor customer who bought videocon d2h dvr box and repenting daily on this decision

                      Recent issue faced:

                      For past 2 days few hd channels pictures are scrambled and not clear and so i registered a complaint. One technician named mr. Sundar ([protected]) from thoraipakkam (Chennai) videocon service center visited my place and tried to fix the issue.

                      Instead of fixing the issue which i reported, he created many below issues :

                      1. All recording schedules are erased
                      2. Not able to open record library to play the new recorded program or already recorded programs which are still there as i can see my hard drives usage capacity is 18%.

                      When questioned about this mr. Sundar says that he is not aware about the dvr box troubleshooting and rudely speaking that the reported complaint (Hd channel scrambling) issue is fixed so live with that...

                      I don't understand why i need to raise another complaint for the issue which the technician made. The technician didn't take my concern if he can reset the box, or cut thro' the cables.. Etc.. Mr. Sundar also complaint that the rg6 cables which i have concealed is creating problems. Until the technician visit box was fine and signal strench was more than 90% except for few hd channel images are scrambled. So whose fault is this?

                      Mr. Sundar told me he did the reset without formatting and not sure why am not able to open the record library tab. So who will answer this question? Will the videocon d2h vp or ceo will come and answer this by fixing it???

                      Mr. Sundar's approach was very rude and he said that he is a local guy & can do anything so i have to keep quiet and go inside my house...

                      I seriously don't know is videocon recruiting technical specialist or local goons for the service engineer role.


                      This is one of experience i got from this so called videocon engineer mr. Sundar ([protected]) from thoraipakkam (Chennai) videocon service center.


                      The other issue with the box are below for which no one is having an answer:

                      1. Box hung during hd recording and had to reboot the box to make it operational again
                      2. When we change the channel it doesn't want to change and it stays in the same channel
                      3. Series recording schedules go on vanishing and have to reschedule again and again.


                      When i call up customer care for these one technician will visit and format the box saying post the update/upgrade, box was not formatted which is mandate to do it. I don't know what is the logic behind this and no use of having big 1000gb hdd then if we need to format every quarter.

                      I am searching for a forum to publish this and make sure no other customer suffers like me by selecting this videocon dvr box. If you know any such forum or site please suggest.

                      I am bound to stick with this useless box as i made an annual payment for the package. I will be happy if i can get the refund possible..

                      Please suggest the next steps...

                        I am the customer of videocon d2h. Day before yesterday i got call from number [protected] & that girl told me that if you recharge the same on today you will get flipkart & ebay voucher worth rs:2000/-. I asked her about the details of same but she denied and told me that you will get the offer details on customer care number. Futher i called customer care team who are unaware of same saying only that you can redeem the same on site... Finally i recharged the account but so far i didnt got the vouchers.

                        This is mislead towards the customer. Let me know what the problem is. Cant we trust to videocon d2h anymore??

                            My name is santa. I am using videocon dth since last three years. Since last three days not getting malayalam tv channels in the dish, displays a message that signal not found.

                            I have complained the same but videocone asking for service charges for visiting home.

                            I have already paid for one year subscription. So why they are asking for additional fee for problems which is not in my side.

                            The problem is not only for me. Most of the customers i my area suffering this and videocon asking for fee for rectifying the same.

                            Signal problem is due to videocone poor service so why we customer to pay additional for that. If they are altering their signals strength why i should pay fee for rectifying that.

                            I will surly give publicity for this issue through social media's so that people may be alert when buying this dish. My mob [protected]. Any one can call me regarding my issue. I will explain u about their poor service. Share my message to more groups and facebook also. Thus we can protest against the unfair customer deal.

                              We are facing serious problem with videocond2h service. Channel display on screen & voice & picture does not match. When complained they argued & proposed for service engineer's visit (Chargeable). Since product & services are from videocon why should visiting charges are applicable.

                                  I recharged my account with Rs.225 on May 28, 2016 based on plan mentioned in Videocon D2h website.

                                  I am using videocon d2h connection for the past 2 months from April 2016. While installation they said channels will be free for one month. I was not informed about extra charge for hd channels. I got a message as account expiring on June 12, 2016 which comes only 15 days from date of recharge. I made a call to customer service[protected] on June 6, 2016 and told them about the issue. They at once removed the hd channels from display list and I got only tamil channels in my tv screen. For 30 days Expiry due date change to June 26, 2016 they said they need to check and inform. Now today June 20, 2016 morning they disconnected the channels from display. I made calls to above toll free no and said prior information was not given regarding balance deduction for hd channels and 3 mails have been sent to [protected]@d2h.com but no reply received regarding 30 days due date but they simply disconnect the calls which is atrocious. I have already told them if the expiry date is not changed to 30 days I will never opt to Videocon D2h in future. I am totally disappointed for cheating a genuine customer like me. Please check and do the needful.

                                    HI, Am venkatesh kumar, i taken the connection from videocon d2h and without my request they have been activation USB recording facility and detected Rs 1 per day to till day before yesterday.When i cross verified the same with customer care said that it was activated by Back end team and money will not be refunded. nearly they detected Rs 750. I was cheated by videocon without my request How come they will enable USB recording service. Please help me to raise this concern and resolve this issue/

                                      Hello, I have a D2h tv connection at my home in that we have a basic package of 99/-Rs and if anyone need other channels they can add it through "add on channels".Here the problem is while i'm trying to remove add on from my account it is not taking so i requested them to delete it but they were saying we can not do that because the package was changed. I just need the basic package if i want any other i will add or i will choose something else. There is a basic package in the Videocon d2h but they were not removing "add on package" from my account, 'i just need the basic package for now'.

                                        Please note that since last one month I am not able to see more of channels in my D2H set of box like no movie, no news, no social channel too.

                                        I was tried to connect your customer care but always busy tone received or not connected.

                                        Yesterday one of your customer care executive told me that if you want to resume your service again then Rs200/- need to pay extra as service charge.

                                        Now please clear one thing that if I have paid already Rs1400/- for 30~35 channel (Including movie, news, social etc. as per my package) then why again need to pay for the same.

                                        Please think if you are the customer of D2H service and you may force to pay Rs200/- for same service again & again then what you feel or what you can do.

                                        AS PER MY THINKING THAT D2H HAVING PROCEDURE TO CHEAT THE CUSTOMER THAT FIRST TAKE Rs1400~200/- FOR SERVICE RECHARGE THEN DISCONNECT AND ASK FOR Rs200/- FOR RESUME.

                                        IS IT NOT A FRAUD TO CUSTOMER?

                                        I am facing absolutely same problem. When I opted for 1600 rs 6 month plan, services for many basic channels stopped after a month, and now Videocon executive s asking to raise complaint for engineer visit and compulsory 200 charges.

                                        This is CHEATING AND FRAUD. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST PEOPLE TO GO FOR VIDEOCON D2H again.

                                        5 star by mistake. It is zero star..
                                        I have been customer for four years, same happened to me yesterday. I was getting an error, after complaint they asked "engineer will visit you and charges will be applicable in case of any defective part". engineer visited and pull and reinsert the card and asked for service charge 200/-. I really got surprised to listen this, 200 for what and warranty is only 1 month. Though I logged complaint, but I think they will not respond. D2H is now cheating the customers.

                                        I am getting an error "please insert smart card propely" and no channels are displayed. It's just showing a blank scree. This is a service issue and why should I pay 200 Rs for the visit ?? The company should bare the visit if their services aren't working OK. I am notlw going to charge the vendor.

                                        Even the same thing happened to me..
                                        All of suddenly it message came has no signal..

                                        But I was surprise to see the add channels where coming.. so I thought it's not the issue with signal..

                                        Then I contacted customer care and they are saying your product warranty is expired.. you need to pay 200rs for 1 month warranty service..

                                        I told to disconnect the service I will go with other d2h providers.

                                        From my personal experience pls don't go with Videocon ..

                                        Donot deserve rating also. I faced the same issue... Earlier when I used to recharge for a month it was all fine... Now after subscription of 3months I see some channels are not available (I need 2 channels in particular )... It is really a pain to contact customer care of Videocon D2H - feel lucky if someone picks your call.
                                        They say engineer need to visit and you need to pay 200, if you don't pay they will deduct from your balance. I am not going with Videocon D2H ever again.

                                        Videocon is cheating.
                                        There s cloud in the sky may be bcoz of that the service is not available in d2h.on the 3rd day i called and conveyed the issue to customer care.the response was that if i want to register complaint, it will be charged rs 200/ when service person comes.but the comedy is that, the device has changed not more than 2months.they are claiming that, the device might have damaged.is this durability of a product?

                                        Anyway, for the fault of vendor, y should the customer bare the charges.

                                        Even we are facing the same problem. When we contacted d2h customer service they told us, engineer will be visiting your house and we need to pay 200 to the service engineer. I'm not sure how come they charge 200 for everyone makes a complaint. It is their duty to make customer happy and this happens every where in the world. We are paying 400 per month and if we don't get signal pay extra 200 and on total 600 per month. I'm not getting logic behind their service. Finally we have to pay 600 for poor service for most of the time. And more over they don't give Bill for money they collect from us (service charge) . Even if we want go to consumer court we don't have any proper Bill from our side.

                                        Even i faced the same issue yesterday. Service charge 200rs. Engineer resolved the issue in less than 5 mins and got the 200 rs service charge. Cheating the Customers this way is unethical.

                                        our remote was not working but I was not sure, I thought there might be another problem may be in set top box.so I called customer care, they logged my complaint I told me service person will visit, I confirm charges from them for remote 275, though he didn't told me any info about 200 rs service charge, I'm having that call recording with me, engineer solve this issue within 1 min by changing channels from his remote, and suggested me to buy new remote, fir which he said 320 rs I hv to pay, and the remote which I will get was not same as original one, so I didn't take it from him. He didn't asked for any charges, he simply went away.i thought that was great service.Today when i recharged my account then I came to know that my account is not going to start until I pay 200 extra, customer care said 200rs has beed debited from your account.ohhh man this not my bank account...you people are doing a professional froud.I will not going to suggest Videocon to anyone.its not abt 200rs, but the way ur taking it from customers without our knowledge.i am guessing now by doing this how much they are earning in single day.its a business based on cheating.

                                        I am facing sinilar issue.
                                        I done a recharge from Infinity App but still not able to see the channels.
                                        And still getting the E18 error fpr insufficient balance.
                                        When I asked customer care, they said its a technical issue and asking for 200rs service for visit.
                                        I am surprised how the technical issue arrived as everything was already till yesterday and i have done nothing with set top box so how it happened.
                                        And why should I pay 200rs for no reson.
                                        This is really pathetic and I am fed up with this.
