This is to bring to your notice the poor quality of water supply in our area GTB Nagar, Delhi 110009.
We have spent lot of money already on clearing tanks and other supplies of water from local plumbers. But the problem is persistent coz there is fault in the water supply itself. I have to take bath with smelly yellow colored water everyday. We are not that rich that we use RO water for everything.
The moment we turn the taps on, the smell spreads in the entire house like anything. We pay water bills on time. We are entitled to have the right to clean supply of water atleast!!!
Please resolve this issue.
I wonder even if this is the right platform to register this complaint.
I m sick of dirty water everyday.
Clean water is the basic neccessity of life.
What is government doing????
How is it even possible to supply ### water in houses ??
Please resolve the issue at the earliest and if possible share the contact details to take this matter further.

    Water connection was sanctioned vide kno [protected] at m-129 greater kailash-2 new delhi on 11.5.2015. The new 1/2 "water meter of anand sahi make was installed with 1hp 10-d motor of crompton greaves by djb technicians. Since then the water has been fully functional but the water bills have been coming on adhoc basis. I have given photos of the water meter consumption three times earlier to djb. The officials have also inspected the same at site & gave report to your office that it is fully functional & assured to get the bills corrected but nothing has bee done despite sending various reminders vide complaint id 83506 to executive engineer-eecnwri (M311) at phone no.[protected] & engg chief on phone no[protected]. Further reminders vide complaint no.[protected] dt 20.3.17, grievance regn dodws/e/2017/00518 dt 11.5.17,[protected] dt 26.3.17, dodws/e/2017/01075 dt 8.9.17 & further personal visits / on-line complaints. The water meter consumption at present is 640 units since beginning. We are staying very seldom in the flat but still heavy water bill accumulating to more than rs 32, 000 has come to me. Cm is holding charge of djb but still no action has been taken on my complaints so far. Please intervene & give personal hearing to me as retired sr citizen.

      The main line sewer is blocked from a year now and it has started overflow and causing sepage in the society building. The toilet sewer in flats are not able to flush water and it bounce back. Petetic conditions. This is my 3rd complaint. And several complaints logged by society flat owners. Also i logged complaint in grevience cell but no hearing in deaf ears of jal board

        Sir i'm a resident of ashok nagar area and i'm very sad to say that the quality water supply here is awfully bad here. It's stinky and dirty water which is not even fit for washing clothes o[censored]tensils. Drinking it is just next to impossible as it smells as of drain. Please look into the matter asap and rectify it. It's been a week since we are facing this troublesome problem. Water supply is there but what is the use of it if the quality of water is next to worst.

          Dear sir/madam

          My name is priyesh and i am resident of rk puram sector 6 ekta vihar, we have a sewer which has been choked from last 1 month and we have been complaining about the same to mcd, delhi jal board and no one is taking responsibility to rectify the matter.

          We are running a polyclinic to help the poor and needy ones and due to choked sewer all the water is getting blocked in our polyclinic.

          I request that some responsible person takes some action to solve this issue.

            We received current bill dtd. 30th jan. 2018 for my above key number i. E. [protected] amount to rs. 421/-

            As per bill previous meter reading as on 29th nov. 2017 taken as 280 and status of the meter is ok but current meter reading taken on 27th jan. 2018 as nil status mloc.

            But on 27th jan. 2018 meter reader noted the meter reading physically/correctly but why the current meter reading on above bill showing niland taken consumption as 19 units and issued bill amounting to rs. 421/-

            If issued bill without current reading and on average basis my previous two bill of nil amount as per bill history of current bill while consumed 23 and 26 units respectively.

            Kindly amend the current bill as per reading taken at by meter reader and issue the fresh bill so that payment of the same can be cleared.

              Please recall my earlier request regarding billing for domestic use of water for c8726 vasant kunj.
              It is to bring to your notice that no body has been living in the house over a decade. We have been getting water bill based on meter lock.
              Please change your basis to minimum consumption as there is normally no consumption of water.
              We have been paying high bill without using water.
              Please make correction to minimum use and bill us.

                New connection application was processed successfully on jan 19 2018 with connection no. [protected]. And i have received the massage from delhi jal board mentioning pay bill amount of 7830, pay by 26 feb 2018 to avoid any penalties. I am not sure what this amount is all about. Could someone explain.

                  Dear sir, i have complained about additional charge on development charge and unauthorized usage charges. The bill revised. Kno: [[protected]], bill amount of rs [13710.00] but they did not remove unauthorized usage charges. We did not take any illegal connection i have mentioned clearly in my complaint letter 247 dated 22.01.2018. But the survey person did not come for rechecking again they charged unauthorized usage penalty. Sir they are blaming in your area all people have taken illegal connection and you would have also taken. Pls help or advise. Document submit no is 11172.

                  I am resident of hauz Rani, malviya nagar, New Delhi. The on going work of sewer connection has disrupted the water supply in my area. It's been 4 days the water supply is disturbed. I request Delhi jal board to consider the problem and find a quick solution for it.

                    We are living in village bharola new subzi mandi azddpur delhi which is falling in adarh nagar vidhan sabha it is very pathetic to share our problem that since last month when water supply to almost delhi were affected due to ammonia contaminated water there was water supply since 6 to 8 at morning and evening which was enough for our daily need since then we are not getting water due to supply at low pressure or no water supply lest drinking water (Which can be purchased) even for toilet cleaning our village is situated high at sea level than our neighbor colonies so at low pressure we are our water supply gets affected and we are in state of mess so please look into the matter and help accordingly

                      I am a resident of indra vikas colony, mujherjee nagar, new delhi - 110009.
                      I do not understand whether the water supplied here is genuinely water or just mud. The water cannot be even used for washing clothes or one's hands and this can further lead to health related issues. Timings for water are provided but only once in a blue moon it is supplied on time. We even spend days with no water and thus have to buy mineral water from outside for drinking purpose.
                      I hope we the residents of indra vikas colony will be out of this problem soon.

                        There is dirty water mixed with sewage in taps in east parmanand colony for the last 6 days. One cannot even wash hands with this water which is so dirty and smells very bad. We have already suffered from gastroenteritis. We are buying mineral water for drinking but even washing hands this water is bad and smells awful. Is kindly take urgent and immediate action

                          I am a resident of satya niketan. We are facing a major problem of smelling domestic water supply like sewage; color is dark grey/ black.
                          Once taken a shower a person smells like #. Due to bad quality water even after using ro water quality is like hell, our filter gets choked every week. Also, due to mud in water the motor blade get wasted and is sent for repair every month. The same issues are there for the last couple of months since the job o[censored]nderpass in ongoing at satya niketan.

                          Supply is there but its sewage water which cannot be used. Complained many times but it seems that the complaint goes to deaf ears. The water which is supplied is filthy, smelly due to sewage water is mixing somewhere resulting in heath issues. Please sort it out as soon as possible.

                            I have received a bill saying it's a 2 months bill. It is from 9 nov to 11 jan. And i received a bill of rs 4500. Pls check the bill and adjust it in the next time as i m sure this could not be my bill. Water supply is there for only morning and evening. Pls see in to the matter and help. How can such bill comes for 2 months. I think there is a problem with the reader. He did not take the reading properly. Somebody should come and check the meter once. How could u just give such bill.

                            I have been paying nearly about INR 2500 in every 2 months. I don't know how they calculate this but I want refund of what I've paid till date and should only charge what is genuine.
                            We went to their office which is situated in Rohini sector-6 but none of them are ready to listen.

                              From last two cycles my water bill received is abnormally high. We are only three person living in this house. Water is supplied only during morning & evening hours for a limited period. For last cycle[protected] to[protected], i have received water bill of rs. 1, 180/- for 55 units on lumsum basis. Now in this cycle from[protected] to[protected], i have again received water bill of rs. 1, 088/- for 48 units, which is totally incorrect according to our family size & consumption. Our previous cycle consumption was 16 to 17 units for 2 months. I have paid the bill of rs. 1, 180/- on the presumption that it will be corrected in the next cycle. But current bill received is rs. 1, 088/- which is not justified as per consumption. Please send me corrected bill, so that i can pay in time. For the time being i am not able to pay rs. 1, 088/- till the bill is corrected.

                                We are receding wrong and excess water bill for more than last one and half years. This may be because of the fault of meter reader. The matter came into our notice in aug 2017 when we checked our meter refund and found the actual reading 1444 only where as reading in the bill dated 7.7.2017 was shown 1555. Hence we came to know that we are paying wrong bills for a long time when bill amount was suddenly hiked in sept 2016 where as our earlier bills and consumption was very less. Current reading is also 1570 as on 4.2.2018 and meter is ok where as in last bill meter status is shown as rddt
                                Kindly look into the matter and arrange to issue correct bill and refund of excess amount already paid by us.

                                  I am residing at rz-53 (Old no.43), bajaj enclave, gali no 3, kakrola, delhi-110078. My apartment has 10 flats. Out of which, only 5 flats are occupied and every occupied flat has water connection but one connection out of them is illegal as water meter is not fitted in that. Moreover, the person residing in that flat (At ground floor) is using water from last 9 months, without paying a single penny to 'delhi jal board'. Please into this matter.

                                  I am residing at Bajaj enclave, Kakrola, Delhi 110078. From the last 1-1.5 years, the 'old palam road' in my locality is very bad conditions. In rainy seasons, it becomes like a hell for the commuters. I have complained about 2-3 times in 'GULAB SINGH AAP OFFICE, KAKROLA' but no resolution till yet. So, please look into this matter as this road has very high traffic.

                                    We are facing regular dirty water supply due to our area supply pipe line damaged I complained so many times, they only said we have new pipes but implementation we have no budgets .so we are paying regular water bills k no. [protected]. so please do something as soon as possible. In Our area there is 30flats and they all facing this problem, in few months we are giving online complained, written complained, so many times . We think that we do wrong to elect this Delhi govt because nobody can do anything but we think that govt don't no our problems so that's why we are mailing this to Delhi they resolve our problems definitely.

                                      I have lodged a complaint in your office c-2/b, janakpuri under no. 4809 on 13.12.2017 wherein i have submitted that my water meter is working in proper condition and your department has shown it as stop (Stp). I was out of country for six months and two bills had been raised on stp basis which i have paid.in the said complaint i have requested to refund or adjust the amount which i have already paid in the forth coming bills. It is surprising that instead of addressing the complaint a fresh bill of rs.2803.00 has been raised in my name on stp basis. I assure you that my water meter is working in proper condition and there is no need of it's replacement. You are once again requested to correct the fresh bill and refund or adjust the amount which i have paid for the bills raised on stp basis.

                                        Sir, this is to bring to your kind notice that there has been a huge leakage from the open ground next to outer ring road at a block dda market munirka opposite j&k bank atm. We have made the complaint for the same many times but no action has been taken. Huge amount of water is leaking every day for the past few months which is a huge loss and a source of nuisance also. Please look into the matter at the earliest.
