    Delhi Jal Board — Overbilling On the Basis of PLOC


    Dear Sir, This is to draw your kind attention towards my Regular Water Bill which is always generated on the basis of PLOC whereas under no circumstances the premises has always been found locked for last 2 years. Probably it might happen co-incidentally for one (or) two times but logically can't be possible to happen always. The billing amount generated on this basis is so high that it is nearly three/four times than that of the actual usage. I have been lodging complaints for many times but facing no response failing which I am here to write you. Therefore, I am requesting you to please adjust the overbilling amount at the earliest and send your meter reader to take the current readings always which is displayed in the water meter of my premises. You are requested to do the needful. Hoping for a positive reply.       I have paid Bill upto unit 2365, the figure which was taken by you while sitting in the office. The actual reading as on date is 2362. Moreover, my consumption is within the permissible limit of free water of 20 KLM per month. Hence the bill issued issued for Rs.449 is unwarranted. Please arrange physical reading and cancel the bill as there is no consumption of water beyond the specified free limit.

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I am a resident of Sudarshan Park near ESI Hospital, New Delhi-110015. This complaint is regarding supply of contaminated water in our street at F block at F/217, Sudarshan Park. This street is getting contaminated water every week atleast 4 times a week and due to this our tanks are polluted and there is a garbage and waste type smell in water. It is not even good for bath.

        Due to this RO water supply mafia of people supplying jugs and ground diggers for ground water is at a rise and then when we opt for such option, police charges money for digging.

        There is no way left to get clean water for a middle class household. Its been seven years since this problem is there. Continuously we try to get in touch with Jal board office at Moti Nagar and Sewage office at Sudarshan park. They keep on blaming each other and sad part is that none of them is able to rectify the problem. Recently i wrote complaints and Mr Rakesh Kumar Jal Board JD and his subordinates worked and were not able to rectify the issue. Either there is a capability problem or may be technical glitch. Non of these officials was successful in solving the problem.

        I request who so ever is the concerned to look into this and share a solution for us.

            Since the past month, the quality of water coming in our area (A Block, Vikas Puri) is bad. The water is extremely dirty and smelly making it not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it.

            Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue.

                Sir/mam,
                As our country is facing water crisis at a very big level so we all should use every drop of it judiciously. With reference to this i want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards improper as well as illegal connection of water supply in my area.

                I am Rohit Kumar Shukla, resident of Gali No.6 Brahampuri New Seelampur North East Delhi, Delhi-110053. In my area there are a number of illegal water connections in streets as well as roads and those people dont have to pay a single penny for that precious commodity water thats why they dont understand its importance and carelessly and illegally use it. We complaint to the officer on checking also but it is very sad to say that they take bribe and that too for just 50-100 rupees from each culprit and left them then such things left me with a question that what is going on in my city then why should not we also follow their steps . so i request you to take some immediate and strict action against the people and concerned authorities.

                              Sir, This is from the K.No-[protected] and my complain is regarding the bill amount from 03 Nov 2015 to 13 Jan 2016 is INR 2528/- which is too huge and there is some arrears of INR 1203/- has been also charged.

                              My consumption is usually only between 15 to 20 units for two months as only me & my wife stays here. As we know that in Delhi 500 ltr per month of water is free now. So why such huge bill is being charged in every bill.

                              Requested to please send your person for inspection every month so that we could not forced to pay such huge amount.

                                But not installed yet i have already complaint to customer care[protected]
                                And local water customer care center mohan garden. Mr. Ishan Sood Contact no.[protected] and local area contractor Mr. Arjun contact No.[protected]
                                money more time argue this person, but the are not responding against connection, they are saying (I have No Time ) ( I have No Meter and goods)

                                    Sub: Excessive Amount of Bills, No Meter reading taken for months and not receiving water bills for months.

                                    Respected Sir/Madam,

                                    I am writing this letter to your esteemed office to bring your kind attention to subject issues which causing problems for getting an actual water bills. My New KNO: [protected], C-44/B, Kalkaji, New Delhi. I was not receiving water bill for months and I recently received excessive amount bills for many months, recent bill dated – 18-Jan-2016 with the amount of INR 34397. I have visited our area ZRO sometimes which is Giri Nagar, complaining that one should help us to check these readings and the bill is very high. They suggest us to pay these bills. But last many months we did not even receive bills. The records keep showing meter & bills accuracy, which is necessary to understand exactly not in a lump sum. I would like to request through this platform to concerned, please have personal visit to check regular previous readings & bills in the system and generate correct bills for remaining months.

                                    May I request Delhi Jal Board to visit houses and take reading and give bills on regular manner so that hardship is not placed to pay a lump sum at one go. Therefore, it is requested to look into the matter & get it rectified as soon as possible.

                                    A quick action will be highly appreciated.

                                      Consumer Number 4803340, 295 Ramanagar, Krishana Nagar, Delhi-51. We have been receiving excessive amount bills for many years. Everytime we visit to the Shivpuri Jalboard office complaining that no one has come to take readings and the bill is very high. They suggest pay this we will send somebody and will get adjusted in next bill. But since 3-4 years no one has showed up for taking meter readings. The record keep showing meter faulty, which is not the case as we can see the meter is running whenever in use. I would like to request through this platform to concerned please have the reading taker personnel visit and record the data in system and generate correct bills.
