Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing with regret to inform you of the unprofessional attitude and irresponsible handling of my request by one of your staff at the panjim office (Shop-4, Shankar Parvati Building Opp Education Dept, Governador Pestana, Road, Panjim, Goa, Panaji, Goa 403001)

The lady’s name is Ms Erum.
On the 15/7/22 I called Dhl/blue dart and spoke to Ms Erum who informed me to come to the office at the above address at 10 am the following day ( saturday16/7/22)

I informed her that the document I was sending was original, important and must reach Delhi on the 18/7. She assured my that it would be sent on the 16/7 and would reach on 18/7 in Delhi if there were no unexpected delays by the courier service

On the 16/7/22 I was at the office at 10 am . There was a gentlemen before me who was already waiting for Ms Erum to come on duty. Another client after me, who left because he could wait no longer!

We waited until 11 am and often requested the other lady at the office (assistant )to call Ms Erum on her mobile to check her whereabouts. She, was not only late for duty but delayed and upset my / our schedules as well.
Upon arrival, Ms Erum did not even have the courtesy to apologize for the delay!
We were informed by the office assistant that this is a regular issue with Ms Erum!

On the 18/7, To my surprise, upon Tracking My courier I am informed that it is delayed and will reach only on the 21/7, instead of18/7.

I called Mr Pranay (who was on duty and is also an employee at the dhl /bluedart office ) - he informed me that the delay was no fault of the courier service but Ms Erum who left the office early on Saturday because of which my courier did not leave on Saturday 16/7 ( as foreseen)
Had she been there, he said, the COurier would have left on time and reached on the 18/7.

I find this behavior if Ms Erum absolutely irresponsible!
Dhl /blue dart will loose valuable customers if the staff are so irresponsible and have a ‘Dont care’ attitude.

I will be sharing this unfortunate experience (at Dhl / blue date Panaji ) with all my friends and contacts and will discourage them to use the DHl /blue dart courier service, and will do the same myself, until I have received an update on this issue from the department handling grievance.

I hope Dhl / blue dart care enough for the clients and betterment of the company to do something about issues that will hinder the business.

    I order silver Ring from Turkey, and DHL has to delivered it, 6 days ago I received email from DHL regarding KYC which I did, later received email for custom charges, which I inform them these charges seller has to pay as per my agreement with the seller or product has to send back to the seller. but DHL guys they are not listening me nor reponsing my email but sending me daily fresh email that I have to custom charges, if delay 5000 Rs will be penalty daily will be impose on you. since last 3 days they started harassing me by several phone calls and 2-3 emails daily. everytime I replied and told them same as mentined above, seller will pay or send product to them. I personally talk to seller and He agreed to send me fresh product to Bahrain now because I am travelling to Bahrain, and seller told me product in india will be destroyed. but DHL guys not understating me and still they are calling me and sending me emais for penalty. I am mentally very mush disturb now. kindly advise.

      We have placed an order for import of stud finder to locate electrical wiring inside walls to protect us from electrical shock while drilling for fixtures from HUIKOO LTD London on 10.6.22 costing £22.99 excluding shipping charges £19.29 from DHL EXPRESS.

      The product was supposed to deiver on 20.6.22. by airmail, airway bill no.[protected].

      The parcel had arrived on 14.6.22 while the delivery date to Chennai was 20.6.22.

      DHL india asked us documents like copies of order and Bank statement details which were submitted without delay by emails.

      All the necessary required documents were submitted in pdf formats and all documents screen shots were also sent via emails.

      To our disappointment the clearance support staff continued to say the documents were not received while we have the proof of emails sending pdf dcts and screen shots in our smart phone.
      She is not even responding to our query whether the documents were submitted to customs authorities for clearance. She is indifferent in not responding to our mails.

      Under the circumstances we are at a loss to understand whether we should proceed to initiate further action as considered appropriate to resolve the issue.

      Kindly help us in taking up the matter as early as possible to resolve the dispute.

      Screen shot detailing item cost, shipping cost etc totalling £60.07 converted into rupee equivalent of rs. 5995...34 the screen shot of which was also sent by email The rupee value of the import as reflected in Bank statement screen shot had also been furnished.
      So kindly based on the clarification submitted arrange for delivery of product.

      All the required information have been provided to DHL promptly without the slightest delay. There is nothing to contact DHL about for any further information/data input.required by them.
      Still the notification says "customs delay contact DHL" is illogic.
      Why this deliberate attempt to obtain release of goods without any valid reason is troubling.

      It looks like filing a case in consumer court against all responsible for inordinate delay is the only solution claiming financial damage would stand to solve our difficulties for sure.

      The cat is out of the bag. DHL India is wantanly trying to give a bogus information that the responses sought from us had not been received by them even though we have confirmation of the responses sent to them on email for whatever clarification sought by them saying they have not received the sent emails.
      This is a deliberate trick wantanly followed by them to make money by way of warehouse and demurrage charges for no fault on us.

      The govt should have a check on this malpractice by adopting tough measures n putting a schedule for release of parcels at airports.

      Customers are advised to be careful about
      This kind of tactics by DHL India.

        I have a shipment from us to india on 3rd may but till now I didn’t get it . I am calling customer care to clear it but they were not responding .
        Also, one of their employee betrayed 9000 thousand from my account by providing all my details and said that he will clear it as soon as possible. I complained this to dhl with all by debited money details but they didn’t take any action.
        5 days ago, i called them to clear it but they didn’t. Also they were asking to pay 51370 as custom duty .
        I request all o[censored] … pls don’t make any shipment with dhl otherwise you have to regret like me.

          Our package was stuck at Bangalore customs on April 8th, 2022. It is almost 2 months now and I have made all the required payments and sent the required documentation, but there is no movement at all in the package. We are doubtful if we are going to get the package back intact or not. We tried to reach the customs officials but there is no update. We shipped our package through a vendor (Omni Express Couriers), but we are don't see any movement whatsoever. Please help.

            Other Levy charges: I am not informed about other levy charges other than the Duty fee itself that the State Government could legally charge. In this case, the Duty fee is already charged additional to other levy charges. Why? - I think this is illegal and I should report to the nearest police station to bring this to their attention. Can you please confirm this?

            PaymentDefermentRisk: These are charges to make use of DHL's credit facility (pay ahead) for customs payment and fees etc. Why did your team not take my permission before charging me unannounced? - I have already paid the shipment amount upfront which should as well include handling charges, isn't that right?

            CS charges: why should I pay Customs Services charges when it is a government undertaking service that the government is already being compensating through the Duty Fee that I pay?

              Awb-[protected] china to new delhi-dhl scammed us first on storage on customs issue.Then shipment had 33 Binoculars, out of which 17 were damaged, broken, double vision.No compensation yet.The escalation matrix is a joke..They are yet to give me any compensation . On a consignment of 751 usd shipment i paid 800 usd freight and duty. 60 percent shipment is damaged i.e 17 binoculars out of 33 received are damaged, when received. I lodged a complaint formally same day and gave numerous proofs next day and after. The investigation is still on, while i continue to mourn my losses and contemplating legal recourse. Beware of DHL, duping you, first on exorbitant warehouse bills and then damaging shipment.

                  We imported some product using DHL from HK to india. it was VERY GOOD till few months ago. very smooth and reliable. but the horror story start this time.

                  since past GOOD EXPERience was in my mind I chose DHL and paid premium prices to them but then the crap begins, in clearance they said value evidence is needed.

                  we provided all of the value evidences, invoice, payment proof, order copy, online price, we also confirmed in written letter to customs that the price is correct.

                  but after few days to my surprise, they replied customs has decided to to appraise my price 30X more than what actually it is. 30 times more.

                  are you serious?

                  also DHL is so shameless that it is asking us to proceed with clearance with 30x more price. crap heads.

                  Delhi clearance team people is treating CUSTOMERs like CUSTOMERs are their slaves not god. pathetic pathetic.

                  they should rename them self to torture service instead of support service. no support has been provided by them and instead the person was talking like I am a thief and trying to steal something off him.

                      Hey,
                      I just recently ordered from StockX.com
                      2 items
                      1 shoe and 1 hoodie both being Equal in price ( 120$ )
                      Both items came from Ups and DHL respectively.
                      To my surprise I paid 5600 as duty for my Ups order and DHL people called me and told me they have cleared my customs and now I’m liable to pay them 9800 ₹ duty on a import of 9000 ₹ hoodie .
                      They never even asked me before paying that duties
                      NEVER order any of your shipment from DHL.
                      Them paying customs on your behalf is the biggest scam

                        For my shipment DHL arranged a call back. Before my queries could be resolved they disconnected the phone. Very rude and unprofessional behavior this is. I am asked to pay Rupees 2000 as penalty. I have already approved for that but I still need the clarification for further processing. This shipment is sitting in Bangalore for over 2 weeks and I have still not received by shipment.. I don't know how much more delay will be happening. no resolution to this problem. Please help resolve this issue at the earliest.

                          I was asked by DHL to provide a corrected invoice last week as there was a query raised by customs clearance in India that the package included a letter which was not declared as part of invoice.

                          At the time of providing the corrected invoice I specially told the DHL clearance support agent that only one of the item had a value of $20. The other two items were just documents/letters hich has no purchase value.

                          But the clearance agent in India asked me to match the value that was originally in the invoice in order to avoid any further queries from customs.. so I followed the instructions and did the same.

                          Now you tell me if the customs ask for the proof of purchase of goods how will I justify the value of the document which is listed as $20? Documents don't have a value.

                          Also at the time of providing the corrected invoice I was not told there will be a penalty..

                          Now how is DHL going to help resolve this issue? Because again the customs will come back and ask for proof of value where $20 was listed for document in the corrected invoice which is actually not having a value.. this will cause further delay???

                          I need my shipment to be delivered without any further delay..

                          The customer support agents of DHL have misguided me causing me this situation of delay...

                          It was DHL agent at the time of shipment mentioned there is no value of documents and letters and so it is not required to be declared and now the same document customs is asking to be declared after physical scanning and when there was an option to provide the corrected info last week in the invoice... again the DHL clearance support agent misguided me to match what was in the original invoice... I could have provided the corrected invoice with one item value of $20 and the other two items being document and letter with zero value.

                          I don't want to keep on paying penalty due to misguidance by DHL CLEARANCE SUPPORT AGENTS. So please look into my issue and resolve as soon as possible as I have waited over 18 days for my shipment.

                            DHL is such a lazy department. Its already been so many days that they had been asking me for documents again and again just to kill my time.
                            No action or processes further proceeded by DHL Very slow and I feel they are purposely doing these to keep my expensive things.
                            A case must be filed against all the employees working there. Being a minority, I hope I get some justice.

                                This is about the consignment that I was supposed to receive on 04-April-2022

                                The consignment arrived at the Bangalore facility on 31-March-2022 - since then, I have been following up every now and then about the parcel

                                The customer service, and the customs rep do not give proper response - even if the required documents or info was provided, the pace at which communication happens is too slow - a snail would be quicker than the responses I get

                                The icing on the cake is that the website (https://mydhl.express.dhl/in/en/tracking.html#/results?id=XXXX) comments are ridiculous - as a receiver you do not know what is happening - at any given point of time, the only thing written is Clearance Event - how can I know what exactly is the status?

                                Also, the communication and responding back is poor

                                This is the worst service I have ever seen - for the past 2 days, I have been sending them the invoice and letter for clarification (as was requested by them) still they are not budging

                                As a consumer/receiver, we have little knowledge on what kind of invoice they require - if they have any specifics, they should reach out to the receiver

                                Pretty obnoxious, and atrocious service

                                If this does not clear today, and the item is not released, I would better let them have the product, and buy a new product - they can use it

                                Do not want to strain my brain on such a pathetic lot of people

                                This is so true their response is too slow.

                                      I sent a cargo from Ireland to Kerala my used house hold items which includes an LED TV. They held my cargo for more than 2 months asking for NOC for the TV and now they are charging for excess storage fees and not delivering my cargo to the destination. I was not able to obtain the noc because I am not a frequent importer.The storage fees is 5 times than the cost of my entire cargo. I don’t understand why they are holding my other cargo with the TV . I sent many email but nobody is helpful. I think they will make issues and will hold the cargo, will not deliver and at the end they will take the cargo. So my sincere advise to everyone not to use DHL express cargo.

                                      The final destination of my cargo is Cochin and I paid the full fees. It was told to me that I need to pay the customs for the LED TV only in Cochin airport. It was not informed to me about the TV clearance procedure or the storage fees. I asked why they are holding my remaining cargo earlier, it was told to me that, they can’t clear partial cargo. Now they say, they will not give the TV and they are charging huge storage fees and customs for my used household items like toaster, kettle etc. Different staff say different duty fees, they themselves not sure what they are doing. The delay is not my fault and they are charging me for their mistake . I have the purchase receipt for my old TV. Every time they will ask for revised invoice and cause delay, at the end nothing will happen. One staff say I should pay 73% duty, another say I should pay 77. 14% duty for my remaining item. I thought DHL was a reputed company but now I understand it’s all fraud especially DHL Bangalore customs. I sincerely advise not to use DHL express cargo to everyone. Let my experience at least a warning for others. If you want to deliver your item on time without any issue better choose some other company. Otherwise you will waste your time, money and cargo.

                                      My cargo is held by Bangalore customs clearance department and DHL will not go and clear my cargo. DHL is a licensed company but they are not doing because they are the second party in this service. I used excess baggage cargo services to sent my cargo to India but they handed it over to DHL when it reached India, but they won’t go and clear it from the airport. They have the license to clear my LED TV also but they are not doing that. The customs in Bangalore and DHL express in Bangalore is not doing their job and imposing huge tax and storage fees on me. So if you are sending any cargo international make sure it’s not handled by DHL in India instead use blue dart or other option. They have much smooth process. I request DHL express in Bangalore to clear my cargo at the earliest.
                                      They destroyed my whole items without even informing me . It’s been almost 4 months I was following it up. Destroyed means they took my cargo for their on use. And they are not willing to reimburse my money back. 4 months they just made hungamma to show that they will help but it’s all their drama. All the revised invoices and letters. Such a corrupt company. My sincere advise to all don’t ever use DHL . It’s full of corruption and corrupt people in it.

                                      Top of bottom in DHL express is corrupt staff especially Bangalore customs clearance staff. I emailed many staff but nobody helped be and they destroyed my cargo even before 6 months of time. I know they might have taken my items for their use. They should pay me compensation for destroying my cargo. I will file case against them with all the documentation. The following staffs were contacted many times.

                                        This is w.r.t the AWB NO. [protected] on the subject shipment which is from SUGANTHI TINDIVANAM KRISHNAN, IN to SHWETHA SRINIVASAN, IE.I find there is inordinate delay at Frankfurt, Germany. At the time of booking it was informed that shipment will be delivered within 4 to 7 days. DHL should have collected necessary documents at the time of booking itself. Being food items more care is needed and special attention to be given for prompt delivery.Kindly expedite customs clearance at Frankfurt and ensure that the package is delivered without further delay.kindly give feedback.
