My above shipment of two small insignificant paintings arrived in Delhi a month back. The concerned staff Ms Samiksha and Mr Shrikant did a terrible job of clearing from Customs at Delhi and gave some insane and unlawful custom duty working. The 12 percent Gst was charged as 28 percent. The duty came to more than double of the price of goods. I let them forfeit the good. The DHL staff did a terrible job. No phone call came from Samiksha and just cold rude emails. One she said goods are cleared but then changed the stance. She should be sacked immediately from the job.

    AWB [protected]
    Price of Product - 80 EUR =7063 INR
    Price DHL express shipping - 492.63 EUR = 43 500 INR
    After KYC i got call from DHL custom agent who try explain me I need to pay 39 694 INR duty tax. Which is 6 time more then product cost.
    Sender already pay 492.63 EUR (43 500 INR) for shipping. But they want i pay same amount again

      KYC team not responding

      Address: B-G03, EE Lab, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Kandi, Sangareddy, Hyderbad - 502284

      I have been getting calls from KYC team asking for KYC documents for shipment [protected] where in they state that the address proof should carry the delivery address as in the shipment. I am in a government institute where the delivery address carries my building name and room number to which the kyc team asks for PAN card and aadhaar card. After severe arguments one (I have been getting several calls and every time from a different person)...

      Hello Team,

      My Delivery time was on 21/11/2022, But there is no response from the DHL Team, In the KYC Page it says the KYC is approved but no information when my order is going to delivered

        My parcel is not delivered to the receiver after 2 weeks of time.My estimated delivery time was on November 21 2022 but still it's under the KYC process.I have had the worst experience so far with the customer service people.I have uploaded all the documents they requested nearly 6 times and it's still not cleared.
        Please look into this issue and deliver the parcel asap.

          My compliant regards chamber plate is broken and damaged since 20 days.. I have been informing local bbmp and bwssb persons too.. There are no reply or actions about that.. Problem is occurred while public persons walks and vehicles fell on that.. So pls take action as soon as possible...

            Probably the chennai region of DHL / DHL express is the worst I have experienced so far. They seem to have no training in handling customer complaints, They are very arrogant, rude and absolutely ' dont care'. Every complaint is received and replied back irresponsibily and forgotten and they call this customer service and they call themselves an international courirer!!!
            NO ACTION, NO CORDINATION, NO FEED BACK!! AN INTERNATIONAL COURIER CHARGING EXORBITANTLY!! Anybody can talk to their customer service number and have the experience.

              Took old people for a ride, not once, but twice.
              Shipped Items containing Shirts and some branded Non-Perishable Items like Murukku, Madras Mixture, Dhal Powder as Diwali Gift to our son in Spain.
              First time Parcel sent on Sept 21 AW Bill no [protected] from Chennai.
              This was not cleared by DHL Spain, Citing - Parcel weight 5.4 Kg. Will not go through Customs. If Weight is an issue, What was DHL India doing? They could have stopped this in Chennai and advised us. Shipment returned Vide AWB no[protected]. Paid INR 7800 for shipment and INR 4200 to clear the Returned shipment.
              We approached DHL Express office in Brookfield’s, Bangalore. Explained the background, removed some items, and sent it again on Sept 29 vide AWB [protected]. This time Weight 3.5 kg and all line items inspected & cleared by DHL.
              Again, DHL Spain rejected Citing Customs did not clear as the food items have Animal meat. Return AWB [protected]. Made a Complaint to MD office, Subramaniam and Customer Service. Someone responded, but they left it to Customer Care and no action taken.
              After 5 days, Customer Care Concludes that Spain Customs rejected since the Food line Items did not have Ingredients mentioned. If it is such a Critical requirement, DHL should have collected from us/should not have booked the parcel. Whose Mistake is this? We are first time shippers to Spain and Depended on DHL for Professional competence. Looks DHL Learning at our Cost.
              Spent INR 21000 twice & want DHL to Refund. DHL India must own responsibility for Faulty booking & refund the amount.

                Not complaining something new...My parcel has landed and now they are saying pincode is not same as mentioned in shipment...
                It's my bad, that i didn't do proper research before ordering through DHl...
                I am very sure they will now try to get more money in the name of warehouse and custom charges...If this happens, I am going to file a legal complaint aginst this company...There are enough proof with me that DHL is doing fraud and cheating customers...Feeling cheated

                  Dear Sir,

                  DHL servicce always amaze, unfortunately the AWB [protected] consigement reached 10th September 2022 to India, till nown now clearance goes very slow process. every day only one process which also we get update after 48 hours from team.

                  We have panlty from end cusotmer ( GE Reseach Lab Bangalore ) already every day huge on late delivery . We highly trust DHL to support the shipment but every day one update also not we are getting to speed up the the shipment clearanc e

                  we are unable to reach the shipment clearing DHL agent to reach and speak to get update at least once in a day.

                  Kindly support to clear the shipment asap to avoid further loss due to his shipment . We are unable to delight our customer due to this 20 plus day delay .

                    We are a manufacturer exporter in ludhiana and we are sending regular international couriers through DHL courier near bus stand ludhiana. But every time they are not mention our GST number on bill. That is why we are not able to claim the GST claim and the whole GST amount DHL puts it in his pocket. May this is a fraud against government.

                    Please take a serioud action against DHL Ludhiana near bus stand office.

                      We have received consignment from Germany on above Airway bill no., they have raised query in tariff no. error in the invoice, we got it corrected from our supplier and submitted on 31/7/2022, as on date the consignment is not yet cleared, we have spoken to 35 times in customer care services, no proper info. We are not getting any DHL office staff's nos. No proper information about my consignment, we are fed-up on this DHL service. We need support for this, we need this materials very badly.

                        Person staying at US, sent some clothes, vitamins, splenda . Furnished all deatils like value weight invoice.KYC details were asked by dhl, When landed at Bangalore waiting for custom clr. dhl asked us to furnish declaration letter to deputy commissioner saying gift items and no payment involved fro here and form 7 duly filled.
                        inspite of all this giving dhl clearing agent did not convince customs with the letters and form 7.Asked us to pay 100% duty .
                        The way they have opened items with out taking any care.All things were just stuffed back .why dhl didnot able to convince properly
                        not able to contact clearing agents because of call centre
                        such shabby treatment calls for boycott

                          Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the dimension of the box and then dividing (L*W*H / 5000).

                          When i measured the dimension of the box, it was completely different from the dimensions used for calculating the volumetric weight. I raised the issue with my account manager and billing department, but of them stated that the dimension taken by the DHL are correct. In fact I had provided the pictures of the box along with dimensions being measured by measuring tape. I had also requested to get the box re-measured in any DHL facility in Delhi but they have not responded to my request.

                          I still have the box with me and the contents of the box are still intact.

                          the dimension measured by me are 36 * 21 * 35.

                            Hello, I had ordered a winshield (the small piece of plexiglass over headlight) also known as a Visor from EBAY.COM
                            The item was shipped on 23-7-22 from Thailand and Landed in Bangalore 3 days later and was to be delivered to me in Hyderabad by 28-7-22. But it did not reach me. The tracking showed 'Clearence Event' at customs in Bangalore. On 5-8-22 I get a text message on phone that I have to customs duty.

                            Please help me out of this trouble. I received mailed that my parcel will delivered within 18 business days by it has been more than one month now still not delivered. I mailed on the mail which I received the information by they even don't reply one of my mail. I received mail from this mail I'd (DHL.co.[protected]@outlook.com) . Even they don't give me my tracking number. I suffered a lot please help me to get my parcel it's very urgent for me.

                              I was repeatedly asked for documents which I submitted, all of them.
                              I have written numerous mails.

                              The package is shuttling between AHMEDABAD and DELHI instead of moving to destination. It has been 20 days.

                              The amount paid for shipment is large, I don't expect so un-professional service...

                              Failing to meet timelines of delivery of a personal shipment from UK

                              I’ve had it up to my neck with the incompetence and fraudulent tendencies of DHL. This is the second time in a span of two months that they have harassed me because of internal system failures and have routinely delayed my packages by a minimum of 2 weeks. All these for personal parcels. They transfer packages from one place to another without any intimation but when you ask them they turn around and ask me whether I have given instructions. Their clearance team in Chennai is at another level of incompetence for international shipments. Despite submitting all relevant documents they repeatedly harass me with calls asking for the EXACT SAME documents. Also, despite making it abundantly clear that it’s a personal package, I’m bombarded with calls asking which company this is for and if it is for business purposes. Over and above all this the customs charges are obscene and unjustified. I do not face this with any other courier partner and even the post office is much more efficient than this. As I submit this complaint I have still not received my parcel. The only thing you get is 20 fake apologies. They also never connect you to the escalation team and no action is ever taken.

                                We had Shipment AWB [protected] which is china to India landed on 1st of July 22 in Bangalore Airport, After submitting all required documents they put shipment on Hold and no update from DHL for Hold . After calling customer care several time they said it's under custom officer approval and it continues for still 17th July 22, By 18th they said it's under amendment process and they didn't said reason for amendment .it continuous for 4 days that it's under amendment process . After 4 days again they started saying waiting for custom officer approval while reaching DHL customer care. DHL not revealing what's the exact issue and not updating what they are doing to release the shipment, I tried several times writing emails to DHL clearance agent, calling customer care but no use

                                And Still the issue continuous for last 25days

                                  Dear Sir/ Madam,
                                  I am writing with regret to inform you of the unprofessional attitude and irresponsible handling of my request by one of your staff at the panjim office (Shop-4, Shankar Parvati Building Opp Education Dept, Governador Pestana, Road, Panjim, Goa, Panaji, Goa 403001)

                                  The lady’s name is Ms Erum.
                                  On the 15/7/22 I called Dhl/blue dart and spoke to Ms Erum who informed me to come to the office at the above address at 10 am the following day ( saturday16/7/22)

                                  I informed her that the document I was sending was original, important and must reach Delhi on the 18/7. She assured my that it would be sent on the 16/7 and would reach on 18/7 in Delhi if there were no unexpected delays by the courier service

                                  On the 16/7/22 I was at the office at 10 am . There was a gentlemen before me who was already waiting for Ms Erum to come on duty. Another client after me, who left because he could wait no longer!

                                  We waited until 11 am and often requested the other lady at the office (assistant )to call Ms Erum on her mobile to check her whereabouts. She, was not only late for duty but delayed and upset my / our schedules as well.
                                  Upon arrival, Ms Erum did not even have the courtesy to apologize for the delay!
                                  We were informed by the office assistant that this is a regular issue with Ms Erum!

                                  On the 18/7, To my surprise, upon Tracking My courier I am informed that it is delayed and will reach only on the 21/7, instead of18/7.

                                  I called Mr Pranay (who was on duty and is also an employee at the dhl /bluedart office ) - he informed me that the delay was no fault of the courier service but Ms Erum who left the office early on Saturday because of which my courier did not leave on Saturday 16/7 ( as foreseen)
                                  Had she been there, he said, the COurier would have left on time and reached on the 18/7.

                                  I find this behavior if Ms Erum absolutely irresponsible!
                                  Dhl /blue dart will loose valuable customers if the staff are so irresponsible and have a ‘Dont care’ attitude.

                                  I will be sharing this unfortunate experience (at Dhl / blue date Panaji ) with all my friends and contacts and will discourage them to use the DHl /blue dart courier service, and will do the same myself, until I have received an update on this issue from the department handling grievance.

                                  I hope Dhl / blue dart care enough for the clients and betterment of the company to do something about issues that will hinder the business.
