This is the issue regarding non delivery of Pizza and charging money for that.This happened in Dominos Pizza outlet in BTM 2nd stage, Bangalore.
On 12th June, I ordered a pizza online and made the payment of Rs 558 online. The pizza was never delivered to me and I had to stay hungry that night as I had no other source of food as it was already 12 midnight.
I tried calling in the outlet on the status of my order, but noone picked that night.
Now when I am asking for refund of my money, they said that the order was online and we can not refund your money. They are asking me to order a pizza now instead of refunding my money, which is a highly impractical resolution.
This is a clear case of customer harassment by not delivering the promised even after charging money and then not refunding the money even after 11 day of the event.
The same thing would have happened with multiple customers as Dominos have buy one get one free offer and they are unable to handle the surging demand of the pizza. On their part, refusing to refund the money is gross negligence of ethics and moral.
