Shipment not delivered and tha current status is showing delivery failed

Shipment not delivered on time

I have sent a courier from Surar to Jejuri (Pin code - 412303 ) on 28th December 2020 with the consignment number A91109370. This has very important stuff and the online tracking now says not delivered ( customer not available - (Cir). I gave 2 alternative numbers in case something happened and dtdc never tried to contact me on any of the for delivery and now says not delivered. They haven't sent him any communication of this either. I could only see this when i tracked it even though I went online and registered my phone for tracking. They haven't given me any details about my courier. How do i get it back? No customer care numbers or office numbers available. All numbers online seem to be wrong. This is very important courier and this kind of irresponsible service is outrageous.

I had handed over an consignment to DTDC courier South Extension, Delhi on 30 December 2020 (AWB no.Z[protected]. The consignment was to be sent to Gurgaon. I was promised that the packet would be delivered by 11:00 am on 31st December 2020. But to my surprise the packet has not been delivered as on today i.e.2 January 2021 afternoon. I want to file complaint with the consumer grievance cell against the company (branch at South extension) and demand compensation of ₹5000 for the delay in my consignment which was a demand draft worth ₹2, 00, 000/- required for the registration of my house at Gurgaon.

I didn't received my courier but in tracking status it showing courier has successful delivered.

We have purchased some material from Kashipur, Delhi and booked through DTDC EXPRESS . Vide or no I 03363217 dt 30 /12/20 . But till today we have not received the material or are not able to trace the consignment. . In DTDC site it is shown as not booked . Kindly help us . We are urgent need of material .

I called many customer care pleople, the parcel is lying around in the branch undelivered.

I trust DTDC and it's service. The delivery guy and the local branch people are uncooperative.

I am Sreya Sajeev from Idukki, Kerala. I have informed DTDC o[censored]nprofessional behavior of staffs at DTDC office Rajakkad, Idukki, Kerala twice. So far I have contacted DTDC with regard to 3 parcels. The parcel has been send in the name of a third party.

Incident 1 - It came to my notice that Rajakkad, Idukki office is not providing doorstep delivery and on request, employee asked me to collect it from office and told me he would deliver only on his convenience. On telling to him I would raise a complaint, threatening response was 'go ahead with the complaint, nobody is going to enquire'.

Incident 2- A parcel from High Court of Kerala lawyer was sent in the name of same third party (Surjith, Mahadeva Spices, Rajakkad). It said failed to deliver and on contacting them twice, employee asked me 'NOT TO SENT PARCELS ANYMORE IF I CAN'T TAKE IT FROM OFFICE'. Next day status of parcel was shown 'delivered' and product was not delivered. I contacted DTDC office and on informing him it's from High Court of Kerala, I received a call in 2 mins telling me product got delivered.

Tracking details said product failed to deliver and could not find address. I didn't receive any call from DTDC. Despite that it says it failed to deliver. DTDC tracking says it's returned to sender but sender didn't receive any call so far.

This is the third incident consecutively. This behavior from DTDC is unprofessional and breach of contract has occurred thrice. Not delivering the product is intentional as I have contacted them asking for doorstep delivery. DTDC employees are taking grudge against me this act of not delivering is intentional.

When enquired for POD copy in DTDC customer Care, there response is very poor and not able to reach the Concern DTDC person for POD copy.

Kindly send POD copy for docket no D94808862 delivered on 18th Nov to Siemens LTD.

A gift hamper was sent by my organization which reached Kerala Peruva DTDC office on 29th Dec 2020. Personal refused from delivering the product and mentioned that he would do door delivery upon having consignment to be delivered to a bank which is situated near by my home. Upon asking question he used abusive language and threatened.

The courier team is calling me and giving bad words when I ask about the service.

They are continuously calling and asking me to come outside my house.
Giving threat calls.

Please look into this as it is a very worst service which you are giving to your customers.

Almost 15 days passed and I didn't received my parcel.It's being too late.From 13 days it is stuck at one place. When I reached the branch where the consignment is, they told that they will deliver it within 2 days.But I didn't received it.When I visited there after 3 days and at this time they told that they don't have the parcel.
Please sir, I need the parcel. It's urgent.It's being too late.

Yesterday I got tracking from my dealer and it isn't showing.

My name is Anand Sathyanathan. My employer, LinkedIn availed the services of DTDC for sending a parcel ) gift box to Kerala from Bangalore. Consignment number: D61908958.

The courier was received at Kozhikode, Kerala on 29/12/2020 around 07:30 PM. Since I was not at home, my mother collected the item from the delivery representative.

When the courier was delivered at Kozhikode I found that the package was tampered with & some of the items have been stolen.

This is a sheer act of irresponsibility.

I am filing an FIR & a complaint against DTDC in the Consumer Forum.

I demand an immediate recovery of the stolen items or the reimbursement of the value of the stolen goods.

Tracking showed not delivered (receiver not available) at 21:39 on 21/12/2020
Tracking showed delivered successfully to Mahesh (self) at 19:00 hrs on 22/12/2020.

It is to note that the delivery person never contacted receiver either on 21/12/2020 or 22/12/2020 for confirming address or landmark.

It is to note that there is no person named "Mahesh" at residence of receiver. It is therefore clear that the delivery person was holding the article with himself putting false information of parcel being delivered. This has caused a lot of mental harassment to sender because she already left India on 21/12/2020 by flight scheduled at 04:30 hrs.

Now, the delivery person called the receiver today (29/12/2020) at about 14:hrs stating that he could not find address and insisted that receiver should come to him at bus stand to collect it. He also threatened the receiver that if they don't collect it, he will return the parcel back to sender.

It is note that son of the receive is ex-defense person and he being sincere person, collected the parcel while on the way to office.

This threatening of the delivery person also cause a lot of mental harassment to receiver and also caused financial losses because the receiver has to call sender at her overseas number.

It is therefore DTDC is liable to compensate for:-
1) Entire courier charges for delay in delivery
2) Rs. 100, 000/- as compensation for mental harassment
