A gift hamper was sent by my organization which reached Kerala Peruva DTDC office on 29th Dec 2020. Personal refused from delivering the product and mentioned that he would do door delivery upon having consignment to be delivered to a bank which is situated near by my home. Upon asking question he used abusive language and threatened.

They are continuously calling and asking me to come outside my house.

Almost 15 days passed and I didn't received my parcel.It's being too late.From 13 days it is stuck at one place. When I reached the branch where the consignment is, they told that they will deliver it within 2 days.But I didn't received it.When I visited there after 3 days and at this time they told that they don't have the parcel.
Please sir, I need the parcel. It's urgent.It's being too late.

It happened same with me, Its been 18 days my laptop has not reached the destination, After many calls Finally today (30.12.2020) I got the answer "It was misplaced somewhere" and it was lost.

My name is Anand Sathyanathan. My employer, LinkedIn availed the services of DTDC for sending a parcel ) gift box to Kerala from Bangalore. Consignment number: D61908958.

The courier was received at Kozhikode, Kerala on 29/12/2020 around 07:30 PM. Since I was not at home, my mother collected the item from the delivery representative.

When the courier was delivered at Kozhikode I found that the package was tampered with & some of the items have been stolen.

This is a sheer act of irresponsibility.

I am filing an FIR & a complaint against DTDC in the Consumer Forum.

I demand an immediate recovery of the stolen items or the reimbursement of the value of the stolen goods.

Tracking showed not delivered (receiver not available) at 21:39 on 21/12/2020
Tracking showed delivered successfully to Mahesh (self) at 19:00 hrs on 22/12/2020.

It is to note that the delivery person never contacted receiver either on 21/12/2020 or 22/12/2020 for confirming address or landmark.

It is to note that there is no person named "Mahesh" at residence of receiver. It is therefore clear that the delivery person was holding the article with himself putting false information of parcel being delivered. This has caused a lot of mental harassment to sender because she already left India on 21/12/2020 by flight scheduled at 04:30 hrs.

Now, the delivery person called the receiver today (29/12/2020) at about 14:hrs stating that he could not find address and insisted that receiver should come to him at bus stand to collect it. He also threatened the receiver that if they don't collect it, he will return the parcel back to sender.

It is note that son of the receive is ex-defense person and he being sincere person, collected the parcel while on the way to office.

This threatening of the delivery person also cause a lot of mental harassment to receiver and also caused financial losses because the receiver has to call sender at her overseas number.

It is therefore DTDC is liable to compensate for:-
1) Entire courier charges for delay in delivery
2) Rs. 100, 000/- as compensation for mental harassment

DTDC Courier & Cargo — Misbehavior and misappropriation of Branch HUB

My shipment was reverted back to Main HUB due to area Non Serviceable where i already informed to the MAIN HUB like please transfer the shipment to nearby branch where i will collect it on go by direct visit of office. Meanwhile i had raised an service request query with update of same under #3555208 Notify / ModifyZ78147465 earlier of one day (12th August 2022) before the shipment reached to the local hub. As per my request Main HUB had transferred the parcel to local HUB on 13th August 2022.But i didn't received any call from the HUB .So i went to the HUB directly for the collection of product and tried them through call, but they told its an leave due to national holiday(15th August 2022), so that i came back to home. Also the branch guy informed that your parcel is not yet received to local Hub, but the parcel was placed in the local hub only. Again 16th August 2022 am trying to check the shipment track where it shows that parcel was returned to Main hub. I tried over call to the local HUB and asked why you guys didn't called or informed regarding about the parcel. They said its not an our duty to inform if its non serviceable area where every one is asked to deliver the product at door delivery. If you want to collect your parcel you have to go and visit the Main HUB, such that the HUB person is responding. Here are the attached snap for your reference. How you are recurring these type of person for delivery where they are not satisfying the delivery of customer product. Really an worst courier service center.

I placed a courier booking on 23rd of December to get it sent from Patna to Chandigarh. The service was DTDC green yet the website still shows that the item is on transit ever since 25th December, and it's 29th December. It's still stuck in Delhi so what's the use of paying such an amount to an apparently reliable company when the item is still in transit from a date long ago?

Pin code is rightly mentioned as 801505, Phulwari Sharif, Patna.

No one has called me yet.

I have a feeling of my package will be lost.

Package has reached patna from Gurgaon, but DTDC seems to be searching the pin code at wrong location..

I sent a courier through DTDC from Bengaluru to Kolkata on the 19th of December. I was promised that the courier will reach on 23rd of December.
However, the courier delayed. After 21st December there was no update on the DTDC portal about my product. On complaining to them directly, I got a response to wait till 26th. I paid close to 3700 to make sure the product reaches on time and then I am asked to wait.
Firstly this is unethical, if you are charging more money for fast delivery you should make sure to fulfill that.
Now it's 28th December, I still haven't received the product. In fact, on DTDC portal, they are giving a wrong update that "RECEIVER REQUESTED DELIVERY ON ANOTHER DATE-(CIR))".Now, we never got the call from the delivery boy. In fact everyone at home is waiting for the product to be delivered!!
How can they make such FALSE claims?
Kindly resolve my issue. How do you expect to retain customers, if you provide such unprofessional service!!

To whoever it may concern,

I shipped a laptop from Durgapur, West Bengal to Chembur, Mumbai on 16th of march 2020. On receiving the laptop after a week, I found that the screen was cracked from inside and the hinge was broken. There could be more internal damages I am sure about.

I raised a verbal complaint with the Durgapur service and they told me to get a quotation from Service Centre. Owing to lockdown and covid situation in Mumbai, I couldn't do anything. I kept them informed about that. Since August till date, I have been frantically searching for parts as all authorized service centers in my near vicinity(Mumbai and Durgapur)told me parts are unavailable. I have to use compatible parts but now the DTDC is not even ready to pay as it too late.

We all know the covid situation here in Mumbai and entire country. How was I exactly supposed to get the quotation from?

Still, I got one from local vendor based on compatible parts.

I am not asking full refund of my laptop price, just the repair which normally if the parts were available would have cost around 20K.
But with inferior compatible parts is just 8K.

If they don't pay, I am done with DTDC and would not recommend any of my friends or business partners to DTDC.

21st Ward Narsapur-534275 West Godavari Dist AP .But it has not yet been delivered, But tracking shows as though it was delivered .. It might have been fraud committed by delivery boy .There are chances that POD might have been forged by delivery boy concerned .If so, we will take criminal action after receipt of POD. Pl take instant action in the matter to see that it is delivered.
