To whoever it may concern,
I shipped a laptop from Durgapur, West Bengal to Chembur, Mumbai on 16th of march 2020. On receiving the laptop after a week, I found that the screen was cracked from inside and the hinge was broken. There could be more internal damages I am sure about.
I raised a verbal complaint with the Durgapur service and they told me to get a quotation from Service Centre. Owing to lockdown and covid situation in Mumbai, I couldn't do anything. I kept them informed about that. Since August till date, I have been frantically searching for parts as all authorized service centers in my near vicinity(Mumbai and Durgapur)told me parts are unavailable. I have to use compatible parts but now the DTDC is not even ready to pay as it too late.
We all know the covid situation here in Mumbai and entire country. How was I exactly supposed to get the quotation from?
Still, I got one from local vendor based on compatible parts.
I am not asking full refund of my laptop price, just the repair which normally if the parts were available would have cost around 20K.
But with inferior compatible parts is just 8K.
If they don't pay, I am done with DTDC and would not recommend any of my friends or business partners to DTDC.

My shipment was reverted back to Main HUB due to area Non Serviceable where i already informed to the MAIN HUB like please transfer the shipment to nearby branch where i will collect it on go by direct visit of office. Meanwhile i had raised an service request query with update of same under #3555208 Notify / ModifyZ78147465 earlier of one day (12th August 2022) before the shipment reached to the local hub. As per my request Main HUB had transferred the parcel to local HUB on 13th August 2022.But i didn't received any call from the HUB .So i went to the HUB directly for the collection of product and tried them through call, but they told its an leave due to national holiday(15th August 2022), so that i came back to home. Also the branch guy informed that your parcel is not yet received to local Hub, but the parcel was placed in the local hub only. Again 16th August 2022 am trying to check the shipment track where it shows that parcel was returned to Main hub. I tried over call to the local HUB and asked why you guys didn't called or informed regarding about the parcel. They said its not an our duty to inform if its non serviceable area where every one is asked to deliver the product at door delivery. If you want to collect your parcel you have to go and visit the Main HUB, such that the HUB person is responding. Here are the attached snap for your reference. How you are recurring these type of person for delivery where they are not satisfying the delivery of customer product. Really an worst courier service center.
