I gave an envelope containing important business documents and had to reach to my brother in churchgate, mumbai, 400020, next day, saturday, on december 08, 2018 by 10:00am. Paid rs.280.00 for urgent next day delivery. Called the receipient several times on saturday, dec. 08, 2018 before 5:00pm but my brother had not received that envelope. That is my btother's residence. I inquired with dtdc's local office in bodakdev, ahmedabad 380054. Both owners - mr. Ravi lakhani & mr. Chirag lakhani saying lie that the delivery guy rang the bell but nobody opened the door. I explained to both of them, that it's a residence and there are always 5 family members and 2 servants living there. Finally on its own inquiry, dtdc was informed thst the envelope was delivered on monday, dec. 10, 2018 almost at 3:00pm - that happened to be the time for regular delivery. I called dtdc's bangalore head office and requested refund, & i was asked to call dtdc's bombay office, from there i i was directed to call mr tanuj of ahmedabad office. Howvwer, even after calling mr. Tanuj at least 25 times he has not answered his phone even once. It certainly does not seem like a good reputable corporation's behavior. It certainly seems like the responsible employees of dtdc do not care for company's honor & reputation to provide a committed service and if not, then refund the money charged for the service not provided. I had informed dtdc that i am a senior citizen and i don't have my own transportation. I had suggested that since i had charged the amount on my credit card, dtdc should refund that amount on my credit card without creating any more fuss. Pls resolve this immediately and urgently.
