DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

An electronic item was nicely packaged for courier (Awb no. B[protected]. This item was delivered in delhi on tuesday, 19th sep 17.

The delhi company sent me photographs of the item delivered to them.

I was shocked to see photographs, showing the condition of the received item. The photographs of the items are given below for kind perusal.

From the photographs, you will notice:
One corner is badly damaged causing dents.
The panel is seen pushed out, damaging the electrical interconnections.

The item has been very badly handled. The delhi company will be carrying out the following additional tasks:
A) replacement of the damaged box by a new one.
B) re assembly of the electrical modules in the new box and carryout functional tests.

Thus, solely due to your errors, i will have to pay the costs towards above-mentioned tasks, for no fault of mine.

Yesterday, i went to the dtdc office and showed photographs to the person in office. I was connected to mr. Sudhakaran, the incharge. I spoke to mr. Sudhakran, over the phone. Surprisingly, he was blunt and made unconvincing statements. He asked me to send photographs through whatsapp to him and said he will come back to me.

In spite of sending the photos, he has not bothered to come back to me, till now.

Thus, i am the aggrieved and i request you to take immediate remedial action and oblige me.

I am writing this complement for not attending the delivery by the delivery personnel and writing in the status "receiver refused delivery" via e-mail. My shipment awb/ consignment number is d36550545.
But receiver has not refused the shipment (I confirmed with them) and now when i m tracking this shipment on dtdc website it is showing not delivered.
I called various dtdc offices in gurgaon, each of them further gave another number to call and finally the last number[protected] and 62) i got, is always busy.
They should try re-delivery.

To day i want book a anvelop to chennai from ibrahimpatnam, the booking office man says it costs ₹80 for cover, i stunned and asked him this much cost and he replies for that roghly i[censored] want book otherwise u go away, don't talk toumuch i felt very bad for his behavior with customers

Feeling very frustrated while writing this mail.

We have booked one shipment from amravati to noida docket number m55562283 same was to be booked by dtdc express service as confirmed by your dtdc amravati franchise owner (Mr. Bhalerao [protected]) and we have paid for express services also but cargo was booked in lite service without any prior information to us.

Secondly, when it reached to noida those people sent this for delivery on 18th of sep-17 but same was dropped down but no information to us that the cargo was returned back after all these we called dtdc noida office[protected] but person attending the call started using bad words. Being professional we just cut down the call and didn’t said anything.

Lastly, we still don’t have any information on the delivery status and feeling fooled by dtdc now only hope is from corporate office and customer care hope you guys will listen to our problem and provide the solution.

After 4 days of shipment (20/09/2017), dtdc tracking system still shows that it is in transit. I have contacted dtdc customer care and registered case no. Is 07823820 and still i could not get any update on the issue.
From reputed courier services like dtdc, it is never expected this is very pathetic. Please trace the document and deliver it immediately.

Dear sir/madam,

I am forced to write this mail with utter frustration & disappointment at the way your organisation has handled my consignment under discussion in trailing mails. Apart from what has been stated in mails so far, i have some specific questions to be answered regarding the efficiency of your customer care team & andheri branch.

On 5th september the recipient mrs sumitra yadav contacted your customer care & spoke to a lady there who categorically stated that the consignment in question was at andheri branch & could not be delivered because of incomplete address of the recipient.
Mrs yadav dictated the complete address to the executive & was told that the consignment shall positively be delivered by that evening.

However when nothing was heard till next day, she contacted the customer care again & was told that she will get it by that evening.. Till date the same has not been delivered.

My question to you sir/madam is:-
After your customer care confirmed that the consignment was lying at andheri branch since 30th of august because the recipient's address was incomplete, where has it gone after the address was communicated?

Kindly get the the whole episode thoroughly investigated & trace the item.
I shall be awaiting an early reply.

My courier consignee no. Z32805129 has been sent to nagpur by dtdc courier but it is not delivered to me till 19/09/2017 whereas tracking status shows that it is delivered on 14/9/2019. For this wrong information when delivery boy has contacted then he also said that above mention item has delivered on 14/09/2017. During clarification to whom he delivered the item he only replied that he has only office stamp without receivers signature. I s this possible without consignee signature how he delivered the item. Please take appropriate action for courier delivered without signature and send my courier earliest other wise i have to go customer forum for justice.

Myself aman kumar, i posted an emergency courier to delhi as it was extremely urgent for me. They told me that it will be delivered within 72 hours, but its more than 15 days now and the courier is still not deliverd. My consignment no is z30509056. Even i went
To dtdc franchise office in nawada delhi (Cannaught place) to know about the status of my courier and they did not respond good. And he is not picking my call when i was call on customer care.

Dtdc is a company of poor reputation, dtdc never cares for the public, i booked a parcel on 7th sep from sirsi karnataka for kalyan near mumbai, i was promised delivery in 3 days, but the good reached me on 18 th sep.in a damaged condition, the goods itself costed me rs.1500/- i was charged rs.1700/-, the delay has caused me a loss of money and time, dtdc does not take calls, the customer servcis are worst by any standard, i wish to take the matter to the consumer forum, the last option left, if you track the number you will know... How these bunch of monkeys work.

You have to protect your image in india, dtdc is a cheat, their directors cell & contact numbers are never displayed on any web you may check this too.

My item reached on 12sep17 at palakkad hub, after receiving the item they did not communicate till now 18sep17. After tracking my consigned no b40205525 when i asked them at palakkad office, they replies we are searching your item. Today i was told them i will give the complaint to consumer court if the item not delivered today, after they are not picking up the call also. Sir this is very very pathetic the distance from their office to my house is only 3 km, then also they failed to do their job. Please rectify this problem.12sep17

I have sent one shipement through dtdc courier service due to some issue it was not delivered to consignee & that needs to get back to my home address but till date i have not received this courier back to my home. I have done multiple attempt with dtdc but there is no one who gave me assurance to send back my courier. The below is extract my email sent on 20 aug 2017 but till date there is no response at all.

"i have sent my shipment with tracking id - z30508418 on 18 jul 2017 from matiyala dtdc office uttam nagar, new delh-110059. On 22 jul 2017 this came under rto & till date it still on rto process. I have done multiple of follow up with mr ajit.. At matiyala office but they are failed to get my packet back, they gave me excuse every time & even he is not picking my phone even not reply on whatsup and it is unacceptable at all.
Around 10-15 days before, i called at dtdc meera bag office & requested them to send my packet at my home, then they sent an email to narayana office and gave instruction to deliver the same.
Last week, i call again to narayana office and ask for my packet but they are not aware about my packet.

I have done multiple of attempt narayana, meera bag & matiyal dtdc office but there is no one who can give me any satisfactory answer.

Now, may you please assist, how can i get my shipment back at my home or i will lost my packet & money.

Is there no one in dtdc, who can provide the right status & deliver my packet back at my home, its my worse experience with dtdc service & it shows how you are dealing with your customer.

This parcel is delivered by dtdc rudrapur to our company on 15.09.2017 6:30pm. This parcel having booked weight 5.32 kg but we have received empty box of 0.980 kg and your dtdc docket is showing weight 1.4 kg.

I send courier of worth rupees 4000 from Pune to Jalgaon from your office located at Narayan peth, Pune. with no D36769352 ..your service provider said they delivered it within 2 days but now it is 5 th day but I doesn't receive it..I contacted your service provider but they doesn't give satisfactory answer ...even my consignment doesn't tracked yet..it says that your no is not valid format ...this is 1st time I deal with your service and get very bad experience ...please help and do something quickly ..

I have registered complaint against my consinment number k04729223 containing some important documents which i needed in new delhi. The item was sent to me from guwahati on 13th of september which reached new delhi on 14th of september evening but till 5pm of 15th september i did not recieved my documents. I am attaching the proof herewith. The courier service has made a fake promise of delivering within 24 to 48 hrs due to which my urgent work remained undone and my precious time was misused. Please do take necessary action against this act of irresponsibility so that no consumer should ever be remained harrased like i have been. Thank you.

I did parcel courier through dtdc its been 15 days over with track number or aws :h02720656 fom hyderabad to gurgon. Its worth 1200/- product.
I tried to contact customer support no one is not picking up the phone. I sent a mail on this to customer care mail but no response. Is this the way dtdc deling with the customer s. No support in any form from dtdc.

My consignment number is m55412186 it was delivered to jabalpur to pune still not received.
Stuck in mumbria hub last 3 days no one bothered to informe. I tried to contact to customer care pune they talk to rudely they said you have to wait we will find. It try mumbai number was given by pune customer service team. No response they said stuck in mumbai we don't know why we will check get back to you. And now where we given the package jabalpur courier person told my they missed your package that's why they didn't reply even he also raised the complaint but no one reply.

It is highly un acceptable from your company i always used to prefer your company

On 17/08/2017 i booked an article at dtdc, tinsukia office with the above mentioned consignment number for delivering to mr. Baibhav biswas, house number:412-g, omega city, nh-95 chandigarh, khanpur, punjab-140301. But till date the article is not delivered.

Observing the receipt on 19/8/2017 it was seen that the pincode of the destination (The receiver) written on the receipt as 14030166 instead of 140301. Instantly it was communicated to [protected]@dtdc.com from my email id.

On aug 23 a mail was sent to me as below but somehow it remained unseen to me.

"dear sir/madam,
Greetings of the day!
Please find the details mentioned underneath for the case number : 07217153, against consignment number k02397879
As per mohali team address is not correct so pls wait we will arrange the same

On 31st august, 2017 i sent another mail as below-

Dear sir,
Please let me know why the article is not delivered till date. Instead the receiver is asked to collect the article from your office. Please arrange for delivering the article at the earliest. Even no response was made by the destination office when he tried to contact.

Later on tracking the consignment it was found that the consignment was being returned to its original place and immediately another mail was sent as under which will speak of itself.

Dear sir,

It really made me strange to receive the mail that a reputed courier service like (Your one) dtdc could not made a delivery of the shipment referred above, instead returning to its origin. We were very well aware of the situation in punjab during these days and could bear the late of delivery of the article for a few days. Moreover, the contact number of both the sender and receiver were well written on the cover of the article along with the address. You could made a phone call and ask to collect the article from your office if you were unable to deliver to its address. But not a little effort were made from your end. Does it not meant that you do not care a little to give service to your customer or you do not bother at all for the suffering of the customers.

May i now request you to make necessary arrangement for delivering the article to its destination. Hope you will pay a little effort to do so or otherwise should i think that you do not have any responsibility of delivering articles of the customers except making money.

On searching tracking history it is seen that the article received at guwahati hub on 6th september, 2017. But till date it is not received by tinsukia office.

Under the above circumstances i found no other way but to complain you for give me back my article with full compensation for harassing me for the negligence of the company i. E. Dtdc not taking responsibility of their duty.

Further i want that the dtdc should taught a lesson so that no other person will have to suffer because of their irresponsible service.
