I am facing very bad experience on DTDC courier service. I sent parcels from UK on 30 Dec 2016 to India and paid all charges. I got call on 3rd Jan that your parcels are arrived and you need to pay INR10000 as DTDC has paid custom duty at airport. I was really surprised as there are used clothes and other used material in parcels. After following number of times, i didn't get any satisfactory answers from any one. Also no one is providing any information on which parcels and on what items they have applied charges. They have provided me one receipt from custom where there is amount written by hand scratching original DFree. I am really doubtful about this. Now they are saying amount is around INR15000. Also Mr. Vasi from Delhi office said that you cannot transport used clothes by courier as per courier act of India. Is this true? why i was not contacted before paying custom charges?

I booked a parcel weight of 1.5 kg. Cooking article in west mambalam detc courtier office situatd in arya gowda road and consignment no c72966569 on 19/1/17. But till this minute this hasnot been delivered to bangalore to theaddress mr. Ashoksrinivasan, c2/509, sjr luxuria near l&t south city, arakere iim post, off. Banarghetta road, bangalore 560076. And contact cell. [protected] and land line.[protected]. On tracking shown as delivered on 20/1/17 and received by siva. Actually not delivered to the address. I contact in[protected] yesterday and made complaint and even in chennai office where booked. Further a made in customer care through e. Mail. No information from your end till this minute. Even in bangalore the address also contacted.in the tracking delivered at madiwala branch. Kindly trace and delivered the correct address and take action on the erring persons. This is with reference to package no m44324215, which i sent from mumbai to delhi. The consignee says that she was never contacted, not did dtdc make any attempts to deliver. Dtdc says it made 3 attempts; so it sounds like a lie.

Now, for nearly one week dtdc says the package has returned to mumbai and it will be given back to us. Every day we are told that it will be delivered back to us 'tomorrow'. Tomorrow never comes.

So you have lost it; have you? Why cant you be honest? Why lie?

We would like the packet to be delivered today (Either back to us or to the consignee) or tell us that it is lost. Please do so anyhow, before we take action against you.

This is to bring to your notice that an all important cheque from Sony Corporation Bangalore which was to reach Mumbai office in SantaCruz W about 2 weeks ago - sent from Greenwood High Bannerghatta Road has been mis routed and there has been no intimation to sender or attempt to ensure it is delivered.

I would urge you to please respond to us in time before we file a missing report and make the team involved on this accountable and penalise them.

I had given a document vide AWB No M 45255840 to Juhulane branch, Mumbai on 18/1/17 at 12.15 pm to be delivered at Ahmedabad. It has not reached till 23/1. No one gives any satisfactory reply also.

Pathetic services, non responsive management, irresponsible handling of courier and shameless argument of payment of extra charges to get a speedy 2 day delivery.

My consignment number: K92513115. I had ordered a vedio class from the institute of chartered accountancy caclub & the courier has been sent to my address as no one was there at home DTDC people without even calling me have returned the courier back. Now when I call no one is responding & I don't even know where is my courier as the tracking address is not updated. Neither institution people have received it. This is the most ridiculous response I have ever got from madivala dtdc people. Kindly resolve the issue earlier or else I will take up the same to higher authorities.

I sent a courier through DTDC PLUS service (one day delivery) from Kolkata to Bangalore. It supposed to reach to the destination (Bangalore, PIN-560037) by the end of business hours (6 PM) today, but not yet reached. I tried to track the consignment no. V33404405 via online as well as SMS, but there is no status update logged at all. DTDC is cheating with the common citizens. They don't have the minimal professionalism towards the paid service being a registered courier service provider. I would like to request everyone to stop taking their service. They are liable to pay the penalty as ten times of the courier charge. I believe commitment is the main key for a courier service, DTDC don't have that. Government should revoke their registration.

We had submitted a package to be delivered under one day deliver on 18th Jan 2017. It was not delivered even till 20th jan by 6pm. When we called the courier guy, he behaved in a very rude manner and lied that he as delivered. He also said that do not dare to call me again. This is pathetic. What kind of employees do you hire. Me and people in my circle will refrain from using DTDC again.

DTDC courier service shows under its tracking tab that the parcel has been delivered. But the actual status is that the parcel has not been delivered yet. DTDC representative executives have been highly unprofessional in resolving the issue. They are redirecting me to different contact persons every time I explain the issue on hand. My tracking number is Z11109614. Kindly resolve the issue at the earliest.

I have send a courier on 07/01/2017 vide tracking no is - D32139047. But I am wrongly entered the pin number 500002 instead of 560002. So I had lodged a request for this to forward to pin 560002 (case no[protected] but still now courier not delivered.

I ari sudan kumar and i courier some important documents by dtdc on 10/01/2017 from nehru vihar new delhi to gurgaon and the consignment no. is Z08845671 and they dont deliver the document to the given address i also talk to the customer care they dont take any action and from 8 days they donot update the status of my courier and the last status of the courier is 11/01/17 so pls take some action to dtdc courier service so they deliver my consignment to the given address thanks

I have booked a parcel of documents with a consignment no V33685525 on 16-01-17 from nellore, to hyderabad in an urgency mode package. to day is[protected]:37 pm still shipment was not delivered. they have collected extra charges more than usual charges, and they assured me that the parcel will be delivered in the next business day officer hours, with out fail. but it was not done. i have tried their customer care number of times. it was ringing but no one answered. this is a most irresponsible and cheating activity towards customers. worst service i have never seen.

This is to inform you all people that this DTDC is such a thakela courriers service that it takes 20 days to deliver its product within india. thanks god i have not dealt with this company for international services otherwise it would have taken months to deliver it products.
i have order a sari from mirraw onlines services and they told me that it is with dtdc for past 15 days. still they are delivering it. the details are as follows

I was to receive a courier from Delhi with tracking no p39605517 posted on 7th January and it reached Hyderabad on 10 th January but was not being delivered and I send them a tweet saying the same on 13 th and the shipment was out for delivery around 1 pm. I was at home waiting the whole day to receive the parcel, but to my surprise when I checked the tracking info around 8 pm I found that my parcel was already delivered. I made a complaint to dtdc they said because of Sankranthi there will be 2 day holiday and the complaint will be resolved by 15 th January, I also made same complaint via twitter to them but till date no response from them. And once they twitted me saying the parcel is already delivered and signed. Does it mean if they deliver it to anyone and anyone would sign and take the parcel. What is the purpose of the sign??? They said it is already delivered. AND THIS IS NOT THE VERY FIRST TIME WITH DTDC. Not trustworthy at all. I would say the bosses of the dtdc to change the management. I have lost faith with DTDC. Guys I highly suggest to avoid DTDC. Today they have lost my parcel, tomorrow that parcel could be of high value. They are not able to solve my parcel that is worth 100 rs, what will they solve that high priced valued parcel if lost. They will just say it was received and signed sir. #BanDTDC

Have lodged a complaint but have got no response except verbal assurance that the matter would be looked into.
My child had to attend a wedding and this lehenga was brought and parcelled and couriered by me only to my daughter who stays in a hostel.

My consignment was dispatched from bhopal on 10 Jan. Still not received. Even local courier point had received on 16th as confirmed by jaipur dtdc office.when I talked today to local courier point Mr.pankaj abused and misbehaved with me.he gave me reason to undelivered consignment that is llocked address.hence this address is a office which never can close between 8 to 8.Pl look the issue and resolve. And Pl teach to Mr. Pankaj jain on customer service. And I need apologise letter from him on his misbehaving.

My consignment # is z09360320. Yesterday the courier person called me and he said he is not ready to deliver the item to my home and rather he asked me to come and collect the item from their office Its so disgusting that the way the person talked to me. i would like to raise an official complaint in DoT if i wouldn't get the item in 1 day time. Request you to take disciplinary actions against the franchisee.

I order Power bank on ebay and in tracking details showing that Parcel deliver through DTDC Courier Company and my airway bill number is P40871385 and on dtdc's website showing that parcel was delivered but they don't delivered my parcel to me.

The Courier Comapany was not Contacted me for delivery of my Parcel then i checked on their website and it showing the parcel was delivered but they are not contacting me about delivery of my parcel then how it delivered to me ?
i can't understand i want my Parcel will deliver to me !

I have been a victim of pathetic service of DTDC. My consignment was registered under tracking id V32800357 which was scheduled to deliver to my address at Soyatkalan, Dist. Agar-Malwa, M.P.(465449) within 5 days as promised by them. Then i was given another tracking no which was Z02053706. It was registered on 24th of December and today is 16th January, i.e. it has been more than 20 days and i have no clue about my consignment. One thing is sure that they are not going to deliver to my address as they mentioned that my area is not under their service area, which ironically they were not able to check when the consignment was booked that too in their express service for which they charged 300 INR. I even register a complaint on 10th of January on their website and after mailing them 3-4 times i got a mail on 12th January informing that my case has been closed and the return shipment has been delivered. Now after 4 days i am still not getting answer about my consignment. Today i visited their office and informed that my consignment if still lying in their Delhi office. I am done with DTDC.
