Dear Sir,

I want to draw your attention regarding an incident that I have recently faced with DTDC courier services. It was an awful experience with them and seems they are making unethical business here.

This is regarding my DTDC Consignment Number: K93750785 and
DTDC Case Number : 05224976

There are lots of reasons associated regarding my grievance-

1. The office staff checked the recipient address with pin code and confirmed that it will be delivered there at earliest possible.

When the expected delivery date passed I came to know that delivery failed as destination is a non serviceable area.
And this decision has been taken in a location (location have different PIN code from destination PIN code) which is 70.2 Km away from destination.

I think they should take this kind of decision before taking the assignment not in middle way. I lost many days for this although it is a urgent delivery.

2. When I asked for refund (courier charges) they said it is non refundable and then they returned my product to me.

3. Forget about home delivery, my expectation was courier guys at least will reach the area having destination PIN code and will ask us to get it from there but sorry to say this has not happened. No comopromisation happened from them.
So,
why did they take my assignment?
why did they calculate the courier charges, generates bill, took money from me and confirm that destination area is a service able area?
Later refuse to return money stating destination area is non serviceable area.

4. The worst part is DTDC *customer service *,
To get proper justice, I had written a mail to customer support and Case Number : 05224976 had been auto/system generated for this.
But the support guy (Pradito Mukherjee GTACCU) made a fun of this. In spite of regular update (proof attached) the guy close that case stating 'no update from my side'.
Which is not the actual case. He was intentionally ignoring my mails.
I have no undelivered mail information in my G-mail box.

4. In last 7-8 days I continuously tried to reach our regional DTDC customer support office (DTDC Kolkata)

Sir/madam, I want to let u know that Dtdc services in srinagar are very poor as a consignment of mine bearing tracking NO. D32368120 has been held at Delhi airport since two days and the concerned authorities at karan Nagar are revealing that they have no information regarding same which is very unfortunate and unacceptable...please look into the matter and get back to me as soon as possible.

A parcel has been sent from VILEPARLE (TEJPAL ROAD) - MUMBAI to Bhopal on 28th December 2016.
Tracking number of parcel is M45202508.
It was my online order and my customer is not accepting that she received it therefore i have to submit proof of delivery to higher authority.

Extremely poor Quality Courier Service!!! If this is "Ïndia's most Preferred Courier Company", then India is solely lacking in quality couriers!!! Go for FEDEX or DHL anyday!!!
I sent a 1 page international courier from India to Australia on 30.12.16 (Reference Number: N[protected] which I was advised would reach it's destination within 4 working days, namely 3.1.17. Tracking the service online showed that 6 days later, my courier is still floating around India, only to them be advised by their "'Online Support Agent Rocky" that it will reach Australia another 6 days later - basically 10 days after it was sent! When asked for DTDC Customer Service Manager's contact number, our dear support agent Rocky did the disappearing act! Customer reviews online for DTDC Margao Goa Branch (above Mabai Hotel) are extremely poor - they don't respond to phone calls, make false claims of delivery dates & times & ARE TOTALLY UNRELIABLE!!! Sat in the office for 2.5hrs demanding for a refund - was rudely spoken to by their so called customer service rep! After constant questioning was told a whole bunch of lies which was fortunately spotted & identified. Finally obtained my refund when I refused to leave the office. The Margao Goa DTDC franchises are a BIG Joke - The Indian Postal Service is faster! These dodgy franchises needs to be shut down!!!

So unless you've got a stash of money to throw around, don't need your parcels to be delivered on time & generally don't care if they are delivered at all, enjoy poor customer service & don't mind their customer centres that don't answer calls, then by all means DTDC is the way to go!

I've been continuously sending mails to get my consignment as when it was tried to be delivered at the first instance, nobody was available at my home. I didn't get a call regarding the same. Now, from the past one week I'm trying to contact the people through phone/mails, but either they are not responding or putting things onto the other person. Please help me to get to know when can I get my package. Case Number 05413120 has already been opened for my concern in case you want to know the complete history. Please let me know how would I get my package.

Today i received a docket no.D29530430 via DTDC courier service and the packing of the box is not in the condition as it was packed by the person who dispatched it. The packing tape was shaky in condition and after that I demand it for open delivery but the courier boy refused to do the same so I put the remark on POD i.e. TEMPERED PACKET RECEIVED..SHORT QUANTITY RECEIVED (POSSIBILITY).
Please look into this issue and resolve as soon as possible.

Courier not delivered
We are using dtdc for courier services and they delivered very well but this time we book a consignement z03107320 from sahidabad (Delhi) for nagpur on 01/12/2016. The courier is not yet delivered and in tracking it shows already delived on 03/12/2016 and said that it is receied by employee. As it was the individual courier then how can any employee receied and stamped on it. Again the contact numbers provided on the site are not working. I tried all the numbers but it cant get connected. The courier contained the certificate which is very important to me. If this problem is not solved i must have to go to consumer court against the company.

Upon receipt of my consignment, if found that the contents are completely damaged & unusable.
I am enclosing photographs of the damaged package and its contents, from which it is clearly visible that the packet was damaged during handling and repacked with tape before delivery.

My consignment contained medicines & other items worth INR 950. Additionally I paid INR 270 for handling & Delivery. I demand a complete refund of INR 1220(value of goods + Shipping & handling) since the damage occurred under DTDC's handling.

I am from Indore, I had booked a courier to Gujarat from Indore on[protected], It was booked on urgent basis and i was assured by your courier guy that it will get delivered within next three days, But after hundred's of follow up and several reminder's the courier guy was unable to give any satisfactory reply that where is my courier the status of it whatsoever, the courier contained important documents of mine which had to be delivered and that is the reason that i chose DTDC courier as for the service, but i am so disappointed in it and the only thing i got is mental harrassment, i tried customer complaint & support and that too was unresponsive, the only thing they said is This is not our issue talk to the local guy, after so many follow ups i got the return delivery of that courier yesterday i.e[protected] after a whole month, this wasn;t the service and response i was expecting from a national courier service, Who is responsible for the losses i sufffer? i need serious action for this, so another can suffer as i did, i lost my major business bcz of your non compliance, i am attached the receipt of the courier and my signed receiving date here, i need some satisfactory reply and action on this, i have suffered too much and i am ready to go to consumer court too. My courier with tracking id Z09290697 is still undelivered inspite of reaching in destination city on 29 dec morning.

29, 30, 31, 1, 2 and now 3 jan. Indore(MP) local dtdc team is not delivering the courier from 6 days.

It is not nice thing to hold a highly important document relating to my academics for 5 days at same place and not delivering it.

I ordered a product from amazon india and it was prepaid order. I received a tracking number b41444421, i'm continuously tracking with awb number on dtdc's website. Till last late night status was "in transit" but today 03-jan-2017 status is showing successfully delivered but me or my any family member don't get any courier even not any courier boy came to deliver the product.

I have send an air courier on 27/12/2016 at hyderabad. Its tracking id is d31480904. It should be delivered at sector-80 noida by 31/12/2016.
It's been showing that the courier is rejected because the receiver is unavailable and shop is closed etc., etc., but the shop remained open 24*7 and there is always a security guy to collect these kind of parcels. I would like to know the delay as soon as possible. Other wise you will be facing legal action. Be prepared.

I have ordered an online product from www.magikbox.co.in consignment (M[protected] on December 30, 2016. The item is not yet delivered but the tracking status says it is delivered on January 2, 2017 5:48 PM. I have tried calling the DTDC Hyderabad office, but they aren't answering the call.

Kindly look into this issue.

We send several couriers through DTDC everyday. On Dec 23rd I sent a packet from Haridwar to Meerut. I didn't get any update on the packet till 27th Dec inspite of making several calls to local as well as regional office.

So finally I had to go to the local DTDC office and inquire about the packet. The person in charge at DTDC office agreed to show us the CCTV footage of the day when packet was dispatched. In the video we could see the packet being stolen by one of DTDC employees at other branch.

Name of the person who was caught steeling the package is Sunil who was employed at the Rishikul branch of DTDC in Haridwar.

The person caught in the video was then talked to by the DTDC manager and he admitted to steeling not only that package but several other packages in the past.

This packet was very important for us as it contained several samples that were to be used for manufacturing. This incidence has caused severe damage to our organization.

I have pleased to inform you as consignment booked from hyderabad on 21st Dec'2016 to my address as Ch Venkataramana, 19-4-12, Shirdi Sai Nagar, Gunadala, Vijayawada - 520004 with consingment no.H57890248.

I have received call by mobile no:[protected] from dtdc, Vijayawada on 22nd Dec'2016 informed has to deliver to address but location not identified. I had clearly replied the address and told him that given to my daughter at home due to I am in tour at that time. After 10 minutes he called me again to unable to find the location.

We regret to inform you that we find out as delivery boy not visited the location and called me from another place. I have been trying to get him but didnt pick my call and have been trying to get status from hyderabad, Vijayawada and Banglore also but nobody pick my call since 23rd Dec'2016.
I didn't get neigther my consignment nor information till to now.

I requested you to as take action to deliver my consignment immediately.

Myself dr. Mannu singroha, i sent a packet of some important papers having shipment no. Z09646381 on 22/12/2016 from dtdc booking office luckmow to panipat was not delivered to my friend at given adress. Date of delivery was upto 26 december 2016. From last 28/12/2016 i was talking to some persons working at senior posts in your dtdc network but no one tell me where my packet is??

Sir/mam i request u please took legel actions against this company.

I am writing this regarding my courier (baby product) from Patna to Varanasi on 12th December. When I checked the DTDC website it says the product has been delivered on 19th which is absolutely wrong. No one has received the courier till yet or on 19th December. And when I am contacting Patna customer care number nobody is picking the call. Its very ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

You mentioned in your previous mail that supporting team of yours is looking into the matter, are they seriously? If yes then why I haven't received any mail regarding my complaint? Answer me why your courier delivery guy haven't delivered my product at the mentioned address? Where is my product now ? Are you guys going to solve it or not? Its been more than ten days the courier has been dispatched and not delivered to its respective address, do you think its a joke?

DTDC is really disgusting and worst courier service provider I guess. You don't even reply to a mail not even pick customer's calls. I don't know what is going to happen.

Now do something and looks into the matter seriously. At least give a reply or call me.

My curier no is z05390493. And i did not recieve my curier within last 3 months i m going to police if my curier didnot recieve in 10 day. There is a important document if found please call me [protected]. So that was courier from delhi to patna, my address and contact no is right but i haven't recieve my curier... Please help me. The company was saying me that your courier was returned from here but the delhi, dtdc was saying courier not returned yet
