DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

Hi, I sent a courier from DTDC on 4th of June this year from Pune to Faridkot containing a LED TV and its components. The tracking ID for the courier was D17679245. When the package was delivered, the receiver informed me that the packing was not proper, in fact packing was not even completely sealed and the thermocoal supporting the TV were missing. This caused TV to receive some serious physical damage. The package was sent back to Pune by the receiver at the time of delivery itself complaining that the packing was not proper. When I checked the LED after it was returned, even I can see that the packing was not in proper condition at all. Additionally, at the time of dispatching the courier, I have informed my dealer that the TV was slightly damaged but still want the set to reach the receiver in best state possible. SO, as per their request I also paid the insurance amount of the set. However, due to my surprise when the set was sent back, I checked with my dealer over the bad packing, they seemed quite reluctant over the fact that the TV was already damaged, it was not their mistake that the packing done was not proper and they do not take any liability for fragile item. This came as quite a surprise for me as now I was not able to understand that if the responsibility for fragile item is not taken by DTDC, then why do we pay the insurance amount at the time of dispatching the courier. Anyways, I still feel that at the minimum the packing of the courier should have been proper and there should not have been any item from inside the packet missing. I request you to kindly look into the matter and inform me if I am eligible for obtaining the insurance amount. Also, I mailed the complain to css.[protected]@dtdc.com on 11th July received any yet. Please help. P.S. I am not collecting my before situation is answered properly.

I was supposed to receive the consignment mailed through DTDCcompany but have NOT received it.The AWB# is X08927128.and when I checked the status online, its showing delivered on11th July and I have not received it. So when I asked them to send screen shot of document acknowledgement, dtdc did not even reply to it.

Hi, My Friend send one pack from KHARSIA - BILASPUR to Hyderabad with tracking number- M07836412. But that courier went to Mumbai with IN TRANSIT status. It's Almost 20 days over. Can any one help me in tracking and reaching the item to the destination as mentioned on the courier.

I sent a Courier from Chennai to Thanjavur, No: C54533383 ... I got call from the thanjavur DTDC couier office to come and collect. I said i am in chennai and deliver to the address. when i said you must have informed me prior to booking, He was very rude and said he cannot deliver to this location. Moreover he said, do whatever you want and "I will not deliver this courier".. I am Deeply Hurt with the responce and i promise that i will never use DTDC Again and i am literally stunned by your service.. Please do not make false promises and waste our money.

Lousy website, lousier service levels and the lousiest Courier Company operating in India. A package booked in Delhi on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 (AWB # Z[protected] has not been delivered, as yet (Monday, July 28, 2014), to the addressee. Stick an ordinary Rs. 5/- postage stamp and send by ordinary post, it would have reached by this time. They will blame it saying that if you had opted for the Premium service, the package would have been delivered. This is a complete rip-off and a fraud on Customers. Strongly recommend to avoid DTDC Couriers.

Hi Guys We had ordered a product form amazon.com to be delivered at door steps. This also included the shipping cost. They are requesting for extra charges to be delivered at home and rude in conversation with us. Even thought our house resides in there circle less than 3 Km from their office. They were rude in conversation, as if we were some kind of insects that to ladies <My mother>. It’s really pathetic to hear such kind of response from the service oriented company. A parcel booked on 18th july from bangalore. But even after 8 days i have not received my parcel. The status shows that on 19th jul the parcel was arrived at bhubaneswar DTDC APEX . From 19th july to today 26 th july there is no status update of the parcel and i have not received my parcel yet. i am very disappointed on the service. I have not recieved my courier yet having z27430172, it was out for delivery from 21st, when I called customer care, i have not get a proper answer. The have given me 3 number to contact and when I called those numbers its not in service. Please help me to get my parcel

Parcel has been sent to me with no. Z28256085 on 19 july from Delhi and still it has not been delivered whereas it has scheduled to deliver on Monday .This is my 1st experience with DTDC and if the situation remain same then I won't going to recommend it.Do something asap

hi their, i have booked a consignment with number "D18285538" from bhimavaram to gurgoan. the delivary of the consignment should be on 21/7/2014 but when i go and check in the website if the consignment has been delivered or not it says "Out For Delivary" till date it says the same thing but the consignment has not been delivered. when i give a call to your representative they dont even answer the call. i have called them for 10times or even more lucky by gods grace i was able to speak to one of your representative .she gave me a complaint number i.e "i2307136". i request you to please take the complaint and resolve the matter asap. i am going to keep this one copy with me so that if you cant help me out i will have to reach the media. please dont put me in trouble. I had wrote a complaint previously as follows

" I had ordered one laptop charger from the above company. The charger showed problem after some time. Since it was under warranty, I send it to them for getting a new charger. Then they said that they have sent the charger through "dtdc courier" in 4th Jun 2014 but it never reached. I tried to contact with them and also the courier service many times but no advancements occurred. Please tell me what can I do legally to get my product back."

I found that they have lost the charger and the company "laptopcharger.com" their e-mail id is "[protected]@laptopcharger.com" that they are not doing anything. Since I am not the sender I cant ask for refund but the company can. My college has started and I am in trouble. They are not responding to my calls also to my e-mails. I want them to send me another charger within 2 to 3 days. My father is telling me to buy another charger which will cost almost 1000. They are too careless. Do something legally. They won't even respond to your e-mail.

Dear Concerned, Our clients had sent important documents through DTDC via docket number M05731584 from Mumbai to Khatraj, Kalol, Gujarat on 02.06.14. We consistently tried to track the same online but unfortunately were never able to locate the same even after 10 days from the date courier was sent. DTDC being an reputed courier service we had asked our client to courier the same via DTDC. But to our surprise after so many days we have not received the courier and no one from their head office replied responsibly for the status. After so many calls to their Ashram Road Ahmedabad office, we were able to have a word with some of their employee who gave contact details of Gota branch, during follow up with Gota branch we were informed the courier will arrive on 11th, but still it never came. Then after some days during follow up they told that the delivery boy met with an accident so all the couriers got lost. This excuse is totally not acceptable, how can DTDC can wash their hands in such a case. Our documents were also very important and no one from DTDC is showing responsibility to answer us and tell us the proper solution for the matter. The courier is dispatched on 15th may 2014 from chennai but I haven’t received yet.. In portal status is shows delivered . When i spoke to them they says courier was misrouting to somewhere which cannot be handed over again. The content was original convocation certificates and 5k worth watch. i have lost my abroad oppurtunies because of the non-delivery and their irresponsibility. Can you please help me out. Dear all, Our Coporate office (ING VYSYA BANK, Banglore) dispatched consignment on 19/06/2014 through DTDC Courier no D15262223, but same has not been received till date, as we have track from POD and same was hold in Amritsar DTDC Branch, as we are talking to BH Mr Manish Sharma (Mo [protected]) about this consignment, he talk very rudely with us, now we are going to escalate the matter with our corporate office for delaying your courier service and misbehaving.
