I had booked a parcel from kakkanad, kochi to be delvered to pamela banerjee howrah, west bengal, which consisted of a sari, a blouse and a neck lace. Since I wanted an urgent delivery I booked in dtdc plus which is supposed to delivery in 48 hours. The consignment was booked on the 9th of july V17723692 as the consignment number, charging me Rs 765 . However I am still awaiting the delivery. I am humiliated at not being able to meet the promise of delivering the parcel in the sid date, inspite of paying for the service almost double of normal charges. To add to my misery the tracking site would not open nor would the customer care pick the phone call.I am just lurking out in the dark.

Hi, This is regarding Consignment number V17718440, dated 2nd july 2014 sent from pune to jammu.It has still not been received at the destination. A call was placed to check the status & was communicated that it needs to be collected from the branch. The concerned person went to the branch & tried to reach customer care couple of times with no response. The packet contained medicines which were significant to reach on time.Looking at the history of dtdc i had kept a buffer time for the delay.BUt it seems that was not sufficient. The DTDC Courier is delaying in delivering my parcel. ( DTDC Docket number: X[protected].

Actual delivery date was 25th/Or 27th June’ 2014. However, till now they didn’t delivered the parcel to my address. When I called them, they gave me a phone of person who can deliver the parcel, when I called that person – he said to call to the Head Office, again when I called Head Office – they again said to call that person only. They are making me run around.

I have been calling to them but there is no response from their side. I am only calling them, but I never received an email or Call from DTDC regarding my parcel and its status of delivery. This is how they are doing with the customers.

Please take ACTION against DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd

DTDC Ashram road branch are not able to found address in Ranip Area. they had returned parcel after two day with comment of "address not found" without any call or attempts. very pathetic service from dtdc, even i had never received parcel at my place in last one year, i was always collecting parcel from ashram road office. this time i was not able to collect from office so it was returned.

We booked a parcel by courier at kakinada vide consignment no d17866910 on 30 jun 2014. Indication given was that it would reach hyderabad by 2 july. As per status it reached hyderabad on 2 july, but it is yet to be delivered to the addressee. It is already five days in hyderabad and not yet delivered to the addressee in hyderabad. How many more days does it need, we can not be sure.

Dear Sir, I had sent an envelope, containing some important documents to Gurgaon vide DTDC docket no. Z25230691 dated 30th July-14 from Varanasi. Though, as per the tracking report through net, it showed that courier reached Gurgaon on 3rd July-14 and out for delivery, but still it has not been delivered to the addressee. I, on behalf of my Co., send lot of documents through DTDC courier on regular basis since last 3 years. I have experienced that many a occasions couriers delivered abysmally late which are not at all desirable. This consignment is a important one, which should have been delivered in time. I booked a parcel at Electronic city Bangalore to be delivered at Banwrghatta road of same city hardly a distance of 5 kms. Its been a week now and its still undelivered. I have already lost 50 thousand rupees due to my parcwl not reaching on time. Dtdc has undoubtely the most pathetic, actually non existent customer care ever by any company. The local franchisee office only knows to track the consignment on internet ans read you out the status. "Sar, its saying in transit only. It will dafinitely reach tomorrow. Maybe it was raining yasterday". Stupid lady does not understand its been 7 days now and its never rained since last month. I took a look at her screen and noticed the status reads deatination is Hyderabad instead of Bangalore !!! I point that mistake out and guess what stupid lady says " How can that be Sar? Maybe u written the destination below the from address". Guess what stupid lady both the to and from is Bangalore, where the hell did Hyderabad come in? She tried calling several numbers but not a single one answered. "Sar i will get back to you once i get any uipdate. I am only one person handling evertything". Exactly trhe same dialog i heard her tell multiple irate customers during my presence in the office. I decided to do some calling myaelf to the bangalore master franchisee at madiwala, head office at victoria road, customer care, etc . Not a single of the dozen numbers i called was answerd. Some just kwpt ringing, some had imaginary cs reps busy with othee customers, etc wtc. DTDC sucks, seriously the worst ever swrvice

Hi, I sent a courier from bangalore to hyderabad on, 30 jue 2014, which is supposed to be delivered on 1 july on urgent basis. Status is showing as delivered, but either the security or the person to be received not received yet. What action Could I take? I can't even trace the important original documents. Dear Sir,

I received a medicine parcel from Hyderabad vide docket no. H 30856465 sent on 1/7/2014 by MARS THERAPEUTICS & CHEMICALS LIMITED. The parcel was received at Dhanbad office on 4/7/2014 as per tracking and also as confirmed by the local DTDC Office. The did not care to deliver the medicines although I telephonically requested them to deliver the medicines as it was Urgent. After many reminders, at last i had to get it picked up from their office at 8 PM by sending my staff as they did not care to deliver & said today being saturday, it would only be delivered on Monday. all 3-4 offices in dhanbad were shrugging their responsibility saying it was their sub franchisee who was supposed to do it.

I, am a Doctor by profession and in spite of my personal request they did not care.
This sort of a careless attitude is highly objectionable from a reputed courier like Dtdc.
all responsible people must be punished & the franchisee being incompetant should be terminated

I had a courier from India. Consignment number[protected]..I have got a call from DTDC guy from London heathrow office and he told me that ht postcode on the courier is wrong and therefore we need 10 pound to send it back to you. I have consider it might happen as a human error and given them different address to deliver item to my home and they took 10 pound from account. After 3-4 days, i have recived the parcel at same address which they told was incorrect and I have not corrected the address as I have given them different address. Its a clear case of cheating and I'm looking for my money back. Please help.

On 25.06.2014 by R No 5095866 of the DTDC Marine Drive Br. I booked a Court order addressed to Mr. K.Haridas Advocate Pathanamthitta. But To my desmay it was delivered only on 28.06. at 3 pm after repeated enquires and follow up from the morning onwards. Sine I am a lawyer practicing at Kerala High Court, I was of the opinion that he DTDC which has a counter at Kerala High Court provided by the Bar Association is convenient. But it is not the first instance. There are several complaints from the Advocates, that the service is very poor and in may case, the party could not be released from jail in time . My client could be released only on 30.06.2014 even though he got bail from the high Court on 24.06.2014. The delay in service is a clear deficiency in service and I has advised my client to approach appropriate forum for his redressal against the company. Adv. K.N. Radhakrishnan

Dear sir, this is to inform you that on oct-2013 Ms-Sky automobiles sended a letter through DTDC courier. Having docket No-K69671729 Booking place was CUTTACK, Odisha pin-753011 Destination was at Dist-bolangir State-Odisha Pin-767001. Surprising thing is that today I have Received it after waiting of 8monts & they did not inform me for take it when I was goes to DTDC office for other work at that time they were given me. There were a chque inside the packet and were necessary to delivered within 10days Due to this negligence I had to bear the losses in monetary terms.i have loses Rs.1320 due to chque bounce Therefore, I requesting your higher authority to kindly look into this genuine facts and action may kindly be taken. This is the 2nd time I had bad experience with your courier service at PERUNGUDI, Chennai branch .

Suppose to deliver my Royal sundaram Insurance documents to me on 28.06.2014. The documents reached DTDC on 24.06.2014. I got updated your door was locked on 28.06.2014, but we were at our home only . Then I call DTDC to deliver on 30.06.2014 but they didn't deliver till 02.07.2014.

I went to directly to your PERUNGUDI Branch, I asked a Old man to check my Tracking no C54571266, immediately he simply said can't check . I told him how come you say my door locked on 28.06.2014 even My watchman was there and my wife was at home ?

He replied rudely and he didn't know how to behave in front of customer .

This is not the first time, This is the 2nd time I had bad experience with the same man in this branch .

Today final they delivered the documents and My wife asked the delivery man Did you come on 28.06.2014, he said just I came and check the next house ? I don't believe he came on that day .

I feel very good service at the courier service like Professional courier .

My DTDC parcel with consignment no -D18214070 was in torn and opened condition on delivery. It was booked from Delhi to Kashmir. Following items are mising from the parcel: Perfume worth 5000, Ladies dress, gents vest coat, kids shirt & pant, Gents T shirt. It was opened up at custom department SRG Airport.

This is to draw attention to the unsatisfactory courier service by your company. My father had handed over a parcel having consignment no. Z23251486 on 18th June 2014 (Wednesday) at Faridabad office. It was assured that the parcel will reach Hyderabad within 3 business days.

I received an message on 27th June 2014 from your employee that I can collect the parcel from main gate of my college, IBS Hyderabad, at 10 am. He also mentioned that it was a 'no service area' hence diplomatic charges are applicable. You should mention about the no service area while taking the parcel.

On 28th June 2014, I called all the courier service centers in my area enquiring about the parcel. The attitude of the service providers was not only unresponsive but they tried to neglect all my calls as much as possible. They came around 11:40 am. They asked for diplomatic charges and I paid him Rs. 50.

The parcel that I received was torn and taped, as I opened it. I noticed that one of the contents was missing i.e. my pen drive which had extremely important data. I immediately contacted the parcel-man but he didn't respond.

This kind of instance has lead to lack of trust with your organisation and never to use your services again. What can you do in such incidence?How do you follow up the stolen stuff? Can you track where exactly the parcel was opened and stuff stolen?

I am sorry to inform you that such negligent and unprofessional behavior was not expected from an established company like yours.

I would appreciate your co-operation to solve the issue, otherwise, I have to lodge a complaint against DTDC employees for mishandling and stealing the material from my courier. No co-operation from your end will only add to the agony and I have to move to Consumer court in such a case.

This is Susanta kumar from Hyderabad/ Gowliduddy made a consignment from Hyderabad to Bangalore containing a mobile costs 2000 INR of consignment no D16685126 on 22/02/2014 not delivered till 10/03/2014. After this date i checked with the concerened dtdc office regarding delivery they told its lost so i have to go for claim. I filled all the claim form on 18/03/2014 still now I didnot get my claim amount and nobody is picking my call and they are telling stories every time i am visiting to the dtdc office . I need my claim amount ASAP.

This courier was dispatched through DTDC on 17th June’14, Tuesday from KESTOPUR – KOLKATA... Yet to be delivered. Destination Address: To, Mr. Mukesh, Works Manager, Saraswati Component Motors Pvt. I have used the service of DTDC to send my important document on 18th June, 2014 (consignment number - H[protected]. The courier was promised to be reached by saturday i.e on 18th. I have visited the online website of DTDC to track the consignment - the website is down since then till date. On 21st i have visited the dtdc office and they said the courier is with held and as the reciever is shifted from the address, but the address was right and the reciever was residing in the same address. The reciever didnt get any phone call as well from the courier boy. Today i.e. 25 june i have visited the dtdc office in madhapur hyderabad and i had the worst experience there in the dtdc office by the staff, they were not responsive, irresponsible, and rude to me (customer) and they have started hot arguement with me. They noted down the address and tracking number and till now there is no update oon status, it has been 8 days that i have sent it to DTDC, awaiting for my important document to deliver safely.

Parcel undelivered but not returned
C/no-d17622122 was booked on 12/6/2014 for pune, promised to deliver on 14/6/2014 but attemted only on 18/06/2014. But recipient left pune. I send mail & sms for return but not yet returned back till 25/6/2014. Pl look into it.Mental agony for return of valuables & harassment.

It is indeed very unfortunate that an organization which is set up for servicing customers is so highly dispassionate about customer service. This consignment (Consignment No K[protected] was despatched on the 19th of June 2014 and leave alone having the same delivered, I have yet to receive a revert on the email below. Have tried calling your Gurgaon office & Delhi office numbers incessantly this afternoon to no avail ( there has been no response to the phone calls). The mentioned consignment number had very important documents that are pertaining to my deceased mother’s last wish. But of course, that would not matter to a company like yours.
