I had booked a courier from Mumbai on 27th of august 2010, through DTDC with my Reference No. being AWB No. 12647898 . I had booked the consignment with them on a pre-condition that the same would be delivered at Indore on 28th of August 2010. After receiving all the confirmations that the same would be delivered on 28th, i booked the same with them. On 28th of august, i receive a call from the franchisee with whom i booked the same that the consignment has not been shipped and would be delivered on 30th of august as it was off loaded from the aircraft. After several request to get the same delivered, the franchisee asks me to connect to the RM of DTDC. To my surprise, the RM Mr. V.K.Gambhir says that we can not own an airline for your courier services and speaking in a demeaning manner.
The RM spoke to me in a disrespectful manner saying " yeh 30th ko hi deliver hoga, jo kar sakte ho kar lo". After several request the RM says i will try to get the courier delivered on 29th. I request him to deliver the same by 29th early morning. After calling several times, finally the RM considers sane enough to respond to my call and says that he will try to deliver the same by 1.00 pm on 29th. To this i reply to him saying its gonna be of no value to me. I try callin them several times through out the day again in vain as they do no consider it sane enough to respond to my call. Finally after several calling again they do respond to my calls and mr. V.K. Gambhir replies that since i said that i would be of no value for me, to get the courier delivered by 1.00 pm, he did not get the courier delivered and did not make any attempt to get the courier delivered and would not do so by monday and uttering disrespectful words and treating me like a beggar.
The courier had to be delivered to U.S through a friend of mine. the purpose of which has failed. This is an example of a very pathetic and unorgainsed service where instead of making an effort to cover up and serve the customer they have done it other way round by cuasing frustration anger and unnecessary trouble to the customer.
I request the senior vice president Mr S.K.Mukhopadhyay and Vice President Mr. Shree dhar R to respond to this and hire executives who can atleat respect people and have some dignity when they respond to consumers complaints and not dis regard them and abuse them. I sincerely request them to repsond to the greivance.This is not the way you treat your customers and provide servces. And I seek an apology from the RM Mr. V.K. Gambhir for abusing me and uttering all the disresectful words.
