A consignment from ICfAI university Press was sent to my lucknow address by DTDC courier company on dated 23rd july 2010. till now i have not received the consignment. the Tracking facility in website of DTDC shows that it has been delivered.

FROM CONSIGNMENT NO D03637241, WE HAVE REVIVED OUR GOODS IN VERY BAD CONDITION WHEN I COMPLAIN TO LOCAL OFFICE THEY DIDNOT CARE ABOUT IT,AND I HAVE TAKEN A SIGN ON THE BACK SIDE OF CONSIGNMENT WITH THE DELEIVERY MAN, AND AFTER THAT I MAKE A COMPLAIN ON COMPANY SITE WITH COMPLAIN NO:FDB0047274,AGAIN CFD0034297 AGAIN TODAY FDB0049935, BUT THERE ARE NOT ANY RESPONSE FROM COMPANY REGIONAL OFFICE AND LOCAL OFFICE.

I wanted to send my mother's hospital discharge certificate for Rs. 17,000 from Mysore to my brother in Bangalore to make a claim. I booked the packet at DTDC (Near Jaganmohan Palace, Mysore ) No. B65019515 on 6/8/2010. This was not delivered to my brother, at Central College, Bangalore. So I lodged a complaint at the same place on 20/8/2010. After several days, and three visits, they informed me that the letter was delivered. After checking with my brother, I informed him that he has not received it. He gave me another number and after enquiry, a lady sent me the copy of delivery note by e-mail (26/8/2010) saying that the letter was delivered. After checking again, I informed that the letter was not received by my bother. So the proprietor gave me the number of DTDC in-charge of Mysore City. After many calls and several days, he informed me that the letter was delivered to a wrong address in Bangalore. I requested him to collect back the letter and deliver because the last date for claiming the amount will come to an end. I made more than 20 calls to both these people but so far (after 2 months and 12 days), the DTDC has not delivered the letter to my brother. In the mean-time, my brother had calls from incharge of Bangalore DTDC who said that a mistake has happened, he will deliver the letter on Monday, but so far (one week is over), the letter remains undelivered and I am going to lose Rs. 17,000 because of the blunder by the DTDC. Both these people have STOPPED RECEIVED MY PHONE CALLS and not answering sms. I am helpless at the hands of DTDC. What action should I take?

i was booked my important documents at DTDC courier service at 21/8/2010..from kolkata to pune...but those docs documents are reached to the destination..i am sending more mails to all DTDC branches in pune and kolkata..but i am not getting any response from their side...upto now i did't know where is my documents...my shipment number is k42629166...they are providing bad services ...so how can put case on them in forum court...please take certain action on responsible person...

One of my contacts had sent two pen drives with some crucial data in it and the consignment was sent on 10th Sept, 2010 from Bangalore. I received the consignment on 15th of September at my Kurali address and one of the two pen drives was stolen. Though all the articles in the packet were claimed and I also received a commercial invoice copy stating that there were two pen drives, but I received just one of them. The packet was cut and opened up by a blade and was packed again with a tape. This is just not done. All my critical data and my expensive 4GB pen drive have been filched by these DTDC people. I am seriously not going to use this crook service provider for sending any courier packets.

I booked a courier from Bhagalpur to Jhajha on 20/8/10 with reciept No. K42885338.

Courier contains my valuable things due to which i am suffering from financial losses.

I made several communication to local DTDC office on phone no.[protected] ,Patna office on Phone no.[protected]/ [protected] and website complain with complain no. CFD0034973 on 7th September.

Till time i get no response from DTDC as i mailed my complain also.
Above local office and Patna office are providing me misleading information and giving me assurance for soon delivery.

I request please take necessary action.

I have booked a packet containing some important documents on 20/08/2010 at DTDC Courier (Babunia More office) weighed 2.150 kg and they charged me Rs. 360. My consignment no. is "K43021784". Hence the package is to be delivered in HISAR (Haryana). But till now there is no trace of that package. Even the tracking system of DTDC Courier company is not providing any suitable information and there is no details available on the website of DTDC. Please take a severe action against DTDC.

Dear Sir
I've send my courier from Dehradun to lucknow. I've booked it on 3rd Sept. & Doc. No.is-F05259847. There was some very important documents for which they've assured me that it'll deliver on Monday 6th sept.when I contacted to my office they informed me that they've not recieved the courier. I started follow-up with Dehradun branch they again assured me it'll deliever today it has reached Lucknow even they've told me to contact Lucknow office and gave me Tel. No. of the same. I've tried on these Tel No's[protected]/42 atleast >80 times but no one picked up the phone. I again called up to Dehradun office now they'vestopped picking up my phone. Today agin when I contacted to customer care they've responded that first time this matter is coming into their notice and they'll revert back to me within an hour, but no one responded back. Continuously I'm contacting but no response I've got. Is this the way of these so called professional couriers working. Now I'm in a loss of Rs 16000/- I'm planning to sue DTDC in consumer court. Moreover in our association I'll ensure that no one deal with this worst courier service.

They got a very bad service..they have delivered my courier to a wrong address and now when i am showing concerned where the courier is delivered they are fooling around and taking no actions against my complaint.its been 2 weeks now bt they dont know where the courier is?The courier and important documents of mine is lost. How can we relie on their service?

I sent a courier on 10th Aug 2010 from Dehradun to Gurgaon via DTDC. It has not reached Gurgaon to date. The Gurgaon DTDC office claims it is delivered but tracking on the net shows 'undelivered'. Their call center have not been able to produce the delivery slip to confirm delivery.
I am at a loss as no one is cooperating with me.

it has been observed from last few months that the deliveries made from nanded are not delivered in time. sometimes it got delayed by 15-20 days even though the couriers/parcel were sent to Mumbai. the most embarrassing situation is that the matter remains idle unless and until we ask the concern franchisee about the non delivery of items and no preventive steps are being taken to avoid recurrence of such incidents.
we are sending invoices by DTDC courier services to head quarters of our airlines customers based at various cities in India and from last few months we are continuously receiving complaints for the delay in receipt of invoices. this matter was taken up at local level franchisee but no improvement happened so far. delay in delivery of invoices is causing loss of revenues and that is very serious matter.

Dear sir,
I have book one packet throught DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. vide their docket no. Z14190464 Dt. 21.08.2010 for Gaziabad. The packet contain important documents (University Exam Form & Original Bank Challan for fees) The packet still not deliver. The last date for submission of documents was 30/08/2010. Because of this delay i have to lose Rs. 700/- and in addition to this i have to suffer mental torture and my career is also effected.
Kindly take the nacessary action against the party.

Dear Sir,

I had booked a courier from Mumbai on 27th of august 2010, through DTDC with my Reference No. being AWB No. 12647898 . I had booked the consignment with them on a pre-condition that the same would be delivered at Indore on 28th of August 2010. After receiving all the confirmations that the same would be delivered on 28th, i booked the same with them. On 28th of august, i receive a call from the franchisee with whom i booked the same that the consignment has not been shipped and would be delivered on 30th of august as it was off loaded from the aircraft. After several request to get the same delivered, the franchisee asks me to connect to the RM of DTDC. To my surprise, the RM Mr. V.K.Gambhir says that we can not own an airline for your courier services and speaking in a demeaning manner.

The RM spoke to me in a disrespectful manner saying " yeh 30th ko hi deliver hoga, jo kar sakte ho kar lo". After several request the RM says i will try to get the courier delivered on 29th. I request him to deliver the same by 29th early morning. After calling several times, finally the RM considers sane enough to respond to my call and says that he will try to deliver the same by 1.00 pm on 29th. To this i reply to him saying its gonna be of no value to me. I try callin them several times through out the day again in vain as they do no consider it sane enough to respond to my call. Finally after several calling again they do respond to my calls and mr. V.K. Gambhir replies that since i said that i would be of no value for me, to get the courier delivered by 1.00 pm, he did not get the courier delivered and did not make any attempt to get the courier delivered and would not do so by monday and uttering disrespectful words and treating me like a beggar.

The courier had to be delivered to U.S through a friend of mine. the purpose of which has failed. This is an example of a very pathetic and unorgainsed service where instead of making an effort to cover up and serve the customer they have done it other way round by cuasing frustration anger and unnecessary trouble to the customer.

I request the senior vice president Mr S.K.Mukhopadhyay and Vice President Mr. Shree dhar R to respond to this and hire executives who can atleat respect people and have some dignity when they respond to consumers complaints and not dis regard them and abuse them. I sincerely request them to repsond to the greivance.This is not the way you treat your customers and provide servces. And I seek an apology from the RM Mr. V.K. Gambhir for abusing me and uttering all the disresectful words.

Hi,
There are 2 consignments sent from BBSR and CTC to Trivandrum with docket number: 43029022 and 42949213 respectively on 16th and 17th Aug 2010. This is still in transit per the site. This is great shame on DTDC which still not delivered the consignments since 10 days. Where as consignment from First flight and Professional courier able to provide the service within 3 working days to Trivandrum destination.

I sent Rakhie on August 18th from DTDC Hyderabad to be delivered to Ranchi .The consignment is still not delivered .The online tracking information displays the status as "INTRASIT.I had called to Main branch of DTDC Ranchi near Overbridge and came to know the consignment has reached last week itself but not yet delivered.

DTDC branch in Ratu road,there is no one whom you can speak.The lady (don't know the name) has no manner how to talk,even when i asked her the reason for delay ,she has just swited off the mobile.

DTDC is the worst courier co. ever .The service is shameful.

It is quite shocking & surprising that these type of companies (DTDC Courier) still exists & doesn't bother about services & consumer complaint.

A packet was booked by me vide No. Z19826539 from Ghaziabad to Manipal on 18th August 2010. As on 23rd August packet was not delivered.

When contacted the customer care on 23rd Morning at 11.30 on customer care No.[protected], got assurance from Geeta that packet will be delivered positively today itself.

As usual it was just a fake assurance, when contacted again at 15:45, Mr. Mohan Raj could not able to provide the where about of the packet & told me to contact Ghaziabad booking branch. When I insisted to lodge my complaint of non- delivery of the packet & provide me Complaint Request No. He gave me Complaint No. 55620. I am not sure whether it is correct or not?
Can anybody will dare to take action on these type of companies who only assures & doesn't delivers. Moreover, they have totally unfriendly, uncooperative customer care centre.

not yet received courier sent from pune on 8th august 2010 till date( 22nd aug 2010), Bhubaneswar branch have no idea, customer care no one one picks up. i have called several times . totally d worst courier i have seen. corporate office phone in bangalore no one receives. even local small courier companies have better service than DTDC. Just brand name but worst service. never send through DTDC, its a suggestion to all my customer friends ever thinking of sending courier then avoid DTDC. Its pathetic and a sick courier service.

I sent one PenDrive through DTDC COURIER & CARGO LIMITED , but in between trnsit They took my pendrive and the Empty Partial was delivered to my home. Please do any action on this.My Consinment No: B63143241. Please Aware all people Don't Sent any Corrier through DTDC COURIER service .

I had sent some very important documents through DTDC courier, which were to be delivered at St. Aloysius High School, 36 Cantts, Kanpur, U.P. As per the tracking number given on the reciept Z17640169 the document supposed to have reached on Aug 14' 2010 at 12:15 p.m. However, when I called the recipient to confirm they say that they did not receive any documents. I therefore request you to advise us as in what step is needed to be taken, the POD is awaited.

I sent a package through DTDC on Aug 12, 2010 to Chennai

It was undelivered and I was not informed

When I called on Aug 16, 2010 their number [protected] to inquire about the package (as it was undelivered) I was informed that the package has not been delivered and has been sent back to Chennai.

Over about 10 phone calls n three days, the lady at DTDC Delhi (munirka) office, Sudha told me that the package will be delivered back to my address as it could not be delivered. They refused any compensation for the waste of my time and money. They told me that if I had to send the package, I will have to send it again and pay the same amount of money.

I asked for my package to be delivered to my house and was told that it shall be done.
However, the package did not arrive. When I called the above number again, Sudha told me that the delivery boy has left it at the cash counter from where I had gotten the courier done as the way to my house was "off-route" for him. I had to personally go and collect my package back from the cash counter.

Hence on spending Rs 60 on the courier and Rs 20-30 on phone calls, is the kind of pathetic service that I should get.

DTDC should stop advertising themselves as reliable deliverers. They are pathetic. And they should compensate for the loss of my time and for not completing the work
