Desirable resolution would be to get the damage of Rs2000 and shipping charge of Rs500 back.
when we called to know what happened they lied that the package was too weak and got damaged while transporting. then they proceeded to wrap the package in a new cover and delivered it. when our client opened it up she found it was damaged by rats. when we called dtdc they said this is normal with food items and there was nothing that can be done. they haven't even replied even after 9 days.

The package was in storage warehouse on a Sunday and the package was damaged completely by rats in the warehouse. the complete package was destroyed resulting in a damage of Rs.2000. the dtdc company is completely responsible for this due to low hygiene levels in the warehouse. I expect a complete refund of the shipment fees and also a reimbursement of my damage of Rs.2000 . Expect a swift resolution to this matter.Else I will be forced to approach the Consumer court to file a complaint stating the above facts with photo evidence.
