I have ordered Portronics USB AC Adapter/Plug 3.4AMP 3 Port USB Charger for Mobiles, Tablets from EBay (Item ID[protected], PaisaPay ID : [protected]) on 28 Feb 2016 and received the shipment on 04 Mar 2016.
On receipt i opened the packing and tested, the charger was not working. I Immediately filed a claim (Claim ID : 1762050) on same day within 15 minutes of receipt.
I received a call from Ebay the next day stating this claim will be rejected as the product is under manufacturer warranty. So i need to contact manufacturer. They were not ready to listen anything from customer.
As the item is not working while it is delivered, the supplier should take responsibility, they should not simply point fingers to manufacturer.
Their web page indicates "EBAY GUARANTEE, 100% Satisfaction or Replacement / Refund". What is the meaning of this. By this statement, they should replace the product at first instance.
If Ebay has this attitude, then in future definitely, i am not going to buy anything from Ebay and certainly many un satisfied customer will switch over to other online shopping sites.
eBay.in customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
