I have received Election card and found the details printed on card are not proper. Later i have consulted E-seva center for correction and here that not possible at present. Please tell me what needs to be done to get the correct details on my election card.

I (tdw3062957) and my mother (tdw[protected] have not received our voter id card though my father received it last month. All three o[censored]s had applied together in July 2009 and when I checked the status on www.mumbaicityelection.org, I got the information above. I have tried calling the local election office (181 - Mahim) but am getting no reply. I tried with election helpline 1290 also but they directed me to local election office....

the voting card is said to be the prime identity proof in india
my compleate address is changed to

which is the wrong address...

my voter id card does not contain proper details
ie improper address and many spelling mistakes

i cant use it as an identity tool
how can i get a new and proper one???

1.My Election Commision Of India Card No.ANR3246808 includes lot many spelling mistakes in the ADDRESS whereas while submitting the form everything was mentioned correctly. I had sent a reqest to returning officer of 49-narnaund assembly for postal ballot through speed post no. SP EH[protected]IN from Head Post Office, rohtak(Haryana) dated 01/10/2009 because i was on duty as presiding officer in election. But there was no response given by the concerced authority. No postal ballot paper was sent to me....
