It is very much regretted that I alongwith my family members, i.e. my wife, my three daughters submitted all the relevent forms on 30/6/2008 for issue of Photo I Cards .Buy till date nothing has happened.

When I contatcted local election commission office in my area i.e in Jhilmil, Delhi-110095, I was asked to resubmitt the photo forms of all the family members which I submitted on 14th july 2009 and was told that my family's I card would be ready by 15th August 2009.

Till today I have not received I Cards.I then again contacted the local election office in Jhilmuil today and I was surprised to note that I have been asked to visit election office alongwith all my family members with proof of residence (Proof of residence is already on record.But it can be again submitted).It is surprising that all my family memberes have to spare the time to visit the election office for collecting the I Cards. It should be the duty of election office that once the I cards are ready these are to be either despatched through courier or should be handed over to any of my family member through some representative.

I request you to please do the needfull at the earliest and oblige.

Again I applied in 2008.
Furhter the Team of Election Commision came and Took Photograph in June 2009. But yet i Didn't received My Election Card.

Dear Concern

I had applied for voter id card in the month of February for me and my wife. Today I have received only my card thru our colony's presswala. He said someone given me this card. my complaints are:

My Voter Id Card No - IMA/0541250.

1. How can you give my card to anyone. It can be misused. Even I dont know how many days presswala kept my card.
2. In my card accept my photo all things are wrong. my name, my fathers name, dob etc.
3. My wife also applied for Voter Id card, but still not received.

Even Im suffering with the same issue. after 1 yr from the date of submission of my application for voter id i received one on which complete details including my name was wrong, then we again requested for rectification and after 4 months i received my Voter id card ie: WFS0220749 on which again all details except my name in Hindi is wrong including my name's spelling in English, father's name, Gender, Date of birth is mentioned as 20/ 20/ 1982, can anybody tell me which is 20th month.

Me alongwith my parents have not received the voter id cards. All o[censored]s have name in voter list. i.e.

1. RAJNEESH KUMAR (Myself)
2. MANOHAR LAL (father)
3. PITAMBARI DEVI (Mother)

We given to local school here and they took our photograph etc. and said it will come within 1-2 months or so. However after one month or so they came back and said your voter id not generated since your photograph taken could not be developed due to some error etc. so will have to give photographs etc. again. Due to negligence at their part we could not receive voter id in time and it is still pending.

Please do the needful so that we can get the voter id earliest.

I am Revathy, at present my age is 21. I am not having Voter Id. Since I was not applied for it. Could you Please help me accordingly. Please guide me to get or apply my Voter ID. My name is Mrs Shashi Sahni R/O D-70, Sector-12 Noida-201301 date of birth 26/12/1951, working with MINISTRY OF FINANCE I have submitted application only once for my voter ID card but I am sorry to inform, I have got two voter id card, (ZYH0040261, issued year 2003 and UP77387021453, issued year 2008) BUT inspite of two card, Since LAST election, when i carried my first issued card along- was into shock and got great surprise to see that my name was not in the list, inspite of thousand reminders to the members there, nothing helped me out and inreturn I came back without getting and perfoming my moral responsibility of being INDIAN. I was being snatched of my HUMAN RIGHTS.

Again, i was into another surprise, when i got another voter id card in 2008 without any request for the same, which means I AM A PROUD INDIAN WITH 2 VOTER ID CARDS BUT ALL USELESS(Great unity among VOTER id issuer and who so ever.) .

Now in 2009, as elections are round the corner, Again this time when my family got all vote given reciepts number, again my name is not included. I am highly frustuated and dont want to miss again my HUMAN Right and request an immediate action as elections is round the corner (MAY 7 2009).

Pls provide me the confirmation of my complaint and time lag to get the correction done..

Also, request you to provide me my correct voter id receipt number and all other required detail.

My name is Karthik VR. I'm residing at 110/99 Rama St, Royapuram, Chennai - 600 013. I have voter ID card. My voter ID card No. FZG3005915. But my name is not there in the list. I was unable to vote due to this problem. I wandered for 2 hours. It become waste. The problem is not only with me. Nearly 40% of the people came there was unable to vote. It includes my family members, neighbors. I don't know what the Election Commission is doing there. If the people cannot vote then why do it conducts Election. Its a waste. I need the Election Commission to conduct re-election.

I am very much unhappy regarding the voters id issued every time i used to subit all my details with all forms and photo needed but still i cant vote bcz i got my voter id in male name as balan but my original name is lavaan.k i have ful rights to file a case on this issue becuse of this issue i am unable to vote this time sorry i am a it professional a well educated is not ale to do anything in this issue means what will be the positon for a lamen? can any one answer for this

There are millians of poor students of class i to xii in india but authorisation have been made to central government employees 1000 Rs per month per child. If this money centrally utalized the approx fifty % children can get free education (including text book, not book, projects and dresses free at school level).
i am also a cetral gov employee. So please take this money and give through school to all children so that all can get benefit of gov money. more than fifty % gov employee did not participate in votes. so for country benefit all students of 1-12 have right to get free education should be provided by you.

Actually my full name is Adarsh P.Sankar as per my other official records, but in the card the name is only 'Adarsh'. Due to this I'm unable to give this as my proof of Identity. What is the actual procedure for changing my name? Your prompt advice will be highly appreciable.

My name is Amar Nath, my voter Id is JBX7560071, voter list no is 189 and my polling booth no is 219, balak madhya vidyalay, punaichak. I went to the polling booth today(07/05/2009) to vote as per article 49-O.when I asked for form 49-O, the presiding officers said that there is no such form 49-O available with them but the maximum I can do is to write in voters list that "I refuse to vote" and the sign beneath it. I did so, I just wanted this to bring into your attention because as per I know I must fill a form 49-O if I want to use my right to not to vote. If I am wrong about this I would like to apologize for taking your precious time..

Specially the followings are the mistakes in Voter ID Card:
Spelling mistake in name, Date of birth error. The question has arised, how can it be resolved by the Government and when and how? Is it necessary to file again new application again for the same. How the people again run behind the government office. Is the fault of the individual? If it government it should be again corrected by the authority it self.
It is observed that my self all information submitted correctly time separately, but that has not been uploaded correctly instead of submitting frequently.
