I had lodged a complaint for the repair of my AC ( 12 SCRLA1/1.0 TON XION MIRROR SPLIT) vide Docket No. EKOL[protected] on 19.08.2014, a mechanic visited and inspected the machine on 21.08.2014 and informed me that the PCB needs replacement and committed to do the job within four days. But to this evening of 26.08.2014 neither the service centre in question MICROLINK o[censored]ttarpara, West Bengal has completed the job nor has the courtesy of informing of the status of the situation.As is normally assumed that the principal(Electrolux) is always responsible for the actions ( in this case 'inaction') of the agent(MICROLINK). Under the circumstances I am inclined to take it for granted that the company(Electolux) is least interested in providing after sales service to the existing customers and is more interested in roping in new customers. In fact the service centres are in general ill equiped to render service and the company is turning a blind eye to these lapses, as a result of which the poor customer like me has to suffer.     I had bought a Electrolux EDL 254 fridge from Chroma on 11th December 2011. On Sunday, the fridge stopped cooling and I raised a complaint with Electrolux Customer Care on Monday (18th Aug). Their engineer, came on Wednesday, 20th (after 8 calls) and informed that the compressor is faulty and will be replaced under warranty. On Thursday, another person comes to check whether it is a compressor issue or something else. He reconfirmed compressor needs to be replaced and took photocopy of my bills. On Friday, I get a call from a rude lady from their customer care, Sunita asking me to confirm payment for the compressor, only then they will raise an order. Since it clearly says on the fridge, 5 years warranty I refused. They immediately sent a SMS stating the request has been closed with reason - Estimate not approved..!! I am adding a photo here to show the 5 year warranty promise. I have got frustrated with this treatment. I even reached out to Chroma as I bought Extended warranty of 2 years for the fridge for them. However, they are yet to even register a complaint and I am still chasing them. Would like to raise this as a formal complaint against Electrolux service both against wrong information on the warranty and the bad service communication.

      Purcased washing m/c from snapdeal model no et65sarm than contact custoumer care to intallation & demo registration no enag[protected] they told me engineer will available within 48 working hours(4 das), aftre complitin 48 hours no one is available for the same.
      I have purchased electrolux microwave oven on 9/3/2015, i registered a complaint also on same day but no reply, please do the needful, & the technician as soon as possible

        hi, i have purchased an electrolox refrigerator on 1st september 2013. but within 1 year its started doing problem, compressor is not working, the whole refrigerator was full with water and heap of ice collecting in it. i complaint about 20 days ago but they are not responding properly and saying that i have to pay for their service. Please take any initiative .thanks

          Hi, We purchase a Electrolux washing machine in the month of April 2014, the inside filter of the machine was damage/broken by the demo person while giving the demo. We was told that filter will be replace with a new one in the next week, since then almost 4 month got complete but not recd such replacement filter by the electrolux service provider. We did make complain also and following the matter every week but no any positive response/reply yet. Every week we been told that will be fulfill in week time but sadly to say that week not comes yet... We are being harassed, dont know why? What is our falut? Is purchasing such company machine is our fault?

            Hi Good Evening, We purchased an Electro lux spilt 1.5 Tone Air Conditioner (MODEL NO.- EA18SCRBA1) on dt. 22/04/2009. We Got 6 Year warranty on AC Compressor & we complained two times on electrolux customer care call center (Complaint No.- EJAI[protected]). The service center engineer said to us that company did not give 6 year warranty on compressor in 2009.               We have got a electrolux topload crystal logic 7kg washing machine, which has turned pathetic, its making loud noise while washing and drying the clothes, when called for a electrolux service centre, they have sent two technicians, first of all they could not able to recognise the model of the washing machine since the model no was not printed by electrolux, secondly they have not said the service charges which they charged me for 400 INR, just for checking 1 min, also they said the replacement cost will be 4800 INR, which is 40% of the unit price. Electrolux is really a bad appliance company, Beware never buy.

                The complaint number (EHYD[protected]) registered with the customer care on July 5th 2014. As per technician the capacitor has failed. They said they will change it with in 4-5 days. Still today they not cleared the issue. 26 th July one person called and he wants to attend the problem, that time we were out side the house because of 30 minutes prior call. All the times they were simply saying that customer was not responding for the calls properly. By saying same reason the prior complaint was cancelled on approximately 7 days before i.e last week of June 2014. Claiming bigger companies giving too worst service for the customers.

                  We had purchase a fridge on 25 oct 2013 from your dealer Chawla Electroncis (REGD[protected], Netaji Subhash Marg, Darya ganj, New Delhi. As per invoice number 3541 dated 25 oct 2013 Electrolux REF 294.The door of the fridge has been continously giving a problem on 2 occasions the engineer had come to fix up the issue but the problem still persists. The door is not able to close properly as it is still less than one year from purchase either have this issue rectified permanently or replace the fridge. This whole issue is causing a lot of inconvinence to us.

                  In response i ahve recieved an auto generated email-
                  Dear Sir/Madam, ,

                  We do apologize for the inconvenience that you are facing with our product.
                  We Have registered your complaint and your complaint number is EDEL[protected] .
                  Our Engineer will visit your place within 48 hours and he will call you before the visit.

                  In case there is any further assistance required, please feel comfortable to revert to us.


                  As per the email the engineer will arrive within 48 hours. NOBODY TURNED UP. your services are really bad

                    I had purchased one Electrolux Microwave oven from Metro cash & carry stores, Borivali in Oct 2013 under 3 years warranty for gift presentation.
                    Dealer M/s Metro C&C had duly stamped the warranty card with bill no.& dt of purchase mentioned on it.

                    Now the instrument has created some functional problem and we approached the customer care. They have taken the complaint on 18.7.14 at 12:12pm and gave complaint no.EMUM[protected] for attending within 48 working hrs(12 working hrs/day)

                    The technician was reluctant to attend the problem for want of purchase invoice copy even though valid warranty card with dealer's stamp/inv.no/ dt of purchase was mentioned in it.
                    When we told him as it was the gift given to another person, we can not give bill along with gift then he told it is the blind rule set by the company and they have to abide with.

                    Now my request to the Electrolux authorities is that they should apply logic to their rules and also mention in warranty card that the card is valid only with purchase invoice copy. At least customers buying to gift Electrolux items will think twice before buying to gift such items as it reveals the actual purchase price to the acceptor of gifts.

                    Hope Electrolux will recruit logically thinking sales staff in their organization.

                      There was problem with the water pipe of my washing machine. I called the service centre and a person named Vinod came and he took out the part..leaving my machine in an open state.I had asked them to atleast close the machine in order to prevent it from getting damaged, but there wasnt any response. He showed no signs of return. Since then i have been calling and calling in the service centre but no response from there side. The procudure continued for a month. But now a person named Pawan Gupta (mob- [protected]) has been calling since past a week that he wud come and reinstall the component. After many days this guy showed up, installed the component, but then he stated that my machine is not working as the motor has been damaged. On calling the service centre again and again, the manager- Mr. Rahul Singh of TANGIUNE SERVICE CENTRE, ph-[protected] called me on 25th july 2014, telling that the machine wont be repaired unless rs 5000 will be paid. He said ARROGANTLY THAT IT WONT AFFECT HIM WHETHER I COMPLAIN ANYWHERE, WHETHER IN CONSUMER FORUM OR ANYWHERE ELSE, MY MACHINE WONT BE REPAIRED UNLESS THAT AMOUNT IS PAID.Now my machine is in an inoperable condition and it cant be repaired without paying the money, instrad of the fact that i have been asking these people again and again to close my machine. I am not ready to pay even a penny now. The whole responsibility is of these people of service centre to get it repaired. Kindly look into the matter and take strict action as i am even MENTALLY TORTURED BY THIS MANAGER- RAHUL SINGH.

                        I had purchased a Refrigerator of your brand, and it is in warranty. The unit is totally defective and all my efforts to get it repaired or replaced for last three months have gone in vain. Kindly let me know the policy of your company and where and to whom I should take up the case. If there were to be no solution I may have to take it to the Media and also lodge a complaint with the competent authorities.                           Very poor and irritating service. Never to prefer electrolux products. The worst in the country!!!
                          There was problem with the water pipe of my washing machine.                           I am very much agitated with the response and service. I want strict action to be taken against the concerned authorities, else i would be forced to take the help of the consumer court.

                            I bought Electrolux AC for 25k last month and it doesn't work properly at all. Have been calling the service center manager and toll free and I am tired of it. Advice people not to buy this brand as they don't respond at all. Frankly I don't think they even care. Please help me out if possible

                              Hello Sir/Madam, We have bought an Electrolux REF ECP-295SI-FFK refrigerator from Bhagwati Enterprises Scf-643, 1st Floor, Kesho Ram Complex Sector 45c(Burail), Chandigarh on 11-Dec-2013. From the day we have bought this refrigerator it is not functioning properly, it is not giving proper cooling. We have filed lots of complaints to Electrolux customer care and they have send technician but they were not able to solve the problem. I want that faulty refrigerator should be replaced ASAP. We have talked to following Electrolux personals: Mr. Lalit Juneja (Dy. Manager-Marketing)-[protected], Mr. Raman (Service Manager) -[protected] Mr. Deepak –(Raman’s Boss) -[protected] They all say they will get it replace soon but it’s been more that 7months and no action has been taken yet. They are giving excuses that your request is in process. I am completely dissatisfied from the Electrolux, this is first time I have bought any product from this company but my experience has been terrible from the day we have bought it we have been harassed by the Electrolux professionals.                                   Bought an 80 Ltr refrigerator (model - ECL093SH) through Snapdeal.com on 23 May 2014. It was delivered after 15 days on 06 Jun. The company rep came on 11 Jun to install it and the glass shelf over the vegetable box was found shattered. It has not been replaced till date. Then the machine stopped working after a few days. After numerous complaints, a mechanic came and found the compressor dead. He came again on 28 Jun and changed the compressor. On 29 Jun the machine went dead again and this time even the freezer compartment got damaged, as if it had started melting. Numerous complaints have been filed at electrolux.[protected]@pemail.in, but no reply has been received from them. The local rep is insisting on repairing it again, which we have refused and have asked for replacement. We have paid for a new refrigerator and are being forced to accept repeated repairs and wastage of time and comfort.

                                      Dear sir, I bought an Electrolux full automatic washing machine model name Serena 6.5 kg three months back from a Guwahati based home appliances store.I use it only on sundays as I don't get time to use it on working days.The weight of my clothes I put into the wahsing machine is hardly three or three and half kgs. For first couple of Sundays it was working nicely and later the digital switch boxes of the washing machine started giving trouble.I registered a complaint with local servicing centre in Guwahati after some hard efforts as they never used to pick up the phone. They assured me that they would send the servicing guy to check the machine but they never sent. Finally I met the servicing guy accidently on the road and requested him to come and check the machine. He came and checked it and said there may be a problem on the digital switch board as it was not functioning properly. But he managed to make the machine run somehow. But just after one wash it started giving problems again and washing clothes in that machine seemed just impossible. Then I tried to contact the servicing centre for four days continuously and they just did not pick up the phone. On fifth day some lady picked up the phone and I had told her about the problem with my machine. She assured me that she would send the servicing guy. But she never did and not even called me back. After a week i met the servicing guy in the same manner on the road and requested him to check my machine. He came and checked and told me that digital switch board is malfunctioning. He asked me to change it. So I kept on calling the servicing centre again and again but nobody picked up my phone. I am frustrated to the core now and going to file a complaint against Electrolux in the consumer court and will ask all my friends and relatives not to buy this product anymore. I spent around 16000? on this machine and within four months its malfunctioning. I feel I have wasted my hard earned money on a product which claims as the leader in home appliances and in satisfactory service to its customer.Its utterly untrue and I ask all the consumers not to buy this third class product with fourth class service. I am going serve a legal notice soon on Electrolux. But I would like to see a response from Electrlux before I go on to do that. Thanking you. Manab Jyoti Kashyap.
