Exide Industries — battery performance

I baught New exide batteries that is in warranty yet but performance is too bad it's all like Dead batteries I visited service centre and I didn't found any resolution from there.
I am unsatisfied with the exide services and product.
It seems I wasted my money on exide batterie.

    I baught 4 New exide batteries that is in warranty yet but performance is too bad it's all like Dead batteries I visited service centre and I didn't found any resolution from there. They are totally failed to find issue and they return me all batteries after 4 days without any resolution.
    I am unsatisfied with the exide services and product.
    It seems I wasted my money on exide batteries.

      Purchase from:m/s jain petrol supply co., hazaribag-825301, jharkhand invoice date:[protected] exide a8l6a0 2x123 battery exide 12vlt. Within 15 month of purchase ups and battery both are not working. Many times i had called in exide's toll free customer care no. But no call made in this no. Then i request m/s jain petrol supply co. For my problem. He sent a company's person with me after 3-4 days of complain. The company's person told me that the gravity of battery is in worst condition. He say me to charge battery from outside. Than it may works better. I have charged my battery but after 1 hours of his going both battery and ups not working. I have tried so many times to the toll free no. Of exide. I complaining so many times m/s jain petrol supply. I also call hazaribag office. But no one has came to me to inspection that what happen to my ups and battery. How a reputated company ignoring customers problem within guarantee period. जब गारंटी पीरियड में ऐसा रवैया है तो आगे भगवान् ही मालिक है।जबकि बैटरी लाइन की ये एकमात्र और सम्मानित कंपनी है।

        I have purchased the exide inverter battery last year, but from the last 2 months the battery is not working properly, so i make a complaint to customer care, till here it was fine but unfortunately the true story starts from here.

        Firstly i called the dealer to see the problem he checked each n everything thoroughly and tell me that the battery having the manufacturing default so he suggested me to call the customer care of exide.

        After complaining, i got a call from their engineer name was mr vikalp, he told me ki sir today i could not come is it possible if i come tomorrow, i told him that as u are aware that the summers are going on and having a small kids at home so if possible plz make it asap, he requested me for tomorrow, as i don't have any option i told him ok.

        Then the next day he came to my place after calling him several time he visited, after entering the home he just take only 1 minute and tell me that battery is ok and your inverter is faulty, as my inverter was not from the exide company, i assumed that this guy is no more interested to see some other company’s stuff,

        Anyways i requested him that plz have a look properly as i have told him that i have already checked this machine by 2 electricians and their verdict that the battery is faulty inverter is fine.

        He was so arrogant and very unprofessional that he doesn’t want to listen anything and started manuclating me giving me the offer if you can spend 800 rupees i can change your battery free of cost. I have told him clearly that this is something wrong and its not the right way to do so.

        He told me then do whatever you want to do,

        After i went from ther to call the customer care and complaint about him they just told me sir we will take care, but no necessary action taken yet.

        He given me the receipt, after i checked the receipt he mentioned in the slip that thr was no warranty cared, no purchase receipt infact on the place of signature he mentioned no signature, i was shocked after seeing all this, then i have told him tat i will make a complaint for the same he told me do whatever you want to do.

        On a very next day i got a call from some agent and telling me what happened and all and trying to manuclating me that plz don’t make a complaint and all.

        My overall experience was so shocking that how exide people harrasing their customers.

        I am attaching all the necessary documents for the same,

        And hope that this will not happened to anyone those who trust exide.

          We bought an exide inverter almost an year back. We had several issues frequently with the inverter. The short term solutions didn’t work and it seems it has some electrical connectivity problem. We contacted dealers and they connected us to main dealers in kochi.

          Though we received a call from them that they will be reaching shortly they never showed up. It’s been more a month now and the inverter is just a junk that is taking up space at my house.

          Please do the needful and resolve it immediately

              Please refer to our bsnl karnataka circle purchase order mm20-21a/2016-17/vrla/exide dated 31.05.2016. On the above order, battery cells were supplied under invoice no [protected] dated 30.07.2016 to bsnl mangalore. One set was installed at kamila bts site on 17.08.2017 which was supplied under lot 040716. Out of this, one cell (No 063258) has no continuity. Please arrange to replace/repair the same.

                I have purchased one battery 12xl5l-b exide xplore with 24 months gurranty & 24 months warranty hsn code 85071000, sr. No. 2276, battery code m6g7u076489/6g72 from authorised dealer of exide batteries named united motor co., bharat nagar, ferozepur road, ludhiana vide inoice no.29530 dated 18/09/17. One week back my battery is fully discharged. I had given this battery to united motor co. For replacement as it is just 8 months old battery i gave my original bill so that battery can be replaced. Dealer says that we will check & charge this battery first you can come after 5-6 days. Yesterday after a week when i went to dealer he says that battery is fully charged you can take it but when i says to him please check the battery in front of me battery is fully in discharged position. When i says for replacement of battery person in charge totally refused to change the battery and even refused my genuine request of take 2-3 days more to change my battery and give me a standby battery for the time being so that i can use my activa. My activa has been stranded for more than a week now and i am at great inconvenience because of this. After a long time talking to him person is get furustrated and saying you can replace from anyone else i am dealing only in sales and does nothing to concern with replacement and after sale service to claim gurantee/warranty you have to contact exide company i cannot replace battery and you can do anything i don’t bother you and handover my battery back to me after misbehaved with me so much. Next day i decided to complaint exide industries about kind of after sale service provided by the dealer but i was shocked to see that the battery he handover to me is some other battery which is not of me which has battery code mgf7v807114/6f75. I think he has change my battery with some bad intension and to harass me. When i go to shop to claim my battery back the person misbehaved with me so much this time also. These types of dealer will surely defame the most trusted brand of exide in relation to very poor after sale service. After all this happening to me i also thinking to purchase and trust some other brand like amron, luminous in future. Please take immediate action as per your norms on dealer and replace my battery at earliest otherwise i lose my faith in reputed brand of exide batteries. I will never ever goes to shop of this dealer in future and surely tell the other people known to me about this incidence and bad experience i faced.

                  With in 3 month exide battery having charging problem

                  I contact with dealer he said battery have manufacturing default, i should complain to company

                  I lodged compalint but no response is received from their side

                  They are saying it will take 72 hours to visit by engineer, after that the engineer will tell how much time it will take to correct the problem

                  First they sold battery having manufacturing default and if we complain they will take 72 hours to just visit at our place then engineer will tell how much time he need more to correct problem

                  Will exide company tell us what customer do without electricity, betwwen that period in summer days if electricity failure occured

                  Fault of exide company and only the customer is suffering

I repeated the complaint after two hours and thrice today i. E 16.5.18. The mechanic is not responding to my calls. The complaint remained unattended till now.                       Since october 2017, we have received multiple lots of ep 42-12 vrla (Smf)
                      Batteries with puffed/bulged defects. For example, out of 496 batteries delivered on 24/02/18, 148 nos. Batteries found to be bulged/puffed beyond acceptable limit. The same was detected in our pdi (Pre-dispatch checks) and communicated to exide highlighting the risk of explosion and associated danger. We requested replacement of the puffed batteries but exide confirmed that the bulging/puffing was well within ‘exide allowable limits” and ruled out any performance / safety issues. Subsequently exide provided a written commitment (Technical note) to that effect with serial numbers of the puffed batteries. We used those batteries rather
                      Reluctantly (After much back and forth deliberations and visits by exide) in its
                      Solar home systems and deployed them in bihar, odisha and up, purely on
                      The written assurance of exide.

                      However, on 14th march, 2018 we received the first of the 3 cases of battery
                      Explosion / crack, so far, pertaining to the same lots where defect of
                      Puffing/bulging was highlighted.

                      After the first incident of explosion, we informed exide about
                      The said failure despite the written assurance of performance and safety from exide. Subsequently sales head, north, and service head, north visited us on 20th april, 2018 and inspected one of the damaged batteries. They confirmed that technical person from exide would visit our customer site to assess the root cause of failure and take further actions. Till date, even after our several foolowups exide has not visited or shown inclination to address this issue.

                            I have purchased two exide batteries from M/S SHARMA BATTERIES, RUDRAPUR DISTRICT USNAGAR, Uttarakhand on 25th Januaru, 2018.Initially the output of batteries were satisfactory. In the first week of May, 2018 when the light cuts were more frequent, the out put of batteries were very low.. On 10th May, 2018 batteries were deep discharged with almost zero out put. Complaint no. NUTA 00002937V634 was registered. A chap visited same day and charger was placed to charge the batteries. The charging of batteries is very poor and in the event of light cuts back last for an hours. The response of service engineer and sharma batteries are not satisfactory.
                            Now, you are requested to look in the matter and expedite the issue as early as possible.

                              My exide battery serial number is a1l3c319871. This is exide max. I bought it from "the lokenath battery centre", 122/1, m. B. Road, nimta, kolkata : 49. (Dealer code: 12398) my battery gone dead. I want to buy a new one by replacing this. What is your replacing policy? Unfortunately i lost my invoice and the dealer doesn't help regarding this. He is offering me rs.1000.00 discount by replacing my battery. Then why shouldn't i go for amaron or other battery with a good replacement policy?

                                  Exide battery for my inverter burst in my house and the acid spread all over the house, there were 3 people near the battery who thankfully did not get very hurt. When i called the customer service about the battery explosion even though the battery was in guarantee they said they can't do anything in case of battery explosion, they don't cover that. Something this serious should have some liability from the company and the users should be made aware of this before the purchase. If someone were severely injured because of this, there is no liability from anyone.

                                    My Exide Ceil 850Va/12V Sine Wave Inverter was stop working on 8th Apr'18. Post that I connected Exide customer care on 9th Apr'18 ( Reference # NHRA00021845V503). Post that I continuously followed up with Customer care post that on 11th technician came and open all the spare parts told that some parts require to be replace and I ready to pay the cost for the same. He told that he will arrange the same within same day ( 11th Apr'18). But post that I followed with him n number of times (some time he even didn't responded). Post that I again followed with Exide customer care on 14th Apr'18 ( Ref no# NHRA00022302V503) then again followed up daily through customer care . Again I lodge complain on 21st Apr'18 ( Ref no # NHRA00033938V656).
                                    Net net from 9th Apr'18 to till date I called n number of time to Exide team & the technician but not getting any resolution . The technician totally destroyed my inverter and battery charging points. Please support on urgently. Many thanks

                                      I have purchased the exide car battery (Little champ) shiva motor pinjore district panchayath haryana 134102. Battery is not working.
